Guilds Registration Thread

I'm beginning this role-play as the attempt to reboot the first attempt at this role-play plot--any and all are welcome to join, but non-posters will be ignored and the role-play will continue without. Additional RP Info can be found here: Guilds Discussion Thread
You don't have to be a magic user or a guild member, if you don't wish to be. Additionally, your rank will be of your choosing, so long as you have a viable back story to have good reason for whichever one that you prefer. Guild Ranks are F, D, C, B, A, and S. (F is a newcomer and is untested for how powerful they are and S is generally a Guild Master.)
Rules:
• You may have up to three characters--each with one, specific magic ability.
• Follow the RP Guidelines & GtR Rules.
• You cannot join the Dark Ascension Guild.
• Be specific in your character creation--I want ability details and examples. The clearer you can make it to me, the better.
• All Guild Creation and Guild Masters should be first approved by me.
• If your character is NOT approved, make the changes that are specified or you cannot role-play with your registered character.
• You must have approval to be of Rank S.
• Respect the RPM.
• You may use a character from the original role-play, but you do not have to.
• Each character's magic ability must have a negative "side affect."
• Characters cannot die.
• Humans only, but physical appearance is not limited to realistic colors.
• All available alignments are: Lawful Good, Neutral Good, Chaotic Good, Lawful Neutral, True Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, & non-blatant, evil characters that will not be any other PC's enemy.
- Side Effect Examples:
- Gray has the ability of "Ice Make," which allows him to make solid objects out of ice. However he has a couple side affects/character flaws that are based around his ability: He strips randomly and he has a difficult time with creating small animals or creatures of any kind.
Erza has the ability of "Equip and Requip," which allows her to summon her armor and weapons when needed, rather than carrying them around. However, it costs her a lot of money to purchase each suit of armor and weapon that she owns, as well as to repair them when damaged.
Mila has the ability of "chameleon," which allows her to blend in with her IMMEDIATE surroundings for a set time. However, she cannot change back to her usual appearance for up to three hours and her appearance doesn't shift upon environmental change.
Lucy has the ability of "celestial summons," but she happens to have made a contract with a celestial spirit that hates her guts and occasionally hits her, as well as her enemy with her attacks. Additionally, based on her contracts, some spirits cannot be summoned under certain circumstances or on certain days.
Natsu has the ability of "fire breath," but his power is limited in that he only has so much of his breath ability. When he runs out, he must eat more fire in order to continue to use his magic ability. Additionally, it has to be a "good" fire, because he is rather picky on his fire tastes. Additionally, he has extreme motion sickness and is incapable of using his magic effectively while on a ship, carriage, or horse.
- The Nine Alignments:
- Lawful Good, "Crusader": A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. She combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. She tells the truth, keeps her word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice and hates to see the guilty go unpunished.
Neutral Good, "Benefactor": A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with Kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them.
Chaotic Good, "Rebel": A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard of what others expect of him. He makes is own way, but is kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right, but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which although is good, may not agree with the morals of society.
Lawful Neutral, "Judge": A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and Organization are paramount to her. She may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or she may believe in an order for all, and favor a strong, organized government.
Neutral, "Undecided": A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to law vs. chaos or evil vs. good. Most neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias, rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such characters think of good as better than evil--after all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones.
Chaotic Neutral, "Free Spirit": A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. His actions may be unpredictable, but his actions are not random.
Lawful Evil, "Dominator": A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard of whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order, but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He prefers to rule, but is willing to serve and condemns others not according to their actions, but to their race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises.
Neutral Evil, "Malefactor": A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple. She sheds no tears for those she kills, whether for sport, profit, or convenience. She holds no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make her any better or more noble.
Chaotic Evil, "Destroyer": A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is out for simply whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized.

Combat skills/Magic Ability (if any): Freezing Dragon Slayer Magic. He is able to generate intense cold and manipulate frozen things at will, as well as resist natural and magical cold. However, he must eat "good" ice to replenish his strength, is weak to heat, and suffers from some motion sickness. He's also a good melee fighter, specializing with his fists.
Non-Combative Skills/Hobbies: He has great survival skills and enjoys making ice sculptures. As a Dragon Slayer, he has a heightened sense of smell, sight, and hearing. He also has an odd tendency to collect shiny things, even if it's just trash.
History/Back Story: He was raised by Glacyra the Freezing Dragon until he was nine, when the dragon mysteriously vanished. He wandered aimlessly for quite some time, hoping to find his foster mother, though he never did. Eventually he gave up on finding her and decided to see what the guilds were about. Being a talented mage, he was sought after by many guilds, but he turned them all down. Instead, he himself searched out a guild to join of his own free will; after doing some research he decided to join Walsh. He's known around the guild for being cold, but is a dependable teammate.

