Leah7, Administrator Empty Leah7, Administrator

Post by JerriLeah7 23rd June 2012, 10:06 pm

I never really made an introduction.  Over a year ago, I had first thought: "Why would I need to introduce myself?  I'm an admin...and I'm the only one here."  And for the longest time, the only people who had joined were people who already knew me.  Yet, that's not the case anymore.  It's only fair to give a little info about myself, since I ask new members to do so, as well.  Here we go.

I'm twenty two years old and I love music, art, poetry, playing the piano and clarinet, singing, writing, role-playing, reading, watching anime, and playing video games.  My skills consist of administrating, sign language, singing accurately, socializing, and seducing men helping others in minor ways.

I have not accomplished much in my life--I've tried Universities, motivational classes, cashiering--except for Gateway to Role-Play.  In order to understand who I am, at least partially, you have understand something about GtR.  When I made it, it wasn't for me to run.  I helped friends set it up and was then going to step down.  However, this was no longer an option for me, due to certain circumstances, and as such, I'm still running the place today.

Running GtR for over a year has not only been my greatest accomplishment--it has become my pride.  My joy.  My home.  I love this place for the people on it and no other reason.  It has changed who I am, because it is the ONE thing in my entire life that I have ever remained so motivated about for so long.  I don't know why this is the case, but I can only thank the community.

I have made so many mistakes as an administrator and I still do.  I have weaknesses--and not just as an admin, but also as a role-player.  EphPhoenix has told me on several occasions that power changes a person in the worst way...and maybe it does.  I know one thing for sure:  It's made me ambitious.

I am ambitious about something!  Us.  Our community--every single member here.  I want us to grow--not just in members, but in power, inner strength, and friendship.  I want us to become better people, to teach each other, learn from each other, become even more than what we are!  I have tried towards this goal for over a year--recruiting, growing, changing, updating, shifting, and moving the forum into different directions and goals and role-plays.

And I'm not finished.  I'm just getting started.  This is my home, and at this point in my life, it's the only one I have.  Every single member here means the world to me.   I want you to know that and I want you to get to know me, because you are a part of my family.  I hope we can all get to know each other for the sake of GtR and the wonderful, creative adventures that we can have together.

And that's it.  Now you know what I do here and why I'm doing it.  I hope you'll all continue to stay with us and grow into a family, because this is the forum will you always be welcome.  Smile, Gateway members!  I appreciate you.  (That means you, Guest.)  =)

I have only one thing to say. And that is, I'm proud of you too. This forum may not seem like much to most people, but this is what drives you. So it's very important. To you, and to us who help it grow alongside you. So never forget that drive you have, and keep going forward.

Also, don't worry about doing mistakes. It's only human after all. Just so long as you learn from them, and strive not to repeat them again.

You haven't seduced me.

And this, my Princess, is why this is the best forum I've ever had the joy to be a part of.

Wow, this is the most amazing forum I could have ever hoped to come across. Thank you for sharing this, you are truly incredible.

By the way, that's a neat trick with my username showing up in the post. Does it read cookies or...?

It is a list of variables which you can use. Some show statistics of the forum whearas others show the information of the user viewing them.
