Crossfire RP

Vincent looks at Serena, he was happy to see the smile on her face again. She is going to need more like this.

"I hope you guys have fun tomorrow. So what plans do you have for your anniversary?" Samantha asks.

Vincent scratches his head. "Nothing too intense, I just want to spend time with Serena." Honestly he's been too busy to plan anything special.

Jasmine rubs her arms and runs in. She looks around the main room. "This is gorgeous. I love the decor in Langoria, it is so colorful." She walks over to the reception. "Hello we would like a room for the night."

"Welcome to the Snowberry Inn. I will have a room ready for your Majesties shortly. Please rest in our lounge, there is a fire going to warm you up." Sheldon points over to the lounge. "We also have a variety of drinks and food to help warm you up."

"Thank you, I am sure we will enjoy the warm up." Jasmine walks over to the lounge with Brandon.

"I thought we could at least go out to dinner. I don't know what else right now. I guess we will see what happens tomorrow." Serena said.

"As long as it's time spent together I would think would be all you needed." Justin said.

Brandon thanked the man and walked towards the fire with Jasmine. "They set some nice things for us out. I wonder if they were waiting for us." He said. "At least it's warmer in here."

"The Langorian people are known for their kindness." Jasmine looks at the selection of drinks. "They probably have the fire going in here at all times. She picks up some snowberries and puts them in her mouth. "I have forgotten how good these are."

"Don't worry my Love, we will definitely go out tomorrow." Vincent takes her hand and kisses it.

"Do you really think he will tell you what he had planned? Not Vincent, he is too barfy for that." Lucas jokes.

"Just wait until you get girlfriends pipsqueak." Vincent teases. "You will be happy with the barfy lessons."

Brandon takes a hot chocolate from the selection they have and takes a few of the snow berries to try as well. “These are pretty tasty. I don’t think I have had them before. If I have, it’s been a long time.” He said. He takes a sip of his hot chocolate and looks at the fire. The people may be known for their kindness, but their royalty could not be far from it. He would not let his guard down in this goddess forsaken country.

“He has to get a girl to like him first.” Allistar said laughing.

“Oh go ahead and laugh, but when all of you boys are married and have children, it will be us who will be laughing at you.” Justin said with a grin.

“Oh don’t scare them into not having kids. Thank you Vincent, that makes me feel better. I’m sorry I’ve had all this time off and I’ve not even planned anything for our anniversary.” Serena said with a sigh.

Jasmine drinks the hot chocolate and eats more snowberries. On the outside she appears to be a gracious guest, only her eyes show her nervousness.

Sheldon returns before too long. "Please follow me Majesties, I will show you to your room. I instructed for your things to be brought up. If you need anything, please let me know." He waits for them to follow him.

The room they were put in is a suite. From the appearances it is the best room in the hotel. "This is a nice room, thank you. If we may get some dinner brought to us. No dessert necessary, thank you so much."

"Don't worry about a think, my love. I have everything planned." Vincent winks at her.

"See I knew he had a plan." Alistar smirks. "Oh we are getting new neighbors too. I hope they have a girl."

Lucas makes gagging noises.

Brandon breathes a sigh of relief once Sheldon left the room. “I never knew playing the nice guy would be so hard. I only hope I don’t lose my cool in front of the royals.” He said. He took Jasmine in his arms and hugged her. “Your eyes always tell the truth to me you know.”

Serena laughed. “Who knows Lucas, they may have a girl your age that you might like. You never know.” She said.

“Ohhh, Lucas going to get a girlfriend?” Jonathon asked.

“But I thought Lucas said girls had cooties? You mean not all girls have cooties?” Samuel asked confused.

"You won't lose your cool, I have seen you before. You are more diplomatic than I. I hope you don't mind having dinner in the room. I just don't want to be around the people. I cannot risk getting sick around them." Jasmine goes over to her overnight bags and retrieves her toiletries. "I am going to take a shower before the food gets here. Would you mind starting a fire?" She kisses Brandon before going into the bathroom.

"As girls get older they get rid of the cooties." Vincent explains.

Jonathon gets silent for a moment. "Dat is why Mommy, or our aunties, or cousins have cooties."

Samantha gets up from the table covering her mouth. She brings out the dessert it is an apple pie. "I hope you guys saved room for dessert."

Brandon walks over to the fire place and looks above to see a few matches. He stacks the firewood just right and then lights one of the matches. It takes two of the matches to get the fire started and a few breaths of air but in about five minutes or so he has a fire roaring in the bedroom. “The fire is lit.” He said as he walked over towards the bathroom. “I don’t mind eating in the room tonight. Our first night in Langora should be a good one. I know the people are good here, but they are still loyal to their royalty. I need to behave. The closer I get to the capital city, the more I feel my blood boiling. I won’t let them get the best of me.”