Combat Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Valkyrie- Whenever she holds any weapon, she becomes stronger, faster, more durable, and intimately knowledgeable with whatever weapon she is in contact with, fighting with it as if she's done so all her life.
However, she's also reckless and violently aggressive, which is in direct conflict with her demure, polite nature. She abhors fighting and generally prefers to find a way to solve things diplomatically. But the second a weapon is in her hands, she becomes a wild force of nature, thirsting for the next great battle.
Non-Combative Skills/Hobbies: bookkeeping, languages, ancient languages, accounting, diplomacy, calligraphy, interior decorating, horse riding, knitting. Basically what a young noblewoman would be brought up in. She also plays the harp and can sing.
History/Back Story: Neice to the king of Holstein. She was a favored neice and doted upon by both the king and queen. Sheltered, she grew up shy and demure, avoiding conflict and argument.
However, all of that changed one day when she had lunch with her liege. An assassination attempt was made; armed brigands had been slipped into the palace and made to kill the king. Sylmeria was terrified and huddled in a corner while the king did his best to try and stave off the brigands. One of the men made for the women and the queen pulled out two knives, one for her and one for Silmeria to defend herself to the last.
It was then that Sylmeria's lineage was revealed. A golden light flashed from her as the knife touched her hand and in an instant, she was making quick work of the brigands as if she'd been fighting all her life. However, they weren't enough to satisfy her battle lust and ten guards suffered at her hands before Sylmeria could regain control of herself.
It was the magic of Valkyrie, an ancient magic limited to the women of the royal bloodline and thought to have been lost. It terrified young Sylmeria, however, and she withdrew into herself. Unfortunately, her power made her a target. Other members of the royal family feared she'd be bumped up in line for the throne. Assassins and cutthroats assailed her. Fearing for their niece's safety, the king and queen sent her into seclusion. There, she was met with another attack and the house burned down.
Feeling she could not return to the castle and put further burden on her wonderful relatives, she disappeared into the night, determined to survive on her own. She went into the city and joined the local guild, though she hasn't been very successful due to her timid nature. Mostly, her room and board are covered for by the guild master, as she is great with records and his bookkeeping sucks. She is a favorite at the guild for her polite and sweet nature.

Occupation (if any): Caretaker for her grandmother. In her free time she performs at the local venues.
Skills/Magic Ability (if any): She is a healer. However she has to be careful because in order to heal she has to take on some of the ailment she is healing. The more serious the wound the more damage she takes on. She is a dancer and loves to perform for people. She has two steel fans that she can use for defending herself, but now are primarily props for her dance.
**Since it was asked for more details on her negative effects** Currently she is not a strong healer, so she cannot completely heal any life or death injuries. If there are complications to physical injures (such as poison or other things), she will take on those affects too. As she gets stronger, the more complicated injuries she can heal. Also the less the negative affects will damage her. She will never be able to regenerate any body parts. If an arm is cut off, it is cut off. As far as healing from magical damage. It is the same as the physical. So if she is trying to heal paralyze, she won't be able to move a body part. If she tries to cure blindness, her vision will be affected.***

History/Back Story: She grew up in a very tumultuous house. She is the only girl from a large family. Her brothers were always overprotective of her and that prevented her from having many close relationships. Once she became of age she moved away from them, wanting to become her own person. She keeps in contact with her youngest brother and parents. She changed her name and fled to the Sarrice Kingdom where she lives with her grandmother. Under her grandmother’s tutelage she discovered her healing magic. She now lives on her grandmother’s farm outside of the city and takes care of her and the farm. She does get into the town where she entertains the people with her dancing. She uses a fake stage name when she dances, Clementina. She also uses wigs when she is performing, to hide her true identity. She also hides her beauty when working on the farm and when she isn't performing. She does not belong to any guilds currently, finding them trivial.

