Etheriest Registration Rules

• You may have only one character.

• You cannot re-use an older character from any Force User role-plays.

• Etheriest Powers/Abilities must be limited to a single, specific gift.

• You must follow the Guidelines listed in the character layout examples.

• You can have a weapon, but it cannot be used while you have ether unless your ability is defensive.

• No guns of any kind are allowed, but crossbows and bows are acceptable.

• All active NPC's should be posted here and all NPC's should be usable by me, as well as the creator.

• Be sure to use the header code provided in your layout, which specifies if it is a PC or NPC.

Name: Legal : Sophora (She is never called it though) Sophie Chiodo (pronounced key-oh-do).

Age: 22

Gender: F

Appearance: Sophie has short blonde hair and green eyes.  She is short and petite, many people think she is a teenager.  Her height is 4’10”. She is always covered from shoulder to toe in clothing, including gloves on her hands.  Now this can be something as simple as tights or leggings on her legs or scarves around her neck.  She wears trendy clothing more due to the people she works around.
Sophie:

Occupation: Currently she is an assistant for a famous photographer, one she will not reveal the name of.  She is an amateur photographer herself.  She always has a camera and film on her.

Residence: She lives in her own apartment.  It is a 2 bedroom apartment.    The second room is used as an office/darkroom.  It is in the 5th floor of her building which is right in the center of the district.  It is a newer building.

Abilities:/Skills:  Sophie is a skilled photographer.  Her pictures have been used in books.  She is skilled computer editing pictures as well (think photoshop).  She loves to run still, but does not have any fighting skills.  Her apartment is close to everything she needs.  She does have some mechanical skills, but not at the level of her father or brother.  When not working she can be found outside taking pictures.  She is also a closet sports fan.  However due to her fear of crowds, she does not go to a lot of games.

Weapons (if any): None

Etheriest Class: 5

Etheriest Ability: Wither

Ability Description:  Her ability wears down her opponent.  If they are exposed to it long enough they can die.  It is not an instant death touch though.  Her ability causes a living thing to shut down and wither.  It only works on things that are alive, including plants and animals, not just humans.  Her emotions and ability affect is as well.  For example if she is scared, or angry she can make her ability work faster.  Those with the ability to heal or regenerate can combat this too, depending on their strength, may even overcome it.  Conversely, those with weakened immunities or sicknesses will succumb quicker.
Weaknesses:  She must make skin to skin contact.  The ability is always active.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Fatigue Touch– Those who she touches lose their energy and become tired. The longer there is contact the more tired the person will get.  A two second touch can cause an hour worth of exhaustion.  *This is not official since she is not a student.*


Back Story:  Sophie grew up in and average house.  Her father is a mechanic, her mother a teacher.  She is the middle child of 2 other siblings.  Her brother is 25 and works with their father.  Her younger sister Elliana 18, is also an etherist.  (More info on the NPC file.)  She is really close to her younger sister.  

Ever since Sophie discovered her ability, she is physically withdrawn from people.  She is not unfriendly, but makes sure she has her personal space.  Therefore she does not like large crowds.  She was part of the cross country team in high school.  It is where she started her love of photography.  She loves to do candid photographs of people.


NPC

Name: Elliana Chiodo- NPC
Age: 20

Gender: F

Appearance:  She also has blonde straight hair, but she wears her in a bob about shoulder length.  Her eyes are green as well.  She stands about 5’6”.  She love simple clothes.  A t-shirt and jean, or a sweater in the winter.  
Elliana:

Life Status: She is perishable

Occupation: She is a student at Delacroix University.  She is very active in clubs and element sports.

Residence:  She lives in dorms on campus

Abilities:/Skills: Elliana is athletic.  Like her sister she has some mechanical knowledge, but not an expert.  She is very agile for her height.  She is a closet mystery book fan.  She doesn’t have too much free time because of the school stuff she is involved in.

Weapons (if any): None

Etheriest Class: E4.5 - according to her =) but technically only a 4

Etheriest Ability: Wind

Ability Description:  She has the ability to manipulate the movement of air

Signature Spells/Abilities:
•  Wind wall – Just like is sounds.  She can create a wall of swirling air between herself and another object.  Anything that hits the wall will be deflected from it.  She primarily uses this to protect herself.
• Air ball attack – Again, just like it sounds.  She can create air balls and launch them at people or objects.  The balls are smaller and can harm a person if they hit.

Personality:  She is very outgoing and very active.  She is the kind of person who wants everyone to have fun.  She loves her friends and tries to keep everyone happy.  Lot of people call her bubbly.  She can be very persuasive when she wants to be or when she doesn’t get her way.  She is slow to anger and is pretty tolerable of most personalities.  She does not like people who are late and will tell those who she knows are perpetually late earlier times.  She shrugs people off who do not appeal to her, but is not mean to them.

Back Story:  She is the youngest of the Chiodo family.  In high school she was a cheerleader and participated in sports.  She was recently accepted at the university and is just as involved there too.  She is a proud advocate of the university and unofficially helps to recruit people to attend.  She is more feminine than her sister and did not take to the family business.

Jenia wears business dresses and pant suits--sometimes, even a tie. She is always sharp and professional, unless she is in her kendo garb.

Etheriest Ability: Ether Eyes
Ability Description: Ether Eyes is the ability to "see" Ether in the atmosphere, as well as within a person's aura. Although she is not an aurist and she is unable to see auras, she still has a greater understanding of how an aura works due to her ability to see magic. She can see spells or magic being cast within her sight range, even through walls or other obstructions.

This ability allows Jenia to see the differences between Etheriests and Non-Etheriets, to see how much Ether an Etheriest can hold (which allows her to gauge their EC), and how much Ether they are currently holding. It is a constant, passive ability that cannot be turned off.

Strengths: Etheriest Detection, EC Detection, & Attack Warning in Sight Range
Weaknesses: Distractions from Reality, Can be Blinding, & Ether Cloud Confusion

Personality: Jenia is a stubborn woman with strong ideals, as she is altruistic, reliable, tolerant..but she is also too sensitive, too selfless (to the point of being walked on easily, at times), and sometimes overly idealistic. The development and responsibility of her students are always taken seriously. She rarely allows a professor to work for her for long, generally firing and re-hiring them after only a few short years of employment. Many suspect this is because she is cold-hearted, but in reality, it is to ensure high work ethics towards her students and to keep quality between student and teacher relationships and interactions. She takes a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community.

In general, Jenia radiates authenticity, concern, and altruism, as she is unafraid to stand up and speak when she feels something needs to be said. She finds it natural and easy to communicate with others, especially in person and easily sees people's motivations and seemingly disconnected events, while bringing these ideas together and communicate them as a common goal with an eloquence that is nothing short of mesmerizing. She has interest in others that is genuine, almost to a fault – when she believes in someone, she can become too involved in the other person's problems, place too much trust in them. Luckily, this trust tends to be a self-fulfilling prophesy, as her altruism and authenticity inspire those she cares about to become better themselves. But if she isn't careful, she can overextend her optimism, sometimes pushing others further than they're ready or willing to go.

Back Story: Originally working with her father and brothers, Jenia founded the Delacroix University with the high hopes to bring Etheriests together in a stable community that ensures teamwork and environmentally safe regions that allow use of Ether abilities without risks of harming others around them.

However, her brother soon fell to other priorities, the first of which was money. Although monetary gain was a reward of its own, Jenia long suspected that it was more than the money, itself that her brother was after. Regardless, she could get little information out of him as he became more and more isolated and secretive as his tactics over the University shifted away from teaching and more into experimentation.

No longer will to stand by and let this happen, the two siblings fought and their father had to put a stop to this. The results weren't pretty, but in the end, Jenia was left with the University on her own while her brother left and her father soon followed, both bitterly promising rapid success with their own endeavors. A second brother, Kyo, was unfortunately left as the neutral party in between and has as little luck as their father with communication to fix the problems.

Jenia will do what she has to do to keep her school at the top--not just with grades and graduates, but also with enrollment efficiency and extracurricular activities. Whether it is Choir, Kendo, or even a Swimming Team that opens up, she keeps everything at its best so as to be a strong rival against her family.

Outwardly, this is just a school and a difference of opinion on how it should have been run. Inwardly, though, Jenia knows it is much more than that. This was more than a difference in priorities and opinions, just as she knows that her brother has changed, somehow and for some unknown reason.

The cause and motivation of the darker side of her brother is something that she intends to investigate and hopefully come to understand. Meanwhile, she intends to keep running the University and to spend time with her father and her second bother during her free time while she can.

Appearance: 5'10, 189lbs; Brown Hair; Brown Eyes; Caucasian
Zorlias is always seen in suits, but never a tie. He prefers darker colors of blacks and browns and he has never been seen in any other form of clothing or in brighter or lighter colors.

Occupation: CEO & "Face" of Zorlias Corporation

Etheriest Class: EC3
Etheriest Ability: Dark Sight
Ability Description: Dark Sight is the ability of Clairvoyance. Although "what" he sees is uncontrolled, there is no trigger or activation. It is not always active, but it does just randomly reveal information of the future to him, regardless of what he is doing or where he is located at.

Unfortunately, this Sight is limited to one thing: Darkness in humanity. Death, destruction, and chaos seems to be the primary focus of his ability, despite his earlier attempts to focus on more positive things in life. The depth of depravity from humankind is far brought to Zorlias' attention far more than it is to any other.

When he gets a vision, he has a sharp headache just before, where he can choose to ignore the vision and accept a more intense headache, instead. If he has a vision, he is unable to move well or focus on his surroundings and his vision of the real world is gone.

Strengths: Attack Precognition, Death Prevention, & Vision Resist Chance
Weaknesses: Headaches, Randomized, & Always Negative/Dark

Personality: Although he used to be happy and iconic, charismatic and humorous, Zorlias is no longer who he used to be. Due to the ability that has manifested within him, he has become darker and less tolerant of the lighter pleasures in life.

