OPICS 45 Psychology Office -- Noon

Doctor Flynn sits across the narrow, black table at his patient for their very last Psychological visit. The room is quiet as the two men in the room stare at each other with blank expressions. The room is mostly empty, though the doctor's desk is in the room, but behind sensors to keep prisoners away from it so that they cannot obtain any items or instruments that could be later used as weapons against others or themselves.

This particular patient is not a prisoner, however--in fact, he is the OPICS Warden. Today is his last day on duty and he is finally retiring from his job after three extensions on his contract time for working at this station. Just last week, Warden Kelt was in this very room, fidgeting and pacing about and asking for an extension on his service time, yet again. The doctor had refused and as a result, the Warden was quite close to being frantic. His stoic and blank behavior that he holds now is somewhat unexpected.

"So you leave in an hour." Dr. Flynn finally breaks the growing silence, "Are you still afraid of going back out into the world? How do you feel?"

"I don't want to go there, but...I have to try. I'm an old man. I've been here too long." The old Warden replies. "I am tired."

Dr. Flynn smiles, "I'm so glad that you are facing this. You know that even on Earth, you can still contact me and we can have our regular sessions until you feel that you don't need them anymore."

"Yeah..." The Warden's voice trails off and his eyes move to the wall behind the psychologist as if he is looking out into another world. He is definitely still quite frightened, but he is also taking this all a lot better than he was last week. The doctor is relieved.

OPICS 45 Space Port -- Noon

Warden Krelian exits the small ship that had been her brief transportation to OPICS 45, stepping down the ramp and onto the space port where several enforcers moved about, taking her cargo out of the ship as quickly as they can so that they can move Warden Kelt's belongings in. Normally, prisoners would be doing all of the grunt work, but as there is an actual ship that could be used to escape on board, high security protocols are in place for a temporary time.

The space port's sides have large windows that are usually closed, though this time they are open upon the Warden's request--she is, after all, about to spend a large portion of her life away from the planet that she loves so that she may protect it and seeing it through the windows is a large comfort for this time.

She moves over to the window quickly, looking out into space with a blank expression. On the inside, she is quite sad, but she knows that this is what is for the best. The Enforcer Corps asked her to take this job, personally, knowing that she had the least amount of emotional baggage to keep her on her home world. She was the only one without a family.

"Warden Krelian?" A young voice calls her name and she turns, pulling up her communication scanner immediately as she faces him. Usually, having the information screen up when someone is trying to talk to you is considered rude, but when a person is in unfamiliar territory and surrounded by people they don't know, having access to files to help you keep up with faces and names can be helpful and people are usually understanding of this fact.

She looks down at the screen and read's the enforcer's name, as well as time spent here. She doesn't have much more information than that, however, as her base wrist console isn't hooked in with the AI of OPICS at this time. She reads the name, looks up at his face, and speaks with a serious tone and expression. She moves to do a half-sitting position against the window's inner ledge as she replies respectfully. "Officer Kent?"

The man's eyes widen as he sees her face, an expression of awe spreading across his countenance as he looks upon her beauty. Other than her beautiful complexion, light, hazel eyes, and well-kept, blonde hair, seeing the Earth behind her with the sun's meeting along it's edge to cast a slight shadow upon her as the stars twinkle behind her makes the entire moment of seeing such a lovely lady quite alluring.

Warden Krelian:

Stunned, he hesitates and then finally stutters: "M-my apologies, ma'am. I was just wondering if you wanted to be introduced to the AI, now, or if you needed some time?"

She nods her head. "I can meet with her--we call her MOMO, is that correct? I do need to link up before meeting with Kelt or any of the prisoners."

"Yes, right away. Ahh--and there she is, right on time, as usual." Kent replies as the holographic girl forms a short ways away, starting at the feet and rising up to the head. Around her feet, a small, glowing circle is lit upon the floor, the color of a brilliant blue--these circles are here and there all over the ship and are the only locations where MOMO can begin a holographic form. Though the holographic image can leave the circles, they cannot stay intact for very long once they have left. This is usually not an issue, since MOMO usually only speaks to people with her voice, rather than with a virtual body.

"Greetings, Warden Krelian, good to meet you." MOMO greets with a pleasant smile. The Warden frowns. MOMO's body is not only wearing tight clothing, but has visual thighs and overly large breasts...what exactly did they think when they put this AI appearance in a prison? Perhaps that is something she iwll need to adjust later...

"MOMO. I am ready to link with you when you are." Warden Krelian says, "It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Affirmative." MOMO states with a virtual salute, "Linking process is at zero percent."

She took the tray, nodding thanks to the Cafebot as it brought her her tray. She listened for a moment; she'd need to ask the new warden if she could do maintenance on the bots soon. She could hear the gyro servos starting to wear. That would mean other parts likely were wearing down, too. It could also be missing parts--she'd have to check that once lunch period ended.

She let out a small sigh. She'd built a rapport with the old warden and he'd given her a few freedoms in return for her service. She'd have to try and build something with the new one. Assuming she could--she might just take all of the few privileges she had away.

If it happened, then it happened. She was a prisoner, after all, and it wasn't like she deserved anything. It was about punishment, here.

She looked at her plate and ate mechanically, her eyes scanning methodically the people around her as she was custom. The entire place looked like a school cafeteria, only with black, metallic tables and chairs bolted in place. The cooks were busy working away in the kitchens that were separated from the main eating area by sensors. Violating them unauthorized resulted in a field that froze you where you stood. The new prisoners always tried it a few times before they got the message.

The Crooks had already claimed their table and were eying those foolish enough to come near it. She hoped another fight didn't break out as it tended to take away privileges from even those not involved if it escalated too highly. At least the other gangs were keeping to themselves.

