Note: Tentatively titled for now and it probably won't start for another week or two.
Take a journey that will span across countless worlds, beyond time and space, beyond what you may imagine. Forces rise and culminate behind the links to all worlds, but to what end, no one knows. Some of you may seek fame, some of you may seek fortune, or glory, or power, or the mysterious. Whatever you may seek, all roads lead to the Dimension Witch Yuuko who can grant any wish you may have...for a price equal to that which is given. Shall she grant your wish?
This RP follows the general guidelines of GtR, is semi-literate, and absolutely no godmodding. Anyone wanting to participate must both create a character and a world in which he lives to be made in the accompanying thread. You must have a good understanding of your character, for at some point, they may be called to travel and in order to do so will be required to give up something important to them. Keep this in mind.

Hobbies: plays clarinet, cooking (good at barbecue and basics, bad at pastries and desserts), wood carving
Combat Skills: Master swordsman, knife-thrower, excellent hand-to-hand skills and marksmanship
Supernatural Skills: Legionator--able to use lost souls to summon Legion, powerful beings of Chaos. Grant her additional abilities. Note: Since the trip to Minrai's realm, she now has the means to summon them without sacrificing souls.
Legion, while powerful, are not invincible. They take damage and that uses up their allotted energy. Too much energy loss and they will disappear back from this realm until Danielle has enough soul energy to summon them again. She can also temporarily invoke them, called an Assist Summon, which still uses power, but markedly less, for a quick attack. Finally, fully summoning reduces her might, reducing her strength by a quarter, as long as the Legion is summoned. She can only summon up to two of the different Legions at any one time. Legion get stronger the more their power is invoked and the more souls they accumulate, this makes the link with the Legionator stronger and grants them more of their power. Enough time and she forms a permanent bond. She carries the crests on her at all times. If they were to be taken from her more than thirty feet, she would immediately lose whatever benefit whichever crest is taken or lost--unless she has a permanent bond, in which case, she has that power permanently, regardless.

Back Story: The Order of St. Overia, a holy order composed of priests and knights that guard the sacred books and maintain order in the world. One of their most decorated knights, Danielle Bancroft, served the order flawlessly. Until she learned the truth and was betrayed. The Order kept the sacred books, not for the sake of peace and order, but to monopolize power.
She became a fugitive, hunted by the very people she used to fight for and alongside, taking refuge with the Maidens of the Silver, who granted her sanctuary. Undaunted, she sought the means to take down the the leaders that had corrupted their order. She sought out the Dark Glyphs.
"'Tis the darkest Glyph thou barest. It sacrifices stray souls to summon unearthly force. Unearthly force shall obey and serve thee. 'Tis named "Chaos Legion"
She obtained the 6 Glyphs: Guilt, Malice, Arrogance, Hatred, Blasphemy, and Flawed. With them, she gained unearthly might and power that allowed her to take on the forces against her. Except one. Issachar, the holiest priest in the Order, who held the Sacred Glyphs of power. Her rebellion playing into his hands, he stole into the crypts and broke the seals, releasing ancient abominations unto the world. She brought down the corrupt Order members, but the damage was irreparable. The Order was no more.

Appearance:Tall, about six feet, and well toned. His hair and eyes are a very dark brown, and he’s wearing a deep red shirt and black pants, combat boots, and a thick black thigh-length coat. His hands and body are covered in scars ranging in size.
Personality:Suspicious, impulsive, yet meticulously careful. A free spirit in every sense. Bit of a sadist and far too snarky for his own good.
Hobbies: Card games and magic tricks.
Combat Skills: Excellent hand-to-hand combat skills, good knife fighter and shooter, great at mid-fight improvisation. Knows a number of techniques for stealth assassination.

