World: Dark Side

World Name: Earth, millions of years after the apocalypse
Original Character's Name(s): Illness, Dimitri Schrieber, Azrath
Solar View: Same as Earth in basic necessity, only there are two moons.
Similarities/Differences to Earth: It's geographical status is the same as we currently know.
Background/Species Overview: Mankind exists. Life goes on as it does now. Where there are many technilogical advancements there are no flying cars and transportation devices. Everything is still pretty high tech. The apocalypse has given rise to many 'creatures'. Wierns (Witches), Vampires, Werewolves, and other such 'genetic mutations'. Some are part of the human world, using the abilties they are born with to become famous. Others merely blend in, going to schools, colleges, have jobs and families. There are also some who hide, co exist, they do not shun the human world yet they don't embrace it. There are also those who cause anarchy, destruction, feed, kill and manipulate the human race. Then, there are the hunters. Those who kill the magestic beings turned rogue. The way they fight and are trained, they might as well be the creatures themselves.
Additional Information: Hunters are a special breed of human trained and honed to hunt the creatures of the night. They have either taken up the job from their parents, or have had contact with the creatures of the night and chosen this path. It is not forced upon them, they are completely willing. They also vary in their views. While some are pacifists and beleive that the creatures are the same as humans, others are extremists, and have vowed to exterminate all of the 'genetic monstrositys.'
(If anyone wishes for me to add more information, I would be more than happy. I am currently still building on this idea. Also, the idea of Wierns and the basics of hunters has been taken from 'Nightschool' by Svetlana Schmakova)

Are you going to post any of the OC's from this world into the OC Roster so that we can get to know them?
I really find the idea of this world intriguing and I do like the idea that it is our own technological advancement that created the "creatures of the night." It seems that there are many different groups here, all on how each would treat each other, whether by hostility, indifference, or peace.
With all of these different things of handling things, is there a risk of war? What about government, do they have to help handling things? Which species is/are "dominant?"