There were a few inmates at her table, but they kept their distance well enough. Her first six months here had been re-educating anyone who tried to steal from her plate--or make her a bitch. She'd gotten solitary after she'd broken the girl and her friends who'd managed to shank her. She'd narrowly twisted to keep it from hitting anything vital--it'd taken twenty stitches, nonetheless. However, the message had gotten across and when she came out, no one tried messing with her, anymore.

Her plate emptied, she held it up for the food bot to take. She'd take a brisk walk, then meditation, then she would check the Cafebots. Afterward, she'd have a little free time before she'd have to help with maintenance work--nonessential systems, of course.

It was all schedule around here. There were two lunch shifts for prisoners, each an hour long. Afterward, if the prisoners had enough "currency," they could go do recreation. If not, or if they were scheduled for work, then that was where they were headed. There were several holodecks for prisoners so that they could play or workout, depending on their fancy. However, there were also days where prisoners were brought into the holodecks for work. Namely, digging holes--it was called Dig Day. A landscape of land would be pulled up and they'd spend hours digging holes in the ground. They called it "character building," Sigrún called it a giant waste of time. It was one thing to punish people, but at least if there was labor to be done, they could make it useful labor.

She stood up and left the cafeteria. For now, there was nothing left for her here and there were better things she could be doing.

Lacey leaned forward, resting her forearms on her table in the corner of the mess. She brought one hand up to her head, leaning against it and blowing out a breath, clearly bored. The food on her plate was largely untouched.

No one was sitting with her - at the moment. Most inmates stayed clear of Alphas like her, though the idiots and the gangs sometimes liked to test them. Such things rarely ended well. No, most were smart enough to stay clear of the Alphas - sure, a lot of them were just your kids who got caught a second time and got their life sentences, but just as many of them were like her.

No, Alphas had their own little hierarchy, and most non-permanent residents didn't care to get themselves involved in that.

She scratched at the metal table with a nail, glancing down at the piece she'd been working on for a few weeks now. It'd take a while - scratches on metal weren't exactly the most efficient art form - and she hadn't gotten caught yet. Guards would probably give her extra work shifts or something for her artwork. Lacey reached down to her tray and forced herself to eat, bending her head over the tray to hide her left hand scratching at the table.

She kept her eyes up though, scanning the cafeteria. It was very possible some other Alpha would see her here and seek her out - one of the real lunatics, maybe, who didn't know when to leave well enough alone. That was the problem with Alpha block - none of the other murderers were intimidated by each other. What a pain.

Another dreary day of grinding and completing dailies continued with the day's unappetizing lunch. The food always had a strange dryness to it but Kurt had to keep his hunger low in one way or another. Eating the cafeteria's food was better than scavenging, after all. Thievery was only an option if he could get away with it, and with the amount of watchful eyes and the ever present AI looming, the chance for failure was much to great.

Kurt looked down at his half-emptied plate, unable to divert his thoughts away from his perceived loneliness. Every so often, he hoped he would run into another player, someone who had to live in this hell hole of a game, but all he's encountered were mindless programs, unaware of their artificial existence. And still, they held more power than he in this virtual space. The thought of getting a game over always crossed Kurt's mind, but he's too afraid of learning how many lives he has.

Come on, keep eating Kurt told himself. Every bite tasted good enough to pass down Kurt's esophagus but just barely. More daily quests needed to be completed; it wouldn't be long before Kurt gained another level, he could feel it. He just needed a little over 100 experience points, then he'd gain a stat or two. The amount of progression annoyed him, but the game has lasted for so long already. Every so often he wonders where the story will take him, or if there even is a story. At first he was living a normal life at home, now he's living in top-security containment. Maybe his normal life was simply a tutorial for things to come.

Allanae entered the cafeteria a few minutes late considering she had just finished her battle with some bad moisture. The enforcer who had been watching her surely must have thought she was weird talking like that to some moisture... but she'll probably be alright. Now for food....''MMmm... which of you beauties shall fall victim to my mount today.... '' She said looking at a selection on the screen with her usual creepy smile.

''It shall be you.'' She said, selecting a meal which was a soup. Then she walked to a free table and sat down, waiting for her order to be delivered by the robots. She always found them fascinating, but at the same time they would be so much better with a beating heart. Many other prisonners were keeping their distances from her considering some of her background had been going around. Well in a way maybe it was better this way... she didn't know if she would be able to keep herself fully calm if someone would turn her on by being defiant.

The robot was approaching with the soup, carefully putting it down in front of Allanae.

''Thank you cute little thing... too bad you don't have a beating heart... I would have listened to it....mmmm.... I'm sure you would have a sweet and innocent one... always the most fun. '' She opened her soup and started eating while the robot went away.

OPICS 45 Cafeteria -- 1pm

MOMO's voice echoes out into the entire station, her voice clear for all to understand. As she speaks, the loud chatter of all of the prisoners quiet down just a little, all listening intently.

"OPICS 45 Prisoners: Level seven security measures are still in effect for one hour, extended by thirty minutes." MOMO announces. "Please keep within security regulations at all times...Alpha 14, this does include you."

The last part is followed with a bit of laughter, though the prisoner in question is not currently present in the cafeteria where most prisoners are. They quiet down again as she continues.

"Warden Krelian will be greeting each block at the following times: Block Omega at 2pm. Block Beta at 2:15pm. Block Alpha at 2:30pm. By this time, you are expected to be within your cells, standing in position RX with tidy rooms at inspection readiness. Should you have any questions about this procedure, you can meet me at the nearest console."

The announcement closes and the chatter becomes louder again as a few of the prisoners begin throwing jokes at each other about various topics. A particular prisoner, known as "#9" due to both is block number and the number of women he has raped, throws his hands up with a mischievous smile on his face. His left hand comes down to rub his bald, tattooed head, as if to remind himself that there is still no hair there.

"Fresh meat!" He calls out with his smirk, "You know what that means? I'm gonna get a new cell-neighbor. My last guy moved out, I guess."

