Xoia Closed

He woke up A bit late into the morning, underneath smooth silk sheets on a soft down bed. He Got up slowly and dressed in some fine clothes. Today was his birthday, and his coming of age day, he was turning 60 today. He walked downstairs and walked to the kitchen. When the servents saw him, they started making breakfast. After a few minutes, a plate was set in front of him and he started eating. After a short while, he got up from the table and walked out the front door and around the grounds. He walked slowly around the cut lawn, the flower guardens, the ponds. And while it was all nice, it was boring. He was bored, simply waiting for the celebration to begin a little later.

After about an hour of walking around, he was bored. He decided to go out to the training area. He went to the magic range to practice a little. At his arrival, the others that were there stood back, either watching or leaving Calling upon his power, he summoned forth a hazy glowing ball in his hands. Launching it foward at the target, he struck it and left a deep wound in the wooden dummy. Then, focusing on combining his powers, he summoned a creature of darkness, about the size of a small dog, that lept foward, using claw and fang to rip and tear at the target, leaving many small wounds along its once- smooth surface. However, after only a few seconds, it vanished, his skill still low with summoning. A bit tired after that, he walked over to a nearby tree, and took a small nap.

He woke up about an hour later feeling refreshed. He looked at the sun and saw it was still early, several hours from sundown. He decided to walk to the library. He slowly walked and idlely scanned the shelves. After a little, he found an old tome that he didn't remember seeing before. He took it down and started reading it. It was a book about the use of magic. Alongside the many informative paragraphs were many detailed pictures. It stated that using magic is channeling energy from the ethreal world, from the plane of that element. Among the many chapters was one about the forming of illia.

Origionally, both light and dark came into this world from the ethrael world, and formed two great land masses. They then gathered Allies from other planes, who formed islands around their ally. These islands were connected by land bridges. It states that the different races are desendants of the elementals that first created illia, who have adapted to this world. Humans, it states, are mixes of the races. Then it shows a detailed picture of the great fissure. It states that the tension of the opposing elements was too great, and it ripped the land. Only a single, narrow piece remains.

Then it returns to the subject of magic. It goes on about a myriad of topics, including enchanting, summoning, and battling. He learns a great deal in just skimming over the huge tome, which is several thousand pages, and very tall and wide. he looks up after what seems only a few hours, and he sees that the sun is already starting to set. He hurriedly walks back to his room, and begins to clean himself up. Then he dresses himself in his nicest set of clothing. He has a black tunic with a sheen whenever he moves and with silver fur trim at the arms, neck, and waist , with a silver sash, A silver amulet of the full moon, leggings with silver trim at the waist and legs, and fine boots with silver fur trim. The entire outfit had sparsely placed silver studs in the shape of moons and stars. Then he walked out of his room and out to the Party Grounds in behind the house.

There, set up was a large area under the clear night sky. there was a few hundred people there, with another area set off to the side for the servents. usually they were not incited to such events, but he had insisted. In the main area, was most of the younger nobles and older children of nobles, those his age and a little older. There, he met his father, who greeted him with a warm smile. He promptly handed him a wraped package. He opened it immediately, and saw a cloak. It was pitch black, but had a sheen, almost like a glow, when it moved. On the inside was a beautifully done picture of the night sky sewn in with the fabric so that it didnt stick out. It was also very sturdy, and could be used as armor. He thanked his father, who told him to go enjoy the party. The night was young, and the crowd alive.

He mingled among the crowd for a little while, hearing many happy birthdays and being presented with many presents, both large and small, which he took and placed on a large empty table. There would be time to open those later. In the center of the area, there was entertainment going on. In a bit, the duels would open up, and that was the part he was interested in. He was idlely walking around when he saw his younger brother and a few of his friends walking towards him. He frowned, as only people he invited were supposed to come, and he did not invite his brothers lackeys. But he was in a good mood, and decided to let it go. He braced himself for what would shurly be an unplesant exchange filled with veiled threads and backhanded comments, as always. Oh well, it was unavoidable, he supposed. He greeted his brother and put his hand foward for a shake, which his brother pretended to not notice, at which the two following his brother around snickered at. He remained unpreterbed, even though they were both rather large and stronge looking. He was confident in himself and his abilitys. He used magic to make a vine appear around his brothers ankle and trip him, then helped him up graciously with a smile, asking if he was alright.

