If you are interested in "dressing up" on our forum for Halloween, this is the opportunity for changing not only your avatar and signature, but also your username.

Although this town looks perfectly normal (during the day), it is rumored to have mysterious, magical things going on during the season of Halloween! This place has been known to be haunted, to be cursed, and to consist of many things that are not human at all! Simply fill out the Application below and post it here and our Housing Representative will determine if you can live in our City with us!

Note that if your character is not a tourist/newcomer and already lives here, they aren't merely "dressing up," but have had their costume become reality due to living in Halloween City for so long. This side affect of visiting the City is a secret from Newcomers!

If you are a newcomer/tourist, however, you may come dressed up, and your costume will only become reality at night, which your character will not expect or have any prior knowledge of its occurrence!

Note that anyone who is already a resident is fully aware of what occurs at night and takes part in it, as well as they may or may not know staff member characters. If you are a newcomer just moving in, you are aware of only the rumors of this City, but not the reality of it. You are fully human and have never transformed into anything else at this point.

Back Story: How did you character come to find Halloween City and what is his/her past?

Name: Acerbus Nosferatu

Back Story: When he was little, Acerbus was always an adventurer. He loved going off to find new places and it always got him into trouble. However, one time on Halloween Night (midnight to be exact) he wandered into the forest where he found a cursed spring. After drinking the water, he was transformed into a demon and then transported into an odd town. He's lived there ever since.

Note to all RPers:

1) ALL ABILITIES AND POWERS work both during the day and night. However, all abilities and powers, with the exception of those that belong to thread runners, will not affect Halloween City as an environment.

If you set a tree on fire during the day, the tree will not burn and the fire will go out over time. At night, however, all abilities may come into play and affect said environment.

2) This role-play is a somewhat short one. Due to this fact, I cannot help those that become inactive. If you don't post, time in HC will move on without you. I must keep the main plot moving.

3) If a thread runner and/or staff member tells you that your character could not do some certain ability or reaction in their thread, you will heed their words and edit your post or be removed from the RP. If you disagree with said thread runner and/or staff member, take it up with me.

4) If you are to be absent for a certain period of time during this RP, I request that you give prior notification and list one or two other RPers to handle your OC for you.

5) It is imperative that you include both the description of your character during the day and night. If you exclude one or the other, I will write one for you.

6) Remember that this RP is NOT in the Forbidden Darklands. Keep to the forum rules and be courteous to all fellow RPers when out of the Darklands, please.

Name: Cerberus Styx

Gender: Female

Description: is 5’6. Has long blond hair down to the middle of her back. She has amber eyes that have a sparkle to them. She is usually wearing denim jeans and a white blouse. :Future Reference: At night she takes the form of a werewolf that is 6 foot even tall, glowing amber eyes, grey black fur with a mane of fur that's a golden color like her hair.

Residence Status: Brand spanking new.

Species/Race: Werewolf

Back Story: Cerberus is a carefree woman in her mid twenty’s. She loves to have fun and always seeks out new things. When she started to hear rumors of a town that was always celebrating Halloween, she decided to find out if it was true or not. She quit her job and left home. She continued on until she thought she could search no more. She finally ended up at the front gates of this place since she was out of money and couldn’t afford to travel home. She merely figured she would get a temporary job, earn some quick cash and go on home. Boy was she wrong.

Description: Day : Is about 5''4, have fushia pink eyes, long dark-blue hairs that are shorter in front, longer in the back, but layered. Wear mostly punk-asian style clothes, often is about some original designed skirts and top/jacket with leggings/shorts underneat. Her clothes are mostly of dark colors. Species/Race: Witch of the wind. She controls the winds and is capable to fly with it. But careful she's tougher then she look ! ... Well when she's not freaking out too much to think that is.

Back Story: Kitaka went to study to Crescendo academy in Northlynn city to learn how to make better use of her wind powers. However after a serie of events she got into a mission and traveled with a large group, as well as someone called Conlaodh that was training her very hardly *koff koff* I mean gently. As they got to sleep on some inn she, on the next day awoke into her own home, quickly understanding that it wasn't actually the case when she stepped out of it. Kitaka was now in some town called Halloween city.

Name: Anastasia (Stasia) Skyy

Age: 27

Gender: F

Description: Day: Stasia is 5'6, long, dark hair, athletic build. She normally wears skinny jeans or skirts (for work), high heeled boots, and fitted sweaters in light colors. She is very girly, high energy, and in no way shy. Night: She dressed as a fairy, so that's what she becomes at night. She has a light blue, short halter dress, matching heels, and a blue daisy in her hair. Oh, she also shrinks down to a few inches in height and has transparent blue wings.

Residence Status: Stasia is brand new.

Species/Race: Fairy: as such she can fly and so some magic.

Back Story: Stasia had lived in a big city, but when her brother was killed in a mugging, she decided the big city wasn't for her. She felt like she would belong more in a small town and her brother had talked to her about Halloween City and wanting to move there someday, so she decided that's where she would go. Though she is grieving for the loss of her brother, she is not the kind of person that mopes around. Stasia is excited to meet new people and start over. She got a job as a teacher at the elementary school in only one visit to Halloween City. She is excited to move and meet new people.