A few people around him shake their heads, smiling a little. Everyone knew he had stabbed the man just two months ago and that the man had requested to be moved to a different cell. A couple of prisoners farther away just rolled their eyes.

An Enforcer walks in--Officer Nguyen--and #9 quickly lowers his hands, quietening. Nguyen begins to walk about between the tables, as he so frequently loves to do. Among a few of the men, Nguyen is an Enforcer that is well respected--if you respected him, he respected you. However, to the women, Officer Nguyen is quite...disgusting. The womanizer is well known for his behavior differences from sex to sex--if you were a man, you were a man, masculine and powerful and strong, regardless of what crimes you were guilty of. If you were a woman, you had a role, a place, and if you didn't know where that was, he would put you where you needed to be.

He moves up to Lila, a quite prisoner that was in for petty thievery. She's only nineteen years of age and has been within the walls of OPICS 45 for about three weeks. So far, she has been handling it with only silence and avoidance of others, which has helped her, for the most part. Of course, there had been an attempt to rape her, but Enforcers and MOMO were quick to make sure that could not happen.

"Your shirt should not be tied up high on your torso like that." Nguyen points at the sliver of her skin showing at her waist. "That's against clothing regulations."

"MOMO said--" Lila began.

"I'm not MOMO." Enforcer Nguyen says, already moving his hand to his baton. "I say you don't need to dress like a slut. You tempt men with your flesh. It is not proper."

Lila begins to untie her shirt.

OPICS 45 Space Port -- 1pm

The new group of prisoners are now placed into the port with closed doors and the windows closing. The AI immediately begins to enter in the information of each prisoner that is included with their pod while they sleep. Enforcers are standing as the pods form somewhat of an assembly line. One at a time, they begin to wake each prisoner up, check them for anything that they should not have, sanitize them, and give them a uniform.

Here, they are also scanned, given a cell and block number, and have their belongings checked and taken from them if they are not allowed to have them in their cells. The pod with all of the belongings to the prisoners is sifted through, first. By this point, each prisoner will already have their microchip and will have been sized for their uniforms.

Lacey barely looked up from her drawing to listen to the announcement. New warden making their first rounds. Lacey smirked. Maybe this one would be more sociable than the last one. She'd like to draw a few sketches for them.

She curled her hand into a fist and pushed her tray away. Enough time here. She had to get her own quarters ready for the new warden.

As Lacey stood up, she noticed Nguyen harrassing some other girl again. She rolled her eyes as she grabbed her tray, circling around to walk behind Nguyen as she went to drop off her tray, flipping him off behind his back. She wasn't going to save the girl, but Nguyen was an ass

Sigrún paused for a moment to listen to the announcement. That only left her another thirty minutes to work. Not that she needed it for the Cafebots, but that meant maintenance duty would be put on hold. Oh well. It just meant a little less time to work on her current project. She only had another twenty years here, there was no rush. The corners of her lips quirked slightly, then went still.

So far, two of the bots showed signs of tampering. The one that she thought had been wearing was one of them. She'd need to report this. She pondered what the person hoped to gain by doing so, then remembered a couple of the scars she'd gotten her first couple of months here. Humans could be such animals. That's why she was here, after all.

Kurt continued feeding as the announcement rang over the cafeteria. There was still plenty of time before the new warden arrived, and Kurt's cell was neat and tidy as usual. Not having many possessions made it easier to keep the room clean. Kurt passively listened to the chatter of the NPCs around him. Some of them have rather interesting personalities.

His attention turned to one prisoner that seemed to be under harassment by Mr. Nguyen. Kurt's lazy eyes traced the two characters settle their trivial dispute. Kurt was too far to hear what they were saying but he could guess at the officer's issue with the woman. It wasn't long before the young lady caved in to the demands of authority. A light chuckle escaped Kurt's lips.

As Allanae was finishing her soup, a message came on the speakers by MOMO about the new warden coming to visit each quarter. ''Mmm... how interesting .... '' She said with a creepy smile. ''I wonder what she or he will look like'' she thought out loud to herself. Getting up a bot was already taking care of taking the tray back behind. ''Thank you cutie'' She said to the robot before she left the cafeteria.

She was done with her cleaning job, so she might as well go check if her room is clean enough. It probably is though considering how bored she can get. ''I hope this new warden will add some interesting spice to the place... Maybe I could have some ... fun with her... then again... that kind of fun is no longer available now is it ?.... Mmmm... though listening to her heart would be a threat....aaah how long has it been since I listened to a heart beat ..... '' The monologue in her head continued the whole time she was walking toward her cell with a look of amusement in her face.

Entering her cell, she made sure to clean around a bit to remove the new possible dust that could have been there and then as she was done in advance... she opened the tablet that was in each cell, which were connected to MOMO and she started reading a book on it while she would be waiting.

Groping, grasping, grabbing hands quested over Jacklynn's body, pulling her, forcing her to their designs. She tried to fight them off, but her efforts where even less effective than a child. Arms so strong and sure, barely wanted to respond, she was powerless against these men.

Panicked as she was, as fast as her heart hammered in her ears, as much as she tried to throw them away, she fought through the syrupy air and effects of the sedatives.

"He's coming to. Hold him before he hurts himself." Someone said, obviously quite concerned. Well it sure would have been if that guy didn't have an injector in their hand.

Jacklynn struggled again more effectively and wrenched her arm away from the grubby hands holding it - away from the injector.

"Oh no you don't!" A couple of them grabbed her wrist and forced her arm and against the table. Then they jammed the unknown device against her forearm. A searing pain went off as it cut into her, and seared her flesh. She struggled against them, but they pulled her other arm behind her back and pulled up painfully till her head pressed against the table.

She tried to kick and fight, to get free as they took from her, branded her. She gritted her teeth and growled deep and full of rage no longer held back by their drugs.