His brother thanked him for helping him up, but his eyes shot daggers. "Thank you brother, but be careful, when you're playing with fire." At this his brother winked at him. He had known that his brother wanted his place as the next head of the family for a while now, but he had never tried anything. "Now if you'll excuse me and my friends here, we have another engagement" and with that he and his two goons walked off. Odd, as he usually enjoyed listening to his own barbed speeches so much. Oh well then, he was getting hungry anyway. He walked over to the food table, and was handed a loaf of freshly baked bread, a choice cut of fine meat, and a honey cake. He walked over to a tree, sat down against it, and started eating. After a little, when he was finished, and the moon was high in the sky, he walked toward the center, for the entertainment.

He strode through the crowd and started to watch the fun. Volunteers from the crowd strode into the center, into a ring of stones. There, they battled magic to magic, sword to sword, whatever they wished to use. The stones had the dual properties of keeping in both the combatants, as well as any magic or projectiles, and healing any combatant that approached death, to enshure a friendly dual. After watching several good matches, he stepped into the ring himself. Then opposite him, he saw one of the goons his brother brought. And he was holding a flaming axe, that looked like it could kill. He saw his brother standing right on the sidelines. "Remember brother, be careful when you play with fire."

This was not good, he could die, and on the day he became a man. Then he noticed that the good was swaying, probably drunk. This might not be as bad as he first thought. He raised hands up and started talking. just long enough to distract the man from the elemental spirit he was creating behind him.

"Well, it is my honor to fight such a worth opponent. I'm shure that we'll have a fine match. Did you know that its an honor to fight someone on their birthday? you'll be the first person i fight as a man. well, shall you take the first move?"

With that, the man started moving foward. When he did, the water elemental jumped onto him. He took his free hand and started swating at it, but he didnt manage to hit it. it slithered up his arm, onto his weapon handle, making it slippery. then it crawled onto the blade of the weapon, extinguishing the fire, but evaporating. The man found it hard to hold onto his weapon, and was barely able to hold onto it.

The man charged at him, raising his weapon high. Suddenly, while the weapon was swinging, vines came out of xoias hands, and grabbed the axe from the man, it sliding easily while it was wet, and he flung it back behind him. He stood there, cloak and hair billowing in the wind, the axe hit the ground behind him. Then he strode foward purposefully at the man, holding up his hands. Out of them came a small blast of wind, that made him stumble back. Then a vine came out of the ground and slipped around his ankle, causing him to fall. Then xoia walked up to him, put his hand foward, and sent a blast of darkness at his face, breaking several bones in the process, and knocking him unconcious.

The crowd clapped and cheered, some shocked at the outcome. Xoia was standing there, the hood covering the top of his face, breathing heavily. Suddenly, he threw his head back and laughed, a sound filled with relief. He bowed for the crowd, then walked out of the circle. Then his brother walked over to him, a scowl on his face. Xoia grabbed two glasses off of a nearby table, one filled with wine, and one with juice. He handed the juice one to his brother, as he was not yet old enough to drink.

"Laugh brother, and be merry, it is a party after all. That was some nice work, enchanting that axe. But you should know that i'm better than that."

At this, the boy's scowl deepened, and he seemed angry.
"Careful brother, you're playing with fire again, and that is not a safe thing to do."
"Ah, but what fun it is. And besides, fire hasnt been able to hurt me yet." With this, he drained his entire glass.

"Brother, i challenge you to a duel, for the right of your inheritance."

At this, xoias smile dissapeared, to be replaced, with a stony expression.
"Very well brother, but if i win, you must follow one command of mine, whatever it may be."

"Very well, i agree to these terms. I will meet you as the moon sets."