He has become withdrawn, silent, moody, and secretive. Zorlias is imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet private, amazingly curious, but he does not squander his energy. He trusts very few and relies on even less. Though it is clear he is up to something to those that interact with him daily, no one has a clear understanding of what motivates him or what his goals are.

To the public, his image has shifted recently from someone that was charming and intuitive to someone that is mysterious, greedy, and conceited. Of course, he cares little of what his reputation says about him.

Now, he is simultaneously the most starry-eyed idealist and the bitterest of cynics, a seemingly impossible conflict. But this is because he tends to believe that with effort, intelligence and consideration, nothing is impossible, while at the same time he believes that people are too lazy, short-sighted, or self-serving to actually achieve those fantastic results. At times, it seems that Zorlias is bent on deconstructing and rebuilding every idea and system that he comes into contact with, employing a sense of perfectionism and even morality to his work. Anyone who doesn’t have the talent to keep up with his processes, or worse yet, doesn’t see the point of them, is likely to immediately and permanently lose his respect.

Zorlias takes pride in remaining rational and logical at all times, considering honesty and straightforward information to be paramount to euphemisms and platitudes in almost all circumstances. In many ways though, these qualities of coolness and detachment aren't the weapons of truth that they appear to be, but are instead shields designed to protect the inner emotions that he feels. In fact, because his emotions are such an underdeveloped tool, he often feels them more strongly than many overtly emotional people, because he simply hasn't learned how to control them effectively.

Back Story: Zorlias was once a family man, concerned with working and building a great future for Etheriests all over the world with his father, brother, and sister. He loved working with them and had a close bond with his siblings until there came a time when darkness surrounded his life and changed the way he viewed the world forever.

His Ether ability finally manifested and showed him the darkest parts of living. Although he revealed his basic ability of clairvoyance to his sister and father at the beginning, he revealed little of what he saw, thereafter. His heart darkened, as did his view of humanity. Stripped of his hope, he began working at a strategy to prevent one of the greatest tragedies of all time, a mission that is probably impossible.

His trust and secrets are shared only with three people: Kyo, Kilder, and Piper, as he felt a bond with these two, in particular, far more than he has with any other in a long time. Additionally, he feels that only these two are capable of fully understanding what he's going through.

Appearance: 6'2, 240lbs; Grey Hair; Brown Eyes; Caucasian
Cynric can usually be seen in suits and ties when he isn't wearing his CETE Uniform. Although he does love his suits (a trait he also distilled in his son), he can also be seen in a sweatsuit on workout days when he isn't working.
Ricky, Age 63:

Occupation: CETE Chief; CETE Member
Residence: Small House
Abilities/Skills: Business Management, Intimidation, Clock Fixing, Watch Fixing, Forensic Studies, Investigative Studies, Hunting, & Decorative Carpentry

Etheriest Class: EC1
Etheriest Ability: Othersense
Ability Description: With Othersense, Ricky can look at a person and "switch" over to their senses of sight and hearing. He can immediately see through their eyes and hear through their ears as if they were his own. The distance is only limited to sight range, but he can only use it for a limited amount of time.

Additionally, if this ability is activated for too long, Ricky loses focus and fails to hear or see anything around himself. Only touch can break through this ability and once the ability is turned off after too long of a period, he is temporarily blinded and deafened.

Strengths: Ability to Spy at long (sight) range, Tactical Applications, & Augmented Senses
Weaknesses: Organic Interruption, Immediate Sense Deterioration, & Time Limit

Signature Spells/Abilities:

Personality: Ricky is a lot of things: Bold, defiant, impatient, rational, practical, perceptive, social, risk-prone, unstructured, and direct. However, the most common descriptive word given to him is womanizer. Place a sexy woman in his sights and he will make her a priority--at least for a night. Despite his endless list of flirtatious seduction techniques and lovers (not to mention his past six wives), he claims that he is able to commit.

He always has an impact on his immediate surroundings – the best way to spot him at a party is to look for the whirling eddy of people flitting about him as he moves from group to group. Laughing and entertaining with a blunt and earthy humor, he loves to be the center of attention. Ricky also keeps his conversations energetic, with a good dose of intelligence, but he likes to talk about what is – or better yet, to just go out and do it. He leaps before he looks, fixing his mistakes as he goes, rather than sitting idle, preparing contingencies and escape clauses.

Ricky lives in the moment and dives into the action – he is the eye of the storm and he enjoys drama, passion, and pleasure, not for emotional thrills, but because it's so stimulating to his logical mind. He is forced to make critical decisions based on factual, immediate reality rather than hopes or possibilities.

Also challenging is that Cynric, it makes more sense to use his own moral compass than someone else's. Rules were made to be broken. This is a sentiment few high school instructors or corporate supervisors are likely to share, so it has earned him a certain reputation. But when he minimizes the trouble-making, harnesses his energy, and focuses through the boring stuff, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Back Story: After a long life of running a University and getting married, getting divorced, having kids...the best thing that ever happened to him was starting up the CETE program. Although he is old, Ricky has a lot of plans, specifically to help out what friends and family that he has left. He also adopted a child 18 years ago, in order to keep him from the system of adoptions and other such "fun," so this added to a bit more of his work and responsibilities before CETE was formed.

As a mediator for the past four years, Ricky has managed to clear up a lot of the mess that his son and daughter have left about them in their endless feud, he is sad to realize that the two no longer talk to each other alone. He has spent his career catching the bad guys, but his mind and motivation always gravitates back to his children.

PC [WIP]

Name:Dr. Timotheus Gregor Van Achthoven (Goes by Dr. Gregor most often)
Age: 63
Gender: M
Appearance: Dr. Gregor stands at a height of 6'1" and has a weight of 160 pounds, with hair of white at shoulder length. On his chin he sports a small white goatee. His frame is comprised of wiry muscles that contain a surprising amount of strength, at least in terms of someone who is 63 years old. He almost exclusively wears loose fitting robes that allow for a full range of movement while remaining simplistically fashionable. His eyes are a rather mundane brown and his skin is palish white.

Occupation: Medical Doctorate of Mental Health (Clinical and Counseling Psychology). His office is at Delacroix University where he acts as the schools chief psychiatrist for students and teacher. In addition to his role there at the University Dr. Gregor also offers his services to CETEs in various forms including pre-agent psychological exams as well as post trauma exams for CETEs agents as well as other victims.

Residence: A simple three room apartment consisting of a bedroom, bathroom, and a small kitchen. Cramped by the general societal view Dr. Gregor gets by in this living arrangement by being a minimalist. He buys only what he needs on a day buy day basis and nothing more. His appartment is just outside of the University making it easy to get to his office, as well as to the CETEs headquarters as well.
Weapons (if any): A solid oak bo staff. Quite heavy and rather effective when used to bash heads in as needed. Part of what keeps Dr. Kregor fit and strong is his continued use of karate, focusing on the use of the bo staff.

Etheriest Class: EC1
Etheriest Ability: Aura Manipulation
Ability Description: This ether ability is quite rare as it makes an individual an aurist at birth. Gregor has always been able to see auras and have an almost instinctual understanding of how to read and understand the auras around him, though naturally the more he studied and learned about auros this aspect got better. The true power of the ability is the power of influence. With concentration Gregor can focus on an emotion and influence, but not force, others to feel and express the emotion. To increase the potency of this influence he is able to concentrate the effect with in a small range by keeping his aura tight around his body, rather than dispersing it over a large distant. Basically the larger area his aura reaches the more people he can possibly influence, but the easier to resist the effects. The less area it covers the fewer people it can influence, but the harder to resist the effects.

Strengths: Emotion control, Etherist detection, Innate ability to see auras, Useful in helping his patients open up.
Weaknesses: Anyone who has strong control over their emotions will naturally be resistant to this effect, the ability only effects his own emotions directly and only effects other peoples emotion in a secondary fashion through empathic vibes, constant use or use in crowded areas can lead to headaches that can reach the levels of migraines if left unchecked for to long, the higher a persons EC level the higher resistance they naturally have against the ability.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Aura of Truth: The first true ability he learned, and what sent him down the path to becoming a psychologist, this ability causes those around him to more readily wear their hearts on their sleeves. Or to put it more simply it influences those around him to express there true emotional state making it hard to hide their emotions.
• Aura of Calm: This aura imposes an influence of serenity around him making it hard for anyone to even enter a verbal fight around him, let alone a physical one.
• Aura of Anger: The opposite of the above ability, Dr. Gregor uses it primarily for therapeutic anger release in controlled situations. It has, on occasion, also been used to create rather spectacular diversions, though in his old age such uses are less useful than they were in his youth.
• Aura of Sadness: This aura intensifies the sadness of those with in range and like the aura of anger it is used primarily for therapeutic means.
• Aura of Joy: Similar to the aura of calm this aura causes those nearby to more readily become and stay joyous. Dr. Gregor is quite fond of randomly activating this particular ability randomly through out the day as happiness promotes mental positivity the corner stone to good psychological health.

He usually wear pants that give him freedom of movements as well as a shirt he can button up or remove easily by taking off. Often he would remove his shirt before fighting to not scrap it due to his power.
Note toward the pict : No tattoos where there are and no blood, though he would show sign of some scars which he never spoke about. He also would have some kind of red mark on the top right of his back. If looking closer it looks like some kind of magic symbol of some kind.

Abilities/Skills : Is really good at self-defense Martial Art and knows how to counter. He usually use those skills when the use of his power would not be required. He's pretty quick and have good reflexes/senses. His power can enhance his overall senses, strenght and speed, but due to some facts that will be pointed out in the BG, even when not activated, these are still a bit higher then an average person.