Symbol/Tattoo Location: The symbol and tattoo of Valoria rests on his face, around his left, yellow eye. When his eyes is closed, the guild symbol is "complete."
Guild Rank: S
Appearance: Tall, broad-shouldered with one green eye and one yellow one. He has a long scar that runs from the outer corner of his right eye down across the bridge of his nose and down to his left jaw line. His black hair is extremely long--generally kept in a simple ponytail. He's always seen with a serious face--rarely smiles.
Home Country: UMS
Occupation (if any): Street Fighter for Valoria and competes in general tournaments professionally of various genres.
Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Jacobi has the magical ability known as "Eye of the Beast King," which grants him the ability to induce primal fear, despair, and dread into a target. The target(s) will experience things such as hallucinations, coldness, shivers down the spine, goosebumps, the overall feeling of "wrongness" on all levels, possible paralysis, and other such symptoms than can be brought on by fear.
This ability works best through eye contact, but it is not required. The stronger affects, such as wanting someone to flee, would require this eye contact with the target. However, merely looking at someone can induce the lesser powers. (Chills, goosebumps, etc.) The most targets Jacobi can affect at one time is generally thirty-forty people.
Additionally, he has been banned SPECIFICALLY by both councils to have or own any physical weapons of any kind. Period. Ever. However, he is very well trained in street fighting. Note: Jacobi generally keeps his yellow eye closed so as to not use his power constantly and without control. (This ability CANNOT be turned off.) Due to this, it causes vision issues, such as depth perception and the causing of fighting "tilted." This causes a blind spot until his eye is opened again.
History/Back Story: Jacobi is a former of the UMS Council Security Force. He has guarded the former members of "The Unfortunate Thirteen." He has participated in several large-scaled battles (including a war) under their authority. As his power has grown, he has become more prominent within the common knowledge of not only his guild, but the councils and the general population of non-magic users. His reasoning for retirement from the SF was to join the creation of the Guild Games. He enjoys the ambitions of his guild and is often one of the main model fighters, both within Guild Games and without. (It is not uncommon that he 'challenges' the younger/newer members of Valoria--presumably to 'increase guild strength.')
The cause of the scar upon his face is unknown, the story changes often and generally depends on the amount of liquor he has consumed. His guild buddies do generally like him, finding him to be fun, outgoing--but serious and somewhat cold the moment a battle or challenge has begun. It is almost as if he is two different people.

From then on he spent his life on the road, walking or hitching coach rides about the UMS in search of work. Most of the work he found was along the new railroads, and the people he met and the things he saw while working turned the naïve, soft-spoken boy into the crude, self-centered, and laid-back man he is now. He lives for personal pleasure and gain alone, and believes that whatever he does is fine so long as he doesn’t get caught at it. He ended up joining a guild as just another way to find work, taking guild assignments alongside his usual work on the rails.

History/Back Story: Nymeria was actually born approximately 55 years ago and lived a good life. She had plenty of money, a boyfriend, and lots of friends who loved to have a good time. At least, it was all good until one party turned to chaos. A savage fight broke out over two women, which then turned into an all-out brawl. Nymeria searched desperately for her boyfriend, but ended up getting a knife through the chest. When the fight subsided, Nymeria's boyfriend found her on the floor, bloody and gasping for air. Wretched with guilt and despair, the boyfriend turned to the only person who could help Nymeria; a sorcer. In exchange for much gold and treasures, the sorcerer agreed to place a magic curse on Nymeria's spirit. Her soul would forever be bound to the blood inside the next host body. The boyfriend forsake his integrity by kidnapping a young woman and offering her to the sorcerer. The magic user went through the ritual, killing the woman and binding Nymeria to the host blood. The perk of enhanced healing was also added.
When Nymeria saw her lover again, she embraced him as much as she could. As the years passed by, the boyfriend grew older, and it was evident Nymeria would outlive him. When her boyfriend died, Nymeria moved on to wander the land, feeling an ever present emptiness. She tried to fill that emptiness and make some money by doing something interesting with her life. He's excellent with first aid because of his previous career. His magic ability is called "Infect" and he can afflict his target with an illness that lasts for an hour by gripping a part of their body, focusing on the symptoms he wants to give them and listing them out loud (whispering is fine). It's useful for slowing, distracting or incapacitating opponents.
He is not able to give the target symptoms that are fatal or cause permanent damage; he can only induce things like fever, chills, nausea/vomiting, delirium, coughing, aches and pains and so on. He must also make skin to skin contact; it won't work if he's just holding onto their clothing. If he isn't able to complete a word before the target is released, that symptom will not take effect. The same is true if his concentration is broken. If he makes skin to skin contact with the target while they're afflicted with symptoms, he'll get the same symptoms for the same duration as the target.

He also has a lot of knowledge about injuries and illnesses and can be pretty helpful in that regard. His hobbies and interests include gambling, smoking, flirting and going for walks.

His parents were both in noncombat roles, but his mother's brother and father had both been killed in action before he was born. He spent a few months exploring his options and it was during this time he discovered his ability. He happened upon Walsh during his travels and joined to see what the deal with guilds was. He's been there for the past five years. He's known to have a taste for whiskey, women and tobacco and can be a bit too laid back at times. However, he does take his guild work seriously and tries to carry out his jobs efficiently.