He walked around the party, greeting his guests, and talking with his friends. He even flirted with some of the girls, who were quite impressed with his performance in the duel. Well, they'll have alot more to be impressed with after his next match. He was hungry and walked over to one of the food tables and grabbed somthing to eat. Then he walked over to the other party area, and mingled with some of the servants. He saw that they were fine and happy, and walked back to his party. He saw that he still had a few hours left, so he went back to his room and grabbed that book. He took it outside, and sat against a tree, reading up about fire magic, somthing that his brother seemed good in. After about an hour, he saw it was almost time for the moon to set, and he had one last thing to do. He had gotten the cloak from his father, and he knew that it was more than it appeared, it had to be. He felt along it, and it seemed to grow lighter, almost wispy. It was obviously magical, and he had to try it out. He hung it on a branch, and he fired a blast of water at it. The area seemed to grow a little darker for a few seconds, and the water seemed to glance off of the cloak, and a little seemed to be absorbed into it. He walked over and put the cloak on, and he seemed to gain some energy. This was amazing, and it would be an invaluable weapon in the coming duel. He looked up, and saw that the moon was about to set. He walked over, resolute and confident about the upcoming battle.

When Xoia walked up to the crowd around the duel ring, they all parted for him. He walked into the center of the ring, and stood waiting. After only a few seconds, his brother strode into the ring, holding a small battleaxe, which took two hands for him to weild. As soon as he was in the center, the shields went up, casting an erie dark glow on everything.

" I'm ready to do this, though i take no pleasure in it. Come, and we shall meet in battle, and one shall emerge the victor."

At that, they both assumed stances, ready. They circled one another, each wary of the other. The mood was tense, and the air felt heavy. Xoia felt as though he was moving in slow motion. Suddenly, his brother rushed foward, swinging his axe, which was now on fire. Xoia had a small root grow around his brothers ankle, tripping him. When he fell, he scrambled to get up. Xoia shot a ball of darkness at him, sending him rolling. Then a burst of wind, carrying debris, hit him and gave him many small cuts. Xoia them formed a stream of water between his hands. He sent it at his brother, binding him to the ground. his brother grunted, and struggled to get up. Suddenly, fire appeared around him, evaporating the water and covering the ring in steam. Xoia shot over a dozenl more balls of water at his brother, who evaporated them all, making the steam so thick that they could not even see each other, and the shield would keep it all in.

Xoia stood there, panting at the exertion. He was now blind, and every movement covered him in small droplets of water. This was not good, how was he supposed to fight blind? He had put alot of energy into those attacks, and knew he could not go on for much longer. Suddenly, he started to tingle. It was coming from the mist, and that was very odd. Suddenly, he saw blue flickers of electricity in the mist, and it hit him, making him fall to the ground. The mist was conducting the electricity. Then the cloak turned wispy, and a little transparent. The attack started hurting a little less, and he could feel the energy it was giving him. After a few seconds, the electricity had made most of the steam turn back to water. When xoia stood up, he saw his brother over him, with the axe. "Well, it looks like i win, you're too tired after that to use any more magic, and i still have this."

"You underestimate me brother," said xoia, standing up, to his brothers suprise" i'm tougher than i look." He put his hands up, and a cloud of darkness appeared around his brothers head. Marshalling his strength, his brother made a cloud of light around it. This was it then, a direct battle between their wills, and their strength of magic. They stood there for several minutes, both ready to collapse, but unwilling to give up. Suddenly, a large blast of fire shot from his brother at xoia. Xoia held out both of his hands, wind in one and water in the other, both swirling. He shot them both, and they collided in the middle, swirling and booming in a circle. It hit the fireball, they exploded, shooting hot, heavy, wet wind outward, blowing them both into the walls of the arena.

When the smoke and mist cleared, the were both on the ground, against the walls. They both stood and faced each other, the wind still swirling and blowing, shaking their hair and clothes. his brother held up his hand, and a red glow started form in his hand. before he could finish his spell, he fell foward, unconcious from exaustion. The walls lowered, and he walked out, collapsing against a nearby tree.