Other skills that he learned are : Hunting, Survival, shortsword proficiency, Sewing, Sketching, Horse Riding, basic calligraphy, archery(though he doesn't use it often, mostly doing it for sport/a sort of activity with his brother, though it's more difficult to get into it now), clock fixing, watch fixing, decorative carpentry. Mad texting skills, is also pretty good to fix computers and electronic in general. Also is good at cooking considering he doesn't really have a choice in the matter of food to do balanced meal and stuff.

Studies skills : Started with a general art course, then did some electronic course to learn about different ways to fix stuff or make things, then he just focused to ether research to understand it better. Also did read a lot of recipe and diet books, because of how much food he needs.

Ability Description: The ability to go through different stages levels of power which each enhance senses, strenght and speed and change the biologic aspect of specific parts of the body. One that can be a good example is how his arms could become like rubber or transform into a blade and move in fast pace motions or even his fingers could become tiny blades. he could also fuse matter of his arms to make a shield. On every level his eyes will shine and his body will show signs of magic glyph, the higher the level, the more of them there is.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Level 1 : ''Rogue'' - Enhanced speed in the legs and strenght in the arms. Arms can also become like rubber and stretch out, parts can turn into razor sharp blades. Can also morph his arms to create hard shield either small or using both his arm for a bigger one for some more cover. Senses becomes a tiny bit sharper. Small lines of magic glyphs glow on his arms and his eyes glow slightly. The way is body is made also make so he recover faster then a normal person, let's say something that take a month to heal will take two weeks for him.

• Level 2 : ''Sniper'' Enhance defense and although arms can still do what level one does, they now have even more strenght and a layer of thickness that looks almost like hard hide from some kind of creature. Some of that stuff is also protecting his chest and vision is also enhanced. Line of magic glyphs pass on each eyes from his hair to the end of his face. A larger glyph also glow where his heart resides and streches out to the rest of his chest.His eyes glows from a rich green color. As vision is enhance he can now see much further in front of him, it works as a zoom in zoom out system. The sniper titles come from the fact he is able to shoot someone with a very thin energy blast from a distance of about 50ft max.

• Level 3 : ''Rider'' This is where it gets tricky to even wear full pants, he'll often have a silly moment where he remove his pants and shoes to be in boxers and blush before getting here. This level enhance his leg strenght by quite a lot as well as their speed and his feet and legs get all weird and it looks like he's wearing some kind of weird high heel boots, but these can actually make him go pretty fast, using ether to propulse him with his movement in a way of roller blades. Hide is now covering his whole body as well giving him slightly higher defense. Level 1 and 2 abilities are also valid here, however when he's on max power his ether level can sometime be a bit unstable. He still is in control of his ability it's more the use vs storage that is unstable. Nobody really knows why though except him. Glyph in this form spread out a bit everywhere in a organized fashion. Pure ether will also come out of the feet part of his ''boots'' whenever he start striking to go faster. When striking a part comes out from under his feet to do so and when he isn't it comes back inside. The same part however can also boost his jumping and act like a spring.

Weaknesses(Thought I'd put that aside for the text to not be too big) : Needs 3 times the nutrients of a normal person and a very strict and balanced diet to have everything he needs. If he lack nutrients, he'll feel weak and will have trouble with his stamina while using his ability. Also considering he use his own body as both weapons and shield, if one of the part get hurts, when it comes back in position .... it can make pretty nasty wounds. His insecurity toward turning out of control can also be a major weakness as it affect his aura and ether at times. His ability is also stressful on the body so when he's out of ether, he's also pretty much out of stamina and exausted. A bit like you would have a rush of adrenaline and then drop back down and feel super weak. Kyo also use a lot more ether for his ability then someone who got his ability naturally, his bank of ether however seems a bit higher then what it should be however, but doesn't make much of a difference depending on the level of transformation.

Ability Description: The Nine Tail Etheriest ability is the ability to grow or form tails (one to nine). These tails often look metallic and unnatural, and are generally slick and simplistic in appearance, as well as highly flexible, as any tail would be. From time to time, the tails can obtrain spikes at the end, but this is not always the case unless activated. Additionally, although they look metallic, they actually are not and can be harmed or cut off just as easily as a real tail would be. They are organic, but replaceable at a later time. (If one is cut off, it cannot be re-formed immediately.) If she grows a tail with a blunt end, she cannot switch it to a sharp end unless she wishes to use much more Ether to dismiss the tail and then re-grow it, which takes time.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Tail Walk -- Due to their unnatural muscle strength, Krissa can lift her body off of the ground entirely and walk on her tails. This can give her increased land speed, but can also be slowed in certain terrain.
• Double Punch/Kick -- Kris likes to blunt the ends of her tails so that she can use a tail to move with her arm or leg as she punches and kicks, dealing a double blow with added force to add to the damage and push-back factor to her attacks.

Personality: Kris is honest, direct, responsible, practical, a jack of all trades...but she's also considered insensitive, stubborn, judgemental, and she loves to blame herself and holds herself to a higher standard than she does anyone else.

Without hesitation, Krissa takes responsibility for her actions and takes pride in the work she does – when working towards a goal, she holds back none of her time and energy completing each relevant task with accuracy and patience. She doesn't make many assumptions, preferring instead to analyze her surroundings, check her facts and arrive at practical courses of action. Kris is a no-nonsense kind of woman, and when she's made a decision, she will relay the facts necessary to achieve her goal, expecting others to grasp the situation immediately and take action. She has little tolerance for indecisiveness, but loses patience even more quickly if her chosen course is challenged with impractical theories, especially if they ignore key details – if challenges becomes time-consuming debates, Kris can become noticeably angry as deadlines tick nearer.

When Krissa says she is going to get something done, she does it, meeting her obligations no matter the personal cost, and she is baffled by people who don't hold their own word in the same respect. Combining laziness and dishonesty is the quickest way to get on her bad side. Consequently, she also prefers to work alone, or at least have her authority clearly established by hierarchy, where she can set and achieve their goals without debate or worry over other's reliability.

She has a sharp, fact-based minds, and prefers autonomy and self-sufficiency to reliance on someone or something. Dependency on others is often seen as a weakness, and her passion for duty, dependability and impeccable personal integrity forbid falling into such a trap. Still, she adheres to established rules and guidelines regardless of cost, reporting her own mistakes and telling the truth even when the consequences for doing so could be disastrous. To Krissa, honesty is far more important than emotional considerations, and her blunt approach leaves others with the false impression that she is cold, or even robotic. From time to time, she struggles to express emotion or affection outwardly, but the suggestion that she doesn't feel, or worse have no personality at all, is deeply hurtful.

She seeks stability and security, considering it her duty to maintain a smooth operation, and she has discovered over time that some of her coworkers and friends sometimes shift their responsibilities onto her, knowing that she will always take up the slack. She tends to keep her opinions to herself and let the facts do the talking, but it can be a long time before observable evidence tells the whole story.

Back Story: Kris left the University early after a short run-of-the-mill attempt to becoming a better Etheriest and a smarter person. She didn't lack for effort and did wish to finish and reach a degree, but it wasn't long before becoming an Assistant CETE pulled her away. Over time of working with the CETE program and its Agents, work slowly became more important to her than education. She got caught up in her jobs and soon worked to become an Agent and succeeded.

For the past three years, all that Krissa has known is the life of an Agent CETE and she has loved it. She is so fulfilled by her expectations and duties that she has not needed to return to any schools to finish what she started. Although she is more of a loner, there is a select few that she'll allow to go out on missions with her, because she trusts so few.

Etheriest Ability: Force Flame
Ability Description: Ability to create and manipulate one's own fire at will. Similar to Force Fire, the created flames can be shaped into any form and travel over distances. This ability also grants the user supernatural tolerance to heat and fire, as well as control over natural fires but not the fires of other force users. Because Force Flame is linked to the spirits and nature, the user's fires are hotter and more intense than regular fire, igniting any inflammable object caught in it's violet flames. This makes the ability difficult to control, as one may unintentionally scorch objects that get near.
-Strengths: Burns hotter and brighter than normal fire, more difficult to extinguish, provides good heat source when under control
-Weaknesses: Requires more mental effort to keep fire in check, more difficult to extinguish anything accidentally set on fire, easier to see from long distances than regular fire

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Napalm Grenade: A simple ball of fire is hurled towards the target, rapidly expanding upon contact or by the user's command. The projectile varies in size and speed, depending on how much ether is used. The projectile can also curve mid-flight if the user chooses. The curve's tightness depends on the user's skill. At Virsago's skill level, the projectile only travels about 10 ft before fizzing out.
• Hell's Pillar: A column of flame erupts from the ground, engulfing whatever's trapped inside. The diameter and height can vary, but the larger the pillar, the more ether is consumed. Virsago can only cast it as far as 5 ft away from him within his line of sight.
• Schrodinger's Hemisphere: The user is surrounded by a dense rotating dome of fire, acting as a soft shield as well as rapidly increasing the temperature inside. The dome can expand and shrink at the user's command, but the larger the radius, the greater the supply of fire. Primarily used for trapping enemies until they succumb to heat exhaustion.
• Falconier: Summons a group of falcon-shaped projectiles to circle around a target(s) before diving onto their prey, dousing it in fire. The size and number of birds may vary, but it depends on the amount of ether consumed.
• Sacred Fire: Jets of fire scream out of the user's hands and feet, incinerating anything within close proximity with the acclaimed heat to burn away the soul. With enough force, the jets provide substantial propulsion to fly short distances.


Skills/Abilities: Virsago possesses enhanced vision in daylight and in dark areas, as well as highly acute vision. He's well-educated for his age, with higher knowledge in astronomy, chemistry, poisonous plants, and geology. Thanks to his days camping alone, he's experienced in camping in forested, grassy areas.