Sheridan grew up in an orphanage near the UMS Border. While Sheridan does not speak much of his time there, he willingly admits to being a “nightmare” to the caretakers there when he was very young. It is also believed by many that his abilities manifested at this time though he refrains to elaborate on the subject.
As he grew older, he began to reign in his rebellious nature, and his love for adventure and stories led him to focus his studies into that of archaeology and history. He eventually joined Sheherazade which only assisted him in his quest for discovery.
During that time he met, Camilla, another member of Sheherazade. The two became very close and he ended up developing feelings for her. However, he never addressed it and seven years ago, Camilla died in a natural disaster when she was out on a guild mission.
After Camilla’s death, he continued to push forward and came to terms with what happened. While he still harbors some regrets, his personality and disposition has changed very little.

However she does not control the info she'll get and need to touch the person. She always however get the name of the person and often randomly start speaking to people like she have met them before and them backing away from the girl.

Her parents did encourage her to and she moved to her uncle's place in Sarrice kingdom. This one showed her to use a fighting staff as well and Ryla was learning it quickly. Although she never really mixed this well with people sadly as they all thought she was a bit... weird.
As she often went into the ruins and always seemed to find her way in better than anybody as well as making extremely good finding, she was approached by the Sheherazade guild and they offered her to join. She accepted, buut... it was mostly to get more info for her research. Thing is she doesn't always give them what she found right away, she always need to make research on the stuff. Kyla have now a lab within her uncle's house. This one having almost an heart attack every time she blow something up or suddenly make too much noise.

His ability to see sound waves can start to interfere if he's in a place with lots of noise and sounds, so while he can function, he generally avoids these places. His range for using his magic to charm something is only twenty feet, further than that and its effects begin to weaken. His abilities are still not very developed as he was only just being taught at the time.

History/Back Story: He lived a simple life with his family. His father was a woodcutter and his mother a retired acrobat, now seamstress. Hyperactive, boisterous, and curious, he naturally sought the world around him. Isolated somewhat from civilization, his companions were books and the animals in the forest. Showing an early gift for music--as his parents came in one day and found him writing an entire musical composition all over the floors, walls, even ceiling--his mom passed to him a family heirloom: a circular flute with mystical properties. Having a natural affinity with the animals, he could call any animal to him with the special flute his mother had given to him. It was a truly halcyon life.
That was shattered, however, when poachers noticed his ability and tried to force him to use it to call a rare beast that roamed the forest. When he refused, they laid waste to the forest near his home. His mother revealed the magic she had been teaching him had a combat side to it when she used it to attack their oppressors. Sadly, though they succeeded in defeating the poachers, both his mother and father died in the ensuing forest fire. The happy-go-lucky boy died that day, withdrawing into himself.
Alone and now homeless, he began wandering the world alone, using his music to earn the coin he needed.

Appearance: Xiax has ratty dark brown long hair, that he sometimes ties back with bits of old bootlaces, rags, or what ever comes on hand. Several patched and sloven layers of clothes that have seen better years cover him, and on his back is a large grass woven basket, that holds much of his belongings. It is readily apparent that Xiax is used to the dirt and grime of his homeless lifestyle. His nails show the marks of a nail bitter, and his hands/body bears many scars where ever they can be seen. Xiax has only 9 fingers, 5 on his left, and 4 on his right, but he is glad to say that he has all his toes, teeth, eyes, ears and a nose. His brown eyes are his only oddity, the pupils appear an off milky white, like he has glaucoma, though this isn't the case even if he is slightly near sighted and the damn things glow in the dark. Standing at 6ft 2inches, Xiax weighs somewhere over 221Lbs with a stocky build.

Magic Ability: Infuse- The ability to transfer mana to other people and objects through touch. This ability also gives an understanding of the object or creature that receives the mana to Xiax, as his aura links to the creature/object during the process. Stronger denser objects seem to hold a better charge, though clear objects such as crystal or glass tend to glow more noticeably from the process. His control is solid enough that he doesn't effect most things he touches or ordinary people very often, however he has to worry about coming into contact with another magic user for his power automatically triggers until he passes out or the contact is broken. This power temporarily strengthens a creatures/object's aura.
Side effects include: Mental stress, rambling (often describing the object/persons traits or powers), shakes, trembling, forgetfulness/poor memory retention, nosebleeds, potentially rising to even more serious versions of those mentioned - Seizures, amnesia, etc.
Xiax's aura regenerates unusually fast, and when left unused tends to infuse Xiax. This tends to make him more healthy though he thinks nothing of it since it goes unnoticed. This might explain why he often avoids sickness even considering his life style and the sometimes questionable conditions he lives in.
Non-Combative Skills/Hobbies: Fishing, Basket weaving, sewing, rope making, begging, sneaking and visiting soup kitchens.

