Republic of Etheria Empty Republic of Etheria

Key Points of the Republic:

--Mc'noirval, Gru'ait, Small Tribes/Islands
Mc'noirval is not a town so much as a gathering place and sacred ground of many of the tribes of the Noirval Islands.  They settle many of their disputes here, including trade, customs, fishing rights, etc.  The people here are less civilized than many of the other towns and cities, and although they have allowed the Rebpublic to claim their lands, they have done so out of the benefits of trades and concerns that people would destroy their way of life while seeking their land.  Additionally, treaties have been made to reduce tourism and traveling in their area, as well giving them exclusive rights for the areas in their territory, banning outsiders from fishing, air trafficking, etc. without consent of reigning Kahn of the islands.  Many unique and interesting artworks stem from this area, and although study of the way of life here is allowed with permission, the way of life itself cannot be threatened.  Mc'noirval is one of the few places where the older customs of melee and archaic combat are still heavily held in regard and within Mc'noirval there are held many competitions over such fighting styles.

Gru'ait is quite unlike its neighboring tribes in its high civility and larger numbers.  The town is quite large and consists of citizens, refinery workers, and Force Users, as well as their supporting families.  It is a busy, but isolated town, separated by any major landmarks or cities by ocean.  As such, there is quite a large part of naval military people here, as well as transportation specialists for sea ships and travel.  This is the town that homes the largest naval military group within Aria, and Gru'ait is quite proud of it.


--Reservation/Refinery
The Reservation and Refinery of the Repbulic are cut off from the main city that helps to keep them running and with trade.  As such, here is heavy sea ship travel between these two and the and the actual city Mc'Terra so that many Force Users may commute between working and training and the ether refinery can trade as efficiently as possible.  Additionally, these ships are usually known as the fastest ships within Aria, as they are part of the older naval ships within the Republic.


--Shipping Area
The Shipping Area of the Republic is quite large and is split between trading ships, which are also older naval ships, and newer naval ships for the naval military.   They entire region of docks and shipping is heavily secured and watched, and cargo is also accurately recorded, including inter-country trade.  Other ships that are not part of the navy or general trade are not accepted within this bay unless it is a severe emergency.

This role-play is now closed due to the following reasons:

1. MethosArchaic no longer has time to assist as RPM.
2. Several members have voiced an opinion of keeping it private within a smaller group, defeating the purpose of this RP.
3. Inactivity; inability to get a response from inactive members.
4. Christmas Holidays require the use of the RPG stylesheet, which is currently being used by this role-play.
5. Several inactive members have implied or stated that they will not return in the near future.

This role-play may come back as a smaller role-play. No further massive role-plays will be run by Leah7 on this forum ever again. There is not enough people that are willing to work together outside of their normal, small cliques to make this kind of role-play work--especially for one of this scale. As such, never expect to see this style of role-play again, but you may see this setting again, if you are invited.