Ability Description: Imani has the ability to manipulate most metals to her will, affecting their density, durability, or reshaping them into other items for her use. Her ability reacts differently with different types of metals, and some metals she has an easier time manipulating than others, but given enough time and energy she change the shape of any metal object she chooses

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Shackle - Imani can quickly reshape most metal into 'shackles' to immobilize assailants.
• Dagger - Imani can quickly reshape most metals into small metal daggers and, with some extra thought, weapons that would incorporate them (shinai, spiked knuckles, etc).
• Magnetize - Imani can instantly magnetize any ferromagnetic metals by aligning the magnetic moments of the atoms in the material.



Back Story:
Imani was raised by her father and her older brother, her mother having died due to complications in the late stages of her pregnancy that caused Imani to be born weak and premature. Her father tended to work long hours as a mechanical engineer, and so as she got older her brother (six years older) raised her as much as her father did.

When she was 18 she went to Delacroix University to get a degree in chemistry, as well as some training in her force that had been developing since high school. When she came out with her degree she quickly got a job at Zorlias corp, and has been doing the work of her dreams ever since.

Etheriest Ability: Friction Fix
Ability Description: The ability to increase or decrease the friction of any touched object, subject, or area. The larger the area and change in friction, the more ether that is required. In addition, the effect of an increase or decrease to friction is also dependent on his focus of ether. Originally Kilder figured out at an early age how to use his skill only to make small objects gain or lose friction, but soon was also able to concentrate the same power onto his own body. He can now increase or decrease the friction of a limited area as well. He is also capable of changing the friction of other living things, including people, but it requires touch and an intense concentration in which he can use his aura to transfer the energy directly from him to them. While this is technically true of all things he can use it on, living creatues are always far more difficult to control the amount of friction transfer. This has resulted in hilarious, yet often negative mishaps in the field (Rick has a folder full of files concerning these held from Kilder's rookie days. They're often at least good for a laugh, or to show the rookies what NOT to do.)

Back Story: Kilder and Piper are twin son and daughter of Urgot and Natasha Arturas. They weren't a rich family, especially at first, but when Urgot became friends with Cynric, more carreer paths opened up to him and the family was able to move up to a middle class standing.
Natasha wasn't very happy about Urgot's friendship with Cynric as she did not trust the man at first, but despite this came to accept it as Urgot was faithful and trusting enough not to play the same games he did. Cynric, after all, was a powerful man, and though she didn't agree with his behavior, understood how fun it could be to hang around him.
As it goes the children were raised within close enough proximity to one another, and the twins beame friends at an early age with Jenia and Zorlias. Kilder and Zorlias were in fact, best friends for quite some time. While Zorlias struggled with depressing thoughts and visions, Kilder always had just the goofy thing to say (or do) to cheer him up. Kilder knew that Zorlias relied on him for this, but the truth was, he was just as depent on Zorlias. For all the clumsy things Kilder was made fun of in school for, Zorlias could always muster the cool charisma to back him up. Thus, the class clown and cool kid, worked in balance. In more recent years, however, Zorlias has become distant and barely has anything to say to Kilder anymore. While their jobs definitely seperate them, Kilder does worry about his old friend and keeps up with how he's doing largely through his sister who works for him.

Back in his early high school years, when Zorlias acquired a new younger brother by the name Kyo, Kilder realized his sense of justice. Kyo, who was very shy, was often also the victim of bullying, something Kilder could very much identify with. Determined to help him, he and Zorlias found that using the bullies as the victims of their pranks when they messed with Kyo was their preferred method of serving said justice. This was one of the first times Kilder was actually able to feel that he would be able to use his power for a greater purpose in life, and formed a bond with Kyo to the point that he thought of him as a younger brother as well. Helping Kyo gave Kilder a sense of accomplishment greater than any prank he had made solely for his own entertainment, and Kilder didn't want to see this kid suffer like he might have if it weren't for Zorlias. He had been given someone to watch his back in Zorlias, and it just wasn't fair to let this kid go through school without friends to watch his back. Besides that, Kilder liked Kyo quite a lot as a friend. You really couldn't ask for a nicer kid, and he was plenty clever too.

Determined to shed some of his clumsy goof-up persona, he trained extensively to control his power and decided to go into criminal justice. As his friendship with Zorlias in recent years had decreased, his friendship with Jenia had increased. Kilder had always had a bit of a crush on her in his youth, and their growing mutual concern for her brothers led into friendship at some point.
It was in his early days at CETE that Jenia also recognised his vast knowledge of the criminal justice system, and asked him if would like to teach at the university. At this point Kilder was technically knowledgeable and skilled enough to become an agent, but due to this proposition decided instead to stay in the assistant's position and start teaching criminal justice at Delacroix University.
This worked more in both Cynric's and Jenia's favor, as they could not only keep tabs on one another, but also Cynric was hesitant to make Kilder into an agent due to the mishaps his skill could and had previously caused in the field. The new criminal justice program, recently started at Delacroix University, is taught largely by Kilder now, who icidentally has little time for actual case work anymore. He does still serve both the University and CETE, in that he is the proctor who gives the agent exam for CETE.

Etheriest Ability: Potential-Eyes
Ability Description: Not a future sight sort of divination, so to speak, but instead literally allows her to see one step ahead. She can read potential energy of one object at a time, or multiple small objects. If she envisions putting an object into motion, she can see the trajectory of it and the outcome of it (where it will come to rest). This only considers exactly one movement at a time. In addition this skill takes a lot of energy and focus to use, and even after years of training herself to use it, (which she does plenty at her job) it is still very limited. That said, it is an incredibly powerful skill that allows her many potential jobs due to it's accuracy. Assuming she knows how to use something, she can make it do exactly as she pleases, assuming she uses said object correctly.

Personality: Piper is very close to her brother. She always has been. They were rarely seperated as children, except by school, and even then not so much. She was also close friends with Zorlias, and even had a crush on him (which she might still). She, like her brother, has a good sense of humor, but a more level head on her shoulders. She was always a voice of reason and righteousness when Kilder's pranks got carried away. Her abilities have come to make her facinated with physics which sparked her interest that led her to working for the Zorlias Company later in life. Although she was considered a bit of a nerd or lab rat in school, her contibution to some of Kilder and Zorlias's pranks (which actually made them less damaging than they would have originally been), achieved her a bit more cool status than she originally would have. It also didn't hurt that she was actually really pretty in a more reserved sort of way. Underneath all the strict studiousness, she is still a very fun loving person today, but the stress of the situations piling up around her doesn't allow her a lot of time to cut lose, unfortunately..

Back Story: They are appropriately known to some as the physics siblings, Cause and Effect, and to even more as Fumbles and Know-it-all, possibly even more appropriately...
Piper is a natural born leader in many ways. She posseses unparalleled insight, which some say is indicative of her ability, and some say it's the other way around.
In her early childhood her and her brother loved pulling goofy pranks on others, but unlike her brother, her concern for the harm they could deal others caused her more stress as she grew older. Years of trying to help her brother control his power and his self made her more strict in many ways. Fortunately, her abilities aided her greatly in this, as well as in her physics studies. She often liked to do physics experiments, which Kilder agreed to aid in most of the time, at least when they were fun. She found this as a good way to help him harness his skills for good anyway. As they grew older, the duo had their falling outs on and off, but never really grew apart. In fact they were pretty reliant on each other, which some might even say to an alarming extent.
Although both have tried over the years, neither have been capable of maintaining a meaningful romantic relationship, and in Piper's case, she may be still chasing one that's too far gone.
In any case, they each now focus largely on their jobs and their family. Being the way she is, Piper, was seen by all three of the rivaling Delacroix family members as a valuable asset to each of their companies, and fought to get her on their side. After much swaying and in-(family)fighting at Delacroix family gatherings, Piper decided to join Zorlias Corp. The job seemed right for her anyway, and joining CETE or the University meant working with her dad or brother. She needed SOME away time from her family, after all. The added bonus of potentially re-connecting with Zolias was just the icing on the cake. Cenric was most butthurt he got 'stuck with the fool instead of her.'
Somedays she swears her brother will never grow up. At least someone relies on her. She still feels ignored at work, even being a team leader...

• Static Shock: Can use the static to cause temporary paralysis in a person. If he uses too much of the power and can do more damage without him realizing what he has done. He has learned over time to control how long the paralysis will last.
• Discharge: Can charge himself with the static around him from the atmosphere and use it to attack with. He can discharge it against his opponent in a lightning bolt forms when he puts his hands together after the charge.
• Lightening: Uses lightening as an attack against his opponent. It comes from his body as an attack and he has to stay still to use this move. Moving requires too much of his thought process and he has to use his whole body as a weapon for this attack.

Back Story: Jim grew up with a troubled family. His father left when he was young and never returned. He was a smart student but was soon failing classes. He managed to finish school and helped his mother at their business until she passed away from a sickness. He had already learned about his abilities before she passed so after she passed away from working so hard to raise him, he went to the university to learn how to control his ability. He knows his mother would have wanted that for him. He struggles with depression and hides his emotions from everyone. Only Professor Clemmons knows how he really feels at times. He uses his skills to help her with her studies to vent his frustrations out.

Ability Description: Braedon's ability allows him to release kinetic energy from specific points in his body: His elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles. Using the force of this kinetic energy, he can make stronger blows with his punches and kicks against his enemies and can even deal severe damage to those without physical defensive abilities or armor.

Additionally, kinetic energy can also wrap about his arms in a fashion that appears to be transparent guantlets, which are defensive energies that surround his limbs to help protect him. Essentially, they mitigate force and allows him to conduct more force during battle. When his defenses aren't up around his limbs and his shoulders, his ability can damage the rest of his body. So without the proper training from the army, or when lowered Ether scenarios, his power can severely backfire against him.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Arm/Leg Guantlent -- This arm guantlet is formed when the kinetic energy around his joints collect around his limbs to create a thin, transparent barrier that protects him from dealing damage to himself when using high-impact punches and kicks to his enemies or to objects. Keeping these guantlets formed can drain Ether rapidly, so he usually has them up during the motion of a punch or kick and then removing it after his strike has hit its target. However, these guantlets can also reduce the damage taken from his opponent when his arms or legs are used as a shield against enemy attacks.

