Finally having reached the end of her rather long hair she reaches back and sets down her long-handled hairbrush and opens the rather small jewelry box 's bottom drawer. For a second her hand hovers over the different pieces inside till she pauses over the bell clasps. 'Yes, let them hear me, I won't hide by any means.' Picking them up she carefully separates her hair into colored bands and clasps the chimes on.

"Assemble" she says leaning her head down on the desk. She can feel the weights pulling back on her hair, straightening it. Slowly so as to avoid any tangling they begin to braid her hair. Eventually she feels the clasp cinch the end and the bells hook to it. She lets out a sad little sigh, her rest was so wonderful. Standing up she feels the familiar weight of her hair settle.

'Wonderful as always' she thinks as she picks up the chest bindings. Another little sigh at the though of putting them on again. 'If I don't I will regret it I'm sure. After all Safel did rip my shirt the last time' She skillfully wraps them around her small modest chest, not trusting to her magic to do so, she had had one unfortunate experience where she had nearly suffocated, and another where the clips and attached to a rather sensitive area that wasn't covered.

Carefully she clips the ends to the rest and then ties them together behind her with her magic. "What to bring, what to bring. Staff, Crossbow, Shield just in case, the blunted spear head, that should do it. Sometimes I wish my magic was more useful in a fight. Why couldn't I hurl fire or lightning?"

She reaches into her clothes chest and pulls out a old worn sleeveless blouse, an old faded red and slips it on, and adds her wide leather torsolette for a little extra protection and keep jerks from ripping her top off, it had happened once. The memory bringing a rush of anger to her cheeks.

Carefully she puts on her linking bracers, they would be necessary to mount the crossbow and the shield later. "Ohh now where did I put my battle boots? The ones with the reenforced heels and toes?" scanning the room for the wiry rascals. "That's right!" exclaiming as she jumps onto the bed and rolls over to peer down at them laying on the floor.

Stretching her leg up she pulls them on roughly, first her right then the left. Sitting up she stamps her feet down to make sure they are all the way on before tying them. Jumping to her feet she grabs the sack with her gear. Settling it on her shoulder she opens her door, grabs her 3 part staff from its hook and lets it swing shut on her way down the stairs.



Standing in front of Valoria's guild hall she hears the clamor of the many member inside training. It constant hum almost taunting her, she had vowed not to enter the building till she was a member. Dropping the sack to the cobbled road beneath her the metal clatters. Tapping the staff hooked to her belt she pauses looking for her. Grabbing a leaving guild members arm she looks at him, grinning.

"Where's Mia? Asleep again?"

The boy confirms it and she dismisses him when he attempts to try a lousy pick up line. Taking a deep breath she walks over to the large brass gong off the side of the road. Taking a half step she jumps onto her left foot and spins her leg around backwards, slamming her metal heel against the gong with all her strength.

Stepping into the center of the road leading to the large guild doors, she notices the noise has silenced inside. They recognized the guild being challenged, heck some even probably recognized her. Shouting out towards Mia's window and the people inside she issues her challenge:

"MIA!!! I'M BACK, THIS TIME JENTRA'S HERE TO WIN!"

Mia wakes with a start at the sound of the gong, her hair standing up every which way. For a moment, the expression is that of alarm, but then it is one of extreme irritation. She stands quickly, throwing on her usual attire and muttering under her breath about the "annoying, meddlesome Jentra girl" and what a pain in the ass she is.

The prior twelve challenges have been with several guild members, all of which generally had a great amount of skill. However, only the newer and lower members of the guild are usually up this early....so she'll just have to handle the brat herself.

She scowls, doing a few stretches before moving down the steps and through the Guild window--if the stupid brat becomes a member she can replace it. She most certainly can't replace the precious sleep that the woman has now lost.

"Look, brat." Mia greets her with a grumpy expression and frazzled hair, "I want my fucking sleep. You'd better be good this time, or so help me..."

She takes a fighting pose after placing on a pair of black gloves, which appear to have tiny holes in them.

Standing there, she waited tapping her feet. Heck Mia was taking her sweet time. The sound of shattering glass, draw her eyes to Mia as she lands. As the glass twinkles against the cobbles around Mia she pulls on her black combat gloves.