"We're done, let em go." The guy said as he stepped away and wiped the device to sanitize it. The hands holding her down suddendly vanished and Jacklynn got her arm out from behind her, got both of them on both sides of the table, and pulled with the intent to rip it off the floor with all the grrrrrrrrrrl power that her naked self contained.

That's when they let her have it, they let loose with their hoses. No amount of straining would pull that table from it's moorings to the floor. It did however help brace her against their sanitization. "When I get -" More of that awful crap got into her mouth when she tried to defy them.

When they shut it off, Jacklynn rose up, water dripping from her shaking and shivering body. When they shoved a warm pair of clothes and a pod of her things into her arms with a
"keep moving", she was tempted to wipe that smug look of their face, along with a jaw full of teeth, but she still wasn't recovered from the drugs they pumped into her before they shot her into space.

As she followed along behind another prisoner, a shorter more pudgy man, the details started to fill in. She'd been aboard the other ship, awaiting for transfer. Barely sticking out of her uniform was the corner of a data-log, and she was trying to transfer the pod to one arm when she was interrupted with a rude and annoyed
"Arm!"

She had to shift everything to the other side and stick out her arm that still stung to the man, who waved a wand over it. The skin was completely unblemished, if just slightly red and swollen but otherwise useless to justify her rage at these uniformed jerks.

"Trevlin." The officer said taking a habitual glance at the monitor to spot the rooming assignment as the system logged the ID chip in her arm into the system. "You're Omega-" The bastard said eying over her junk with disregard, "-73, that's you're new name, Cell 242. Pod." The guy said as they processed her, taking the pod and passing it to someone else to go through. When the man glanced back up from screen again at the idiot still standing there like some dumb fucker. "You're backing up my line O-73. We got a problem?"

"No. Sir." Jackie said begrudgingly as she wasn't handed anything back from her belongings, which was fine she guessed since she didn't really have anything but some clothes anyway.

Just what the officer needed, some clueless airhead.
"Omega." He said leveling a finger over towards the rest of the lesser trash in this dump. "Get your ass over there with the rest of the men." Before we have a problem was implied heavily. "We got a problem?" The man asked when Jacklynn hadn't made a move yet.

"Yeah." Jacklynn said, being a bitch. "I'm a woman."

"Like hell you are, Jack." The Officer said seeing as the matter was quite clear, he didn't need to check the monitor to see Jack's beanstalk, that was damn sure.

"I'm Feeeeemale." Jacklynn said stressing it, with blatant disregard for his lip, if she wanted anymore than that she'd tell him where he could shove his stun baton.

The officer wasn't about to keep putting up with this, he put his hand to his waist and got ready to knock some sense if he didn't start listening.
"Enough with your shit, get in line buddy." His thumb already turning on the power to his baton as it left his holster.

Jacklynn looked at the weapon, measured the risks, and glanced towards the line where the omega's where standing. She didn't come here to shack up and find love, that was for damn sure.

"I. Am. A. Woman. Fuck for brains." She spat out, tired of their shit.

OPICS 45 Space Port -- 1:30pm

Just as the Enforcer is ready to take action, the blue ring that lights up on the floor nearby flashes as MOMO takes form. Distracted by the appearance of MOMO's virtual body, his arm lowers as he looks over at her, instead of towards Ω73 as she walks over with a pleasant smile.

"Hello, Officer Baiz." MOMO greets, "I would like to request that Jacklynn Trevlin be placed into the Beta Block for the duration of her time here."

"What are you going on about? He's a man!" The Enforcer looks at her incredulously, "Have you had your scanners checked? Go reboot!"

"Trevlin's file clearly states that she has the de la Chapelle syndrome, also known as the XX male syndrome." MOMO replies, "Although she is physically male, she is genetically a female and identifies with the female gender."

The Enforcer makes a sound of disapproval, but MOMO continues. "In addition, her file also indicates that she is physically and emotionally attracted to the male gender, despite her genetic anomaly. Placing her around men would defeat the purpose of Gender separation. As gay men are usually placed in the the women's cell block, should this situation not also be considered?"

"He has a penis!" Officer Baiz says, clearly frustrated. "Why are we even discussing this? I don't give a shit what the report says, for all we know, he just pretends to be a woman so he can rape other women!"

"Trevlin has no rape charges in her history." MOMO responds. "The chromosomes in her DNA have been proven in her medical files, as well, as well as her psychological files that provide professional insight into her sexual orientation and identification."

"Okay. Fine." Officer Baiz says with irritation, "Ask the Warden and be quick about it. I don't have time for this nonsense. Trevlin, step over here so the rest of the line can get to their cells."

After a few minutes, MOMO approaches the Enforcer once more. As she does so, the man's communicator device alerts him of an incoming message. He looks down at it and ignores the AI's approach completely.

"As you can see, the Warden has approved of my request." MOMO says respectfully, "Observation will determine if the Warden's decision will be final after an unknown period of time."

"Yeah, yeah." Baiz replies, disgruntled, "Trevlin, come here so I can change your damn cell. Don't gloat."

He brings up Trevlin's registration file once more, switching the Omega symbol for that of a Beta symbol. The number, however, manages to stay the same. He looks over at Trevlin before gesturing for him to continue to his cell.

"Okay, we will provide you with uniforms with the correct symbol in the future for you to change into. For now, that will have to do. We're gonna have to do some sizing, because you're a pain in the ass." The Enforcer signals for the door to open to let another prisoner through. "You should have the regulations datapad with you. You are expected to read it. Warden Krelian will be greeting you in half an hour. Be there."

OPICS 45 Cell Blocks -- 2-2:30pm

As the Warden greets each cell block, she has before her a small bot that holds a camera. Upon the screen before each prisoner's cell, her face will appear for all to see. She does walk between cells before her speech a bit, just to take a look at the atmosphere and some of the more known prisoners that she had been supplied with information about from the previous Warden.

