Halloween Paradise.

You wake up in the morning and find a strange invite on the inside of your door


When you open your door, you will see a man in a white uniform waiting outside. "Good Day, we have been waiting for you. Now if you just pack your essentials, I will make sure you get to the Halloween Paradise. Don't worry we have cleared this with your job and other responsibilities. You cannot take no for an answer." The man smiles at you.

Once you are ready to go, you are escorted to a white limousine with tinted windows. You are driven to a private airfield. There you meet up with the others. There is only one plane visible, an Airbus A380.

I'm uncertain as to what I've gotten myself into when I reach the airport. Everything is still foreign, and to be honest, I'm still not sure if I've just been roped into a trafficking or money scam. With a cringe, I slowly get out of the car and walk up towards the small plane, wondering what will come next.

My bags, which I threw together hastily, are crammed into three bags and I quickly gather them while I subconsciously hope that I brought everything that I'll need. Is this a serial killer camp? Would those exist? I don't get far with my bags, though. Someone is already coming to help me carry them. I take a last look at the limo before I take out my phone to take a picture...I'm gonna miss that part, for sure.

As short staffed as we were, I was surprised that my job would even let me go for a month. They couldn't spare anyone to be gone right now on even a week long vacation, much less a month. I quickly put my things in a suit case that belonged to my sister that I kept for her. She would miss me and I wouldn't be able to contact her right away to let her know where I was. hopefully I could call her when I got to this Halloween paradise place.

The limo pulled up and let me out. There were two others there standing as well as a plane. That was all. I get out as well as my luggage and wonder if they are going to the same place I was.Well they had too, there were no other planes around.

spectral looks over the main building at the new staff. She loves the new season and is happy that Minrai has given her a vacation from Halloween City. Life there has been a bit boring as of late. By boring she mean redundant, but she digresses. “I know you have all read the memo I sent you. The guests are currently at the airport. It is a small crowd this time. Only three guests at the moment, but that may change.

