Day 8 - Best Soundtrack
Gonna go with Blaze Union's because it's one of the few that I've been driven to download.
Honourable mentions go to: Breath of Fire IV, Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, Final Fantasy XIII, Xenogears, and Bravely Default (I really enjoyed the demo's music though I haven't gotten to play the actual game yet).

For me I actually enjoyed Lunar Two: Eternal Blue's sound track the best. Second was Lunar Silver Star Story Complete

Day 8: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
To be fair, I never played this game, but I've listened to its soundtrack so many times, I've lost count

Day 9 - Saddest game scene: Final scene of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
- Spoiler:
- This was a no brainer
so backstory: After an experiment with time travel went horribly wrong 10 years prior to the time of the game, Professor Layton lost his sweetheart Claire in a freak blast from the time machine. However, just before the blast, Claire was actually shot 10 years into the future, to the present time of the game.
The bad news is, due to molecular instability, she could not stay in the future for long and she would soon be brought back to the time just before the blast where she will undoubtedly die.
This scene is the 2 saying goodbye

Day 9 - Saddest game scene
Luna's ending on Virtue's Last Reward
Luna's ending on Virtue's Last Reward
- Spoiler:
Luna is the sweetest girl ever and never betrays a single person the entire game. It is so heartbreaking during her ending when she blames herself for allowing the others to die and is then killed because she disobeyed her creator when trying to help out. Sigma is left with nothing but hers and the others' dead bodies.

Day 10: Best Gameplay.
This is a tough one. I generally HATE fighting and hate level grinding. That being said one of my favorite ones started out to be the one I complained about the most. The Last Remnant. I had a steep learning curve with this, but once I got it I LOVED IT.
The close second was Valkyria Chronicles. I loved Sniper. Marina you ROCK!!

Day 10 - Best gameplay: The World Ends With You
TWEWY was a cool game because during combat you're actually fighting two different battles on both the top and bottom DS screen with two different characters. It's super fun and super hectic.

Ghost Trick! You proceed by possessing random objects and making them move. It's like solving puzzles but you gotta have timing too. It's super fun!
I also really enjoyed Tales of Xillia's gameplay.

Day 10 - Best gameplay: Sonic Generations
Super fast and smooth gameplay. It really showed what the modern day Sonic is capable of and it's amazing!

Day 10: The Stanley Parable
The interaction between the player and the narrative and how you can completely mess with it is hilarious and a breath of novelty when there's so many linear action games and first person shooters

Re: 30 Days of Gaming
Day 8 - Best soundtrack
Being a lover of a lot of game music... I must say this is really hard.... but if I had to pick it would be a big tie between 2.
Xenosaga Soundtrack(all of them together, though III had most of my favorites =))
Chrono Cross (Just because the music of this soundtrack was so wonderful and well made, I remember listening to it over and over again)
Day 9 - Saddest game scene
I know I bring it back a lot, but again xenosaga, III to be exact. For those who played here's a spoiler :
- Spoiler:
- The whole ending of xenosaga made me so emotive and like was so heavy to take, that I think it was one of the saddess I can remember in the games I played. I mean most games have an happy ending, this one had a sort of half half ending. But still the characters that were lost were dear to me and I was very very sad =(.
Day 10 - Best gameplay
Oh boy this is again, VERY hard xD.... But considering I would never be able to pick a single rpg out of all of those I played that had the best gameplay ever... I think I'll just go with Zelda in general, because let's not hide it, Zelda gameplay is always fun =).
Day 11 - Gaming system of choice
Um.... that is hard as well, but if I had to pick between the current last gen and new gen consoles it would be between Ps3 annnd 3DS.
3Ds
Ps3

Day 11 Gaming system of choice. Playstation consoles (yes all of them). Playstation 1 was the first game system I owned personally. Mike did own a Sega Genesis. I have owned a N64 and currently have a 360 and Wii in addition to the PS 2 & 3 (original fat boy).

Day 11 - Gaming system of choice: Gamecube
Yeah I'm a bit of an oddball here. but i have awesome memories with the gamecube. The gamecube controller is also my favorite controller for a console, which is probably why i liked it so much.

Day 12 - A game everyone should play: I Wanna Be The Guy
HAHA! I'm totally going a 180 with this one. I want everyone to play this game not because its super good, but because its excruciatingly difficult. And i love watching people rage :D

Re: 30 Days of Gaming
Day 12 - A game everyone should play: Spec Ops: The Line
No spoilers below, just excessive rambling.
- Spoiler:
- YES! I LOVE talking about this game. If there was one game I could physically force every frat boy in the world to play, this would be it. Heck even if you're not a fan of shooters, it's such a brilliant subversion of and critique of the genre - and of games in general - that it'd be worth playing.
Spec Ops is best played blind, so I don't want to say much about the plot itself, but I love it because where other shooters glorify combat and fighting as inherently heroic, Spec Ops questions that idea, as well as focusing on how soldiers themselves are affected by the strain of combat. The decision making mechanic in the game never presents an obvious 'right' choice or 'good' path to follow, and opportunities for heroism are in short supply.
Spec Ops is not necessarily a 'fun' game. It's a difficult game. It's a painful game. It's a disturbing game. But it's a really important game and an incredibly good game. It's only like 20 dollars on Steam, seriously, give it a shot.
(Also the use of color in this game is pretty cool but I should really stop or I'll write a whole freaking essay on this game)

Day 12 - A game everyone should play
The serie of Ys, because of epic boss fights and a gameplay that is very fun. The story is usually basic enough, except for some of the latest ones. For those who are interested there are a few titles on steam =).

Day 12: Game that everyone should play.
Old school: Phantasmagoria - I cannot say enough about this PC game. I don't know if it can be emulated, but I heart this game so much.
Newer: Ar Tonelico 1 and 2: This is a really fun game with replayability and proof that graphics don't make a game.

Saddest Game Scene
I cried the first time I played this…just sayin…
Best Gameplay:
Of all the games I have played this game has the best gameplay that I ever played. Even the remakes of it stand true and it is just amazing… I still play this game.
Gaming system of choice
Playstation two and in hand held the 3DS. I just loved these the best but I had a SNES, a gamecube, a ps1, a ps2, an original Gameboy, a Gameboy color, in fact… there’s not a hand held by Nintendo that I haven’t had…just sayin…, we have a WII and when I was younger we had a Sega Genesis.

^ YES DEFINITELY TALES OF SYMPHONIA
Day 12 - A Game Everyone Should Play
Gonna be honest, I've only played the demo and a little bit of the full game so far, but Bravely Default is awesome in my limited experience and has had nothing but top reviews. It's like old school Final Fantasy with good writing, badass music, and beautiful graphics!

Day 13 - A Game You’ve Played More Than Five Times
Golden Sun: The Lost Age is the game that I measure all my obsessions by. I lost count of the times I've played through this game at around seven or eight.