“Your mommy does not have cooties! I hug and kiss you all the time and you have no marks from where I do it.” Serena said lifting an eye brow.

Justin had to cover his mouth as well and stifle a laugh. He cleared his voice and looked at Samantha. “Desert sounds perfect.” He said. “Nana doesn’t have cooties though, she never had them.” He said winking at the boys.

Jasmine exits the bathroom in her pajamas. "Don't let it consume you. We have to present the evidence, and I am going to need you for that."

There is a knock on the door. "Room Service." The female voice calls. Jasmine opens the door and a woman rolls in a fancy cart. "Just put it outside the door when you are finished. Have a good night, Majesties."

Jasmine looks over at Brandon. "Shall we see what they sent up?"

"Dat must be it because mommy and aunties are so old" Samuel replies.

"Dessert is delicious, Mom." Vincent adds. "After dessert, we have to go home boys."

“I promise not to lose my cool. I know I have to keep in control.” Brandon said. He walked over to the cart and looked at it. “I think they gave us the nicest cart they had in the house. I guess they like to treat the royals as if they are no better than anyone else. I wish I could tell them how wrong that is.” He said.

He lifts the top off and sits it on the table. “Looks like Lasagna with garlic bread and a salad. They didn’t send any desert like you asked.” He said as he put the plates on the table so they could eat. He pulls her chair out for her. “Here, why don’t you take a seat so that we can eat? You look tired.”

Serena was slightly hurt by Samuel’s last statement. She wasn’t that old, considering she was still in her twenties. Her lower lip poked out but she didn’t say anything.

Justin patted her on the back. “Don’t take it to heart, Serena. Sometimes little boys say things because they don’t know any different.”

"I am a bit tired. Look they also gave us some more snowberries." Jasmine begins to eat. "I am just so glad we are not staying at the castle. We only have to see George and Lenora at the meetings or ball."

"Hey we are old to all kids." Vincent shrugs. "Now give everyone hugs and kisses before we go. Don't worry you will be seeing them tomorrow."

The boys run to give hugs and kisses to everyone. Then Vincent takes them and Serena back to the house. "It is time for bed boys, go upstairs and wash up. We will be up there to read you a book in a book."

“They must have seen how much you liked them.” Brandon said as he took his seat. He begins to eat as he listens to Jasmine. “Once the council begins underway and the charges are bought against Anton, they may hold him in his room until they know what to do with him. I don’t want to go to that annual ball, but I’m certain we need too for diplomatic reasons.” He said as he ate.

“The boys were good tonight. I’m glad they behaved.” Serena said as she took her coat off. She watched the boys run upstairs to get ready for bed. “I can’t wait for the day that girls don’t have cooties. I love the boys but sometimes the things they say hurts without them even knowing.” She said. She yawns as she walks into the den. “We should head upstairs and check on them.”

Vincent puts his and the boys' coats away. "Hey they are not being hurtful. I mean at their age, you probably thought 20's was old too." He kisses her before following her upstairs. "I think it is your night to read to them. I will get the bedroom ready."

"If Anton is even here. He may be hiding out in Ells still. I cannot believe they hate us this much because of Levi." Jasmine sighs. "Seeing them will not be fun either." She finishes the lasagna and begins to eat the snowberries. "I must calm down, or I will never sleep tonight."

“I know they aren’t. That’s not what I’m saying. I know they didn’t mean it like that. You know what forget it. I’ll go upstairs and read them a book.” Serena said with a slight attitude. She turns around from him and heads to the boys room where they are picking out a book.

“Mom, can you read this one to us?” Jonathon asked.

Serena took the book from him gently and smiled. “I sure will. Now come on and get into bed so I can read you this book.” She said. She tucks them in and then begins to read to them.

Brandon had finished his salad and wiped his mouth off. He stands up and walks behind Jasmine where he begins to massage her shoulders. “You don’t want to get too stressed out tonight. You don’t want it to bother the babies.” He said as he kissed the top of her head. “Don’t worry, if Ells is harboring a wanted man, the council will demand that they hand him over.”

Vincent goes upstairs and sighs. What the hell did he do wrong this time? He starts the fire to get the room warm. Then he goes to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

Jasmine purrs upon feeling the massage. "That feels so nice. You know just how to relax me. I think we should get some rest. We will have an early morning to get to the royal city."

Serena makes sure the boys are asleep before walking out of their bedroom. She then sighs before walking down the hall and into her and Vincent’s room. She can hear him in the bathroom getting ready for bed. She warms herself by the fire as she changes clothes for bed. She snapped at him earlier and didn’t even know why she had. But he hadn’t understood what she meant. She curls up on the bed and pulls the blankets up over her head. She then begins to cry.

Brandon smiles and stops the massage. “Let’s go to bed shall we? Let’s make sure you and the babies get a good night sleep before we have to travel tomorrow.” He said as he offered her his hand.