"Look, brat." Mia greets her with a grumpy expression and frazzled hair, "I want my fucking sleep. You'd better be good this time, or so help me..."

"Assemble!" she mutters unhappily as she takes a fighting stance, her staff screwing together as she grabs it out of the air and settles into a fighting stance. 'Great I woke the Bitch up'

Raising her arm towards Mia she grins cockily, "Wrong side of the bed huh?" she kicks the bag open beside her with he back foot letting the contents spill onto the road. She was ready if Mia closed, she would assemble her crossbow and shoot her. She was far enough back... she hoped.

Jacobi is at the bar area, his eye scanning the room. He keeps an eye on all the members. Just looking for a reason to keep them in line. The weather outside is dreary at best, and it seems the members are taking advantage of it by training. He hears a shout from the courtyard. The voice he recognizes, it is the same young lady who has tried to get into the guild before. He goes over to the window and watches.

He lets out a laugh as Mia appears actually jumping through the window. Oh boy she is really pissed. He kinda feels bad for the girl and yet applauds her at the same time. She has the perseverance to keep trying to get into the guild. But she is going to learn a valuable lesson, there is no worse opponent than Mia when she is in one of her moods. And judging by her entrance, she is not very happy.

Jacobi almost wishes he could be involved in the fight. It’s been too long since he’s beaten down a rookie. He leans against the window to the courtyard and watches the impending fight with interest.

Mia lets out a feral growl as she steps to the right. She begins circling the brat as she duplicates herself and surrounding her with ten Mia's. They all look equally pissed--and one of Mia's copies taunt her with a challenging tone.

"Which one are you going to hurt, brat?"

All of the Mia's charge into the center of their well made circle, raising up to punch and aiming at the brat's head on all sides. This...is going to be stress relieving.

As Mia stepped to the left she called out to her magic, "Assemble - Crossbow" the parts forming up over her outstrenched arm. Already Mia had taken a couple steps, and as she did her form plit apart as her copies began to encircle Jentra. The crossbow clicked as its lock clicked, loaded. Already there where three, and they where starting to split. Taking a guess she clicks the release and fires at the one to her far right.

The bolt passes through the copy, its image pausing as it glitches for a second. 'Damn!' Jentra cursed having missed Mia already, she wasn't about to get another shot at this range. Already the copies circled around her there where ten.

"Assemble" she says her extending her hand to the bag. Which one, which witch is which?! her magic was building the shield, the pieces building as the Mia's ran at her. Their arm's pulled back as they readied to punch her, her legs crouching down ready.

As they came on, as their arms start their forward motion, Jentra jumps up and flips her whole body upside down. Her legs kicking up as she uses her arms to propel her whole body up to the top of her staff.

'Nothing again!' she says as her assembling shield's parts follow her motion upward behind her, passing through the copies, except for one. 'Lucky break!' swinging down she attempts to kick Mia in the back and use her to jump away like a springboard.

Mia is ready to punch the brat, but she flips herself upwards and kicks through a bunch of her copies with desperation. Mia smirks with confidence and the copies all follow suit--and the pieces of what she later discovers to be a shield rise upwards from the bag that the girl had dropped.

Mia's mistake was disregarding the relevance of that bag--one she wouldn't make again. She jolts as one of the pieces cut through her arm. "Son of a bitch!"

Blood drips from the slash as she is pulled from her focus of the bag as she senses the air movement from behind--she turns and grabs Jentra's foot with her gloved hand and holds tight. Her face still looks pissed as she pulls on the girl, pulling her body into her and dragging her into her extremely muscled embrace.

She begins to squeeze as she whispers into Jentra's ear.

"What's next?" She challenges.

As she swung down Mia leans just right, and Jentra feels the Guild Master's hands grab her and pull her into a holding embrace. Their eyes lock, as Jentra looks at her startled and afraid, after all this was the worse outcome she could have hoped for. Her concentration broken, the pieces clatter mostly constructed, fall to the ground.

