I'm beginning a role-play as soon as my two role-plays "ER" and "WoE" reach their conclusion. However, I've decide to give a heads up to everyone on the registration, so feel free to take your time in character creation. If you have any questions at all, ask in the discussions thread.

You don't have to be a magic user or a guild member, if you don't wish to be. Additionally, your rank will be assigned to you after all registration has been completed. Guild Ranks are F, D, C, B, A, and S. (F is a newcomer and S is generally a Guild Master.)

Rules:
1) You may have two characters--each with one, specific magic ability.
2) Follow the RP Guidelines.
3) Be specific in your character creation--I want ability details and examples. The clearer you can make it to me, the better.
4) All Guild Creation and Masters should be first approved by me.
5) All alignments are open for use, be sure to use a DnD based alignment--if you don't know what that is, ask.
6) If your character is NOT approved, make the changes that are specified or you cannot role-play with your registered character.
7) If you don't get the rank/character concept/guild you desire, don't complain about it.
8 ) Respect the RPH's.
9) Each character's magic ability must have a negative "side affect."

Appearance: Has longish sandy-blonde hair that he intentionally leaves unkempt and pale grey eyes. He stands at nearly 6 feet tall and has a somewhat toned, athletic body. He dresses in tough, old brown pants, a white shirt, and a brown jacket. His hands are noticeably covered in burn scars.

Occupation (if any): No permanent position, usually takes temporary construction work on the rails or various guild assignments.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Has the skill “Ignite,” which allows him to set anything on fire at will so long as he is touching it and says 'ignite.' The power works on anything, humans as well as objects, but when he uses the power it immediately sets on fire everything on his hands and everything his hands are touching - he can't pick and choose. He also has no control over the fire once it has started, and can be harmed by his own flames like anyone else. Beyond magical abilities, he’s also a talented liar and quick-witted, and while not particularly strong he is a quick and agile hand-to-hand fighter.

History/Back Story: Seere was born and lived his entire life in the United Merchant States, living in a lower class family with six other siblings. They managed to scrape by, barely, and when Seere was fifteen years old he decided to leave home, with the encouragement of his father, to seek his fortune and give his family one less mouth to feed.

From then on he spent his life on the road, walking or hitching coach rides about the UMS in search of work. Most of the work he found was along the new railroads, and the people he met and the things he saw while working turned the naïve, soft-spoken boy into the crude, self-centered, and laid-back man he is now. He lives for personal pleasure and gain alone, and believes that whatever he does is fine so long as he doesn’t get caught at it. He ended up joining a guild as just another way to find work, taking guild assignments alongside his usual work on the rails.

Home Country: Now resides in Perta City on the UMS and Sarrice Border. Originally from Holstein Kingdom.

Occupation (if any): Just guild stuff.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Light magic. There are various things she can do with it, such as bend light to make illusions, create a light shield to block things, shoot damaging beams of light, make a sword made of light, etc. The downfall is that after each use, she needs to absorb more light to do something else (the amount depends on the power of the ability she wants to use). Therefore, if she uses a move at night she can't recharge and use another one until the next sunny day (on cloudy days she recharges more slowly). Also, she's afraid of the dark.

History/Back Story: She grew up in a small town in Holstein Kingdom with her parents and older brother. Several years ago, while the family was travelling to Sarrice, they were held up and all were killed save for Freyia, who managed to escape thanks to her magic (none of the rest of her family were magic users). She made it to the nearest city, Perta, and joined Infinity Edge, vowing revenge on all criminals.

Occupation (if any): Freelance portrait artist. Since there isn't a huge demand for such things, he generally just does whatever the guild needs him to.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): His ability is called "Restrict", which allows him to restrict the movement of an enemy with a magical vine made of pale green light. The consequence of using it is that after the battle, whatever limbs he restricted on the enemy will develop a strong 'pins and needles' sensation for at least an hour, perhaps longer depending on the duration of the spell during battle. For example, if he immobilized the enemy by tying their legs, his own legs would have the pins and needles feeling for an hour after the fact. Needless to say, this results in a lot of clumsy behaviour. He also has mild pain/stiffness in his joints most of the time.