She points at Aedus’s ghost. “You will be assigned to building 1.” She points at Quote’s ghost. “You will be assigned to building 2. I saved the best for last, Cerbie you are assigned to building 3. I hope you all have fun with your guests, they seem like a diverse bunch.

~~~~~~~ At the airport ~~~~~~

The door opens and the stars go down, once they are secure a beautiful female begins to walk out. “It is nice to see you here. I am your pilot Terresa. I love flights for the boss. You guys are going to have such a fun time. I do apologize the internet services are not working on the flight. This is going to be a vacation from your lives. The hotel will not have internet or cell service either. Now please come aboard and the staff will show you around.” She turns around and goes back up the stairs.

Inside the aircraft is unlike any aircraft. Instead of the rows of seats are couches and a bar. There are a few ‘staff’ to attend to their needs. “Hello everyone, I am Jamison the lead attendant. Let me give you the tour. The first floor is the living area. Here you have the living room, a full service open bar. Bathrooms are through the frosted glass there are full soaking tubs and showers fully stocked as well. Up the stairs is the sleeping quarters, if needed. Each of you have your own room. Now we request that you grab a drink and find a seat, so we can take off.”

Aedus blinks its red eyes, smiling politely and quietly in its own way. Although it has no visible mouth, it is pleased by the assignment, regardless. Having an entire building to play wit will be...delightful. Regardless of what guest he will be staying with, this vacation is guaranteed to be fun.

As I hear that there will be no cell service, I immediately become more suspicious of this entire affair. Is this secretly some laboratory island, like the Island of Dr. Moreau? Perhaps the Umbrella Corporation inhabits the place where we are headed...

Shrugging it off, I text my family and friends, letting them know where I am and where I'm going. I take a picture of the plan and it's information, as well as tell them the name of the island where I'm headed. Just in case. One can never be too careful.

I finally get onto the plane and pay close attention to the tour. They are offering drinks and have fancy bathrooms, so...I'm not going to complain. I'm incredibly nervous about all of these strangers, though, so...I don't really say anything, other than to thank the assistant for the tour before I take a drink that looks appealing and then take my seat in the farthest back of the plane.

"I swear these pilots have no idea what they're doing... The fact that all of their passengers are trembling with stupid and unnecessary fear should be an indication that their hospitality obviously isn't up to standard." I would never say those words out loud, but everyone vents their frustration differently.

I've heard people muttering to themselves as though this is some set-up. People must be paranoid nowadays. I guess my occupation helps me resist fear in general. I face danger everyday. Oh, how I'd love to take some of these people on a jet flight...

spectral looks up as Two other ghosts walks in. "Oh I was expecting you. Ace you will be assigned to building 4 and Soudelor you will be in 5. Now go get ready the people should be here shortly.

It does not take long before the plane lands. Although time is hard to discern in the airplane. If anyone would look at their phones, the time was frozen at when the plane lifted off. The GPS is not working and neither is the internet.

When the people exit the plane, they will see a tropical island. There is a huge main builing and smaller hut like building connected by a bridge over the water.

spectral is standing there looking like and elegant female hostess. She is wearing a white dress against her sunkissed tanned skin and brown hair blowing in the wind. "Welcome visitors. We've been expecting you. I am glad to see that you are here. Now as you can see our staff is taking your items to your rooms. But please come to the main building and we will get you checked in."

((OOC: You can do stuff on the plane if you want, but please end up at the resort.))

I wonder how some of my students will take not having an exam today...Ahh they'll just blow it off until the next one. I sure hope whoever these people are handle things with the principal, 'cause I can't afford to lose this job...as much as it kills me."

I tried distracting myself by sinking deeper into the soft couch that cradled my back for the whole flight. It felt light I was sitting more luxuriously than First Class, Air Force One, or those exaggerated prototype cabins designed to accommodate the world's wealthiest. The fact that I was chosen to take part in such a trip unsettled me, but that nervousness was buried under the comfort of upholstered leather and one too many drinks. I'd deal with the consequences once I got off the plane.

After landing, I was taken aback by the beauty of the near-white beaches and shimmering waters around us. I and a handful of others had won the lottery of lotteries as far as I was concerned. Torn between exploring the island or the resort, I forced myself to enter the main building to check myself in. My luggage will probably get carried to my room before I get there.

I sit upon the plan, but almost immediately fall asleep. Planes have a way of making me exhausted. However, I'm woken by the staff and it feels as though only a few seconds have passed. Looking down at my watch, the time seems not to have changed. I guess that it really has only been a few minutes.

However, the stewardess tells me that we've landed and I raise an eyebrow with skepticism. Looking out my window, I find that we have indeed landed. My watch must be broken....what a piece of shit. I hate watches. Pulling the watch off, I chunk it into my trash bag and hand it over to the lady before I step away from the plane.

The resort looks...pretty cool, I guess. Will they be getting my bags, or do I need to do that? I'm not sure...

Cerberus giggled at spectral. "Thanks for saving me the best. The middle one is always the one to go for." It said as it flaird out in its area.

Cerberus looked over its cabin and grinned a wolfish grin. Tonight it would be dining on the pranks and scares that it likes to do.

I had taken the tour of the plane and taken my seat. This part I wasn't afraid of. It was where I was going that intrigued me most of all. I sat and looked out the window the whole trip.

We landed and I exited out of the plane. There was a very beautiful lady telling us about our stay. They then walked into the main lobby of a building to get them settled in.

Soudelor cackled as he scaled the walls and ceilings toward his assigned building. Nothing beats watching your prey from above, watching them obliviously go about their business. Then you swoop in for the kill, seeing the shock in their faces turn to dread, followed by despair. It never gets old.

A ghostly woman approached the group and I from seemingly nowhere. She appeared in my peripheral vision, but the angle at which she approached us was a bit unusual, given the layout of the area. I shrugged, eager to check out where I would be staying for who knows how long. The lady appeared nice enough; she wore a warm smile that coaxed us into getting comfortable. As far as I knew, there wasn't reason to panic, yet, so I politely took my keys. The hotel sure wasn't as high-tech as most, but the ambiance made up for it. Since someone from staff was right in front of them, I figured now would be the best chance to ask about luggage.

"Excuse me, I was wondering if our bags would be taken to our rooms for us. I can certainly understand if the responsibility is left up to us, but this place is so cozy I'd like to start unpacking right away."

I went about the house setting up my illusions and traps for my guest soon to arrive. Kind of wish I had gotten a bit sooner notice. I have big plans for my house guest. Luckily I'm not too bad at getting these things up fast. Just learning all the places in here I could use in the span of time... SO MANY POSSIBLITIES!! ^w^
I was tempted to listen in and see which one my guest was this time, but then I still have so much to do.... I like surprises anyway. Hmmm.... I really hope 30 pit traps isn't too much... I don't want to overdo it and throw off the scare factor... Well I have varied them up with different things IN the pits, at least, so I think we should be good...
....I really hope I get an arachnophobe though... always fun.... ALWAYS...

"Well I suppose I should go check on me room, should I?" Jeff thought to himself for a bit until hearing the words "if you want drinks now the lounge is always open." At this he thought, "Well, why not make the best o' mah getaway? A few drinks first will get me goin' again after me long ride here..." So he headed for the bar, the environment was almost more welcoming to him. Jeff never drank on the job; too many lives at stake there. But he definitely was not against having a good time outside of work, of course which to him was sitting around after work, throwing a few drinks back, and telling stories of his grand adventures at sea. At least the way he saw them. "Well, er'ybody gots their owwwn take," he would say to his mates, quite frequently, as they liked to call him out. That's what they did to each other all the time though... They were all so full of shit it was a wonder their boats stayed afloat...