The Mia full of anger, begins to squeeze Jentra roughly making it hard to believe, she did deserve it after all. Jentra's hands still worked and she tried to shake her way free, uselessly as she truly put her hand to her left arm, and what was on it. Mia's breath.... Morning breath blew against her cheek as she whispered, "What's next?"

Pulling back the winch she asks the question quite seriously:"This morning... did you brush?" just before she locks her lips against Mia's. As she kisses Mia quite passionately she punches her in the stomach and activates her crossbow. Thank goodness it was a blunt bolt, it was still going to be nasty.

Mia has the girl, now, and she is about to ask the brat if she's about to yield, when....

"This morning... did you brush?"

Mia hesitates, her brows furrowing as she's about to ask: "...what?!"

The question cannot come, however, as the girl kisses her...and she kisses her good. Mia feels the impact against her stomach as it ruins the amazingly enjoyable moment. She likes this brat.

Mia releases her, her arms going to her stomach as she lands on her butt from the impact and pain. This time however, she's smiling.

"You're in." Mia says, "But you gotta kiss me more than that if you wanna stay."

She slipped from Mia's muscle-y arms as she fall backwards from the rather dirty blow Jentra had just given her. Surprising enough she was smiling, there she is arms covering her stomach, on her butt, and she is Smiling! What else could you expect from a guild master.

Then she heard the words she had wanted to hear for so long, "You're in" and Jentra spun around to hide her tears from Mia, "But-" Jentra turned her head and looked over her shoulder as Mia continued "-you gotta kiss me more than that if you wanna stay."

Smiling she flips her hair over her shoulder "What the hell...". She turns around walks up to Mia and sliding her hands behind her head and her back, and leans down.

"You do deserve an apology" she whispers sultrily as she kisses the Guil... No Mia, and even gives her a little tongue, after all it was a great day clouds or no.

Jacobi watches the battle unfold. It looks like another swift victory for Mia. Then Jentra does the unexpected and kisses the Guild Master. Jacobi’s mouth dropped and his eyes widen. She just earned a little more respect with that move. He only wishes he knew what was said before that.

He walks over to the doorway and watches as the newbie kisses Mia again. He walks in clapping his hands. “Congrats, you made it in. Prepare because you are mine now, newbie. And the only place I am distracted by a kiss is in the bedroom. Good luck seeing that though.”

He holds out both hands one for each woman to help them up. “Well Mia looks like you made a new friend.” He smirks at the Guild Master.

Mia stands, and as usual, she does it without Jacobi's help. She is still smiling, however, which is an extremely rare sight to see at this time in the morning.

"Well, I'm impressed. She's the only other member besides you that has managed to knock me down. Never been knocked by a complete brat before. Nicely done."

She puts her arms over Jentra's shoulders after she gets up and nods her head towards Jacobi.

"This is your new trainer, brat. You're just going to love each other." Mia says sarcastically as she enters the Guild Hall.

Mia, Jentra had to admit was quite a good kisser. Heck she even though she herd applause.... 'Wait that is applause' she realizes. A rather imposing man comes to the two of them, clapping and smiling.

'Ohhhh great' she thinks as he starts talking about training, and being her teacher... Giving him a grin she says playfully, "There are kisses, and there are Kisses."

It was then as he gave her a hand up that she noticed the guild symbol over his eye. There was only one member of the guild that wore it like that. The scar further confirmed it. She felt Mia wrap her arm over her shoulder.

"This is your new trainer, brat. You're just going to love each other." Mia says sarcastically as she enters the Guild Hall.

"Love?" she says humorously, "Who ever could love a beast?" she grins as she taps Mia on the shoulder and watches her walk into the guild hall, Mia was unexpectedly happy. Looking at him she smiles.

"Jacobi Rovegno, seems the Amazoness left me alone with the Beast King." she leans a little towards him as she walks towards the guild hall. "And for the record, I typically prefer men." she smiles, "Mind helping me gather up all my junk?"

{Attn: Jentra}

Jacobi nods as Mia brings Jentra over to him. He cocks an eyebrow as she acts nonchalant around him. “You heard of me, good. There is one thing I have to say.” He bends down and looks her in the eye. “A word of advice newbie, be afraid, be very afraid…for the stories that are told are NOT exaggerations.” He stands upright again. He sticks his head into the guild hall and whistles loudly before yelling. “The newbie needs some help with her junk already.”