Name: Qirex Volboris

Age: 3, but appears to be 18

Gender: Male

Day description: 5' 8". Has brown, short hair and blue eyes. Wears dark green sweatshirt with white t-shirt underneath, black jeans, and white and red sneakers. Also wears a pair of thin glasses and a set of headphones.

Night description: 6'. Has white, longer hair that is swept forward and maroon eyes. Wears a red and black open vest with short sleeves and a black t-shirt underneath, black pants with tribal lettering written in red down the sides, and white and black shoes. Also has a red, eye shaped mark on his forehead, which is covered by his hair.

Residence Status: New Resident

Species/Race: Android

Qirex was built to be a bodyguard for his master. He was equipped with several weapons and enhancements in his body and was programmed to communicate effectively in the human languages along with thinking on a sub-human level. Qirex was given the ability to make his own decisions, but his programming had him follow his master's orders no matter what. Shortly after Qirex's birth, his master was placed under arrest for several large felonies. Before Qirex's master was arrested, he wiped his memory of everything that happened and sent him off to Halloween City via shady courier services. Qirex was found by a scientist in Halloween City who kept him as a pet.

Name: Lylianna "Lylia" Moonwood
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Description: Day: She is 5'5" with auburn hair that is pulled back into a messy bun and has dark blue eyes. She can be seen wearing black plants with ankle-length boots. Her shirt is a long-sleeved purple button shirt with a dark grey vest.
Night: At night, her skin becomes paler and her eyes become a light, pale crystal blue. Her hair becomes a dark silver color. The top part of her hair is pulled into a messy bun while the rest of her hair flows down her back. She wears black-heeled knee-high boots, a low-back black dress that goes down just past her knees. She also has a two silver chain belts that wrap around her waist as well as long black fingerless sleeve gloves. Around her neck lies a black choker with a silver pendant.

Residence Status: Has been a current resident of Halloween City for quite some time now.

Species/Race: Necromancer. She is skilled in the dark arts such as summoning the dead and performing curses.

Back Story: Lylia was an orphan who had no idea of who her true family was. At a young age, she took off and started living alone. Living on the road for most of her life, she only visited various cities to scrounge for food and avoided most people. This has led her to become reclusive, sarcastic, serious, and on occasion eccentric. One of the times she was visiting a city she began to hear rumors of Halloween City on the streets. Purely out of curiosity, she decided to look into the rumors so that she could find a place to settle down and thus she ventured into the city. She now dedicates herself to do research and has never left Halloween City since her arrival.

Gender: Male

Description: Day--Brown hair, hazel eyes. 5'9, 162lbs. Lanky, stringy build. Night--Fully armoured in a Knight's black and silver armour. Equipped with a longsword and very medieval styled.

Residential Status: Newcomer/Tourist

Back Story: Dean has no interesting back story. He is a bored man who stumbles upon Halloween City by chance.

Name: Ashton Xuorig

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Description: 5'10, Athletic build. Has medium lengthed red hair and green eyes. He wears a red vest with no shirt underneath, black jeans with multiple belts and chains around his waist & legs, a pair of heavy boots, as well as black and gold bracelets around his wrists.
Night: eyes turn completely red, his hair becomes spiked and his bracelets catch on fire (But causes no harm to him)

Residence Status: Has been living in the city for quite some time.

Species/Race: Pyromancer

Back Story: Bigtime hotshot. Ashton is a carefree (but easily angered), slightly arrogant tough guy. He heard the rumors of Halloween City and since he's always looking for a thrill, he went to check it out. He was amazed over what happen during nightfall and decided to stay. He is loving the city life.

Name: Larner Somiadi

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Day Description: Larner has a thinner build than average, but is by no means scrawny or weak. He has longer, slightly messy blue-black hair and bright blue eyes. Usually dresses in black pants and shoes, a white fitted collared shirt [usually unbuttoned towards the top], a royal blue vest, and a long black tie that hangs below his vest.

Night Description: Come nighttime, Larner has large, feathered wings [his bones are hollow like that of a bird], and his hands and feet become claw-like. Feathers cover most of his torso [excluding a few sections that still show his skin] and a bit of his face close to one of his eyes. All of the feathers are the same blue-black color as his hair. He wears royal blue pants, a loose black tank-top, and a pair of fingerless blue gloves. Sometimes he will wear a long black cloak with a blue chain around the neck.

Residence Status: He has lived in Halloween City for years.

Species/Race: Avian hybrid; The male equivalent of a Siren.

Back Story: Larner grew up with older parents who had little regard for him, often leaving him to do whatever he pleased. Despite the lack of attention he recieved, he developed a charming and lighthearted personality. Along with his charming ways, he found that he has a gift for singing, often finding himself able to attract anyone's attention. He began traveling, usually accompanied by female companions, when he turned 18. It was in his travels that he found Halloween City [which was where his travel companions left him, fearing the rumors that surround the town] and made it his home. He's a very alluring and attractive guy, both in appearance and in mind.

