Hide and Seek

This is a one-on-one rp between me and EphPhoenix. Apologies if anyone else was interested!
I will finish this soon as I can, posting it up so Firebird has an example sheet.
Name: Laura Damariscotta
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: She's very short, standing only at 5'3", with a darker skin tone that speaks of some old Hispanic heritage. She has black hair that is cropped almost boyishly short, and dark, almost black eyes. She wears a dark, long-sleeved shirt and 'antique' jeans and Converse shoes that she found among the ruins and repaired herself.
Personality: Practical and not easily angered, she is very critical and mocking towards others, and usually prefers to keep to herself.
Magic Discipline (if any): Illusion
Weapons and other abilities: She is decently skilled with a knife, but other than that she has no real combat ability. She makes up for it with stealth - her small size makes it very easy for her to get into small spaces, and she's particularly good at passing unnoticed, even without the assistance of her magic. She's a good survivalist as well, skilled in trapping and hunting, and has been known to go off outside of the city for long stretches of time to live on her own in the wilderness.
Backstory: Born three hundred years after the Plague that destroyed civilization, she has lived her whole life alone with her father on the edge of the ruins of New York, ruins that had been converted into an attempt at organized society called 'Utopia.' From a young age, she showed a gift for magic, and her father did his best to help nurture that talent, training her in his own illusionary magics.
She lived in the city proper for much of her childhood, only venturing out into the wilderness a few times, up until Ian O'Leary took over the city-state upon his father's death. His new anti-magic laws drove Laura and her father to live on the outskirts, trying to avoid the notice of O'Leary and his guard. Laura herself took to living outside the city, leaving for longer and longer periods while her ageing father stayed behind near the city, until finally when she was 21 she left for the safety and freedom of the wilderness and never came back.

Name: Raziel Jenkins
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Wild, shoulder length sandy brown hair, gray-blue eyes, 6'0, lithe, lean frame. Wear's a sleeveless t-shirt, cargo shorts, and hiking boots.
Personality: Reckless, hopeful, curious, tinkerer, impulsive
Magic Discipline: Panterus; ups the user's physical attributes and senses on par with that of a panther.
Weapons and other abilities: Harbinger (tentative); a mysterious blade with properties both technological and magical. Survival knowledge, parkour, and hand-to-hand combat with some weapons knowledge. Also carries a few devices on his person.
Backstory: Outside of the city-states is lawlessness and brigands. Arcturus Jenkins was out in these wastelands when his camp was ransacked. Tracking the thief, he found a young boy child who had been living in these wastelands by his wits alone. He managed to learn that the boy had been in these wastelands since he was a baby, his family murdered at the hands of the thugs and cutthroats that lived here. Instead of dying, though, the boy had been taken in by a local group of thieves where he had lived until they ran afoul of one of the more ruthless gangs and were brutally slaughtered. The boy had been on his own ever since.
Arcturus took the boy in as his own, raising, training, and teaching him the ways of his tribe. His people had once guarded a blade that they were constantly trying to understand. Their people were attacked by a mysterious group who sought the blade and other technological marvels Acturus' people had managed to develop and/or recreate. Arcturus had been the last of them. When the boy had come of age, he revealed the sword Harbinger to him and set him out on a journey. Thus Raziel's adventure begins.

Magic Discipline: Kicking Red's Ass
Weapons and Abilities: A giant stick that's on fire!....and kicking Red's Ass!
Backstory: This guy is a person that is awesome...purely awesome. All he ever does is kick Red's ass...it's like...his favorite thing to do of all time. Yeah. And everyone loves him! Except Red, of course. I mean...obviously. xD SO yeah. OH. ANd he kicks Red ass!

Appearance: Pink and purple with sparkles and ribbons.
Personality: Needy.
Magic Discipline: Gettingwhatshewantsmancy. Strangely ineffective against Red
Weapons and Abilities: Magic princess wand and magic mod banhammer.
Backstory: Wanted really badly to rp with EphPhoenix and Red, but has been rejected. She now haunts the countryside with her wand and banhammer at the ready to strike down those who crush her dreams.