History/Back Story: Alexis was born into a working class family. His parents both died from disease when he was young and he was adopted by his eccentric artist uncle. The man taught him how to paint, read and write but not much else. When his uncle died of old age, Alexis opted to join a nearby guild for the sense of security it would offer him. He was drawn to Infinity Edge because of its inclination toward protection. He's a bit awkward, offbeat and introverted and prefers to spend any free time he has reading and painting.

Occupation (if any): Caretaker for her grandmother. In her free time she performs at the local venues.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): She is a healer. However she has to be careful because in order to heal she has to take on some of the ailment she is healing. The more serious the wound the more damage she takes on. She is a dancer and loves to perform for people. She has two steel fans that she can use for defending herself, but now are primarily props for her dance.

**Since it was asked for more details on her negative effects** Currently she is not a strong healer, so she cannot completely heal any life or death injuries. If there are complications to physical injures (such as poison or other things), she will take on those affects too. As she gets stronger, the more complicated injuries she can heal. Also the less the negative affects will damage her. She will never be able to regenerate any body parts. If an arm is cut off, it is cut off. As far as healing from magical damage. It is the same as the physical. So if she is trying to heal paralyze, she won't be able to move a body part. If she tries to cure blindness, her vision will be affected.***

History/Back Story: She grew up in a very tumultuous house. She is the only girl from a large family. Her brothers were always overprotective of her and that prevented her from having many close relationships. Once she became of age she moved away from them, wanting to become her own person. She keeps in contact with her youngest brother and parents. She changed her name and fled to the Sarrice Kingdom where she lives with her grandmother. Under her grandmother’s tutelage she discovered her healing magic. She now lives on her grandmother’s farm outside of the city and takes care of her and the farm. She does get into the town where she entertains the people with her dancing. She uses a fake stage name when she dances, Clementina. She also uses wigs when she is performing, to hide her true identity. She also hides her beauty when working on the farm and when she isn't performing. She does not belong to any guilds currently, finding them trivial.

Magic Ability (if any): 'Assemble/Disassemble' : A type of telekinetic ability that allows the user to put together/take apart object(s). The materials must be processed and ready to be assembled, (Generally the materials must not be in the raw state) having been processed and prepared for the desired project.

To 'Disassemble' the object must be able to be taken apart without much difficulty and without destroying the object in the process. (Welds, Rivets, and other permanent means of bonding prevent this ability).

At her current level she can affect objects up to a range of about 10ft, and up to 150LBS, the parts hover and maneuver in the necessary manner to be put together or taken apart. The time necessary although significantly shorter than doing so physically still is proportionate to the task, this could be anywhere to 1/5th to 1/10th the time, depending on her familiarity.

Skills Crossbows, Knives, Pole-arms, Staves.

History/Back Story: Abandoned to her Father's care after birth, she was raised by him often traveling alongside him from one job to another due to her father being a Master Clockmaker. Unfortunately this was ended short at the age of 14 when he suffered a work related death while Re-'Assembling' the UMS Clock-tower during scheduled maintenance. Through her father's guild connection, she was given into the care of her Uncle (A rather prominent and well-known provider of Adult 'Companionship' ) Whom deemed it necessary to instruct her on her new Role in the inner circles of higher status.

After several years of repaying her Uncles good Graces she left Quinsenterra and struck out on her own. She was forced to relearn much of her magic to earn her living instead of falling into the dangers of prostitution or returning to her former Occupation. Luckily she has built several good working relationships with different construction companies due to her uncommon Labor saving magic skills.

In her off hours she undertook several classes on different weapons. This mainly due to the dangers lurking after pretty young women, and due to the offensively lacking abilities of her magic. Something she has always felt is a major hindrance to performing guild quests and recognition as a magic-user.

Personality: She is rather loud and rough, often having a more masculine manner. However she can disassemble (Pun not intended) into an elegant well mannered lady with little to no effort when desired.

Appearance: Have short ginger hairs, the back going to the middle of his neck and the front to his chin, his bang goes to about the middle of his face, always kept on the sides. His face have many femenine trait and his eyes are of blue, sometime green color. However the eye color change is rare. As clothes he have comfortable black pants with long to the knee boots, a long sleeve black shirt and a very detailed leather armor. This one is of blue and brown color and is sleeveless, ending to the mid-upper leg.