• Kinetic Jump -- Depending on the amount of Ether spent, he can increast the height in which he can jump from a surface and into the the air. However, if he's standing on something particluarly unstable, he will be unable to have enough resistance to gain greater heights. Additionally, he can damage himself if he is unable to use his guantlets for landing whenever he has jumped rather high, so there is the risk of damage when he is unable to caluclate precisely how much force he will land from when jumping different distances. It's all a little over his head and he's still trying to grasp the mathematics of it.

• Ground Pound -- Braedon is sometimes surrounded by enemies, especially in Close Quarters Combat training. Whenever he is feeling especially overwhelmed, he'll simply hit the ground with kentic force, genrally with a punch to the floor. This releases a wave of kinetic force from his body that spreads outward in all directions that knocks nearby enemies back and away from him and usually off of their feet.

Back Story: During his public school years, Braedon was in and out of various schools, causing trouble and getting expelled. He was often in trouble due to his inability to put up with bullies and other ridiculous fools that he suffered as classmates.

Despite his inability to keep to a school and his reputation as a troublemaker, he was brought to the attention of the country's military due to his particular abilities after it had manifested. Of course, after that happened, very little school members messed with him, so he was able to stay into a single school for a longer period of time, after that.

The few that picked fights with him quickly ended up in a hospital, and one almost died...this wasn't inentional, since the power was new and Braedon barely knew how to control it. Due to his lack of control, he also damaged himself in most fights, which didn't help at all.

However, at the age of sixteen, he finally got into a foster home with foster parents that cared. His foster father didn't pass him on when he started causing troubles, but intead, taught him how to fight and taught him how to get out of situations without having to hurt others or himself. Best yet, he was able to get away from a bully without using his abilities at all.

Things started to look up, then, and it wasn't long before he was eighteen and signed up for the army. They liked his ability and the government made sure to have at least one Etheriest in each unit for the military to provide extra defenses, so he was a high-value asset to the military and was often passed around to train the recruits.

Eventually, he stepped out of the military and decided to train CETE after it was founded four years ago. With a bit of convincing from the CETE chief, he was apart of the program from the start and one of the first Agents brought onto the team. Ever since then, he has remained with CETE while doing jobs for the army on the side.

Ether Companion: Perdix
Companion Control Level (1 = Proficient, 5 = Inexperienced): 4
Companion Description: Perdix is an engineered organism that feeds on Ether and converts it to glucose for itself as well as a host that it merges with. As such, Perdix provides a meager amount of nourishment that allows its host to go without food for a longer period of time. When Perdix fuses with a human, the two are linked physically and mentally; the human can sense Perdix’s thoughts and emotions as well as feel a fraction of any pain Perdix experiences. Perdix also saps some of Ether from its host, facilitating the Ether-Glucose conversion while boosting its strength. Because Perdix and its host are fused at the cellular level, separating them would require separation cell by cell, or dismembering the host just above where Perdix is connected.  

Perdix can act independently of its host, but it is trained to respond to its host’s thoughts in milliseconds, moving as if it’s a part of the host. Because of its molecular composition, it can stretch and compact itself like putty, able to take on a variety of different shapes while having the structural strength of carbon fibre. These characteristics allow Bixxa to move faster than a healthy human adult with little physical training. Thanks to Perdix, Bixxa also possesses great arm and leg strength with limbs that can morph into any shape she desires. Perdix is resistant to moisture and high heat, but it becomes sluggish in cold weather, vulnerable to snap freezing, and it conducts electricity rather well.

Even though Perdix has its own thoughts and feelings, it has the mental capacity of a domesticated dog, communicating its desires to its host through mental synapses that travel to the hosts brain. It wants little more than to consume Ether, but it's been developed to have a sense of loyalty and companionship to its owner. Perdix can detect vibrations in the air, but it can't interpret sound or language, which is why its user must communicate with emotions rather than words. That doesn't stop Bixxa from speaking Perdix, but she always supplies her words with a little emotional cue from her mind.

If the host sustains physical damage, Perdix can cover the wound to prevent bleeding and infection, but the host's body is responsible for healing itself. Should Perdix be separated from its host, both individuals will notice a lack in energy. The user will take longer to cope, maybe even suffering fatigue as their body normalizes its glucose levels. Perdix will reinitialize full Ether absorption from the air around it, but it becomes mostly immobile, spending the glucose it makes to absorb more Ether.
Companion Spells/Abilities:
• Daddy long legs: Large appendages sprout from Perdix, useful for navigating uneven terrain or lending a couple more hands, able to change shape for different uses
• Wing suit: Perdix stretches into a thin membrane across Bixxa's arms and legs, allowing her to glide from rooftop to ground

Personality: Having lived several years on her own, Bixxa learned to be emotionally resilient and hardy. However, she struggles with the occasional loneliness from the lack of human connection. That’s why she views Perdix as a close friend, often talking to it as she would talk to a person. She tends to do it in front of people without realizing it, leading many to believe she’s either on drugs or completely insane. At this point she just says she thinks out loud whenever someone raises a question.

Banjee has a looser moral compass than most citizens, opting to scavenge for what she needs or just steal it if it’s easily replaceable, although, she sometimes finds herself taking something anyway if she absolutely must have it. She likes to blame Perdix for her spurs of compulsive behavior. Despite her meager lifestyle, she likes to keep a positive outlook in the grand scheme of things. Her nerves are not to be tested, but her friendliness is matched by her immense modesty. Unfortunately, her body and her lifestyle prevents her from making many friends, if any.

If there’s anything Bixxa likes, it’s climbing to the highest point she can find and looking down at the world below. When the chance permits, she also likes to glide as long as she can, imagining that she has angel wings. The best way to get on her bad side is to act obnoxious or self-conceited. Expect something valuable of yours to suddenly end up trashed or missing if you annoy her.

Back Story: Bixxa came from a simple village family that worked the fields for money and food. Her childhood was fairly uneventful until a massive tornado touched down, destroying everything in its path. She stayed in her house with her parents, but the tornado blew the building apart, causing it to collapse on all 3 of them. Bixxa was the only survivor, but she suffered a concussion, sending her into a coma. Her limbs were also shattered and mangled in broken forms. Next thing she knew, she was on a medical bed in a laboratory and she couldn’t feel her limbs.

She was horrified to see that her arms and legs were as black as night, not even realizing that the blackness had taken over both her upper and lower body. As Bixxa screamed, her arms flailed wildly around her, changing shape as if they were made of ink. Once her current situation began to sink in, she tried getting back home. She struggled to get off the bed, not even able to stand on her new legs. Bixxa crawled on her bare stomach until she came across a scientist. The scientist was quick to console the crying mess of a girl, explaining that she was unconscious for a long time and he had been taking care of her. He continued to explain what had happened after he carried the girl back to the lab. Bixxa couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Hearing of her family’s death and the village’s destruction brought only more tears, but somewhere in her heart, she was happy she survived.

The next few weeks were rough as Bixxa got used to her new body and the powers they granted. Getting accustomed to the strange feelings in her head took the longest time, but eventually she wielded Perdix as if it were an extension of herself. The scientist was very pleased to find that his experiment was working successfully. He raised Bixxa as if she was his own, but one afternoon, he went off to the city to get some supplies. Hours passed, but he never returned home. While waiting for the researcher to return, she heard faint noises on the ground floor above her. When she investigated, Bixxa found a raging fire that looked like it came from the windows. Bixxa escaped the house in time before it burned to the ground. And yet the scientist was still nowhere to be seen.

Bixxa travelled to the city where her scientist went, but after days of searching followed by nights of sleeping in the alleys, she couldn’t find a single trace. Getting desperately hungry, she used Perdix to steal some fruit from a vendor. It was at that point she saw how much freedom she had, and how exhilarating it was to run through the streets, avoiding the law. She resolved to hang around the city a little longer, stealing more food and exploring the area. By the time she left, the local authorities were on 24/7 patrol for a little girl with black hair and bandaged arms and legs. Bixxa took on a new moniker “Banjee”, and assumed the life of an urban nomad, exploring the world while taking what she needed.

Ability Description: The ability to channel the wild fire of Nature itself. She can shoot flames, flame shapes, create walls of flame, etc. It's more powerful than Fire, but harder to control. Requires less energy than Force fire for far more damaging flames. Can be variegated colors. Grants a temperature resistance to heat and cold.

Strengths: Multifaceted, strong attack
Weaknesses: Poor defense, most require good breath control, harder to control due to her power's tie to Nature


Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Flame Jutsu - she uses Flame attacks in combination with her martial arts attacks
• Jet stream - Powerful, localized flame bursts that allow her propel herself, hover, even limited flight.

Personality: Outspoken, prideful sometimes to the point arrogance, headstrong, disdainful to anyone who doesn't see things the way she does and non-Keltans in general, obsessive when it comes to her training and being "the best." Her most notable quirk is her relentless zeal for training, constantly going on monthly retreats to the extremes of the world to test her abilities and grow stronger, she is a boastful winner, and an angry loser when it happens and will slip away for weeks at a time to train whatever it was she lost in as she can't stand being outdone. She is motivated by a fanatical drive to be the best and prove that Keltans are the only true warriors in the world. She is afraid of rodents, being second, and most of all fears being outdone by her sister whom she has never been able to best in combat.

Back Story: Hailed as a prodigy among her peers, Ealga excelled in whatever she chose to do--though natural talent had less to do with it than an obsessive training ethic that gave even the most diehard Keltans pause. She was first in her class, in all of the martial tournaments, even in competitions. No one was her equal. Except her sister Brannagh.

