The Exemplar: World's Greatest Champions

A little while ago, the Exemplar, a team of the World's Greatest Champions, disbanded after an attack by the bloodthirsty society of super villains, The Nefaria. The Exemplar won but not without great cost. The security liaison, my father, Justin Powers was killed, saving me and the team from a surprise advance against us when we thought the enemy was defeated. There are only three teams out there with the muscle and gusto to take on Earth Shattering threats like Zoa, Deadwave, and Sovereign. But the other two have gone AWOL. The world sorely needs an Exemplar. It needs it's GREATEST heroes. Unfortunately I'm having trouble getting those heroes back. So it looks like those of us here are going on a recruitment drive.

History

Gosalyn has lived alone with her mother since her father, a police officer, died on the line of duty when she was seven. Her mother worked long hours to keep her and her young daughter afloat, and so Gosalyn learned how to take care of herself and the house when she was still only a child.

Her big passion, however, had always been science and engineering. She didn’t just excel in it, she blew all her classmates out of the water, and when she was 12 she started saving up and planning for her masterpiece – her combat suit.

But the suit was only a hobby to her, until an encounter that left her mentor Roddy hospitalized and herself badly injured convinced her otherwise. She had experienced being a victim – now she was determined that no one else have to suffer through that.

Superhuman Physiology - Leonard's physical attributes have all been significantly enhanced though require regular treatments to maintain that level of power.  His strength output allows him to bench roughly 40-50 tons.  On the ground his top speed is around 60 miles per hour.  As a general rule, Coir can take about the same amount of damage that his strength allows him to deal and he heals somewhat faster than the average person.  His senses are, for the most part, all of optimal condition.

Flight - Coir can propel himself through the air at Supersonic Speeds.

Produces poison within the fluids of his body and can manufacture a variety of toxins within himself. He possesses slightly increased physical capabilities, but nothing inherently superhuman. A skilled martial artist and a gold medal gymnast, outside of his ability to create toxins he possesses no obviously 'superhuman' traits. Photographic memory, extremely skilled with computers and electronic devices

A clawshot that attaches to his forearm and wrist that compensates for his lack of flight by allowing him to grapple onto objects and buildings and swing from them, like a hook.  
'The stinger', claw like attachments to his fingers that allow him to inject his enemies with his 'venom' without having to bite them, which is his only other method of injecting opponents.

Personality: Alex is usually the first one people come to when they have a problem, and he's completely fine with that. In fact, he prides himself in it. Quiet and wise- Alex tries to be a mentor to his group of rowdy friends, trying to add a sense of stabiblity to their flighty, and somewhat daredevil lifestyles. He, himself, does not follow his own advice and constantly puts himself in dangerous situations. He has a keen and often appreciated sense of humor, despite his somewhat serious and 'get it done' demeanor the rest of the time.

History 
Alex, despite his somewhat odd disposition, had a fairly normal childhood. His father was in a pileup accident when he was four, forcing him into a coma- his mother remarrying two years later. Other than that, his family was fairly normal. His social life, however was somewhat stunted- until he was ten. He then met a small pod of equally as odd children- they all quickly became inseperable. It wasn't until they all began discovering odd 'talents' that they officially decided to become a group- 'The Midnight Crew'. While not awfully organized, they were a fairly effective team. It wasn't until their leader and second in command went missing within a month of each other that their usual romps began to wind down. 


They still existed, however, their small group of four continuing to fight minor crime. However, for the most part they moved on, Alex going off to college, and even finding a relatively stable life- he still does enjoy the superhero business, and is quick to respond when someone sounds the alarm.