Back Story: Trick started his career as a man-for-hire when he was 17, a year or so after his family's farm was burned to the ground under suspicious circumstances. In New York he ran into a mob boss named Salander, and the man took a liking to the kid and took him under his wing, where he earned his nickname Trick for his unpredictable nature and love of cards. When he was 22 he was done with the place, but Salander wasn't done with him - his mansion burned to the ground one night with Salander locked inside.
From then on he wandered the States, eventually coming back and repeatedly working jobs for a man named Maxwell Thorne. Trick's actions unintentionally gave Thorne more power than Trick ever intended, and Trick scrambled to attempt to keep Thorne from coming out on top, but every attempt to assassinate the man ended in pathetic failure. He was eventually forced to flee out of the country, taking up residence in Russia where he has since thrived. He has developed a reputation of being a high-risk, high-reward hire; assuming he'll actually do the job he's hired for, he'll do it well.

Personality: Wraith is a bit rough around the edges. He's seen things in this life and it's altered his perspective. He tends not to deal with other people. In his experience, most of them aren't any good and are only after something if they bother coming to you. The one exception, being his late wife. He isn't one to go looking for trouble but if trouble finds him, he won't hesitate to neutralize it. He is ruthlessly efficient. But given his grim life and line of work, he will sometimes lighten the mood with humor, if only to keep his sanity.

Enhanced Strength - Wraith is significantly stronger than the average human.
Enhanced Resilience - Wraith can withstand remarkable degrees of damage and has a built of pain tolerance to accompany this. His body is resistant to burning, his bones are harder than the average person, and his skin is thicker. He's been known to take bullets and walk it off.
Accelerated Healing - While nowhere near immortal, Wraith does recover from damage at an alarming rate and this has slightly slowed his aging process as he also is immune to most illnesses.
Energy Production - Wraith is a walking battery, constantly producing pure energy that needs to be kept in check. Otherwise he's nothing but a living bomb...and bomb that will explode forever...so essentially a star. This is regulated using the disc-like implants that run down his arms and spin, as well as one in his chest. He can use this unlimited energy, however, to power various alien devices, including weapons and transportation.
Back Story:
In the mid 1800's American West, Kyle Wraith was a bandit who had righted his wrongs, done his time, and made a new life for himself, complete with a wife and ranch to call his own. However, that would change on the day that the world came under attack by mysterious invaders. They came and destroyed near everything. Wraith was caught in a blast. He barely survived. He awoke on some sort of table, surrounded by strange creatures. After an episode, believing he'd failed to reach heaven and believing these things were demons, he is caught and all is explained to him. He was the only survivor of that attack. Even his wife was dead. The ones who attacked were of a race of alien beings from a far away world in the distant future. In that future, they waged war on Earth...and promptly lost. Soon they developed the technology to travel through time. They would strike Earth as early in its existence as they could without compromising their goal. That time would prove to be the 1800's. They won.
The alien creatures that'd found Wraith were of different species. Their worlds had already fallen to these invaders. But it was their undying mission to return them to their rightful owners. But they believed the Invaders had different plans for Earth than conquest. They just weren't sure what. Wraith was barely alive so they brought him to the future and fixed him, making a few improvements along the way.
Wraith strikes a deal. If they point him in the direction, he'd make sure they pay for everything they've done. But in this twisted future, they are the dominant species on Earth and rule with an iron fist. Wraith isn't on his own but the key to stopping them isn't on Earth. It is somewhere among the stars. And so Wraith and these aliens are bound for the cosmos to seek the weakness of their mutual enemy.

When Calm: White hair, white-blue eyes, normal nails, normal teeth, thick, white cape.
Personality: Quiet, reserved, professional, distrustful, bluntly honest, observational, and distant.

Combat Skills: Bowstaff Proficiency, Stealth
Supernatural Skills:
Always: Slightly increased speed, the ability to breath and speak under water, but with normal human swimming capabilities, transformation upon mood, rather than will, and flight for a short period of time (full flight for up to 30 minutes).
When Angry: Slightly increased strength, flight for a slightly longer period of time (full flight for up to 60 minutes), increased hearing, and increased jumping and balancing capabilities.
Back Story: Mia was a normal human in modern, Earth times living in New York as a teacher until a evil woman decided it was okay to kidnap her and inject random chemicals into her "just to see what they would do." Due to how long it took Mia to escape and the amount of chemicals injected into her body, Mia has transformed into a creature she barely understands herself. She's trying to learn more about how to handle her new abilities and she mostly has to learn to handle her temper. When she's angry, she transforms into a creature that has much less patience, much less of a conscience, and she is barely in control.