They walked over to the bed together and get snuggled up in bed. “I will miss being able to hold you like this when the babies begin to get bigger.” He said.

Vincent finishes in the bathroom and enters the bedroom. He can hear Serena crying. He thought it was a good day. He scratches his head and goes into bed. He cuddles up to Serena. "I love you so much." He kisses her cheek.

Jasmine snuggles up to Brandon. "It will be sooner because of the twins. For now though hold me close." She lies her head on his chest and closes her eyes. She concentrates on his heart beat and quickly falls asleep.

Serena wiped her eyes before laying her head on Vincent’s chest. “I had such a wonderful day and all it took was for one thing to knock it all to hell. I’m sorry I snapped at you earlier, I don’t know what’s wrong with me.” She said. She closed her eyes as she held on to Vincent. She then cried herself to sleep.

Brandon smiles as Jasmine falls asleep. He watches her sleeping before he begins to tire himself. He then closes his eyes and falls asleep.

Morning comes and he feels Jasmine getting out of the bed to race to the bathroom. He took a deep breath. His fear was that they would find out she was pregnant while they were here in Langora. That’s if they didn’t already know by now. He gets up and walks into the bathroom to rub her back. “Besides the morning sickness this morning, how are you?” he asked.

Vincent falls asleep with Serena in his arms. He is going to have her visit Cadence to help with her. His eyes open up the next morning. He carefully gets out of bed, so Serena is not disturbed. He goes to the boys room and gets them dressed.

"I did sleep some. This is another reason why I am glad we are staying in a hotel. I cannot get sick in front of everyone." Jasmine stands up and rinses out her mouth. "We should get ready to go. Sooner we get there, the sooner we can be done with it."

Serena doesn't feel a thing when Vincent gets out of bed. However before he walks back into the room she is awake. She lays there calmly and comfortably as she yawns. She desperately wants to have a wonderful day today with Vincent. She tries to smile hoping she can make that happen.

"Hopefully a path will be made out for us. If not it may take longer to get there. We will have to ask." Brandon said. He hugs Jasmine and kissed her forehead. "Don't worry, everything will be just fine."

They get ready and then repack their over night bags. The guards come by for their bags as they head down for breakfast.

Sheldon looks up at Brandon and Jasmine as they cam down the stairs. "Majesties, we have changed your carriage to one that is more suited for the snowy weather. Don't worry about the Moldovan carriage, we will keep it while you are in Langoria."

"Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. We really appreciate it. We will be leaving right after breakfast." Jasmine looks at Brandon as they walk away. "Do we trust them? I know it is typical Langorian behavior."

Vincent enters the room. "Oh you are awake, I was going to surprise you with breakfast in bed. They boys are getting dressed for overnight. They are so excited." He sits on the bed and kisses her. "Happy Anniversary, my love. No rush to get ready. I want you to have a nice relaxing day."

"All I can do is have the guards check the carriage over. It's not a matter of trust versus us holding our own. If we don't take their carriage though it could be much later in the day before we get to the capital city. Look out the window and see how much it snowed." Brandon said as he looked out the window.

Serena smiled at Vincent after he kissed her. "I want today to be a wonderful day for us. I don't care how it happens, i just want it to be amazing." She said. "I'm sorry I've been so hard to deal with lately but I thank you for sticking with me." She said as she laid her head in his lap.

Jasmine looks out the window and shivers. "I am glad I packed some sweaters.' They sit down and a person is there to give them their drinks. They order their breakfast. "It is really nice of them to think of us though. I wonder what makes their carriages different."

"I love you so much. I may not understand what you are going through, but I will be here for you." Vincent plays with her hair. "You may want to be prepared for the boys. They will probably pounce on you after they get dressed."

The door creeps open an they boys run in. "Mommy, you are awake!!" Jonathon bounces on the bed to her.

"have you not seen a Langoran winter carriage? Normal carriages won't last long here in the snow but the Langoran ones are made for easy travel. They don't have wheels on them but a sled like bottom instead." Brandon said as they bought out breakfast.

Serena tenses up waiting on the boys to jump on the bed. She then laughs and tickles them. "I was expecting them when they realized I was awake." She said to Vincent. "And how are my precious boys this morning?"

"Happy to see you!" Samuel said as he hugged his mother.

"That is so sweet of you." Serena said to the boys.

"You forget I don't spend a lot of time in snow places. Even in Rosario, they don't have carriages like that." They finish their breakfast and head to the carriage. Brandon helps Jasmine into the carriage. She cannot help but being nervous as they get closer.

Jonathon hugs Serena too. Vincent smiles at the boys cuddling her. "Boys go wash up and go downstairs and check on breakfast. We will be down there shortly."

They hug Serena quickly before running downstairs. "I think they have two speeds, go and sleep. Go ahead and get dressed, we have an appointment at noon."