Despite all of Ealga's hard work, she has never been able to best her sister, who is truly talented without trying. Her sister trains a modicum (by her standards, anyway), yet her gains are insurmountable. This has caused a bitter rivalry that is entirely one-sided, as Brannagh neither cares nor is interested in competition--which Ealga finds even more infuriating. For even further insult to injury, her sister is in direct contrast to everything Ealga believes in for the Keltan people, taking after their grandmother whom she adores, but has never really understood. However, the only one comparing herself to Brannagh is herself--if anything, her parents have showered her with more praise and doted on her the most. However, Brannagh is undettered by it all and has always done her own thing despite what her or her parents have said--again, their grandmother is the only one who has always seemed to understand Brannagh or even been able to reach her more often than not, but not always in a way Ealga has felt the girl should go.

Due to her work ethic, she graduated 2 years earlier than is common for her people at the tender age of 14 and left for her Journey barely a day after she received her diploma. Some worried she might be too young, but she couldn't be deterred. In that year, she made her mark in the world, entering tournaments and competitions and doing mercenary work, clashing with CETE several times. Further, she took down two E1s instead of just taking down one. She came home to a hero's welcome, her peers and parents lauding her accomplishments hanging on her every word--except Brannagh. Oh, her sister congratulated her on her journey and listened to her stories and was as far as she could tell genuinely glad to see her, but that same weird anti-Keltan pride seemed to subdue her as always.

It was Ealga's hope that Brannagh's journey (taken at the common age, the slacker) would open her sister's eyes to what it truly meant to be a Keltan. She kept a very vested interest in her sister's accomplishments, meager though they were in comparison to hers. But when she came back, instead of brimming with Keltan pride and boasts, she gave only a bare bones account of her tales and seemed troubled and even ashamed. What was wrong with this girl?!

Fed up with her sister's oddities, she left the village for a while to enter, and of course win, many competitions and tournaments. Moreover, she did more mercenary and bounty hunter work, again clashing with CETE a few times. It was one of her greatest joys when the organization had to ask her in as a consultant, showing the pathetic mongrels how a real warrior got things done. They were some of the most ungrateful lot she had ever encountered.

When she came back to Kelt, she found her sister doing healer work, but an odd spark was in her eyes. No doubt from that damn book she was constantly reading that their grandmother had given her. Apparently, it was the journals of one of the Keltans' greatest heroes, a man even she admired: Conlaodh O'Faolain. She found a kindred spirit in the man from what she'd read of him in the history books, having a zeal for training she felt matched her own. She found him very flighty otherwise, but no one ever doubted his strength as a warrior. Hopefully that damn book would give her an idea of proper Keltan spirit. Alas, this wasn't to be the case.

One night, she and Brannagh had a very heated argument in which case Brannagh had even attacked her unprovoked! At the end of it, Eagla saw something in Brannagh's mind click through her eyes and the very next day, she announced a second Journey to everyone's surprise, then floored them further as she invoked an ancient rite to not use her Etheriest abilities. The girl was a nutter--and it only infuriated her when she saw their grandmother in deepest support of Brannagh with a knowing smile.

After that, no one had heard a thing from Brannagh. All of Eagla's attempts to locate her only hit walls. No one by her name or appearance had been seen. In short, her sister had effectively disappeared. Her parents were almost worried until their grandmother informed them that she was in regular contact with the girl and that she was doing fine, but refused to disclose her location or what she was doing. She tried to hack her grandmother's connection, but that was quickly cut short as her grandmother reminded her why she was still called Hell's Rose. Sullenly, she gave up. Whatever; good riddance to that damned girl who didn't understand true Keltan pride and their destiny.

Since then, she's returned to the professional circuit, engaging in tournaments and the Etheriest Olympics.

After becoming charge, a constant bolt of electricity (in a slight zig-zag shape) appears out the end as a sword. (A mix between a Levin Sword and a lightsaber).
Etheriest Class: EC2 (training to be EC1)
Etheriest Ability: Electricity
Ability Description: Has the power to use thunder/lightning and electricity. He can create electricity or use his powers to summon lightning from the sky. He can also charge up electricity and manipulate it in electronic devices. Lightning turns into the colour blue (originally yellow) when Corrin increases power to higher levels.

Strengths: Allows very quick movement and attacks. Electric technology can be deactivated by Corrin (Such as weapons. Corrin can only disable electronic tech as his ability can only manipulate electricity. Ether tech is powered by Ether, something unrelated to Corrin’s ability.). Can attack from further distances.

Weaknesses: Ground abilities are quite effective against Corrin. Bulky opponents are hard to attack. Physical attacks are more effective on Corrin. Ether technology cannot be deactivated, allowing for ether weapons to be a threat to Corrin (see in strengths).

• Thunder Fists (Corrin’s hands glow yellow and sparkle of electricity. Corrin can then punch opponents at increased strength and power. When his fists become blue, power increases.)

• Paralysing Touch (Corrin’s hand becomes bright yellow and crackles with electricity. One touch can temporarily paralyse most opponents. Paralysis can last from five seconds to a few minutes, depending on how much power is used and for what purpose, such as disarming or questioning.)

• Charge (Corrin can use his hands to charge up technology or his weapon. This ability can also be used to drain electricity from sources to charge Corrin and increase his power. If charging himself extensively, pain may be felt. Physical contact isn’t needed to drain small objects, but is easier with contact. Contact is needed for large objects. Draining small tech takes less than five seconds (like small weapons) while larger stuff can take up to an hour (such as large generators). Corrin hasn’t found his limit of charge yet. The longest he has drained an object for is 30 minutes in training.)

• Bolt Strike (Variable strength and sized bolts are released from Corrin’s hand. Usually bright yellow but changes to blue when power increases like the rest of Corrin’s abilities. May create an explosion after fired.)

Back Story: Corrin's parents were both officers, with Corrin's father having a similar ability to Corrin. They were always supportive and would aid Corrin in whatever he wanted to achieve.

Corrin was a prodigy at school, excelling in maths, Etheriest Training and elemental studies. He wasn’t very popular with the typical ‘cool kids’, but was known by most for his kindness and maturity. He always had an extremely strong conscience and never did anything that would get him into trouble.
Since an early age, he has been Makarist but doesn’t overly express about it, despite being quite religious. He played Etherball during his teen years, but decided to follow academic studies instead. He currently plays for a small team, not a team in any main league.

Corrin was offered a full scholarship to Delacroix University after finishing High School by Jenia herself, after she saw large amounts of potential through her Ether Ability. He became an advanced student when studying elemental studies, Etheriest Training and maths. Cynric Delacroix also saw his potential, and offered Corrin a job as a part-time CETE officer in the company’s inaugural year alongside his parents. This was a great opportunity for Corrin, and has since been a vital officer and has become quite accomplished.

During this year at CETE, both of his parents supposedly died in on a mission. Corrin, utterly devastated from this event, used this sorrow and anger to his advantage and decided to tirelessly train to take revenge for whoever killed is parents. However, Skylar, who had already lost her parents, helped Corrin through this stage, and focus on the future.

Starting at EC2 when starting at Delacroix, he soon became EC4 in the same year he finished studying at Delacroix University. Upon graduation, he was offered a job as a teacher at the university. He teaches maths, Etheriest Training and elemental studies. He has since been offered a job at Prestige Land Inc. However, he turned it down and wants to stay at both CETE and the university, through pure love for the job and loyalty.

Corrin was often over-trained at CETE, but didn't really complain about it. He would be forced to use his powers for 30 minutes at a time, especially his Charge ability. This would cause him to experience tremendous pain and exhaustion, and would be relieving to expel all of this energy. It was at this point of time that Corrin had a small mental breakdown. The pressure of performing well at university and the continuous training at CETE caused him to accidently create an explosion (similar to an explosion in the organisations initial year) during training, which broke expensive training equipment and injured two people. These people were okay, but most people weren't pleased.
Cynric understood the situation and let Corrin off for a few months, allowing Corrin to finish school and overcome his PTSD. He returned to CETE recently, but everyone views him differently. This has made him become a relatively silent character, different from his free and happy self.

Corrin has always had the trait of holding in his anger without telling anyone. He is usually calm, mature and kind person. However, he finds that the way of maintaining this is by letting all his anger out through boxing with Thunder Fists. It is always done in secret so no one accidently encounters him and accidentally feels the consequences.
He lives in an apartment with his two life-long friends Skylar Truedom (Water Etheriest; EC2) and Kellam Vaike (Wind Etheriest; EC3). They have attended school together all their life. Skylar's profile is below while Kellam's will be posted at a later date.

Working at the University is purely for the love of the subjects and wishing to help a younger generation. The CETE job was originally used to help pay for his education, but has since grown to love the job and is vital in many cases with his power and tactical thinking. He is currently on a case regarding a mysterious masked hero/vigilante known as The Wisp who has been spotted around the city helping civilians. However, the unknown identity also holds secret information of CETE’s.

Etheriest Ability: Aqua Life
Ability Description: Skylar has the ability to create and manipulate water. This ability has much beauty about it, but is also extremely useful. This ability is also used to heal. One of her signature abilities is Aqua Heal, a method of using water to heal wounds and purify injuries. Shapes can be created from the water, often using this to make others happy. However, water can also be used as an attack or defense (such as putting up a wall of water to protect herself from fire, etc.) This ability also allows her to stay underwater for long periods of time.
Strengths: Good defense method, as it can slow down projectiles and enemies. Heals allies so they can continue to fight. Relatively easy to control and use.
Weaknesses: Water isn’t very strong. Electricity is very effective against it. Very delicate, causing large opponents to hardly be affected by it.