At first it wasn't that bad, it hardly ever happened, but as he got older it got progressively worse. That is his powers developed further then he could live with and he was fired. It was hard to get more work when word got around to other people that he often kept spacing out for long periods of time. It didn't help that many of them thought he was a lazy good for nothing, since he often skipped work or was sick. Attempts to explain didn't really help much, how does one explain that his magic wasn't under control when he couldn't remember using it?

He knows he has magic, but it's practically useless as far as he can tell. At best he can make somethings glow but that's about it. When he tried to go to one to the guilds, all it took was for him to accidentally touch the wrong person and that was it. Xiax didn't really know what had happened but he couldn't remember it either, the guy must have just left him there spaced out thinking he was on drugs or something.
It was pretty hard, well it's still hard just a tiny bit easier to survive now that he's made it closer to where the Council has set up and taken roots. Sure he has to watch out for bad food, cheats, knifers, and all the other stuff someone in his situation deal with but at least he knows what he is doing.

She is a user of Archive magic: This Magic allows the user to convert information into Magical data, which can be stored, enabling the user to gain access to previously stored information, such as other types of Magic. It is mainly used by flat-screens which are projected into the air. These screens are very durable and can be used as a shield. It also allows the user to transfer information from person to person more quickly than through verbal communication. The data that is stored with in this archive is accessible by by all who use archive magic, unless locked, making it akin to a magical internet.
This magic allows the following abilities:
Force Blast : User can manifest his Archive Magic in a form of Magical screens and forcefully explode them in front of his target causing similar damage of a blast. It is sufficient enough to throw away his target into the air.
Force Shield : User creates a shield from screens of Archive Magic. It is, however, unknown to what degree they can stand up to assaults.
Telepathy: With this Magic, the user is able to talk to other people through their thoughts and converse over long distances.
Information Transfer: The user transfers information into another person's mind. This is particularly useful in reconnaissance missions, since the user can send information regarding miscellaneous data (such as the nearby surroundings, for instance) to her comrades, which they can perceive on a mental level as loading bars in buffering progress occurring within their mind that represents the images and symbols being downloaded into them in real time; with this, she can help her allies navigate where to go by transferring "maps" into their heads. The data that the user can transfer also includes the knowledge on how to perform powerful spells and enchantments.
Weaknesses: As a magic that is primarily a data storage system it lacks both versatility and strength in combat. Force Blast is the only offensive power it has and while it can send people flying it doesn't cause anymore damage than moderate bruising, though it can be used to send people flying into dangerous locations to cause more damage like off a cliff. The strength of Force Shield is also on the minimal side and won't last to long against a barrage of spells or attacks, especially from higher ranking people.
Non-Combative Skills/Hobbies: Studying, reading, magic item creation/repair, linguistics, ancient languages, bookkeeping/archiving, archeology, pestering her brother "Rex", a.k.a. James "Jimmy" Cartell.
History/Backstory:Shyis is the 19 year old baby sister of James "Jimmy" Cartell, who is now known as "Rex." Despite the fact that Jimmy is her older brother and guild master she refuses to call him Rex except when doing serious work for the guild.
Unlike her brother Shyis is quite new to the guild. Infact she has only been a member for about a month now, ever since her parents retired from going to active archaeology sites. Unfortunately for the time being she is mostly retired from going to active sites as well as she has been tasked to re-catalog every official report that the Sheherazade guild has from it first opening to present day. She also has been tasked to devise a device that would allow Sheherazade members to access her magical archive without asking her to do it for them.
Luckily the latter task was something Shyis had already been working on for almost 3 years now in conjunction with Ferrum Coordinator's technology division. Incidentally this is also how she got into creating and repairing magical items. Currently she can only make minor magical item as well as fix minor damage to various magical items, anything to advanced and she will send a mind mail (telepathy) message to Ferrum to seek assistance or schedule a day to drop something off for repairs. The one exception to this is the M.A.D., Magical Archive Device, which is quite complex in design of which most aspects were created by her mind with the assistance of the more able hands of Ferrum's craftsmen.
As such she has been isolated to the back rooms of the guild pretty much the entire month of being a member. While this has limited her interactions with her fellow guild members drastically she does seem to get along with the majority of the members when around them. This is mostly do to the fact that the guild has become quite impressed with her work ethic as while she has been at the guild for only a month she has already cataloged the first 4-5 months worth of the guild's first archeology reports from 50 years ago without so much as a spelling error, all while working on various magic items. As such they are willing to put up with her awkward personality traits.