A few guild members come racing out. He looks back at Jentra. “Get settled, then if you are ready find me.” As he reenters the Guild Hall he can feel his blood pumping. He cannot wait to get his hands on her, maybe in more ways than one?

She watched him as he spoke about fear, yes she had seen him quell a few rambunctious trainees a few months ago, when they started a minor fire in the guild hall. She hadn't been the target of his power but even then she had been afraid, not so much by his yelling but by the eyes of those trainees.

He leans his head into the guild hall, and yells for some of them to help her. He turns around looking at her his eyes filled with a slight desire. “Get settled, then if you are ready find me.”

'Seems it is true he loves fresh blood' she finds herself smiling as she shakes her head slightly, the bells ringing softly. "Disassemble" she orders her gear, the parts hovering into the sack. One of the boys handed her the pack. "Thank you" she says flashing him a smile, his cheeks coloring.

"HEY JACOBI!" she calls after him, "SURELY NOT EVERYTHING IS EXAGGERATED!" she says giving him a devilish grin and wink. "I'D HATE TO BE DISAPPOINTED!" Jentra laughs as she walks off towards work waving behind her, giving him a nice view as she walks away. Perhaps after work, Beast King she thinks a slight tremor of anticipation running through her, 'He is Famous after all.'

Jacobi walks back to the bar. Before he can get there, he hears the newbie calling out to him. He pauses in his step, but does not turn around. A smirk appears on his face as he looks over his shoulder with his magic eye and sends chills into her body. *Two can play at that game toots.* He thinks rather enjoying the view she was giving him.

He walks over to the bar. “Nothing like a newbie to get the blood flowing, eh Matthias.” The bartender sets a shot on the bar for Jacobi. “Yep she will be a fun one to break.”

"ASSEMBLE!" she said pointing one hand at the sack of nails and the other at the boards at her end of the docks. The boards hovered into place as she concentrated, and the nails began driving themselves into the wood. Once against she looked at the blue prints on the stand beside her.

Walking down the dock she had just completed alittle more of, she pulled out her measuring rule, unfolding it and writing down more measurements. She called out behind her yelling at some of the lower end workers what she needed to extend the main braces. It was by far the heavier work, what she was hired to do.

Having alittle reprieve she took a drink of water from one of the many barrels along the workyard. She still had chills from Jacobi's little playful banter he had fired at her as she walked away. 'I'm not relishing having to fight that one.' she thought once again cursing herself for not having offensive magic. After all one did have to be careful not to kill other members, so she couldn't play with even half of her really neat ideas.

Dipping the towel into the barrel she pulls it out and settles it around her shoulders, letting the water drip over her body. Sure the bindings left little to the imagination, but she didn't want to build up a sweat or wear all those battle clothes for work. So what if a few passerby looked her way, heck most of the builders in this city didn't look twice anymore, they had grown accustomed to her.

One of the guys, Malik, her sub-foreman called her back to attention with the all ready. Walking back over she rose her hands over one of the heavy brace beams and moved it into place with her magic. The guys anchoring it as she picked up another and hovered it into a more dangerous position that would take several men and winches to hold there.

It was tiring, work and she had to take breaks from time to time but it really did help build up her endurance. She had to help brace a few with pure muscle, during a few of her rest breaks so she didn't tire too much. It had been hours and she was having trouble holding them in place anymore. It was then that the foreman told them that was it for the day. Gathering up her things she laughed with the guys as they talked, and sent some banter her way. Using the towel she cleaned up as best she could before grabbing her blouse from one of the rails.

"No need to stop by home on the way, got alittle training to get in." she said as she looked up at the setting sun, its light already to dim to really be working by. "See you guys in the morning!" waving Jentra says goodbye to her buddies.


Walking into the guild she scans it over. All the banners, all the training gear, it all seemed like home. She had been waiting along time for this. It was getting alittle late, and unfortunately she didn't know all that many of the people in the guild yet. She couldn't believe she had even forgotten to get the tattoo earlier, heck she didn't even know the guy's name who gave them.