Signature Spells/Abilities:

• Water Flow (Water can be created or used. It is mostly clear, and ripples around in various shapes and sizes. This can be thrown as a projectile or can be shot as a continuous blast of water to attack. Defensively, a large wall of water can be created and used as a barrier. Skylar also uses the beauty of this ability to cheer people up.)

• Aqua Heal (Water may be used to heal wounds. Water creeps around injured area and heals slowly. Small injuries may take up to 15 seconds, while large injuries in operations don’t completely heal from this move. It may help drastically, but will never heal major injuries completely. Relief from pain may be given. It has other uses though, such as meditation.


Personality: Sky is one of the most compassionate, kind and understanding people around. People know her for her calming and relaxing nature. She has always wanted to help others, the reason why she became a nurse. She loves almost everyone, making sure that they are okay and is always there for them.

Back Story: Just after being born, Sky’s parents were involved in a fatal car crash, both passing away at the scene. Her grandmother took her in and brought her up. The death of her parents caused Sky to grow up quicker than most others. This is also one of the things that relates her to Corrin so much. The incident also helped her become a Makarist.

A necklace owned by her mother was the only thing left from te accident. Sky wears it everyday and it's very close to her heart.

In Primary School, Sky never really fit in due to her personality. However, it was at High School that she found her true self. She became the person that everyone loved, no matter what society they came from. It was in her first year of High School that she met Corrin and Kellam. With their support, she followed her dream of becoming a nurse.

She followed Corrin to Delacroix and studied Nursing and Elemental Studies. She was at the top of her class in Nursing, graduating from the subject on her 25th birthday. She continues to study Elemental Studies today with Corrin as her teacher.

Her passion for nursing is fueled by her parent’s death and the will to help stop others going through what she went through. Eventually, her childhood goal was fulfilled and she became a nurse. She loves her job and is even more helpful because of her Ether ability.
She lives with Corrin and Kellam. She loves both of them, but Corrin especially. This is romantic love (yet. Eventually they will.), but a love of friendship. They have been friends for over 20 years, and have been through many highs and lows together.

Ability Description: Kellam has the ability to create and manipulate wind. Through this, he may create blasts of air or create tornadoes/cyclones/hurricanes. The wind he uses is usually grey, and the clouds around that area also become grey. Small strips of air overlap each other when the wind is in a spherical shape.
Strengths: Hard to defend against. Good knockback. Makes it hard for the opponent to move.
Weaknesses: Weak to electricity, alerts enemies to whereabouts, may lower darkness depending on how much Kellam uses his powers.

Signature Spells/Abilities:

• Gust Blast (Wind can be created or controlled by Kellam. He usually forms it into a ball, which he throws. Upon impact, an explosion of wind may occur. Otherwise, Kellam may use an invisible wall of wind to hit an opponent, sending them flying back.)

• Torrential Cyclone (Kellam creates a mini-cyclone/tornado. It spins around rapidly, sucking in things around it before throwing them back out. Kellam controls it’s movement. It may last up to 20 seconds.)


Personality: Kellam is the least mature of the group by far, despite his older age. Although, he is by far the funniest. He has a very dry sense of humour, and even finds the time to include this humour in serious missions. He is sometimes boastful, but is what you would call a ‘loveable larrikin.’ He is passionate about his work and loves working with Corrin as a partner. However, when Kellam decides to intervene in an issue, humour somehow fades from his usual persona.


Back Story: Kellam is the only one of the group whose parents are still alive. They are currently senior officers at CETE, and knew Corrin’s parents before their death.

Kellam wasn’t terrible at school, but it was obvious that his talents lied elsewhere. He excelled in anything physical and was awed by his class mates after showing off his skills. This allowed Kellam to become a ‘cool kid’ in Primary School, his ego also growing.

It wasn’t until High School that Kellam met his match. Corrin was equal to him in physique, and also got much better grades. They developed a rivalry, but eventually Kellam turned out on top. It was later found out that Corrin allowed Kellam to beat him in a school battle competition on purpose. Once learning about this. Kellam approached Corrin and questioned the act. Corrin said that he purely didn’t want the attention and that it was better for Kellam to win it. This sacrifice moved Kellam, a rare instance for him. He soon became friends with Corrin and gave up his role of being a ‘cool kid.’

Kellam studied Elemental Studies and Etheriest Training at Delacroix University. He graduated from Etheriest Training at the age of 24, instantly being offered a job at CETE because of his talent and his parents’ position. He continued with Elemental Studies and finished last year.

After Corrin’s explosion incident while training, Kellam felt the need to do something about it. He disagreed with the way CETE used Corrin, and created another identity known as ‘The Wisp.’ He became a ‘hero’ to the public, but in doing so created conflict with CETE. His actions as ‘The Wisp’ are very secretive, and makes sure that he is gone before the CETE look for him. He has openly claimed that he knows some of CETE’s information, and was planning to announce what they did to Corrin at the right time. Additionally, he holds a secret from both Corrin and CETE about another incident that took place at CETE in its inaugral year, and has threatened to reveal that information to the public.

Personality:Eleanor is a woman with a strong front and usually is polite, but very direct. She doesn't like to go around the bush, she likes to go directly to the situation. However she is good with communication and tries her best to shoot her models the best way she can and give pointers and direction of how to place themselves to look better on camera. She'll be very sweet with most, so as long you don't get to her bad side. If you did, you better hide in a bunker for a week ! Her aura alone when mad at someone is terrifying. She also have another side she tends to leave inside, but she have a collection of boys love books and comics.... and she tend to fangirl on the inside when two of her male models get a bit too close. She's too proud to show that fangirling on the outside though.

Back Story:Eleanor was introduced to photography quite early in her life as her father, Leon Wallace had his own company and was well known for his work in the business. She assisted him into the matter and learned quickly as well. She also was intrigued by a lot of artistic aspect and was interested into learning a lot of techniques and art like drawing, sewing, crafting ect. She studied in art and helped her father with the studio on part time. At some point however, her father fell ill and couldn't do as many hours. Her mother helped him at home and Eleanor had just finished school, so she proposed to take over and help out. The Wallace Photography Studio is now mostly ran by her and a few assistants/makeup artists. Her original style often catch the attention of many as well. It's not every day you see a steam punk lady.

Weapons (if any): Although not a weapon, Delilah carries a staff that once belonged to her mother. Long and crooked, ending in a twisted coil, it is as tall as she is and made from wood, adorned with baubles and wrapped in fabric, for comfortable grip.

Ability Description: Delilah is able to manipulate the physical world around her using her minds keen focus. Lack of training means she has spent most of her life only mastering the offensive aspects of it. Pulling objects and enemies like towards her and about the area around her. She lacks the fine control to do anything more precise.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• 'Undertow': Delilah yanks enemies and small to medium sized objects towards her in a brief, violent pull; potentially flinging them away like a living projectile.
• 'The Calling': Delilah forms a small, brisk orbit around herself, yanking lighter beings and creatures, as well as objects into a small cyclone around her.
• 'Spearhead': Delilah unleashes a powerful kinetic blast towards her enemy, hitting them with raw force and knocking them back and away at great speed.



Personality: Friendly and exuberant, Delilah has a zest and enthusiasm for life and learning that few can match. She is an intelligent soul, with a soft, lulling voice capable of intense discussion. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and her family, and exhibits a great tenacity in the face of danger. Despite her generally kind and generous demeanor she has limited patience for those who try to talk down to or fool her. Her naivety in the face of modern technology should not be taken for stupidity, as, given the chance, she will prove a quick study to whatever one bothers to teach her. Of her more negative qualities she is impulsive when it comes to joy and affection, quickly engulfing her friends in joyous hugs, or flinging herself headlong into a lake on a hot summer day. Back Story: Raised in the wilds, Delilah lived a calm, peaceful life alongside her mother. As she grew up, she realized there was a large, unexplored world much unlike her own out there, waiting to be explored. But rather than venture out, exploring the great unknown, she stuck to her mothers side, refusing to abandon her- for family was one thing she valued above all else. They ate together, laughed together, and when the time came for her ether abilities to manifest, they trained together. Her mother encouraging her focus, egging her on to test herself even further. Delilah did anything to make her mother proud. The reason she managed to cultivate her abilities to such heights on her own is, in its entirety, due to her mothers loving encouragement. Delilah had a father too, but her mother refused to speak his name. The only thing she would give the girl was a grainy photo of him, the years chipping away at much of the detail that time had already forgotten. The years went on, and other patrons of the wilderness visited the women's doorstep, met with nothing but compassion and kind words. But the only ever-present presence either of them had was each other.

Her mother withered, and bent, with Delilah doing all she could to take up her mothers share of the work; crafting her a walking stick when she could no longer shuffle along on her own. Until the day her mother, for all her beauty, all her kindness and love, faded from the world, leaving Delilah alone. She was heartbroken, burying her mother, building effigies of her mothers favorite flowers, stringing up bird feathers and petals together on a wreath to cloak her grave in. She did not leave the house for days, and the surrounding area heard nothing but her anguished cries. When Delilah had finally calmed, realizing she was now alone in the world, searched through her belongings for her picture of her father. His faded features, his nameless face, his blurry eyes; and she resolved to find him- for what is a life if you have no one to share it with? She gathered what she thought she would need, grabbed her mothers staff, and said what might be the last goodbye to the house she lived in with her mother, and ventured off into a brave new world.