Name: Juice Malouse

Age: 20

Gender: M

Day Description: Thin build. Looks somewhat tired. 5'9". Has long chest-length black hair. Dark eyes. Wears black T-shirt all the time. And is seen quite often wearing jeans. Looks somewhat asian.
Night: Eyes become completely black. Looks even more tired. Skin becomes pale. Sometimes completely turns into a Grue, but not usually. Always seen with a silver six-string bass guitar at night.

Residence Status: Lives in this city since he can remember.

Species/Race: Zombie musician mage. or Grue.

Back Story: His parents were immigrants. Has always been a silent person, a man shrouded in mystery. Used to play violin but switched it for bass guitar. Has been playing bass guitar for a long while and with great devotion. It is rumoured he practices 6 hours every night. Once almost died when he ate a friend and almost suffocated in his friend's hair. Since then he is more careful when eating people. Might actually be talkative when with people he knows.

Name: Constanza Romero

Age: Appears 10, actual age unknown

Gender: Female

Description: She’s a young girl of Hispanic origin, with straight black hair going midway down her back and light brown eyes. She has a thin, barely visible scar on the side of her neck. She usually wears bright-colored summer dresses, despite the cold, and wears numerous silver bracelets on her arms. NIGHT: Her eyes turn completely black, even the whites, and her fangs appear.

Residence Status: Long time resident.

Species/Race: Vampire

Back Story: Constanza was turned into a vampire at a very young age, and her highly religious parents were terrified of the change and ended up casting her out. Constanza lived on the streets for a short time before hearing of Halloween City by rumor, and decided to try and make her way there. Upon her arrival, was quickly taken in by an older resident who took pity on her. Her sudden change and her parents’ rejection of her left her bitter, and her bitterness has only intensified with age. As such, she generally avoids social interaction unless she deems it necessary.

Name: Raven Vandal AKA Mischief

Age: 21

Gender: F

Description: Mischief

Residence Status: Newcomer

Species/Race: Animated Being

Back Story: Having been driven out of Riot City by the unbearable crime and menace of the area, Raven came to Halloween City, hoping to leave that life behind her. But she found that now her transformation into the psychotic ACME character was no longer a mutual transformation, it was being forced every night.

Name: Alexei Stefanos

Age: 19

Gender: M

Description: Alexei is approximately 5'9" and sickly pale with a frail build. His hazel eyes are ringed with dark circles and his shaggy hair is charcoal brown and dusts his collarbones. He is typically seen wearing a jacket or zip up sweater over a plain white wifebeater, jeans and slightly battered white Chucks. At night, he sprouts broad, twisted black wings and his wrists are shackled. His complexion brightens a bit. Photographic evidence!

Residence Status: Resident for nearly a year.

Species/Race: Fallen Angel

Back Story: Alexei was very ill as a child and spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital. His condition has finally stabilized over the past few years and so once he reached the age of majority, he decided to take advantage of this fact. He left his hometown to see the world and ended up hearing the rumours of Halloween City. It intrigued him and so he went. At first, it was alarming but he's adapted to the place surprisingly easily. Due to spending the majority of his childhood isolated, Alexei is a bit shy, reserved, socially awkward and has a hard time making friends. However, the residents of Halloween City all share a unique situation which makes it easy for him to feel close to them.

Name: Kyrie Sheridan

Age: 20

Gender: F

Description: Kyrie has shoulder length white curly hair with violet eyes. She is 5'5" tall and petite. She has a healing force.

Residence Status: New resident

Species/Race: She does not know it yet, but she will be an Unicorn =)

Back Story: She is a fellow student of the Academy which Kitaka resides. Minry came to her in a dream and told her to come the Halloween City.

Name: Kiko

Age: Appears to be 21, but is actually 173

Gender: Male

Description: During the day, he is an average-looking college student who looks a bit on the nerdy side. He has silver hair and emerald green eyes. During the night, he becomes a centaur with soft, well groomed tan fur with a black mane and tail. He gains muscles and his hair color changes to black. It also lengthens into a ponytail.

Residence Status: Been a resident for 152 years.

Species/Race: Centaur

Back Story: When first arriving in Halloween City, he was not wearing a costume. Instead, he was riding his horse and his body merged with Kiko as a way for the spell on the town to improvise a new form. Since being in town, he'd forgotten his old life, but made friends with everyone there, and at night, he had made a habbit of going to the Crow's caw to have a special drink. He thought it was fun to experience their random effects.

Age: 9

Gender: M

Description: A young boy chin-length green hair and similarly green eyes. Usually wears shorts and hoodie.

Residence Status: New Resident

Species/Race: No one could expect... Becoming a green Hanny!

Back Story: A child, fan of scary things, lucked upon information of Halloween City. The next day, he talked to his friends... And on a dare, escaped from home to head to the city, not knowing what to expect!