Force Shield : User creates a shield from screens of Archive Magic. It is, however, unknown to what degree they can stand up to assaults.
Telepathy: With this Magic, the user is able to talk to other people through their thoughts and converse over long distances.
Information Transfer: The user transfers information into another person's mind. This is particularly useful in reconnaissance missions, since the user can send information regarding miscellaneous data (such as the nearby surroundings, for instance) to her comrades, which they can perceive on a mental level as loading bars in buffering progress occurring within their mind that represents the images and symbols being downloaded into them in real time; with this, she can help her allies navigate where to go by transferring "maps" into their heads. The data that the user can transfer also includes the knowledge on how to perform powerful spells and enchantments.
Weaknesses: As a magic that is primarily a data storage system it lacks both versatility and strength in combat. Force Blast is the only offensive power it has and while it can send people flying it doesn't cause anymore damage than moderate bruising, though it can be used to send people flying into dangerous locations to cause more damage like off a cliff. The strength of Force Shield is also on the minimal side and won't last to long against a barrage of spells or attacks, especially from higher ranking people.
Non-Combative Skills/Hobbies: Studying, reading, magic item creation/repair, linguistics, ancient languages, bookkeeping/archiving, archeology, pestering her brother "Rex", a.k.a. James "Jimmy" Cartell.
History/Backstory:Shyis is the 19 year old baby sister of James "Jimmy" Cartell, who is now known as "Rex." Despite the fact that Jimmy is her older brother and guild master she refuses to call him Rex except when doing serious work for the guild.
Unlike her brother Shyis is quite new to the guild. Infact she has only been a member for about a month now, ever since her parents retired from going to active archaeology sites. Unfortunately for the time being she is mostly retired from going to active sites as well as she has been tasked to re-catalog every official report that the Sheherazade guild has from it first opening to present day. She also has been tasked to devise a device that would allow Sheherazade members to access her magical archive without asking her to do it for them.
Luckily the latter task was something Shyis had already been working on for almost 3 years now in conjunction with Ferrum Coordinator's technology division. Incidentally this is also how she got into creating and repairing magical items. Currently she can only make minor magical item as well as fix minor damage to various magical items, anything to advanced and she will send a mind mail (telepathy) message to Ferrum to seek assistance or schedule a day to drop something off for repairs. The one exception to this is the M.A.D., Magical Archive Device, which is quite complex in design of which most aspects were created by her mind with the assistance of the more able hands of Ferrum's craftsmen.
As such she has been isolated to the back rooms of the guild pretty much the entire month of being a member. While this has limited her interactions with her fellow guild members drastically she does seem to get along with the majority of the members when around them. This is mostly do to the fact that the guild has become quite impressed with her work ethic as while she has been at the guild for only a month she has already cataloged the first 4-5 months worth of the guild's first archeology reports from 50 years ago without so much as a spelling error, all while working on various magic items. As such they are willing to put up with her awkward personality traits.

Silence was her greatest friend and she never bothered speaking. Without parents she was forced to fend for herself, and ended up joining a street gang around the age of seven. There she met and became friends with a boy named Rage, and the two quickly became close friends. Upon turning thirteen she decided to join the military against Rage's wishes and the two parted on bad terms.
Noire spent the next three years advancing quickly through the ranks, become a vice captain and gaining much respect from a few of her peers. She spent six months in that position before seeing the crimes that were committed in the name of their Prince, with a torn heart she defected and set out to find Rage to reconcile with him. She soon found that he had join the guild Walsh, and set out to become a member as well. Upon joining the guild she ran into him almost immediately, but found that he was still very much angry with her for joining the Military.
Saddened by the realization that her closest and only friend nearly despised her, she vowed to remain solitary and spoke her first and only words to him. "If being alone must be my burden for trying to make a difference, then so be it."
(I was hoping to make Rage my second character if that's alright. I hope there isn't any rules against having two characters in the same guild.)

He didn't have a much exposure to magic users due to living in a part of the kingdom that was scarcely populated by them. Chiron was rather smart for his age, getting excellent scores in his English and Science classes. His intellect powered his expansive curiosity of the world as well as fueling his ego.
Chiron's abilities didn't emerge until his mid-teens. Every so often, whenever a person was within view, Chiron had visions of muscles and connective tissue under the person's skin. Chiron was unsure if he had received magical abilities and he was afraid of how his parents would react, so he kept his ability to himself for a year, after which, the visions grew more intense. Chiron could see organs and bones whenever a human body came into view. Whenever Chiron squinted, his vision ability would activate. The visions became so disruptive that Chiron became reclusive, trying to understand why he was given such a curse, and how to control it.
Chiron continued to excel in school once he dedicated himself to making his visions work for him instead of against him. He spent every few evenings walking around the public area, harnessing his power. He decided early on to become a doctor and to figure out how humans gain magical abilities. Around Chiron's 20's, he was already working at a nearby hospital, where he gained control of his vision, as well as discovering his second ability. With the same passion, Chiron worked to understand his tactile ability, leading him to become a well adjusted nurse, then doctor. Chiron spent much of his life studying the human body while working as a medic at the Sheherazade guild. He garnered worldwide fame for his studies, becoming one of the top physicians at the time.
While working at Sheherazade, he had one secretive project where he tried to fulfill his goal of finding the origin of magical powers. He spent two years running tests of human subjects, using his own abilities to their furthest extent. One strange red-eyed girl crossed his path, who then became one of his most active assistants. Chiron was confidant the girl would be a fantastic healer, or even a nurse by the end of the study, but she departed with a vague description of her future plans. The results of the study were inconclusive, so Chiron let go of his goal and focused the rest of his life on his guild.