Occupation (if any): Almost always on a job, if not he either is training, trying to find information about new possible equipement by traveling or just simply enjoying his free time. Sometimes stopping while blushing at some... other very pretty man.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Kurtiss have the ability called Ex-Equip that make him capable to change armor/weapon at will within matters of seconds. These equipment are kept into a sort of other magical dimention and whenever he call upon an armor, a light will shine where the clothes are and the armor will form and appear on him. Same for the weapon, it will simply appears in a ray of light. In the armors there may be different defense or enhacement properties to each. To Leah : I shall make a list of those and send it to you if any changes are needed.

**The ability also work to simply change his clothes. Like change into a pajama or more fancy clothes that could also be stored into this magical dimention ;D**

However these equipement are certainly not made by magic with his imagination, no. They must be made/forged like any equipment and so it does cost a LOT of money. Not to mention that he have to repair them if damaged/broken. And so he often have to save up most of the money he gain from doing quest for those equipments.

History/Back Story:
Kurtiss was born in the Holstein Kingdom. There however he did not live the most peaceful or happy life. His parents were well known to have very good valuables as well as a lot of money and so they became the target of a group of thieves. These intruded his home at night when he was really young, about 7 years old maybe. The thieves had no mercy and mudered his dad who was thinking more about his valuables than his family and as his mother was yelling to them to take anything they wanted, holding kurtiss tightly, they took her as well. Kurtiss however was too afraid to do anything much as his mother kept asking them to show mercy on her kid. However they did not, they stabbed him, laughing and taking his mother with them for him to never see her again. They did not however finish him, thinking he would just bleed to death.

Members from the Blazing Sword guild however saved him as they saw the door opened and that it was unusually opened. They did not however find the thieves at the time. Kurtiss was unconscious for days after the incident and took quite some time to recover from his wound. When he did however he decided to join the blazing swords that became his new home. He soon enough found out that he was capable to do magic and so helped with various kind of requests. Till he came at the age of 15 where he found the thieves, as well as his mother's corpse. Filled with rage like no other he murdered them all and then took care of burying the body of his mother and writting her name on a rock that he left there with some flowers. Fearing however that his action may have been seen as illegal/criminal, he left without a trace traveling in search of a new home.

Till he came within the UMS country that had several guilds in bloom. After some encounter with some kind of tug where his ability was obviously showned, he was offered to join the Walsh and refused at first. Giving it more thoughts though and research on this guild, he decided to join in the end by entering their headquarters and stating he wanted to join them. And so since the age of 16, almost 17, it was his new home. Being an hard worker he quickly want up into the ranks. He also was participating into the tournament 4 years ago and was a great help to the Walsh into winning the tournament. Kurtiss also became quite popular with the girls ever since he let his pictures being taken and turned into some of the most pretty guild figure magazine. Yet this is something he somewhat regret on one side, since he actually love other mans.

Occupation (if any): He does odd jobs for the guild.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): He has the ability “Emotion Swap”, which allows him to influence the emotions of anyone he touches. He can choose to make the person feel how he wishes: happy, sad, angry, scared, calm, anxious, etc. However, he then takes on the emotion that was replaced. For example, if Midas causes an angry opponent to become calm, he then becomes angry himself. Additionally, if someone touches him, accidentally or not, he involuntarily swaps whatever emotion he feels at the moment with theirs. The emotion usually lasts less than an hour for both Midas and the other person. He avoids physical contact with people as much as possible because of the invasive nature of his ability, unless he feels he can use it to help someone. As a side note, this ability does not require skin-to-skin contact and works through clothing. In addition to his magic, Midas uses a flail in battle.

History/Back Story: Midas grew up in Holstein Kingdom with his parents, younger sister, and older brother. His father’s family owned a potting business that he intended to pass down to one of his children and his mother came from a long line of prominent guild members, which she intended to continue. Midas wished to somehow use his magic for a good cause, but his parents considered him to have the weakest powers of his siblings and decided he would inherit the potting business. His siblings had much more guild potential, which his brother accepted. His sister, however, dreamed of running the potting business more than anything and was afraid of joining a guild.