As she walks, each prisoner is expected to stand before their "door" while it is transparent so that she can get a good look at everyone she passes. After her walk when she actually begins her greeting, the walls' transparency mode closes and the screens activate.

"Good Afternoon, inmates." Warden Krelian greets, "I'm your new Warden from here on out. You can refer to me as Warden, Officer Krelian, Ma'am, or just Officer. Any other name given to me will result in a little enforcement. You respect me, I respect you. You give me problems, I give you problems. If you can understand those simple rules, we will get along just fine."

She pauses and then says, "I may or may not be changing rules and regulations on this station. This will, of course, depend on how I see things running here--I expect order and I expect good behavior. If I have to make changes to ensure that those two things are abundant and efficient here, I will do so."

[Attn: MOMO, Enforcers/Officers, New Inmates, Other Betas, Open]

Well the dice where thrown now, and Jacklynn was well on her way for a bruising. That's when a circle on the floor lit up, blue, super cute color really, and boom there appeared this girl. This little teenybopper was seriously dressed like a rave born stripper. Seems that the limp dick was backing down all for this girl, damn guys must be having it bad out here.

"Hello, Officer Baiz." the lit up Ravette said.

Jacklynn had to turn her head from Baiz. What kinda name was Baiz, it was hard not to want to laugh at the fucker. Oh em Gee, his parents named their retarded son after a puddle of water!

"I would like to request that Jacklynn Trevlin be placed into the Beta Block for the duration of her time here."

"What are you going on about? He's a man!" The Enforcer looks at her incredulously, "Have you had your scanners checked? Go reboot!"

The look on 'Bays' face was ha-larious! Seriously this ravette was awesome, but the guy did bring up a good point. Seems it wasn't just some rave girl in a skintight swimsuit with glowing track lights but a program (maybe AI) with holograph lights. Seriously though, who the heck had built her? Some sexually repressed porn watcher? Seriously over-sexualized; Sexist prick. Jacklynn was in no way jealous that this holo-pal was way hotter than she was...

"Trevlin's file clearly states that she has the de la Chapelle syndrome, also known as the XX male syndrome." Holo-gal replies, "Although she is physically male, she is genetically a female and identifies with the female gender."

Sobering stuff, having something explain about her intersex life stuff. Maybe she didn't deserve the claws and fangs. It was seriously a load off her back, she didn't have to explain to this neanderthal. Heck Jacklynn didn't even cause much of a fuss when she had to get out of the line and wait for a verdict from the warden. Probably gonna have to shack up with the boys, not that it wouldn't have been all bad, after all she'd been treated like a guy too often.

The holo-gal waited for a bit then kinda seemed a bit smug when it turned out that Biaz was going to have to suck it.

"Yeah, yeah." Bays begrudgingly conceded, Jacklynn had to fight down another giggle, "Trevlin, come here so I can change your damn cell. Don't gloat."

Jacklynn fluttered her eyes in feigned surprise at such a claim, it was a good thing that her metal jaws didn't allow certain facial expressions but her eyes and posture sure could. Bays seriously was gonna have to suck lemons if Jacklynn wanted to gloat, he deserved it. Right now though, Jacklynn could show a little restraint and be a gracious winner by not rubbing the puppy's face in it.

"Okay, we will provide you with uniforms with the correct symbol in the future for you to change into. For now, that will have to do. We're gonna have to do some sizing, because you're a pain in the ass."

Seriously? Jeez, talk about bitter.

The Enforcer signaled to the door, and it let another prisoner through. "You should have the regulations datapad with you. You are expected to read it. Warden Krelian will be greeting you in half an hour. Be there."

It just wasn't worth making a fuss, so Jacklynn followed the other Betas. Smirking where Bays couldn't see it, after all her facejob worked good enough for that.

"Ohh, that's right." Jacklynn said pausing as she passed MOMO. "Totes loved the assist, you're fine in my book." but seriously girl you need to work on those clothes. "Later Ravette." Trevlin said as she wandered out into the hall to find her room.

"Wish I had a bod like that." Jackie said wistfully, "I could seriously bench her though."

.......

Jacklynn got more than a couple looks thrown her way when she wandered into the Beta block, though no one had stopped her so far. Looking at the datapad, Jacklynn kept walking to find her room.

Seemed like this was it, Cell 749. She had to wave her wrist in front of the scanner to get the door open. Dang thing probably had to check she was registered or something. Couldn't they have spent a few extra smackeroonies and gone with something with a distance scanner?

The door had opened and Jacklynn got a look at her room. "Only one bunk, well that's right as rain water with me." accepting it as she walked into her cell and dropped her pad and uniform on the bed. Might be time to put the dang thing on, there had been surprisingly few cat calls when she'd been walking. She'd been expecting tons from all the prison rumors milling about off station, then again maybe it had to do with being in Beta block.

The uniform was as drab as the station had been on the way in. Jacklynn sat on her bunk, pressing her back to the wall and rolled up her sleeves. A girl had to show off her assets, and Jacklynn had some good guns to show off. When that was done she pulled up her knees and started to read the regulations and the point system.

A voice cuts in over the intercom, "Good Afternoon, inmates. I'm your new Warden from here on out. You can refer to me as Warden, Officer Krelian, Ma'am, or just Officer. -"

Huh a woman warden, that wasn't bad. Seemed that she was new too, and Jacklynn was glad she hadn't been here long enough yet to have to adapt to any new changes the Warden made in the future. Jacklynn went back to reading about behavior points, after all Krelian was just laying down the law and drawing her line in the sand.

