About the Lounge

Welcome to the Character Art Lounge

This section exists so that VIP members (as a reward for their activity) can receive free character art when this section is available and so that those that are not VIP's (that have the funds) can also request art from GtR's Artist, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Additionally, any member can win a commission by participating in GtR games, events, and Holiday celebrations, so you can always look forward to those!  

Things that will be posted later in this thread are:

• Sample artworks from Ackeren so that you can be familiar with her art style.
• Pricing Information & Package Information

In this section, you can:
• Request a sketch, lineart, or full color drawing of any role-play character used on this site.
• Offer to draw characters for those that have requested it.

Requesting Rules & Information

• Follow the GtR rules and do not bump a request unless 72 hours have passed.
• You must use the requesting layout in order to have a request considered for completion.  
• When starting your own request, be sure to have a PayPal account in order to pay the artist.
• No free requests can be made by a member unless an offer is made here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
• Respect the artist and be patient with your request.
• If you are not a VIP, your character must already be active within a role-play on GtR, presently or in the past.

Example:
Name:  Character's Name

Role-Play: Link to your character in the registration thread.

Personality:  List the character's personality.

Detailed Description: Please describe the character's appearance with much detail.  Image references are appreciated.

Request Type: State if you want a full color, lineart, or sketch.  If you are requesting for full color, please list the color choices for all features including clothing.

Background Type:  Do you want no background, a simple background, or complex background?  Please describe the background scenery with great detail if you have something specific in mind.  **NOTICE:  This is for full color requets only!!**

Pose Description:  Please describe the desired pose for your character or include any additional desired items (such as weapons, accessories, etc.) and provide details or sample images as references.

Additional Information:  Is there anything else that you'd like to request, specifically?  Is there a particular expression/pose/attitude that you'd like to portray?  Listing the personality of the character or including some role-play excerpt would be very helpful!

You should ask Ackeren if:

--Your prices change when you have an exceptional amount of detail in your background.

--You'd like to request multiple characters.

--You have pricing inquiries.