Personality: Arien is loyal and honest. She hates confrontations but is not a stranger to them. She tries very hard not to rely on anyone and not to let anyone down. She is also realistic and speaks in a straightforward way. Her feelings aren't easily hurt, but her past is a touchy subject.
Arien values her weapons, gifted to her by her parents. Without them she wouldn't be nearly as capable as she is now. She also values the markings on her face and stomach, defining her as a member of the Sven family. It is the only tie she has left to them. The leaf she tucks behind her ear is important as well. It was picked from the largest tree in the land and is the only life remaining from the Forest of Light.
Combat Skills: Arian is an archer but prefers to use her sword. Both of her weapons are enchanted and inflict more damage while hitting the target with razor-edged leaves. Her attacks are very precise and quick.
Supernatural Skills: Arien can generate and control plants, heal nature, enchant weapons, and heal herself and others when she is strong.
Back Story: Arien was one of few of this generation's entrusted protectors of the heart of her world. It was a large forest full of life, and hidden within it, was an orb of light that brought prosperity to the land. One day, a mob of dark elves attacked and her allies fled intimidated by their numbers. Arien however, stayed to fight. Despite her efforts, without her allies she failed, nearly dying. The dark elves found the orb and destroyed it using their dark magic. Since then, wars have broken out trying to reclaim the forest, but all attempts have failed. Knowing no matter what they do they orb of light will not return to them, many elves are joining the dark elves, including Arien's parents. Arien feels deeply betrayed by her people but refuses to abandon them. Her quest now is to return the orb of light to where it belong in hopes that it will bless the land as it had before. She seeks help from Witch Yuuko, her only hope of reclaiming what has been destroyed by the dark elves.

Combat Skills: Arian is an archer but prefers to use her sword. Both of her weapons are enchanted and inflict more damage while hitting the target with razor-edged leaves. Her attacks are very precise and quick.
Supernatural Skills: Arien can generate and control plants, heal nature, enchant weapons, and heal herself and others when she is strong.
Back Story: Arien was one of few of this generation's entrusted protectors of the heart of her world. It was a large forest full of life, and hidden within it, was an orb of light that brought prosperity to the land. One day, a mob of dark elves attacked and her allies fled intimidated by their numbers. Arien however, stayed to fight. Despite her efforts, without her allies she failed, nearly dying. The dark elves found the orb and destroyed it using their dark magic. Since then, wars have broken out trying to reclaim the forest, but all attempts have failed. Knowing no matter what they do they orb of light will not return to them, many elves are joining the dark elves, including Arien's parents. Arien feels deeply betrayed by her people but refuses to abandon them. Her quest now is to return the orb of light to where it belong in hopes that it will bless the land as it had before. She seeks help from Witch Yuuko, her only hope of reclaiming what has been destroyed by the dark elves.

She is very kind to those who deserve it and quite the geek/fangirl. She get's flustered easily when complimented. She has a very creative and imaginative mind.
Hobbies: Gaming, any kind of sport, socializing, drawing, playing musical instruments, drinking tea and listening to music.
Combat Skills: Eva is skilled in close combat, her physical aptitudes are above human capabilities, especially her acrobatics, agility and speed. She uses two dark steel gauntlets which each have two retractable 10 inch claws made out of light steel. (These are minerals in her world, they are basically a top notch material.)
Supernatural Skills: Blacklight magic: Eva and all of her species all are magical elemental humanoids that resemble humans. They are nicknamed the Beings of Balance because their elemental magic is always two opposite elements, which come in stances (in this case, Eva has a Light Stance and a Dark stance, when in her light stance, her appearance is the one indicated above, but when in dark stance, we color scheme basically is reversed, white becomes black and vice versa). However, very few have Eva's elemental package, Light and Darkness.
Her magic's color continuously alternates between black and white in a weird pattern. Darkness attributes allow Eva to;
1. Shadow Form: She becomes a living shadow, kind of like a specter, she can dissipate and reappear a short distance away, physical attacks pass through her without inflicting damage and she may create up to one shadow clone while in this form. (However she cannot attack while in Shadow form, her attack (if physical) will only pass through her enemy, thus needing to deactivate the form before striking.
2. Dark Matter: Eva can manipulate dark energy to use it against her opponents in diverse ways.
Light:
1. Holy: Eva can manipulate light energy which is used to heal her targets wounds, only physical however. (both Holy and Dark matter are taken from her magical essence within her, think of it as a big glass ying yang, one side filled with light and the other darkness, as she uses dark abilities, the dark vessel will diminish and vice versa. Also, since Eva's race is one of balance, if she uses to much of one of the two magics and not enough of the other, this will start affecting her behavior in the sense of being evil or good). Also she cannot heal herself.
2. Righteous Support: Eva can cast multiple support spells from changing ones mass to very light in order to increase their speed to increasing ones attack power by enhancing their weapons or fists. Eva can cast these spells on herself.