Seemed there might be a few jobs that Jacklynn might be interested in, She could totally go for a nice snack right now, maybe something gritty or crunchy. That was a concern though, trying to curb her munchies. Maybe she could keep from getting onto the shit list if she kept herself clean and busy. She wasn't really sure though, since the holo-tart had mentioned something about an observation period. Maybe she'd be able to find a nice spot and sneak in a tiny snack.

(ATTN : Open/Omega block)

- Npc post -

The first block had been the omega and as this new warden came in, the male gender sure looked excited. But of course considering it was the new warden they were also doing their best to respect her and not stare in some unwanted places. Not like they could watch much with this camera message though. One of them, Richard, was starting to calculate on his tablet some numbers. Numbers of bet chances that the new warden will change the rules. This one had done some fraud in the past and was here due to this. He also had an addition to gambling.

''Yes.... I'm sure this will work.... let's see who have the best gambling spirit .... ehehehe.... '' Richard was going nuts over the probabilities and was listening to the message at the same time to try and recalculate each time he had a doubt on his probabilities.

After Kurt finished his meal, he realized he only had a couple of minutes to get back in his cell. After his last encounter with the authorities, he'd rather not go through a humiliating time like that again. Kurt walked as briskly as he could without upsetting the guards posted in the walkways. It was only 10 minutes until the new warden arrived; fortunately, everything was already neatly placed for the most part. The bed sheets were sloppily set, but that shouldn't matter. They were just pieces of flimsy fabric.

Kurt stood next to his door as he was instructed while the warden made her introduction. To be honest, he didn't expect a fair maiden to be the new head of the prison. He almost felt sorry that such a pretty face like her own would be met with the shit the last warden had to deal with. As the warden walked by, Kurt made sure to look directly in the eyes. This woman was surely a strong, stubborn type; one who wouldn't take no for an answer. But maybe a little coercing and a twist of the arm might do the trick.

[Attn: Other Betas, Open]
[Location: β Cell Block - Cell 749, Jacklynn's cell; Then Hallways to the Kitchen]

Jackie flicked her thumb up along the datapad to scroll some more, damn thing was boring. "Ugghhhhh." she groaned tossing the damn thing on her bunk. "I'm tired of this shit." the new inmate said shooting daggers at the unending rule 'manual', the thing was seriously mind numbingly boring.
She straightened her legs and stretched her whole body, her back making a little arch that undoubtedly made guys eyes fall from their head... well maybe not. Getting up, she padded across the cell towards the washbowl to wash her face. She wet her hands and went about straightening her hair the best she could without proper supplies. Hadn't anyone here heard of hairspray and brushes?
Arranging her hair the best she could would just have to do. "Hrmmm Jackie, should we ditch this do?" Jacklynn said turning her head back and forth, maybe she should, she was getting bored of it anyway. "Two years." the girl said remembering how long she'd kept it, she even recounted spiking and dying it. Her hands found her jaw and rubbed her cheeks and neck. It wasn't terribly painful, but she felt the metal mesh laced in it and sometimes it ached.
She tried to purse her lips but that was beyond her now, damn those second rate backwater Cy-surgeons. Her hands found her ears, or where they used to be, which now weren't the big old monsters she had before. Still though, maybe when she got out she'd see about getting a more anatomical cy-job done.
There just wasn't enough money to have it all done how she wanted. She'd had to settle on lots of it, and she now knew better than to blindly trust people like that.
Just who do you think you're fooling, huh Jackie? she let out a sigh of self resignation. Even with all that done, she'd still feel off. "Sod it." she said, burying it as always. "There's gotta be something to eat around here." Her eyes cast about the room, looking for something but only finding the bedding and the datapad. Neither of them sounded award winning, so she settled with just picking up the pad instead.
She flicked her thumb across it's surface madly as she skimmed through the contents. Where was the damn kitchen? Surely there was a map or something? Where was the damn thing? The damn thing was like a ba-jillion pages long.
"Frack this." Jacklynn said throwing the damn thing on her bed, missing and hit the wall instead. "Frackin shee-it." She picked it up, flipped it over and checked the screen. "Fhhooooo." Jacklynn let out a sign of relief, she hadn't broke the damn thing. This time she lightly tossed it onto the sheets near the pillow.
Her hands slapped together with a clap, "Alright time to go exploring." Jacklynn moved to the door... nothing.
"urgggggghhhh", Jacklynn groaned at the annoyance as she swiped her hand over the door sensor to open it. Alright, now we go, she thought as she set out to try and find the kitchen.

Just as she got one foot out the door, a disembodied voice broke out from somewhere in her room,
"Hello, Jacklynn. You seem frustrated. How may I help you?"

Seeing a 200 plus pound girl jump out of her skin and spin about in a panic, must have been a sight for whoever had snuck up on Jacklynn. Her eyes rapidly focused and unfocused searching the room as fast as she could. "Ravette?! What the hell you doing on my wall?" she said not too kindly as she walked back into the room and right up to the wall, punctuating her last words with her finger on the screen displaying MOMO's face.

"Actually, my name is MOMO." the little Ravette said smiling with amusement, "Now please, turn on your sarcasm detector as I inform you that I am here to stalk you."

Jacklynn put her fists on her hips and looked at the little holo-tart skeptically. "You're not serious? This is that -" Jacklynn brought her fingers up and did the quoting gesture with them, "- 'Observation Period' thing isn't it?"

"Of course not." MOMO replies, "Your observation period is primarily covered by humans. I'm just here to help you."

"Well that's reassuring." Jacklynn said with a trace of sarcasm, "You're not going gonna just keep popping in just to see me waiting for the bus are you?" 'Cause if you get off watching my using the potty that's gonna piss me off' she thought.

"There aren't any buses on OPICS 45 station."

Jacklynn brought her hand up to the bridge of her nose and rubbed her eyes. "Fine, I get it." she said giving it up. "You did me a solid back there with Enforcer Puddle, so I'll forget you scaring the hide off me. Whacha need MO?"