Midas didn’t want his sister to be forced into it and left home when he was 14 without warning to join a guild. He hoped that it would force his parents to give the business to his sister and allow him help others with his powers.

Appearance: About 6ft tall. Straight, black hair that falls just below his neck and brown eyes. Fair skinned and has a thin build. Usually wears a maroon military-style overcoat with an open, raised collar, white shirt, baggy, tan pants with plenty of pockets, and leather calf-high boots.

Occupation (if any): Guild Master for Ferrum Coordinator

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Ability to mentally move metals. It's similar to telekinesis but it's restricted to metal objects. His abilities allow him to manipulate any kind of metal, but the lighter and more malleable, the easier to use. Rodimus can move up to 4,000 lbs (the weight of an average car) with little exertion. He can hold a 100 lbs piece of metal for 10 minutes. Any longer, and he would have to exert himself. His limit is 5,000 lbs, but Rodimus can't even lift that much unless he REALLY pushes himself. After lifting that much, he would fall into a coma. He can also apply pressure to the metal in the same way a hand holds an object. Similarly enough, he can cause malleable metals to bend or get crushed.

Rodimus can throw a small piece of metal at about 30-35mph. Larger pieces at 20-25. And huge pieces at 5, although he can only throw one thing at a time. The range of what metals he can use is based on his sight, and he's nearsighted, so he can use a metal up to 30ft away. Line of sight does have to be maintained, but if he's already manipulating some metal, he can continue using it without being able to see it. Rodimus can control up to 15 pieces of metal at a max length of 10ft. His ability causes him to have bad short term memory, so he is known for his forgetfulness. He often forgets the names of those he meets for the first time, but the names stick after a while. He also tends to forget to do important tasks as a guild master, but he has an assistant who takes care of them.

History/Back Story: The day Rodimus discovered his powers, he wanted to do great things with them. The boy's mother was also a telekinetic, but for some reason, Rodimus could only use his powers on metal. Still, he desired to develop his powers to unimaginable levels. Being a natural-born tinkerer, Rodimus quickly picked up building and engineering with his powers. One day in his youth, Rodimus noticed a boy who had trouble walking due to being crippled. The boy looked so lonely and in pain, Rodimus couldn't help but do something. He pulled out any scrap sheets of metal from a local foundry and built a homemade wheelchair for the lad. The boy didn't even know Rodimus' name when he was given the gift. The experience caused Rodimus to think that if he could use his powers to help the life of that boy, then he could use them to better the world. And that's exactly what he set out to do. During his life, Rodimus strove to advance his abilities and his metal craftsmanship. He then formed his own guild so other builders and inventors could work together to develop new technologies for the world.

Symbol/Tattoo Location: Forehead.

Desired Guild Rank: B

Appearance: Shoulder length straight black hair, usually frayed and messy. Usually has an anxious or worried look on his face. Dark grey eyes and a pointed nose. 5'6, slight build. Guild symbol on his forehead, often glancing up at it nervously. Usually wears a black cloak.

Home Country: Northern Sarrice Kingdom.

Occupation (if any): Hangs around the guild. Can be convinced to take assignments when pressured, but usually prefers not to.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Can controll and shape darkness and shadows, creating weapons and creatures out of it. However, he is very afraid of the dark, and often goes into panic attacks after using his powers. Carries a dagger that he is convinced can kill darkness, but has never needed to use it, as what he summons does not attack him.

He is ok with a dagger (knows to stick them with the pointy end) and is a tinkerer with the new technology, which he finds fascinating.

History/Back Story:
From northern Sarrice kingdom. He was born in a cave in a small village of recluses. There was rarely more light than the bioluminescent mushrooms that grew, which are less bright than a candle. Had an extreamly nervous childhood being surrounded by the darkness, and often took to running around in a blind panic for hours. As such, he is suprisingly fast for his size, but not physically very strong. The village eventually threw him out, four years ago, tired of the constant interuptions. He was found by someone claiming to be the Dark Ascention guild master, and was lead to a guild hall nearby. That night, the man dissappeared and has never shown up since. He tried telling people, but no one ever believed him.