Looking around the area she spots the familiar face of Jacobi sitting there at the bar. Walking over she sits on one of the stools next to him. There was quite a gap between him and the next person on either side, "Guess they really are trying not to catch your eye Beast." then adding to the bartender "Give me one of those watery ales you have, I got some training later with him, need my pretty head intact before I get there." she said ordering her drink, the bartender setting it before her. "Not sure why! He's liable to crack my head open anyway!" Jentra laughed to the bartender putting the coins in his hand, then grinned at Beast as she settled her gloves on the table.

"So I need some directions, Beast."

Jacobi spent the day in the training room taking on challenges from the lower ranks. Whether they had weapons or not he always bested them. Of course he played with a few for fun. He would build up their hopes only to dash them. Most of the higher ranks were out on various guild quests. After he had worked up a sweat her cleaned up and went down to the bar. He sat down and the other members moved a few stools down. He loves training days.

Then she walks in, she struts into the bar and takes the stool next to him. She makes cracks to the bartender. He shakes his head. “Damn straight, I hope you aren’t looking forward to working tomorrow. Directions? Well first let’s get you branded, follow me.”

“Damn straight, I hope you aren’t looking forward to working tomorrow. Directions? Well first let’s get you branded, follow me.” Jacobi says sinisterly.

Tipping her drink she drains it in one go, then slams it gently on the counter as she takes a deep breath. 'Damn that shit was weak' she gives the bartender's back a spiteful look as Jacobi get up from his chair and starts off.

"Branded? Sorry but this is one piece of ass you will just have to wait to see Jacobi" she grins one hand slapping her hip playfully before she slides off the stool following him, only a half step behind on the side with his normal eye. It was rude to walk in someone's blind spot.

Jacobi rolls his eye the smirk not leaving his face. “I hope you are ready for pain, and I don’t mean the pain I am going to put you in.” He leads her through the guild, not watching to see if she follows, but aware of her presence.

He walks up the stairs to the middle of the hall. He opens the door and bellows. “Hey Chyna dear, we have a new recruit for you to brand. Seeing how she likes to talk about her ass so much that may be the perfect place for her tat.” He waits for Jentra to enter. “If you are still able to train meet me in the bar.” He walks away laughing.

Jacobi rolls his eye the smirk not leaving his face. “I hope you are ready for pain, and I don’t mean the pain I am going to put you in.” He leads her through the guild, not watching to see if she follows, but aware of her presence.

Jentra laughs at his well timed comeback, as they walk up the steps and into the hall. He throws open the door and calls inside, making another ass comment. "I'd wouldn't be able to sit next to you tonight if I got it there you Beast. I'd let you stay but I think Chyna and I are going to be busy for abit, I'll catch you later." she teases gently, and smiles softly as he leaves.

"O-oooo a guildy!" she feels the girl grab her pants, "Jacobi says, it goes!" Chyna attempting to take them off.

"Hun about that, we aren't listening to Jacobi, what girl wants to brand their ass? No body, give me a second ok and I'll show you where I want it"


Tapping him on the shoulder she waits patiently till he turns around. Jacobi turns around kicking back the shot. "Are you ready for training or has your body been through enough?"

Reaching on the counter beside him she picks up her gloves and pulls them on her tone playful but her hands not seductive in the least. "I see you kept them safe for me so thoughtful Beast, I think I could go a round. A little hand to hand perhaps?"

His eyebrow cocks. “You have guts newbie, I will give you that. Maybe that is why Mia let you in. First tell me where you got the tat. It would not be fair for me to hit you where you are hurt. We are just training after all.

Jentra grins at Jacobi and leaning in whispers in his ear on the good side, "Beast you can't ask a lady that kind of question. That is unless you really want to know?"

Jacobi shakes his head and roars in laughter. He claps her back playfully, but at the same time testing her. “You got some guts newbie, I only hope you know how to keep them.”

Peering over her shoulder by the bar door she grins fiercely at Jacobi. "Be nice to me, or I won't be able to buy you a drink after we're done."

Slowly she walks towards the training mat, pulling her shirt off as she goes, her chest wraps keeping her modest in front of all the boys.