Etheriest Ability:Quad death blades
Ability Description:Summons four blades that are attached to her body, two of them are attached to her arms and the other two are attached to her legs. The ones on her arms on the side with the pinkie finger and are parallel to the finger nail, it goes from below her wrist to above her elbow. As for the ones on her legs they face her toes and go from above the ankle to below the knee. They are the length of a short sword for her. She can make them look like whatever she wants, but they have the strength and durability of steel. The blades can last as long as a few seconds to at least an hour with concentration. When one or both blades break, in order to fix them she must dismiss the one that broke (or both) and recreate it, doing this requires a good amount of ether. While that requires ether, keeping the blade(s) once created requires none. She often times will cut herself on the blade, forgetting that she has created them or using it as a form of interrogation, but she mostly forgets them to which she cuts her cloths and herself in the process. In many cases she has spent a lot of money on buying cloths like shirts, but mostly pants, to keep up with what she rips and tears. In combat they are used as short swords and can be used to cut into people who are attacking her. They can also be used to block and deflect attacks. Outside of combat they can be used to climb walls(, cut food for cooking or cutting wire fences to get through them). The problem with having these blades is that you have to be conscientious about what cloths you wear, you wouldn't want to rip up your favorite shirt or pants. Another problem with having these blades is that you can only attack those that are within melee range of you. A third problem is that she can only target herself with the ability. A strength of the ability is that they are pretty light to have on your arms and don't cause problems with movement. The second strength of this ability is how she can attack multiple enemies that are within range.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• Wall climb: is an ability where she uses her blades to climb up a solid wall, or to stop herself from moving in gale force winds. She does this by pushing the tip of her blade into the wall, at least up to her hand if a little less. This is done for stability to climb the wall. She will then push up with her feet and stick the other blade into the wall, using this method to climb higher and have a good amount of stability when climbing. Although she can use them in this way, it makes sense that depending on the structure of the wall and how tightly packed the material is it makes it harder for her to climb the wall. The less tightly packed the material, the faster she can climb.





Back Story:She discovered her etheriest ability at the age of 14 years old, she discovered it when she watched her dad be killed by a murderer right in front of her. In a fit of rage, she used her etheriest ability and had killed the person that murdered her father. After having gone through this ordeal she decided to train to get stronger, she did this by training with a well known etheriest named Malchior in the city of Nothlynn. She trained with him for many years, until she learned the secret that had be kept from her. That secret was that she had stopped the murderer, until now she thought that this person was still out there roaming the lands, this had been kept a secret from her for many years. By now she was the age of 19. She decided to go the Delacroix university, and takes studies in the way of the body and how it works. She did this to become and fitness trainer. She wanted to do this to be able to train her body and help train others who wanted to become stronger as well. She also decided to work at the university, she decided to work at the university when she learned they had a sport called etherball. She helps train people at ehterball as a coach, not just that, but she also works at the university as a P.E. teacher. Helping the students to get stronger as well. Even though not all of them have ether abilities, nor are all of them physical ones, but when they get you get in fight having the strength and stamina to keep going is always something good to have. At least in her opinion it is. Not only does she coach for etherball, but she also plays it. She mostly does the basic etherball, since her ether ability isn't a ranged attack, but she has played advanced before. She has also done both the team and solo version of the game, she doesn't really have a preference over which one she does. She has a good win lose ratio, with her games usually ending in wins for both team and solo.

She is a very skilled tinkerer and mechanic, able to fix most electronic devices in her house as well as her family's vehicle(s). She enjoys playing guitar, and singing on occasion, though songwriting is her major vice and hobby. Trained in Capoeira. She has a vast fondness for animals, though tragically she's never been able to actually adopt a pet. She settles for feeding the neighborhood strays.

Etheriest Ability: 'Unknown'/Some form of leg strengthening.
Ability Description: While the details of her ability have eluded her, Altia knows her Ether Ability is based within her legs. She is able to run faster, kick harder, fall from greater distances, due to the power held in her legs. She has speculated she has the ability to fly, but has just failed to do so yet, though all of her professors have dismissed the notion. Nonetheless she boasts devastating leg strength and movement speed, which suits her just fine.

Personality: Altia boasts a friendly demeanor that most don't bother to see. Always eager to help those in need, Altia's friendly and kind disposition was cultivated from a life of loneliness and rejection. Never wanting to allow others to feel the way she did in her younger years, Altia is always ready to step up to 'casually' swoop in and pester somebody with her friendship. She cares infinitely more than she lets on, and her lazy, sarcastic, though still compassionate demeanor, is a way to prevent herself from getting hurt.

She's always quick on the draw with her jokes, and is always eager and happy to make others laugh. Though she can be a hot head at times, namely in her rebellious youth, she has learned to mellow out in recent years, funneling her raw emotion into her creative pursuits.

Back Story: Born to excessively successful parents, Altia was raised within the lap of luxury. All she needed was to open her mouth to be fed, reach out her arms to be clothed, and merely point to whatever she wanted, and it would be dropped into her lap. Though, when it came to her parents affections, that want was always out of reach.

They ignored her.

Success was expected of her from a young age, the harrowing threat of disappointment and failure a guillotine that hung over her neck from infancy. She was always expected to be brighter, better, stronger than all the other kids- there was no sense in second place. As she grew up, the lack of her parents affection began to turn her into someone with limited ambition. Things she formerly loved held no joy for her, and she stopped taking pride in what she was good at. As she grew up, she was easily able to breeze through classes, disappointing but placating the teachers that were so sure she was meant for some form of 'greatness'.

What was the point of greatness if you had no one to relish in it with? No family? No friends?

Despite all of her efforts to make friends, her isolation expanded beyond her family life. She maintains a small circle of acquaintances, but no close friends she can truly consider 'hers'.

Whitty is a young woman of average height, standing around 5'7" (170cm). Her lanky frame belies the physical power she actually boasts. Her skin and hair are chalk white. The coloring of her eyes has been inverted, turning her pupils and irises white, and her sclera black, projecting her seemingly soulless visage. She often wears makeup to create the image of a clown or doll, which creates a more inviting image, accompanied with eccentric clothing to complete the look.

Abilities:/Skills: Whitty is exceptionally athletic. She's strong, fast, and fairly adept at performing highly acrobatic feats. She's actually a pretty good entertainer across the board, being musically talented and a gifted actress. Whitty isn't a scientific genius, but she is incredibly clever, good at improvising, and a capable big picture thinker. One should never let her demeanor trick them into believing her a fool. She isn't.
Weapons (if any): A comically oversized mallet.

Etheriest Ability: The Clown
Ability Description: Whitty is capable of spreading cheer through her touch or fear with her laugh. Upon making physical contact (which needn't be directly skin-to-skin, or even initiated by herself), she's able to cause people to laugh, even improve their mood. The effect is additive. As she continues to hold on, they'll continue to laugh. If she lets go, a timer begins to count down until they stop laughing. But if she touches them again, the effect stacks, causing the laughter to continue for even longer.

Strength 1: Exceptional Support Viability
Strength 2: Can affect multiple targets (though isn't optimized to, thanks to the timer)
Strength 3: Team Combo Friendly

Weakness 1: Lack of ranged options means vulnerability is always a factor.
Weakness 2: Minimal Defense against non-physically-inclined assailants.
Weakness 3: Effects aside from the laughter itself can be overcome or ignored with sufficient willpower.

Signature Spells/Abilities:
• (EC5) The Killing Joke - Whitty is able to increase the intensity of her target's laughter through subsequent tags or simply holding onto them, causing them to expel all of their oxygen. If the timer on the laughter doesn't run out before then, the end result is their succumbing to asphyxiation. She can release them from this with enough time to simply see them pass out, or she could allow it to continue until they're a corpse.

• (EC4) The Best Medicine - The healing power of laughter is no joke. By manipulating the laughter of herself or others, Whitty is able to suppress the pain of the intended party. What's more, she's able to restore energy and heal minor injuries as long as they continue laughing, as well. Cuts, bruise, burns, anything that isn't significant damage to vital organs or bones, she can repair. Though it also doesn't apply to illness, just injury.

• (EC3) A Comedy of Fear - Through her own laugh, Whitty is able to induce fear and paranoia. Those subjected to this may second guess themselves, causing them to make mistakes, or be placed on such high alert they perceive a threat where there is none. Some may even become generally hostile.

• (EC2) Truth Serum - Through touch, Whitty can compel any victim to tell the truth. As long as they're laughing, she can trigger this influence. Those subjected to it are unable to lie. However, those with a sufficient enough force of will can potentially force themselves to avoid speaking at all.

• (EC1) A Touch of Madness - Whitty can induce delirium upon laughing targets. If she tags them repeatedly, the effect stacks much like her other abilities. As such, her target becomes farther gone, the more times she's able to tag them. Targets are affected differently. Some experience loopiness and vertigo, some become delusion, some even experience outright hallucinations.

Personality: Whitty is a fun-loving (if a bit unorthodox) individual. She spreads cheer with the utmost delight by sharing her cheek-to-cheek grin and infectious laugh with everyone she meets. She finds the humor in life and laughs at hardships, rather than become disheartened by them. In that much, she's truly an inspiration. An embodiment of the idea that life doesn't have to be that frightening when you approach it with a smile.

At least... that's what she's like on the surface. In truth, if the real Whitney McCreedy is even still alive, she's buried somewhere so deep that it'd take a miracle to find her. Because this woman is little more than a nightmare. Morally dubious at best and borderline psychotic at worst, Whitty is dangerously unpredictable. Rather than seeing the comedy of life, she sees life itself as a joke. A comedy of errors. A tremendously unforgiving farce. And this horribly cynical outlook has led to her current state. It's difficult to really call her evil. In fact, she can seem downright noble at times. But she's not well. That much is certain. She maintains her cheerful guise through pretty much anything, no matter how horrible, seldom letting her inner darkness show. Her playfulness is accented by a horrifically morbid sense of humor, at times, for example. Yet she maintains that innocence even then. As if what she's saying or doing is perfectly all right.

The sure mark of a fool is to make that assumption of another, based solely on appearances. One should not take Whitty for a fool. She is an incredibly intelligent young woman. She's opportunistic, wily, and manipulative. Add to that her penchant for unrepentant ruthlessness when she so feels like it, and she is anything but a harmless clown, regardless of how innocently playful she seems.