Appearance:He is about 5'6'' and have a build that is rather normal/May look delicate even. Costume wise he would be pretty much like the costume on both of the pictures, the first one showing well how everything looks, but would have the hair and eyes color of the second.

Occupation (if any): Mostly his duties as a guild masters and going into missions to help spirits or people alike. He puts others over himself for most time. When he does have free time however, it is spent mostly into researching new spells for those who are weaker to help them out if they were in danger. He also loves to play violin or the flute when time allows it.
Combat Skills/Magic Ability (if any):As said in the other section of non combative, Ryushi and see and interact with spirits and spiritual creatures. He have no physical combat abilities other then random hitting something that may attack him. He is able to make powerful spiritual barriers though, but he doesn't like using it unless his life is in danger since it might affect weaker good spirits around. Although even today he have trouble fully mastering it, he is able to seal evil spirits as well, but depending on the strength of this one it sometimes need helps of others to accomplish. If he was to try and seal a powerful evil spirit on his own, he most surely would faint from exhaustion. There is various spell circles that can be used to seal spirits and he know a few, but does not master them all. He also is able to track a particular spirit with a piece of paper holding some of his spiritual powers in, but results may be different depending on how precise his information may be. If he saw and felt the spiritual power of a precise spirit he will be able to track it with a high precision level, if he only have a description and felt the spiritual power from the places the spirit could have gone to/attacked, it may be more difficult.

Ryushi can also interact with them fully, but that brought him in trouble more than once as not all spirits are good ones. History/Back Story:Born in the Sarrice Kingdom, his mother was from the UMS and his dad from Sarrice Kingdom. His mother however died from complication when giving birth to him and his dad did his best to raise the boy alone. At the age of four however his dad body was found, the carriage he was in had fallen victim to a rock slide and his dad was not lucky. He was taken into one adoptive family to the next, but being a bit more aware of his surrounding as a child around the age of five, often he would point a corner of the room asking if this guess would join them or who it was. This strange behavior was one of the main reason why he was always moved from one place to the next. He was bullied a lot no matter where he would go, people having a hard time to understand his weird sides. Even as a teenager it was all the same, however he was starting to have more awareness of what he could do with his powers and even started to have spiritual friends from time to time. At the age of sixteen however he was attacked by something quite dangerous, an evil spirit that wanted to make him its pet and devour everyone around him. Some people had been on his way when he was being chased and he had to push more than one person out of the way. This is when he managed to create a barrier out of defense once he was cornered. It had been enough to repel the spirit at the time, but it brought him a lot of troubles due to what damage the pursuit had caused. He was accused for most of it and the family that was taking charge of him just had enough and threw him out.
He was scared and lonely outside alone, but after about a week in the streets with close to nothing in the stomach, a lady that appeared to be in her late thirty found him and shook him awake. ''Ryushi, Ryushi !'' With a lot of efforts, he managed to wake up, feeling weak. He only looked at her with confusion, even more when the husband of this one showed up after she called him. They help him up and brought him to the closest hospital to take care of him. They gave him food, new clothes to replace the wet ones and after some recovery, they told him they were family on his mother's side and they had tried to find him for quite some time now to welcome him in their home. They were kind and insisted to take care of him, they truly cared and it made him open up to them and finally let out this stress he had on his shoulder go out in tears. Ryushi gladly accepted to be part of their family and somehow managed to make friends after he moved to the UMS with them. He had helped those two friends with their spirit problem, one of them had a high spiritual awareness, just not to the same level as he did, but knew more into the topic exorcising spells. The other needed the help of magic circles in order to even see spirits if they were to walk in those. They both were studying music as well and showed him how to play the violin and the flute. More allies came on later which made it possible to be able to create his guild no later than last year when he was twenty-one. In that same period of time he finally came to tell his adoptive family about his powers, saying he didn't say anything before in fear these would go after them. But since he was now moving he felt it may be safe, they supported him and his choice, even offered a bit of starting money for the guild.
Their guild grew faster than expected and they were able to get a base for it about two weeks ago, a temple in the town of Aer between the borders of UMS and Sarrice kingdom. Ryushi thought this would be a perfect area due of it being right between the two places he lived and also due to the fact of it being the center of many other guilds which might ask their help when needed.

