Age: 20

Race: Alikai (a race of elven like creatures with healing magic and feathery wings)

Height: 5'3"

Appearance: Waist long fiery red hair that she usually keeps tied back at the base of her neck, emerald-green eyes, fair creamy skin, sometimes can be seen with large feathery wings, but she can make them disappear at will. Wears a golden heart shaped pendant around her neck. When Silki takes over, Rika's eyes change from green to ice blue, other than that, there's no real noticeable change.

Weapons/Magic/Skills: Being of the Alikai race, she has healing magic. She can heal most wounds, although magic inflicted wounds are much more harder and take a lot more time. She can regenerate lost limbs depending on how much time has gone by after someone had lost a limb, it usually has to be pretty quick. She can also revive people who have died, but again, she has to get to the fallen victim a.s.a.p, or it won't work. Silki is her only weapon - a second soul housed in her body that holds the knowledge of the most powerful book of magic - The Book of Arcana. (more on that in a moment)

Personality: Rika is kind, and caring. She loves to help anyone in need. She is very shy, and can get her feelings hurt easily. She's not very confident in herself, and she does not like confrontations. She has a hard time standing up for herself when anyone offends her. Silki on the other hand, is the exact opposite of Rika. She will tell offenders off, and is rather out going, although she is strict serious and when something needs to be done, she won't allow herself, or Rika to get distracted by anything or anyone. She is very protective of Rika, and unless there's something very important needing to be done, said, or heard, or Rka's well being is threatened, she remains within Rika's conscious.

The Book of Arcana - A large, leatherbound, thick book of powerful spells collected from different worlds by the planeswalkers of the universe (a planeswalker is a powerful magic user who can use their magic to walk the astral planes to different worlds). The planeswalkers traveled the world collecting powerful spells and writing them into the book they named The Book of Arcana. Eventually, evil magi attempted to get their hands on the book, and the planeswalkers hid it somewhere they believed it would be safe...somewhere in Rika's world. It ended up being threatened there as well, and so the magicians who thrived to keep the book out of the hands of evil thought up of a way they could keep evil from every getting to it. One of the magi of the white order (the good mages), obliged to sacrifice herself as part of the spell. Her name was Silki. The other mages of her order extracted her soul from her body and placed it into the book. In essence, she became the book itself, and barred anyone with an evil heart from reading it. If one with an evil heart would open the book, they would only see blank pages. The book could not be burned, or destroyed in any way due to the protection upon it. An evil sorcerer named Raul found a way to get around the enchantment placed upon the book . He found out about the magical spell placed upon it, and he thought that if he found someone with a pure heart who could read the book, they could copy everything down for him. He impregnated one of his female slaves, who gave birth to Rika...

Backstory: Rika was raised by Raul, and did not know who her mother was, but was told she died giving birth to Rika (lies!). He was an exceptional father to her, and never mistreated her or anyone else (within her sights). When she came of age and was able to read and write, Raul pulled out a giant book labeled "The Book of Arcana". He told her that she must copy every page of the book because it would teach her all she needed to know about magic, writing, and reading. Months after she started copying the book, she was shocked to discover who her father really was and that she had been lying to her all her life. It was the book who told her so. Rika didn't believe it at first, but being curious, she snuck out of bed one night, and followed her father to a room he went to quite often. There, hidden from view, she watched as her father did horrible things to other women. Frightened, and feeling betrayed, Rika asked the book what she should do. The book, who introduced itself as Silki, said that there was a spell within the book that would extract all the knowledge from the book into Rika. Rika found the spell and quickly preformed it. Silki was now a part of Rika, and flipping through the Book of Arcana, she found that the pages were empty, even to her. She ran away that night. After a week of fleeing, she was exhausted, and was found by a boy not much older than her, Ryle. They became friends and along with Silki, Ryle became one of her protectors. He was an werewolf outcast, and devoted his life to Rika after discovering that she was being hunted by evil men.

Years passed, and Rika moved from one town to the next constantly keeping herself out of Raul's grasp. She met others who joined her and Ryle and became her guardians as well - a wizard named Navari, and Wright, the ghost boy who lived with her. And then there was Avildar. She and Avildar came to fall in love with each other. Things were wonderful until Raul and his minions finally caught up with them. A battle took place between Raul and his minions, and Rika and her guardians, but unfortunately, the guardians were no match for the evil sorcerers. One by one, Rika watched as her friends died. Seeing no hope, and worried for her, as well as Rika's safety, Silki cast the only spell she could think to cast, one that she thought of casting many times, but could not bare the thought of taking Rika out of her world - she cast a spell which opened a portal to the astral planes where Rika could go safely to another world. Rika's last glimpse of her world was Avildar fighting with all his might to protect her.

Now, Rika finds herself in a new world. She knows not if her beloved Avildar is dead or alive, and she is saddened by the loss of the friends she did see die, and prays that Avildar did not meet the same fate. She wonders if she is finally free of being hunted, or will Raul find a way to travel the astral planes as well and find her again? Only time will tell. For now, she tries to adapt to her new surroundings.