He woke up in his bed, not tired, but exausted. His room was dim, as if the sun was just setting. But he couldn't have slept all day. He looked outside, and shure enough, it was almost night. His stomach started rumbling, and he realised he hadn't eaten all day. He walked down to the kitchen. One of the servents saw him, and ran and made him a plate of food. Xoia noticed somthing new in the servents eyes. more than the respect that they had for his family. More even than the trust he had forged with them. Could it be... awe? No, he hadn't done anything, he just won a few duels. The servent asked if he needed anything else, and when he nodded no, the servent walked away, returning to his normal duties. Xoia ate quietly, thinking. He had one command that he could give his brother that must be followed. This was no small matter, as it could determine the outcome of an entire life.

Kyana was on guard, turning slowly around her growling target, this wasn't only training, it was survival. Kill or be killed, actually in this case eat or be eaten. Kyana stared straight into his feline eyes ready to react to to slightest sign of an attack. The tiget than pounces right at her neck and closes his jaws right on it. But instead of tearig it appart, the tiger snapped air. He landed, confused with what just happened when suddenly he recieves a powerfull joint fist downward bash right on the top of his skull, fracturing it. Kyana, after the mighty blow, does not let the tiger have any chance. She get on his back and starts bashing on the tigers fractured skull at full force over and over again until the blood starts gushing out and a few drops splash onto her face.

she gets up off of the tiger and inspects him. *Stupid animals, they always fall for that illusion...* she sighs and than chuckles. Kyana wipes the blood off her metal plated gloves and skins the tiger, once done she bring it to her camp with the help of her wheelbarrel she had made. *Good job Kya.. This will be a nice coat and i have food for a while now* she thought to herself, satisfied.

Kazama waited, looking for his friends to strike the two goblins that were ahead of him. The moment he saw dark energy strike one of the int head was when He he sen out o a dust of wind to cover him; when he left the cover of the dust he saw sticks and picked them up with his wind power and sent it to one of the goblin's chests. He watched as the stick empaled strait through a lung. He watched the goblin fall back to the ground. He wished the dark head strike was enough to finish the job on the the other goblin but unfortunately, it didn't work like he wanted it to. Know the goblin was swinging a wooden stick down on him. Whith a ball of wind he moved it off corse to the ground. He went to slam a thin sharp burst of wind through it's chest but it got to him first by kicking him to the ground. It was about to hit him in the skull when yogamei stepped in by hitting it in the kneck, focusing it's attention on him. When the thing looked around yogamei stuffed dark energy in it's face and uppercutted it along the chin with some more dark energy. Fira was the last one to come out of hiding with slash of water to it's face; she held it in front of it long enough for yogamei the brute of the party to hit it with some more dark energy in the stomac. He then tried to jump back when it cane back with retaliation, a blow to his face. It smacked him in the face and left him dazed, close to being knocked out, the damage was unlike anything he's taken so far which helped him realize just how much of a threat those goblins really were. Kazaka. A craft individual, utilized tue moment when he fell down to send sharp wind at the th goblins head. He left anrather big cut on it and know the thing was starting to blead to death, it slow walked off of him and in to the direction that they were going. Fira was about to finish the deed when yogamei attacked, using his dark energy from the palm of his hand. Kazama spawned his wind within the dark ball to make it to where it ounce the wind was released it would creat a super nova like explosion, sending the dark energy out. Fira added her dark energy to the combination to make the attack stronger while tripping the goblin by it leg with a vine. When the magic cuahgt up with it, the event unfolded itself on the goblin, leaving it with a burn mark on it's hand. Hmpfh, yogamei blurted as the goblin crawled away and walked after it, curb stoping it and ending the battle.

Xoia shook himself from thought, and looking up. Not much time had passed, but it felt like he had been sitting there for a long time. He grabbed his plate and took it into the kitchen, setting it down in the sink. He then walked up to his room, looking through his gifts, and memorizeing who each item was from, so he could thank them as expected. He noted a few items with a suprisingly utilitarian nature. There was a dagger, a set of fine traveling clothes, and a small pouch full of coins. Naturally, these were from some of his friends, who knew what to get for him. He decided to try them on, and they fit very well. Satisfied, he decided to go talk to Jeeves, the scribe. He walked out of his room, down a flight of stairs, across the large hall, up another flight of stairs, and down another hall, turning left. He knocked on the door, and heard a voice say "come in."

