What are you listening to?
First topic message reminder :
I tested Cladun: This is an RPG! today, and the title screen music gave me a very pleasant surprise! there's also an 8-bit version (actually, the whole game has a modern and an 8 bit version of the music)

Nice! That's a really pretty song! I agree on the instrumentals there! Also the amount of OC remix in this thread is awesome!
Me? I've been listening to a lot of soundtracks myself lately. Well between that and the first album from SUPERCAR from way back in 1998. (Japanese Grunge Rock goodness, it is!)
What soundtracks?? Here's what!
Kirby Canvas Curse OST- Kirby games actually have some really kick ass music. This one remixed a lot of the older songs and I love it's weirdness!
Deus Ex: Human Revolution OST- I loved this game and cannot wait for the sequel. Besides how pretty the game is, I'm ready for more of Michael McCann's electronic ambient brilliance! This soundtrack is perfect for the tone of the game and I love it for writing to especially!(I don't do well writing while lyrics play in my ear!)
And finally, my go to lately in the car, (when not listening to a podcast, at least):
UNDERTALE OST- My favorite game of last year also has the best game soundtrack I have heard in quite some time. Spanning many genres of music, shifting in tone for so many situations, this soundtrack has a bit of everything, and the switch in many songs from an 8-bit style to a wider range of instrumentation creates an epic vibe you couldn't get any other way! Here's some standouts from each!
Hard choice here, it's all so good, so main theme!
And for Undertale, this is the one I've been stuck on lately, the circumstances for when it plays makes it even more epic, but I'm not going to spoil the game for you!
Soundtracks are available on Kirby's Rainbow Resort Fansite, Amazon.com for Deus Ex, and Bandcamp for Undertale! I highly reccommend them all!