The two sisters made amazing decisions together, ones that made it so they werent as much at risk of extinction. She commonly wears her captain's garb, that being a short shirt with a leather belt and a red cropped lacy top with her hat, large and authoritative with a personal Jolly Rodger on it (a skull adorned with bows on either side) and a large red bow on the side. She also wears an overcoat that leaves the majority of her chest exposed but covers her arms and flows down to her lower calves. She usually wears boots with fur on the top of them.
Personality:She is a bit of a character and far from one-dimensional. She can easily be seen laughing and smiling at bars, socializing and having a grand ol' time. She is quite the extrovert and a born leader who hates being defied and won't take no for an answer!
But on the other hand she has her soft side for sailing and children. There's something about the smiling hopeful faces of children that brings her back to the moment the realized her calling was from the Sea. Often times when she is alone on her small ship she looks out to the horizon with nostalgia and remembers the time she met her father and the day she inherited his crew.
She has an extremely strong sense of loyalty and family that really contests no other, as pirates only really have their mates. Because they are all she has left after what happened, the souls of her mates are extremely precious to her.

When Louisa Port was 20 years of age she was of high standing and belonged to a dignified family. She had everything a young woman could ever ask for: money, infamy, suitors as far as the eye could see... But one day her father passed away and her mother went into seclusion. From there her life spiraled out of control. She no longer had any funds to support her lavish lifestyle and no one to comfort her. She resorted to leaving the mainland and joining a band of misfits plundering around the Seven Seas for money, where no rules but loyalty and anarchy reigned. She had enjoyed the lifestyle and abandoned all hope or wanting for a normal life. Louisa realized how much she hated the humdrum of civilization compared to the riveting life of a Pirate!
There she fell in love with the Captain of the Crew: Jaune Waldrop, Le Cornu Epeiste. He was dashing, the epitome of swagger and confidence. He had a way of speaking to her and only her that lured her in indefinitely. After months of secretive courting, conception was achieved. Once the small child began to grow inside of her, he had told her why he had chosen her to bear a child.
She was special and had a welcoming body, welcoming enough to harbor a demon child which would inevitably carry on his legacy as The Horned Swordsman. She stared in horror, knowing now that she was to birth a demon. It was then that she requested to go back ashore and try to start a life without him, needing to try her best to keep this child from causing the harm that he had. She would raise it in the way she had been raised, with civility and morals and self-control. But it wouldn't be that easy..
CHILDHOOD
As Penelope grew she grew to despise structure. Every lesson in manners and poise taught by her mother or grandmother fell on deaf ears.She was rebellious and snuck off during designated reading hours or left in the middle of a suitor luncheons, to which her mother was obviously furious. As much as Penelope could possibly explain how much she just couldn't stand living like this, all she got was "you can't understand why you need this but you do. Mother knows best."
One evening, outside their house on the beach, a knock came on Penelope's window and she was stirred from her already light slumber. She went to investigate and saw that it was a strange man with trim facial hair and golden eyes, tall and dark. He wore lavish yet dirty clothing and every step he took he chimed with heavy jewelry.
"You, girl. You want to get out of here?"
To a 10 year old girl there were no questions that needed to be asked. She had gotten out of bed and got one black nightgown to change into and got all the money she could from her mother's bedchamber before slinking out into the night with this man.
ADOLESCENCE
Each day she spent on the water with this man was like a dream come true. She got acquainted with marine life and friendly and loyal people she called family. And family was closer than she thought when she found out that the man who whisked her away in the night was none other than Jaune Waldrop, her father!