Xoia opened the door, to see a man sitting at a desk. The room was lined with shelves of books and loose parchment. The man was furiously scratching on a piece of paper. "Um, hello?" Xoia asked.
"without looking up from his paper, the man said grouchily "what do you want?"

"I wanted to start up a tradeing caravan, and take it out to Willow City"

The man sighed, and looked up from the desk. "Your father told me that you would most likely do something like this. He said to prepare this for you" the man reached under the desk and grabbed out a small bag. It was filled with gold coins."Now if you don't mind, i have alot of work to do. Its not easy keeping track of all the money spent around here"
And with that, he turned back to his desk and continued writeing, making xoia feel very akward and out of place. After a few seconds, he walked out of the room and closed the door. However, Xoia had gotten what he needed. He turned left, went back down the hall, down a flight of stairs, across the main hall, and back up a flight of stairs. One thing was shure, as long as he lived here he would always stay in shape.

Xoia took out a small book and spent the next few hours with boooks open about the natural resorces. The nature domain had lots of trees and most other resorces. However, due to most of the land being covered and trees, and lower then average amounts of deposits, they had little mineing operations. However, both weapons and metal were very heavy, and would be slower to transport and more expensive. Enchanted weapons were an idea, but the cost would be to much to just get a few. However, Domesticated animals were also less common. Which would mean that they would have less wool for spun clothing. And if he purchesed finer clothing, they would sell easily and quickly. They were also lightweight and fairly inexpensive.
He drew up a list of different types of cloths that he would need, they walked out of his room, out the back entrance, and to the stables. He took a sturdy looking stallion, and rode out of the main gate.

He rode his horse into the city, and soon located a suitable market. First, he tied up his horse outside of a row of shops, and went inside. He browsed the shelves and picked out several samples of cloth. He carried them to the counter and talked about the value of each one. After a few minutes, he said that he would take several crates of each, and haggled fiercely. He was eventually able to get a reasonable price. Satisfied, he walked outside. He looked around for his horse, and didn't see it where he had tied it up. Starting to panick, he looked around and saw it dissapearing into the crowd, being led away by someone. He started running through the crowd, but the markey was busy, and the crowd was dense. Finally giving up, he jumped into the air, and pushed himself up and across with wind, moveing about 20 feet and almost catching up to the horse theif. Landing in a cart of hay, he jumped of the edge and aimed his hand at the theif. Dark rings formed around his arms and legs, causing him to fall foward.

After this display, the crowd gave him some room, and he strode up to the theif.

"And what exactly do you think your doing? I don't believe that this is your horse."

The man on the ground didn't say anything, but just looked sheepishly at Xoia. Actually, he didn't appear to be looking at Xoia, he was looking behind him. Suddenly, he noticed several large shadows behind him. He spun around to see three rather large and rough looking people cracking their fists and drawing daggers. One of the men started to speak.

"Sorry little man, but this just ain't your day"

Xoia stepped back and drew his dagger, even though he didn't know how to use it. His other hand started glowing black, but he didn't want to make the first move. Even if he managed to take two of them down, they looked like the last would be perfetly capable of dealing with him. He didn't know what he would be able to do. He started backing away slowly, and ran into another one of them. He looked up, and the man just grinned at him. they started walking towards him, and soon his back was pressed up against a wall. Desperate, he looked up at the building he was against. The roof wasn't high, and he though he could make it. He crouched low like he was going to try something, and swept his empty hand out, pushing a blast of wind at their feet, knocking the four men down. Then he launched himself up onto the roof with wind. He landed and almost fell off the roof. Barely steading himself, he looked at the three men, who were getting to their feet and dusting themselves off. Suddenly, one of them started to climb the wall. Xoia held out his two hands, and a dark energy started to form in his hands. However, this took several seconds and the men were almost to the roof at this point. Backing up, His foot brushed the edge, and he knew that there was no more room. The first of the men rose over the roof, quickly followed by the other three. As soon as they were standing, Xoia released the energy that he had been building up. A beam errupted from his outstreched hand and he aimed it at the four men in turn, sending them flying off the edge, screaming. Worried, he looked over the edge, at the unmoving men laying on the street underneath. They were covered all over in scratches and deep gashes glowing with a deep darkness.

