Swords&Cross Boarding school

In a world run by mortals and the like theres no place for anyone who falls just between the imaginable and what is only legend. It's not safe for the young of spiritual and mythical creatures. They are driven to hiding in large cities and small villiages hoping to not be found. That was before Sword and Cross Boarding School came around. A place to go to school and be safe from the outside world. To the outside world it looks to harbor all the strange and mentally insane youth of society. To the students that live there its a place to finally be normal.

Small background: As a kid growing up in Pittsburgh, you learned to love the city. After getting kicked out of every school i was ever put into, something always went wrong. Whether it be fires, floods, school wide earthquakes, or even the meatballs exploding on the cafeteria ladies, it was always my fault. This time, we got a letter in the mail "Join us at Swords&Cross Boarding School!" it said, "The best time you'll ever have!" and so, my parents shipped me up to Massachusetts.

Small Background: Saphyre grew up with a secret she had a lot of trouble concealing. She was adopted by a human family when she was only four years old as part of a plan to aquaint her with the human world. She would learn every lesson as human children do. As she grew older, she had trouble that ranged in levels of abnormalcy and eventually was told to pack her bags by her parents. They could see no other option for thier odd potentially gifted daughter.

Small Background: An obsession with Chaos that was likely derived from her name (being the name of the Greek Chaos Goddess), Eris a crafty young lady with a clever mind and worlds of mal-intent. Her obsession is more a fascination. She actually acts in very orderly manner but Chaos constantly consumes her mind. As another trait she'd taken up from her name, she seems to hold that her favorite food is apples (reminiscent of the Goddess's Apple of Chaos and Discord). Eris was eventually sent away when it was made a strong note that she was actually incredibly deadly given her talents and instabilities. Using her literally hypnotic beauty, she'd nearly killed about five people, convinced that they would survive being hit...by a train.

Cover Diagnosis: Aside from being mildly sadistic, Eris is obsessed with Discord and is schizophrenic. This accompanies a compulsive need to be in charge though isn't quite megalomania. Draws a fond attraction to madness, that being an obsession with insanity itself.


Personality: Obsessed with Chaos, constantly consults "Them" for advice or aid, Acts highly polite and sophisticated (which is largely a front for her twisted, and occasionally downright evil demeanor), always calm.

Age: Unknown, though has been around for at least a millenium

He is also occasionly seen wearing a tweed suit with a white buttoned shirt underneath and a red clip on tie, when he feels he should make an effort to dress up, usually at important meetings and school events. When disguising himself in human form, he wears an enhcnated ring which makes him appear as a normal white haired middle aged old man with bad teeth, and usually wears his suit when he knows there will be non magic folk around.
What you are: Folklore phantom, originated from the Isle of Man.
Small Background: Not much is known about Jimmy, other than the tales of old. Apparently he was once a giant pig used as a steed by a stone throwing giant, though most say he was orginally a mere man who enjoyed throwing stones himself, aparrently his faivroute target was his wife, who didn't wait around to leave her idiotic and childish husband. Either way, Jimmy Squarefoot was born from this, somehow changing to his pig headed form and began wandering the Isle of Man peacefully.
That was until, one day, for no apparent reason, he thought to himself; You know what? I'm sick of this whole wandering around, time to get something worth doing., and left his homeland. Somehow, he ended up at Sword & Cross Boarding School, and managed to end up as a teacher there, though only usually as a subsitute, and with the minor permenant position of teaching mythology, legend studies, and folklore, mostly down to it being an unpopular optional subject. He also ended up with the job as the schools janitor and cleaner.
Personality: Jimmy is rather soft spoken and peaceful despite his old history, and treates everyone in a kind and dignified manner, though has a sore spot for those who run in the hallways and talk in class, squealing at them in frustration to avoid doing it again as it grates on his nerves immensely. He also is terrified by anyone who eats ham, bacon, pork or any other pig meat, usually fleeing in terror from them in moments, and has an odd habit of chucking any stone he glances at uncontrolably. He dislikes disguisng himself as a human in front of mortals due to previously before coming to the Swords & Cross he could wander freely in his true form and considers it dishonest.

Hey, i really like this idea, but can you also have a human form. The parents of these kids dont know about all the super natural things. So, covers are needed. also, if your comfortable with using more than one character, would you be up to making a student as well?

Small Background: Early on, Priscilla knew she was not just "some southern belle". She was not going to win any beauty pageants, since that would constitute selling her body. She was not going to just play with dolls, that would be a waste of time. Instead, she says that she is an incarnation of one of God's valkyries, meant to smite the nonbelievers. Her passions, however, also included some... childish oddities, characterized as a tomboy during her life.

Early in public school (for their parents did NOT want her in a "catholic crazyhut"), boys picked on her for wanting to play with them. A quick pinch of their wrists and they quickly relented to her, saying that "She's one crazy girl! CRAZY!" After that, guys just let her play with them, because they proved to be a greater challenge than all the girly girls. Invited to all the war games and such, she was very good at them, leading her army to victory in the yard of the school...

