Keltans of Aria

Background: Centuries before modern time in Aria, a nomadic people settled on the island, naming it Kelt and themselves Keltan. Wars had wracked their homeland, destroying it. Seeking to leave that behind, they came to the island seeking refuge and shelter. There, they encountered the Fire Spirit of Aria. Paying homage, they sought a boon to live here and the Fire Spirit was pleased. He entered into a pact with them, one that granted them several gifts that henceforth changed how they developed. Firstly, every born Keltan possessed the power of Force Flame; second, they were immune to the Force they wielded; and third, they were each granted a companion animal, the Fire Spirit's totem animal the wolf. This last one granted them half the power of the fire wolves, greatly increasing their senses and overall physical power. Being immune to their own Force, they developed fighting systems designed to deal with Force powers without resorting to using their own Force. As such, they became renown for their fighting prowess, able to take down UU1s with martial skill alone. Children were begun in this teaching almost as soon as they could walk, with coming of age ceremonies involving them having to face and defeat a UU1. Over time, Keltans took outlander spouses, and some people came to live with them, as well, and soon Keltans were born that had Force Powers other than Flame. The Fire Spirit's protection seemed to extend to them, granting them immunity to their Force, and the tradition lived on.

Additional Information: Their fighting style relies heavily on "Heart of the Fist." Reading the feelings and intentions of your opponent through interaction of their fighting. Though some regard this as hokum, Keltans remain undefeated in martial valor and are exceptionally talented at picking out those with evil intentions.