The woods outside Willow City
Phirron awoke to the sudden stillness of the woods around him. Most would have slept right through this abnormality and not even noticed it in the first place, but most would not have lasted these past five years living alone in the woods. They either would have died by now or returned to the city some fifty miles or so away. Phirron through had learned to survive alone, to be able to read nature to the full extent of the wood elves abilities for it was a small price to pay for the relief he got by being alone. For he has the ability to read minds aka telepathy but he cannot quite control it. It causes a mass overload of info and emotions to flow into his mind when he is among civilization. While he would never say that even in the wild he still had problems with his ability he would say that the thoughts and emotions of the wild are easier to cope with for it is just noises and bare instincts that he can’t quite understand and there for easier to drown out. One of the many things he has learned to recognize in these past five years is that a silent wood is a dangerous wood. So when the wood was suddenly quite he couldn’t help but to wake up and instinctively jump pushing upwards with his mind to give the little boost to be able to reach the lowest branch on a nearby tree to pull him up into it. He did so by using his ability in telekinesis an ability he as only come into about two years previously but is able to control easier than his telepathy which he has had for the past 20 years. He was soon searching for the source of the disturbance thinking that it was an animal hunting nearby but quickly realized that it was something else. He could since a disturbance in the earth due to his heightened senses but before he was able to comprehend what he was feeling he was suddenly thrown from the tree. The ground shook violently taking the woods from still and quite to chaotic in the blink of an eye. Every living creature that could move moved at once running into each other in their attempts to escape from the earthquake the birds and other flying animal having the advantage of flight quickly left their homes.

Shattered Earth
Phirron tried to get up but the fall had left his right ankle broken and he collapsed to the ground from the sudden pain. Quickly he realized he would not be able to flee as the earth again shook violently again with the combined force of the eat shake and an incoming stampede of deer, wolfs, foxes, moose, and even a bear running together as if they had formed a strange pack head straight for him. Momentarily awed by the sight and sheer power of what was happening around him before he managed to quickly crawl to the trunk of the tree I was just flung from reaching it just as the animals pass by where he had been laying. Before he could come to terms with how he nearly died he heard a loud crack followed with intense pain and utter darkness. He awakes to a tranquil stillness fuzzy eyed with a skull splitting headache. Reaching up he felt a large shallow gash crusted with dry blood. Slowly his vision clears revealing a landscape of jagged earth, rocks, trees, and bodies of the unfortunate wild life who could not flee in time. Out of the corner of his eye he saw brief movement and upon farther investigation he discovers a young doe that still managed to live despite being impaled by a branch and with great sadness he ends its life. With a quick prayer to nature for allowing him to live he begins gathering wood for a fire and gets it going. For he knew it was the only protection he is going to have from scavengers looking for an easy meal. He then sets to work skinning and cleaning the doe saving the hide for clothing and cooking and smoking meat for meals over the course of the next few days journey to safer land.