Due to his nervous childhood, and being abandoned, he is very insecure, and rarely stands up for himself. He often buckles under the slightest bit of pressure someone puts on him, and can be persuaded to do almost anything but betray his guild, which he sees as a distant family, even though he generally keeps to himself.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): acrobatic skills, survival skills, musical savant--can play any instrument he comes in contact with; can influence and to some degree control animals and beasts with circular flute, can charm and slightly influence sentient people with circular flute; Musical Lore: Can see sound as colored light, can use music to bolster/augment allies, can convert sound into physical force, can act as a siren, calling either people or a specific person to him from great distances.

His ability to see sound waves can start to interfere if he's in a place with lots of noise and sounds, so while he can function, he generally avoids these places. His range for using his magic to charm something is only twenty feet, further than that and its effects begin to weaken. His abilities are still not very developed as he was only just being taught at the time.

History/Back Story: He lived a simple life with his family. His father was a woodcutter and his mother a retired acrobat, now seamstress. Hyperactive, boisterous, and curious, he naturally sought the world around him. Isolated somewhat from civilization, his companions were books and the animals in the forest. Showing an early gift for music--as his parents came in one day and found him writing an entire musical composition all over the floors, walls, even ceiling--his mom passed to him a family heirloom: a circular flute with mystical properties. Having a natural affinity with the animals, he could call any animal to him with the special flute his mother had given to him. It was a truly halcyon life.

That was shattered, however, when poachers noticed his ability and tried to force him to use it to call a rare beast that roamed the forest. When he refused, they laid waste to the forest near his home. His mother revealed the magic she had been teaching him had a combat side to it when she used it to attack their oppressors. Sadly, though they succeeded in defeating the poachers, both his mother and father died in the ensuing forest fire. The happy-go-lucky boy died that day, withdrawing into himself.

Alone and now homeless, he began wandering the world alone, using his music to earn the coin he needed.

Rune Warrior: At any given time, a rune is in one of three states: available, depleted, or regenerating. Available is the default state of the runes. When combat starts, all runes should be available (unless you have recently finished dealing with a pack of mobs). Available runes are consumed by abilities that cost runes. A rune becomes depleted after being consumed by an ability. When a rune becomes depleted, it immediately starts regenerating, unless there is one rune of the same type already regenerating, in which case the rune remains depleted and will only start regenerating right after the other rune has finished regenerating. By default, it takes exactly 10 seconds (feel free to make the time to regen longer if you like) for a rune to regenerate. As soon as a rune finishes regenerating, it becomes, once again, available for abilities to consume it. Rune generation is the same in combat and out of combat. Each rune can only be used if it is applied to the skin

History/Back Story: At the age of 18 Nicol came across a vendor selling some odd trinkets or to during a festival and spotted a strange item that pick his interest, a long slender rod that when looked at just right seemed to glow, and proceeded to buy it for a hefty price. At the time little did he know it was a priceless ancient artifact over 1500 years old. So intrigued by it he went to a local tavern and started to draw it which brought to his for front the rune all along its surface. He started to trace the runes with his fingers and it started to vibrate and glow lightly. Immediately he stopped tracing the runes and it ceased vibrating and glowing. Quickly he put the object into his pocket and went to the library to research the item. But to no avail for there was no mention of such a thing. When he was about to leave he realized that there may be info on the runes along the item. After a couple more hours research he was discerned at not being able to find any info on any of the runes either. In his frustration he unconsciously started tracing out on of the runes from the item onto his arm as he has thought to himself that he should go ask the merchant more about the item when he felt a sting on his left arm. When he looked down he saw that midway between his wrist and elbow of his left arm was a silver white replica of a familiar symbol. Upon looking at the item he realized it was the most prominent rune on it. Perplexed he decided to head home.

7 years later Nicol has become a forefront expert on an ancient civilization who were the users of the runes on the item and the item it’s self as far as he can tell. It was around this time that he met a young woman named Mairenn when she brought an artifact to have him identify. It was almost an exact replica of the long slender rune cover artifact that he had brought so many years ago from some nameless vendor 5 years previous. This intrigued him highly has other than the one he had in his pocket he had naught seen another in all his studies all these years, nor a single reference to any ever being found before. He slowly pulled out his from his pocket without looking away from hers half expecting to find out she had pick-pocketed his. When he reached into his pocket to find his still there he pulled it out to show her ask, “Just how much do you know about that item. Where did you get it?”