"I do believe that was my inquery first. Your vitals and emotional theory statistics alerted me of high levels of frustration or anger." MOMO clarified.

Jacklynn's eyes glanced over at the datapad she'd tossed earlier. "Nothing major, just trying to get a snack. Bastards didn't give me anything before they shot me into the slammer, I'm practically starving here." Jacklynn said exaggerating, she really just was searching for some comfort food, but Ravette didn't need to know that.

"My scanners say that you aren't hungry, though you may have an appetite. Unfortunately, I have no way of assessing one's appetite at this time, with any accuracy. I can help you find the cafeteria if you like." the little face on the wall said, trying to be helpful.

"Sure MO-mz, you're a life saver." Jacklynn said accepting the little holo-cuttie's offer, She probably hadn't meant to scare the bajebus out of Jacklynn, probably just lousy timing.

"Very well." MOMO said confirming Jacklynn's wishes. "Please exit your cell, and go left. There will be a blue light to guide you."

Jacklynn looked at the little smiling face. Ohh what the hell, might as well just check and see. Turning around, she made sure to swipe her hand over the sensor to open the door, before she went out into the hall. Sure enough there was a little floating blue orb with a glowing flipping set of rings orbiting it's surface. "Huh, neat trick MOMO." Jacklynn said looking back into the room at MOMO on the monitor.

Her voice comes from just the orb, "Thank you. Follow me."

"Sure thing." Jacklynn said following the little moving nav-beacon, She heard MOMO's voice down another hall, and when she turned the corner she caught the sight of another identical orb accompanying another prisoner. "huh." Jacklynn said noticing that the other orb had a different number, Jacklynn's Nav-Beacon read β-73. "So do we all get our own personal Navi?"

"I find that assistance drones are the most efficient means to assist multiple people at the same time."

"So, do I get to keep this drone? Like, is it mine?"

"Actually it is mine." MOMO said ruining that hope. "But should you need it, you have but to ask."

"NeatO, so I could keep it? Promise I won't eat you or anything." Jacklynn said wishing she could take back that last bit after it had slipped out.

"You may, so long as my drone isn't tampered with or suffers damage."

"Awesome!" Jacklynn says trying to grab the thing, and succeeding. It was made of some kind of hard meta-material. The rings kept moving, but where purely holographic. "Sweet, thanks!." Jacklynn said totally finding the thing interesting, she tried not to wonder what the Navi would taste like. Probably couldn't chew it anyway, weird super materials nowadays. "So can you project other things instead? Like maybe a super tiny avatar or something of yourself?"

The little orb hovered higher and was immediately covered by a mini-Ravette. "So long as you don't step on me."

"You're soo ADORABLE!" Jacklynn said letting out a very high pitched squeel as she brought the Mini-MOMO to face level.

"Why thank you Jacklynn, that is very kind of you to say. My appearance is designed by one of the main stockholders of OPICS-45. I am a combination of his three beloved daughters, of which I have discovered they are not pleased about."

Well that was awesome and stuff but Jacklynn wanted to squeeze the little adorable MOMO, but sadly she was just a little orb. Jacklynn put the orb on her shoulder and cleared her throat trying to not keep from obsessing on her new NAVI. That didn't sound bad actually. "I'm gonna call this version of you NAVI, that sound fine by you?"

"That is perfectly fine, shall I enter 'Hey Listen!' as a prefered greeting phrase?" MOMO said making some obscure reference that went way over Jacklynn's head. When Jacklynn started to look at her wierd face, MOMO said "That is a joke."

"Uhhhh, O-K." Jacklynn said still confused, "How about we just find the kitchen for now?

"That way." The little Mini-MOMO said pointing, and with that they went to the kitchen.

She stood in her doorway, awaiting the new Warden's greeting and inspection. Her bed was made, her tools put away, her workbench serviceable, though a current project was out on it. She was fairly tidy in things, old habits from another life.

The talk amongst the guards put the new Warden a female. Her lips quivered for a moment as she pondered what Nguyen would make of having a female in a position over him. He was a chauvinist twat, secure in his ignorance. Her first months here she'd been lucky that she hadn't had him around when she'd had to defend herself. Apparently, he didn't care about wrong or right if a woman defended herself, as long as the woman "didn't overstep her position." Oh, he'd heckled her when he'd learned of the incidents, but his opinions--about anything--mattered to her about as much as the last bowel movement she'd had and got the same treatment. Flushed.

Lacey paced in her room as she waited for the new warden to show up. There weren't enough interesting faces here, or at least not enough Alpha. And there wasn't anything interesting to draw except faces here. Not like she had many opportunities to draw - she was only occasionally able to get drawing materials, though everything she got was dull, no sharpened pencils, nothing.

As the warden appeared, she stood before her door and took a long look at the warden, memorizing her face. She was... well, she was beautiful. That was a face worth drawing. Lacey smiled. Perhaps she could be convinced to give her some drawing materials.

Leo looks ahead as the transfer ship lands. This will be his home for the rest of his life. At least he has his contacts still in place. He looks around at the scared faces of the new people coming in. Rookies, at least his intake will be a bit easier. He already has his microchip and his uniform size has not changed.

He gets his room assignment and arrives at his cell. As he expected it was empty and bare. A little bit to bare for his taste. That is fine he has plenty of time to fill it up. A voice cut in over the comm. A new Warden, anyone is better than that old man they had before. She was pleasant to the eyes as well. He hopes she has the muscle to back her up. She is going to need it with the sex depraved men around here.

“Dat Warden is beautiful.” Leo says to the cell next to him. “Leo is name. You want sometink, I get for you.” He sits on the bunk and waits for his time to go for lunch.

OPICS 45 Station -- 4pm

Warden Krelian has only been present for a few hours when all of her hours of peacetime is interrupted. Of course, her "peace" does not in any means reflect relaxation--she has a lot of paperwork she has to do and hundreds of staff and enforcers to meet and deal with.