Jacobi follows her surprised that she is pulling off her shirt in advanced. His eye scans her trying to figure her out. She is smart enough to wrap her body. Loose clothes and breasts make easy targets. Oh and he loves to grab the breasts. He gets to the mat and stands across from her. “Well what are you waiting for winter?”

Turning towards her Jacobi doesn't even take up a fighting stance, "What are you waiting for winter?"

Sliding her feet apart she crouches in a ready position and pulls her left arm back and extends the right forward in a blocking position. Standing ready, waiting for him to take up his stance she asks, "Am I on Offense or Defense?"

"You are the one who wants the hand to hand, so come try to get me." Jacobi smiles as he waits for her to attack. He is a bit disappointed that she does not have her bag of tricks

Beast's lips and even the reluctance of his posture, give her a clear sight into his emotion. Not letting down her guard she does relax slightly before opening her mouth again, "Beast even a woman without my particular experienced past could tell you're not really enthused about this sparring. Tell me, what gives?" Jentra looks at him concerned. Then as a thought strikes her, her eyes take on a dark murderous look. "It's because I'm a girl isn't it?"

"Aw hell no that isn't it at all, look at Mia. She is a female and can kick my ass." Jacobi shakes his head fervently. "I want to see what you are fully capable of, and with the current situation I am unable to gauge that."

Crossing her arms she glares at him still not quite believing him, after all he might be trying to talk his way out of the hole he just dug. "I'm worn out as hell! I've been working my proverbial ass off at the docks, in the rain no less. Fuck Beast I'm pretty much all tapped out, but even I now that my 'magic' won't be worth half a shit in combat." she shakes her head her cheeks flushing slightly as her anger and embarrassment go hand to hand. "I know you'll mop the ring with me, I expect it Beast. Yet still I want it, I need you guys not the other way around."

"What kind of victory is this going to be?" Jacobi rolls his eyes. He then cracks his neck and narrows his eye at her. "Fine if you want me come get me."

"I'll let you in on it Beast: " she stretches and settles back down, putting aside her emotions slowly. "even if you snuff me out tonight, I'll still have my Victory." She slowly steps forward towards him, watching him carefully for movement.

"What are you going to dance around? You are the one that wanted the fight. Come get it." Jacobi waits for her to attack.

She pulls back her left arm and aims a punch into his stomach, close to his hip on his blindside. "Watch!"

Jacobi keeps his eye on her. He sees her drifting off to his blindside. He grins as she approaches deftly dodging the attack. He waits until she is off-balance and pushes her down. "Never assume that a person is weak on their blindside."

A sharp openhanded strike to her back, Jacobi knocks her facefirst towards the mat using her momentum against her. 'Good! Jentra thinks as she slams her hands down onto the mat, and twists her whole body whirling her legs to hit him, hopefully in the side or face while he gloats.

He sees her twist her body around, but does not move. He wants to see how hard she can hit. He does turn his body a little to make sure he controls where the hit lands. His expression does not change as her feet connect. “Good, you are resourceful. Show me your next move.” He was a bit impressed. She is showing signs of being a good student.

Jentra is rather disappointed but she was expecting Beast to be able to take a hit. 'Tough hide beast' she thinks as she lands on her feet and extending her leg out in a line sweeps it towards his legs, pivoting on her right foot to do so. Sending her elbow out too as her body spins around.

Jacobi watches as Jentra lands on her feet. She starts to swing her foot to him. He steps forward and blocks her leg with is. He anticipates her elbow and ducks slightly, blocking the elbow with his arm. Her momentum is gone with his blocks, but he is not done. He takes the opportunity to punch her in the side hard.

Jentra feels the impact, feels him step into her as he blocks both shots. Then she feels him beat her bloody side like a butcher tenderizing meat. She feels him grab her arm, next thing she knows the air is knocked out of her and she coughs trying to regain her breath as she is slammed onto the mat. He must have flipped her over his leg and threw her down, 'That must be it'.

He looks down at her trying to catch her breath. "Had enough for today sweet cheeks, or do you want more?” He winks at her and laughs heartily as he holds out his hand. He has to stop himself from slapping her ass. He waits for her half expecting her to hit his hand away.