An incident occurred in about grade 4, involving water guns and other heavy water artillery causing all the girls to get "so much mud in their hair, that they had all become brunettes". Resulting in her expulsion, her parents enrolled her in a K-12 private school which cost big cash... and another expulsion put them over the edge. She finally got her wish. Priscilla was sent to a Catholic school, where she was finally at peace with her Lord. Every day was a good day for her in connection with Jesus, and she made sure everyone knew. Soon, her parents grew tired of her zealous talk and sent her to a psychologist, who diagnosed her with insanity. In response, she swung a couple fists at her psychologist, which resulted in her enrollment in Swords&Cross.

Small background: Not too much is actually known about her, since shape shifters don't really... keep their children. Her specific species of shifter does not keep their young, therefore, she was left to the wild and brought up by humans... Her mother was a musician and her father a corporate lackey, who were concerned with her height problems. All across her "education", she was picked on for her height until she realized her magical potential. along with her cunning, her high school was put into social turmoil after multiple possessions and fake confessions about sexual orientation.

Her magical ability evolved into a unique style that was all her own, because she had absolutely no fundamentals, but was so advanced already. Retracing her tracks at the school, she began to learn how to do all the little things properly that made her an absolute superstar at music and morphology.

Name: Heidrun Altiere.

Small Background: She grew up in a family of scientists. They knew that she was not normal and kept her locked up in their laboratory. She stayed in the laboratory and was tested for years before the neighbors became suspicious. Instead of putting her into the foster system they dropped her off at the school. She is very observant and does not know how to interact socially. Some see her as shy, others perceive her as snobby. Her power is telekinesis.

Small Background: Quinn has always been disturbed. While normally quiet and off in the background, Quinn was always dangerous. Though she will seem reserved and to herself, the instant Eris tells her to act, she become a crazed engine of hyperactive violence that is entirely apathetic towards others. Her relationship to Eris isn't entirely known aside from frequently following her around like her shadow.
Cover Diagnosis: Unable to Diagnose. God knows what's wrong with her. Prone to do anything Eris tells her to.

Sure no problem, I just added a human form for the guy in underneath his pic. As for another character, i'll try and cobble one together and put in this space.

Name: Llywelyn Jones
Age: 16
Appearance: When using magic to hide his true form, Llywelyn has rather pale skin, with bright blue eyes, short curly blonde hair, a childish face, and is usually wearing a hooded sweatshirt or t-shirt of his with some picture or writing printed on it, a pair of dark blue denim jeans, and a pair of large dull beige hiking boots and is usually carrying a plain wooden oak staff with a skull carved on it’s top.
When his true form is revealed, he is a completely pale white skeleton with glowing yellow eyes and a silver ring with a small yellow gem imbedded in it on his index finger on his left hand.
What you are: Lich (An undead sorcerer)
Small Background: Llywelyn was the son of a pair of rather odd morticians, who in fact were secretly a pair of necromancers, secretly experimenting on the dead to see if a Lich could be made easily quickly, but came up with a risky solution of using a concoction with a few untested spells to create one from a living subject, though had a high chance of failure. Though this has nothing to do with Llywelyn, who was diagnosed of Night Terrors and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, who was also very lonely due to not having many friends as his parents spent quiet a lot of time with the dead and was considered to creepy to hang out with because of it, despite Llywelyn’s complete lack of intrest in dead people.
Well, it had nothing to do with him, until his parents decided to test the Lick theory out of their own son, believing he would have a higher chance of surviving due to being a descendant of necromancers and with the cruel realisation his screams from Night Terrors would be gone if he didn’t make it, making it much easier for everyone to sleep. Much to their surprise it was a success, placing Llywelyn’s soul inside a staff, but left Llywelyn as a skeleton, much to his dismay, but reassured him everything would be alright and handed him an enchanted ring to hide his true form. It wasn’t long until at his next visit to the psychiatrists he was diagnosed of Paranoia as well, and also a delusional belief that the undead existed, and was shipped off to Sword & Cross Boarding School, much to his parents dismay, upset not only that their son was taken from them, but that their life‘s work was being sent of as well.
Cover Diagnosis: Night Terrors, Paranoia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and delusional belief of the existence of the fictional Undead (Actually Exist).
Personality: Llywelyn Jones is a rather warm, mellow and friendly young man, until his mental conditions kick in and becomes either suspicious of everyone and everything, or worried about everyone and everything, though seems to lessen these quite a bit when he believes someone’s is reliable or trustworthy. He rarely has any good sleep due to his Night Terrors, and therefore spends every night screaming in his sleep.

Small Background: Rich was born to a dysfunctional family, to say the least. His father was a drunk, and his mother died giving birth to his younger brother, Ryan, when Rich was the age of 7. Rich quickly took the role as his brother's shield whenever their father came home angry and drunk. One day, Rich was walking home late from a friends house when he saw a large dog out in the middle of the road. Curious as Rich was, he decided to approach it, finding out only a second too late that this was no large dog, but in fact a small werewolf. He was bitten on his right forearm, but then managed to escape from it, running home to clean his wound. He walked through the front door to find his brother, cornered and wide-eyed with fear from his father, more drunk than usual. Just as his father was about to strike his little brother, Rich felt something flare up inside of him, a foreign, strange power that quickly took over his body. His vision went red, and he lost control over himself. When he came to, he found that his father has been brutally mutilated. He was simply afraid, until he saw that his own brother had been murdered in a similar fashion. He quickly realized that he himself had committed these horrible killings, and ran, crying into the night for what he had done. He eventually heard of this institution, and decided to go there, hoping that maybe he could learn some control over his powers.