Chance Meeting
As the meat was cooking Phirron went to a nearby creek, which had been the reason he had chosen this area to live at four and a half years previous, and was sullen to see that it was muddy where it had previously been crystal clear. Knowing he had to get some water to both quench his thirst and tend to the wound before it got infected he manage to draw out a little pure water with water little energy he had left. Drinking only a few small sips he gingerly began cleaning the gash in his head where the tree branch fell on his head during the earth wake and could help but wince at the pain. After he cleaned out the wound he slowly made his way back to the fire to check on the meat he rotated it on the spit above the fire. He then went into a meditative state casting out his mind since for the telltale signs of forest life around him. As he expected other than the insects there were few signs of life, but unexpectedly he felt the presence of a single wolf that was obviously in pain nearby. He went to go investigate and upon reaching the spot where the wolf was at he noticed that one of its hind legs was at an odd angle and upon closer look he suspected it was dislocated not broken. Casting out his mind he sent out calming thought while he slowly edged his way closer. When he was about arms distance away he the wolf growled but made no move to stop his approach so he took a few more steps and slowly lowered himself to the ground. Reaching out he gently laid his hand one the dislocated joint. His hairs standing on end knowing that what he was about to do was very dangerous he set about resetting the leg with the help of his mind wince has the wolf yelped out in pain. Just as he finished the wolf was suddenly in his face growling.

Parting Ways
Having the wolf directly in his face growling caused Phirron to both freeze up not daring to move and made it where he noticed a peculiar black star shaped patch between the wolf’s eyes. Phirron then closes his eyes in concentration and starts (with a lot of effort) sending calming thoughts towards the wolf. Whether or not the thought worked the wolf growled just once more before turning tail and running off to find its pack. After several more minutes he opened his eyes and let out a long breath releasing he must have been holding it in throughout the whole ordeal. Then the wind shifted directions carrying with it the scent of burnt meat. Sighing he walks over to the fire and removes the meat grimacing at the thought of eating it but knowing he must for there was no other source of meat or any other source of food nearby. So he took a couple bites before getting up to get a drink from the creek, which had cleared up some but still needed to have a little mud filtered out, to wash the taste of charred flesh from his mouth. Next he started to cut the meat into strips to be packed away for the trip knowing that at most the meat would last for two days before going rancid hoping that would be enough time to find another source of food. After a handful of minutes he had the meat cut and packed and was dousing the fire as the sun peeked above the horizon. Thus his jorney to find a new home in the forest began.

Traveling
Phirron starts following the creek as best he can through rough and jagged terrain filled with debris from the earthquake. Having lost his water pouch during the earthquake it would be his only source of water till he could make a new one. Also through his time in the woods he has learned that food often is as far away as the creek plants thrive on its banks and animals need to drink water from it. But as he moves slowly across the harsh terrain he see no hide nor tail of any animal and almost all the plants are gone buried under debris or dying. A light depression takes hold of him as he walks alone through the waist land of the forest that had been his home for so long. Laughing at how it paralleled with his live before isolation. Growing up happy and worry free with no magical abilities, which should have tipped him off for his family was one gifted with magic and the longer one didn’t show signs of magic the more potent and life changing their magic is in his family. He had been warned but he had ignored those warnings hoping to be like his great great great grandfather who had been magicless. Hoping that he could fade into the background and be ignored he didn’t want to be a prodigy of magic he didn’t want to be seen as superior in any form. But alas fate is a gruel mistress indeed who felt like proving to him that he couldn’t run from his destiny…fore he is the tenth generation of his family….

Panicking, he hastily climbed down the side of the building. He ran to his horse, but looked behind him, hearing a loud commotion. It sounded like soldiers, comeing towards the area. He quickly mounted his horse and rode off, toward the manor grounds. He rode into the stables, left his horse there, walked inside to his room, and shut the door.

Prophecies
Long ago at the beginning of his lineage there was a prophesy made which stated that the first son and daughter of the tenth generation of his family would be powerful and would save their family, or doom their family. He and his twin sister are the prophesied tenth generation, his sister has always wanted to play her role in the prophesy…..he hadn’t and still doesn’t in part him leaving to train his abilities in friendlier surroundings was a truth, but the main reason was he was running away from his family, his life, his responsibilities, and most of all the prophesy. He doesn’t want any of it he doesn’t care about his family even. He just wants a nice quite simple life, a life that he has never had growing up and would lose if he ever returned home. For the most part his life out in the wild has been calm and peaceful with just the occasional conflict with a pack of wolfs and a bear or to, and now this earthquake. He curses loudly as a rock slips underneath his wait causing him to take an unwanted bath it the icy creek.
