GtR Sanctions

The Sanctions for the Gateway are listed below and will be enforced by all GtR Staff Members on a case-by-case basis. If you have any questions regarding the sanctions, feel free to ask a staff member or to post in this thread. If you believe you have been treated unfairly by a staff member in any situation, feel free to contact the Founder, Leah7, and she will assist you.



A reminder is a "verbal" warning, either via post or PM, from a staff member when a rule has been broken. Three reminders of any kind will result in losing a warning point in your profile.


A warning is when you have violated the rules too excessively and will be considered to be closely watched by all staff members. This is represented by the bar in your profile; you have a total of three points.


A ban blocks you from the forum and disables your ability to post, though you can be banned from the chatbox only under certain circumstances. If you have lost all three of your warning points and have been deemed "unforgiven" by the staff as a whole, you will be banned from the overall forum permanently. Some bans may be permanent or temporary, depending on the situation and the judgement of the staff. Others may be automatically banned if it is believed to be necessary. If you wish to appeal a ban, email a staff member.


The ability to have an avatar is a privilege and will be stripped from you if you post an avatar that is in violations of the rules and/or it has not been removed after a staff member has requested its deletion or replacement. Explicit avatars are not accepted.


If private messaging has been misused in any fashion as a violation of the rules, your ability to send private messages will automatically be disabled. If you wish to appeal this action, email a staff member.


If the RP rules listed in the guidelines have been broken repeatedly by a member in a RP, they will be isolated to the Basics and Earth Realm, unable to post in a role-play for as long as the staff decides.
