Race: Human/Phoenix (more on that in a minute)

Personality: Cheerful, intelligent, at times a bookworm, honorable, quiet when he doesn't know you or doesn't like you but a chatterbox if he does, exudes an outer appearance of complete and utter haplessness but is actually a very solemn and deep thinker, uses outer facade to hide, perhaps even from himself, that he's very afraid--of the responsibility placed on him and what what he is means.

Description: 5'11", light brown skin, deep emerald eyes, long shoulder-length curly hair, typically wears a tunic and breeches, usually in earthy colors and knee high, turn-down, brown leather boots. Carries a dark brown leather pack endowed with magical properties that allow him to carry very large objects and a myriad of tools that was a memento of his missing mother.

Skills/Weapons: Carries a longsword belted at the waist, a boot knife, and a few knives hidden up his short sleeves. Has herbal knowledge and advanced first aid skills for both humans and animals. Has advanced tracking and survival skills, and is a skilled blacksmith as he was raised around a smithy by his grandfather. Has a powerful, beautiful singing voice with magical properties that can both charm, heal, and if focused be used as a weapon. Due to being an incarnation of a powerful creature, has powerful magic at his disposal that grants him great ability with all magics, but especially fire. Is an elemental and fire will heed his commands and heal him. Being an incarnation also has enhanced him physically, granting him enhanced strength, endurance, agility, and senses, a photographic memory, regeneration, unbreakable bones, as well as empathy bordering on telepathy. Expertly trained in hand-to-hand combat and swordplay, as well as fusing magic into his weapons. Has the ability to summon talons that manifest as flaming talons around his hands that can be solidified into a solid gold material that are as sharp and as long as he wishes, though he can only lengthen them up to a certain point before it starts taxing him. Has a natural affinity to animals and magical creatures; they flock to him and will give him aid...unless he's hunting for meat, then they know to scatter. Although, since his powers manifested, he's had no need to eat or drink.

Background Info: Up until he was 12, he grew up in a small village as a normal boy. A seal placed on him when he was a baby kept his powers hidden even from him, though was too powerful to be completely contained and manifested in the form of his photographic memory, slight healing magic, never getting sick, recovering quickly from injuries, and animals having a natural fondness for him. Other than that he was as normal as could be. He was raised by his grandfather Aedus Flynn, who, though he kept it hidden from everyone, was a retired Sword Mage--a highly powerful and revered Sword Mage of the highest order. Having never really raised kids, he mostly trained Aedon as an apprentice and warrior, preparing him for battles he knew he would have to fight in the future. At 12, his village was attacked by the forces his mother had sought to hide him from: a powerful conqueror named Almerich. It was purely chance, one of his recon forces passed through and ransacked the village. Aedon was run through and it caused the seal on his powers to awaken.

This suddenly thrust him into a world with an age-long rift between humans and magical beings as well as revealed to him the true nature of his birth: His mother was the queen of a warrior people, his father a desert prince. His true name is Aedon Audron, after his mother, Leandra Audron, and though Aedus isn't truly his grandfather, he was the closest thing Leandra had for a father. Almerich had somehow known about the boy even before his birth and had attempted to make the boy his. Leandra was a powerful warrior and a Sword Mage trained by Aedus himself, but Almerich had sheer numbers to throw at her and she was being worn down. It was compounded by Aedon's powers already manifesting themselves in speeding up his development phenomenally. Using a powerful seal, she sealed away his powers and managed to spirit him away to the village of Aerton in the continent Eirnn where Aedus had retired. He promised to look after the boy and allow him to grow up as Leandra felt a normal boy should.

The power that Aedon conceals is that of a Phoenix. They were a race of fire birds that acted as guardians to help keep order in the world. One of the last few of its kind, Blaze, merged its dying soul with that of a young boy in his mother's womb, Aedon, thus granting him his powers, knowledge, and ability.

His magic unleashed, he had to make it to the Warrior Guild Pecuts Fortitudo where he could be fully trained to be a Sword Mage. However, the trip there was perilous with him in constant danger from Almerich's forces sent to capture him, he was captured by a nation that used magical beings as slaves, and he was made to finally confront Almerich, narrowly defeating him, before he made it there. There he is currently being trained as a Sword Mage.