She grew to be tough and hold her own in a fight. She learned to gamble and drink and smoke with the best of 'em. She blossomed into a buxom young lady and was deemed The Vixen by her fellow crew members when she expressed distaste for her birth name around her 16th year. (Needless to say, the man who called her a Vixen was made to walk the plank by her father. But she grew fond of her title and maintained it.)
After she turned 18 her father told her that her rebellious spirit was because she had restless demon blood coursing through her veins that hadn't awoken yet. When asking when it would show true form, he told her that he wouldn't know and that it would happen eventually in some way.
She looked up to her father until the day he was dragged underwater by a marooning enemy ship. For nearly a year she was devastated and the ship had no captain, no direction. It drifted aimlessly both figuratively and literally. But one day she woke up after a hard night of mourning to see a hat with an altered Jolly Roger and her Father's sword alongside a note that sloppily read "We need a Captain. Can't think of anyone better than you."
EARLY ADULTHOOD--TODAY
She eagerly took control of the crew who happily obliged to follow her every command to the death. Ale, as much as one can drink in their lifetime, gold raining from the heavens, and floods of blood from their enemies on the deck. It was a good triumphant life until she was visited one night by a Haute Demon.
It spoke to her in the sounds of nightmares, telling her that it was her time to take on her father's work and that there was only one way for it to happen thanks to her demon half blood. He unleashed hellish fire and darkness upon her ship, leaving her crew helpless against the danger. The Mer Mariee was sinking and she could do nothing but go down with the ship unless she surrendered. And she had no choice.
She slumped helplessly, kneeling to the Haute Demon and told him to do as he wished with her in order to save her crew and her ship. With those words the Demon smote every person in her crew with one fell swoop and their souls retreated into Cas d'Esprit. The darkness and fire faded and the Demon gave Penelope the sword.
"You are all that can harbor the souls now, as your father has perished. But you must awaken your demon. And death to your human existence is all that can do this." He struck her down with a single touch and she woke up later, as if it were all a dream.
She was wandering around her watery home with not a single crewmate to be seen. They were all gone. Not in the galley, not in their rooms, not on deck.. Even the navigator was gone.. then she knew that what happened was not a dream. She looked down at her cutlass and held it close to her. "I'm so sorry, everyone.. I didn't want this to happen..." and but one response was given.

Once he saw his child couldnt make it properly in the world he decided to offer him a chance at something bigger in life, and so he became a test subject at 10 years of age. He was the first success, his ability was blood based and the ĺt wasnt long after that, that the Usa broke out into war with allied countries and that Castiel took over for a few days, just enough to spread out his blood (which had fresh super human toxins in it) in small quantities to hundreds of others, thus starting the pandemic and the new world. After hearing what castiel had done Simon broke away from every one and became a lone wolf in this changing world, new super powered nations were blooming which gave place to a massive ongoing territory war, ravaging earth in the process.

He was the first success, his ability was blood based and the ĺt wasnt long after that, that the Usa broke out into war with allied countries and that Castiel took over for a few days, just enough to spread out his blood (which had fresh super human toxins in it) in small quantities to hundreds of others, thus starting the pandemic and the new world. After hearing what castiel had done Simon broke away from every one and became a lone wolf in this changing world, new super powered nations were blooming which gave place to a massive ongoing territory war, ravaging earth in the process.

Appearance: same as earth but post apocalyptic and territories are seperated by nations formed after the beginning of the new age.

World Humanoid Species: Much more aggressive and at war.
Additional Info: The USA government started developing ways to make humans into super humans originally for military ends. However, other parties wanting their research didnt take to kindly to the US having that advantage and not sharing. This broke out into a war in which the toxins used to infect the human body and turn them super humans was distributed by a certain Castiel who was the patient 0. There are three Nations: BleekFall, The Crescent Dominion and The Dream Pact.