At the age of four however his dad body was found, the carriage he was in had fallen victim to a rock slide and his dad was not lucky. He was taken into one adoptive family to the next, but being a bit more aware of his surrounding as a child around the age of five, often he would point a corner of the room asking if this guess would join them or who it was. This strange behavior was one of the main reason why he was always moved from one place to the next. He was bullied a lot no matter where he would go, people having a hard time to understand his weird sides. Even as a teenager it was all the same, however he was starting to have more awareness of what he could do with his powers and even started to have spiritual friends from time to time. At the age of sixteen however he was attacked by something quite dangerous, an evil spirit that wanted to make him its pet and devour everyone around him. Some people had been on his way when he was being chased and he had to push more than one person out of the way. This is when he managed to create a barrier out of defense once he was cornered. It had been enough to repel the spirit at the time, but it brought him a lot of troubles due to what damage the pursuit had caused. He was accused for most of it and the family that was taking charge of him just had enough and threw him out.
He was scared and lonely outside alone, but after about a week in the streets with close to nothing in the stomach, a lady that appeared to be in her late thirty found him and shook him awake. ''Ryushi, Ryushi !'' With a lot of efforts, he managed to wake up, feeling weak. He only looked at her with confusion, even more when the husband of this one showed up after she called him. They help him up and brought him to the closest hospital to take care of him. They gave him food, new clothes to replace the wet ones and after some recovery, they told him they were family on his mother's side and they had tried to find him for quite some time now to welcome him in their home. They were kind and insisted to take care of him, they truly cared and it made him open up to them and finally let out this stress he had on his shoulder go out in tears. Ryushi gladly accepted to be part of their family and somehow managed to make friends after he moved to the UMS with them. He had helped those two friends with their spirit problem, one of them had a high spiritual awareness, just not to the same level as he did, but knew more into the topic exorcising spells. The other needed the help of magic circles in order to even see spirits if they were to walk in those. They both were studying music as well and showed him how to play the violin and the flute. More allies came on later which made it possible to be able to create his guild no later than last year when he was twenty-one. In that same period of time he finally came to tell his adoptive family about his powers, saying he didn't say anything before in fear these would go after them. But since he was now moving he felt it may be safe, they supported him and his choice, even offered a bit of starting money for the guild.
Their guild grew faster than expected and they were able to get a base for it about two weeks ago, a temple in the town of Aer between the borders of UMS and Sarrice kingdom. Ryushi thought this would be a perfect area due of it being right between the two places he lived and also due to the fact of it being the center of many other guilds which might ask their help when needed.

Combat Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Thanatos can draw in and manipulate shadows around him to turn them into physical objects. He can not use his power in complete darkness. As his power grows stronger he'll be able to make the objects stronger, larger, and also manipulate them more precisely. Sunlight breaks the objects down overtime and anything he makes will break down eventually, for now. A side affect of his magic is that he gets tired out in the sun when he's exposed to it for a while.

It got stronger as he aged, and eventually he came to understand it through practice with shadows. Unfortunately, his parents never understood Thanatos. Because of the nature of his magic they thought he was evil. They were afraid of what he might turn into, partly due to their ignorance. So, they secluded him from the world in his room. He learned about the world through books.
Eventually he realized how horrible they really were. One day, he killed them both and ran away from home. He hated them for what they did and felt no remourse. They controlled him his entire life, he had nothing thanks to them. The years alone had driven him close to insanity. Now, he's a petty theif. He is partners with for convinience, at least it started that way. He also hates authority and being controlled. If he's put into a potition where he has no control he could lose control of himself and essentially become chaotic evil. He'll only remember vaguely what happened during then.

If she loses sight of the object for more than a couple seconds it will fail. Things closer to her tele instantly, but things out of her reach take a bit longer(seconds). If she moves farther away it will take longer, too, and if she moves too far away it will also fail. As a side effect she feels lethargic after using her ability, even if it doesn't work. The effects can last for hours depending on the object's size and distance away. When something father away is being teleported it shimmers, or phases out until it reaches Blake. Ported things will flash away and to her, which is only noticable either at night or when someone is looking right at it. Momentum is lost when she teleports things, but faster objects also make her more tired, the same goes if she changes the direction of something.

Con: His powers are based on the amount of darkness that is available, during the day his powers are weak and he's only able to see twenty feet out, during the night his powers are deadly, and he can see as far as the eye can.
Skill: My character can use many different weapons(Including his fists), but he's better with swords.