With her notepad open before her, glowing into the dim room and lighting up her face, Krelian is just placing up all of her ideas for the Enforcer meeting that is coming up. She has been careful to include each thought that comes to mind every since she landed...the Warden has even made sure to include the subject of MOMO's appearance.

As she finishes placing up another suggestion towards the OPICS 45 currency system, she almost falls completely over as a large rumble can be heard. The deep groan of the station is far from her, so it is only heard in the distance with a dull sound, but she can imagine that anyone nearby must have some pained ears.

Of course, the sound is accompanied with a tremor from the station, itself, shaking violently from whatever could have caused that noise. It sounds quite disturbingly like an explosion. Grabbing on to the edge of the desk in her new office, Warden Krelian manages to remain on her feet just barely. There is no doubt that there is definitely something wrong as an alarm echoes throughout the station.

MOMO's voice speaks aloud to the prisoners. "An emergency protocol is in effect. All prisoners please report to your cell blocks at this time. Please avoid corridors NRS 9 through 15 for your safety. If you need directions to re-route to your cell block, go to your nearest console. Thank you."

"What's happening, MOMO?" Krelian asks, alarmed. She crosses her arms across her chest.

"Warden Krelian," MOMO responds, "There seems to have been an explosion near the construction area within the main NRS corridors. The outer hull has been severely damaged and has left a hole with the diameter of 23 feet. I have sealed the doors to maintain our atmosphere. Detecting: Internal compartment depressurizing. Detecting: Debris exiting through the hull breach. Detecting: No criminal activity near damaged area. Detecting: Two prisoners trapped within the sealed area. Requesting permission to release emergency equipment to extend their estimated survival chances, which are currently 0.0003%."

"Shit! Access granted," Krelian scrambles out of the office, moving as quickly as she can down a hallway as she realizes she has no idea where she's going--she still has to learn the station's layout. She opens up her map on her communication device, struggling to concentrate on where she is with the loud alarms still going off. "Dispatch the two nearest enforcers to the area with suits. We've got to get them out alive. Release automated drones to recapture debris and bodies of any prisoners that have been killed."

"Affirmative." MOMO replies, "Casualties are undetermined at this time."

After the new warden made her pass around the cell blocks, the prisoners were soon free to go about their business once again. Kurt decided to spend a bit of time tending to the hydroponics station he was assigned to. With a lively song playing in Kurt's mind, the spunky prisoner made his way to the seventh station. There, he was greeted by the familiar array of growing carrots that appeared to be well on their way to being harvested. One supervisor of the farm noted Kurt's appearance but he never approached him. The man simply went back to working on a crossword puzzle placed on his lap.

Kurt didn't pay the administrator any mind; the two were already on good terms. Kurt went about his regular routine of checking the water level in the reservoir, the flow rate, nutrient levels, and the air content. It wasn't long until the water would need to be transferred, so Kurt volunteered to monitor the process. With a word of thanks, the administrator left the station to take a quick piss. As the nutrient drained water filtered out of the plant containers, a low but clear rumble is heard as the station shook harshly.

Kurt held onto the nearest solid object attached to the wall or the floor. The shaking didn't last long, but it felt like a good 30 seconds until it stopped. Kurt's heartbeat jumped after the tremors ended; he knew a shaking like that was never good, although there was no way it could have been his fault. Kurt quickly checked on the carrots, happy to see that everything was fine.

Of course, Kurt and the other prisoners were instructed to return to their cell blocks. Kurt's initial instinct was to resist, thinking that staying locked up in a cell would mean imminent death if the issue was as bad as he thought. Still, Kurt calmly walked back to his cell, wondering what could have happened. NRS 9 through 15 were undergoing construction, as far as Kurt remembered, so it was possible a mechanical failure of catastrophic measure had occurred.

(ATTN : Alpha block/Warden visit)

- Warden Visit 2h30-3h PM -

As the warden finally made her appearance in the block she was in, she stood in front of her door ready to see the new face. Although Allanae said nothing, she did smile of satisfaction. This woman proved to be interesting and strong... the type that would often be perharps optimistic. These were always the most fun to see break. But those who can't break are so much more valuable and interesting... the type she'd want to stay alive to observe and hear their heart beat forever.

It's then that the transparency of the door desactivated and a video from the bot that was holding a camera in front of the new warden started streaming the video in each cell. Allanae looked at the video with much interest as the warden started to speak. ''Ma'am it shall be then... shorter and cuter.'' She told herself. It just picked Allanae's curiosity on what could change with this new warden.

After the Warden was done with her visit, she went to finish a little chore she had to finish and then went back toward her cell.

- 3h45 PM ~ 4h PM -

Having reached her cell once more, she started reading a book that had picked her interest by a lot. All remained peaceful until a sudden large vibration and noise happened. ''Oooh.... are we in trouble ? '' She asked with a smile, wondering if momo would answer. She then heard the message by the warden. ''Ummm.... my my sounds scary. '' Allanae said as she flipped a page with her finger on the pad.

''If it were to be some kind of UFO kidnaping, you can poke me if you need someone to fight and play hero. '' She said on some kind of amused tone that showed it was probably a joke. Not that she would mind some action though. Allanae knew however the enforcers would probably just do their job however. She wondered what the heartbeat of a UFO would be like though.... Now she really hoped it was a UFO.

"MOMO," she said quietly, "what seems to be the problem? Or is there going to be an announcement?"

"This corridor is unfinished in its maintenance," she said standing up. "Please note it for those to follow." She gathered up her stuff. "Lead the way."

She pondered what the emergency was. "Any chance you might tell me what the emergency is?" she inquired. "The construction was going on in that area, and from the quaking, I'd imagine significant structural damage of some sort happened?"