Before she could answer both of the items started to react to each other vibrating and softly glowing at first but as they got closer together the reaction started to get stronger. Realizing this he quickly put his back into his pocket and instructed the woman to follow him into his study to talk about the items in private. Thus began the beginnings of their relationship which started out as colleges for she was a novice archeologist who was hoping that by bringing an item sprawled with the runes, that were just as fascinating to her as they were to Nicol, that she could get an apprenticeship with him. Little did she know that her fate was sealed the moment he saw the item for even he did not notice his was sealed at the same time.

As he shut the door to study she pulled up her shirt sleeve to reveal the very same rune he had first drawn 7 years ago accidentally saying, “What does this mean…and what just happened out there with our…” she holds up the item she brought to show him with a questionable look on her face.

Slowing he replied saying, “With our Stele….I do not know until just now I have never seen one besides my own. As for what that means, he points towards the rune on her arm; it’s the rune for magic which you can now use.” After stating this he showed her his runes explaining that they are the source of a particular magic which he has found only the briefest generalization about in a small handful of ancient text which does not even give it a name. “I call it rune magic and if used unwisely it can and will kill you.” He looked at her asking her if she had drawn any other runes other than that one on her anywhere with a worried look on his face. She promptly shook her head no asking, “Why was I supposed to?”

“NO! If you had it would have been perilous for unless you know exactly what the rune means you subjugate yourself to harm. This magic uses the power of ones soul if you draw something that exceeds the strength of your soul your life will take from you….it has almost happened to me. Only a few of the runes appear to be permanent the rune for magic being one of them, the rest just disappear after a while.”
After explaining all this they got to talking about less serious things and he wound up agreeing to take her as an apprentice. This didn’t last too long as she soon caught up with Nicol in skills and knowledge of archeology and the Ancients. Though she was still behind and slowly learning about the rune magic that even Nicol knew little about soon their relationship became more serious resulting in them getting married exactly 10 years to the day they first met…..

Summons: Helios -- Hee/lee/ose -- Helios is a thin, wiry man with gold eyes and hair of flames. He is lean and 5'9 tall. Additionally, he just loves to set things on fire. He's very chaotic, fun, enjoys fireside jokes, flirting with men (as he is a homosexual), and energetic. He's generally kind and polite to all, unless they threaten or insult his summoner. In this case, he's quick to anger and defend.

He generally appears in a full-bodied, highly guilded suit of battle armour. There's a bright aura around him that emanates heat, and though his movement can be slow, his fire is not. He has powerful light and fire magic, generally leaning towards area attacks and protective fire shields around the summoner.

He often boasts around other fire users, quick to call them out for a "fun-filled" challenge of a TRUE test.

Nettle -- Net/el -- Nettle is a three feet tall woman-spider. From the waste down, she has the body of a spider, eight legs and all, but from the waist up, she is a woman with six arms. She has very pale skin, long, black hair, and black eyes, as well as extremely long and sharp nails. Her lips are black and her teeth are sharp--all of them. Despite her small size, she is quite the challenge. She's fast--very fast, with the ability to climb walls and shoot webs, entangling foes and pinning them to whatever fancies her at the time. Her bite her venomous, but her claws are not.

Outside of battle, however, she's actually quite sweet. She has a small, kind voice and loves to socialize with others. Unfortunately, because of her appearance, this generally ends in a disaster and with her embarrassed tears.

Her contract terms are the following:
1) "Please summon me less during the day. I'm weaker in the day. Still capable, mind you, but not near as helpful as I could be. Thank you."

Zord -- Zord -- Zord looks like Jin from Xenosaga. 'Nuff said. He also holds a katana and wears Jin's episode two kimono. He speaks in a wise tone, as well as with respect and etiquette. He never fails to be gentlemanly to a lady and he never flirts. He wouldn't know how to flirt.

Zord is the summons of "knowledge." He is a librarian, he says, and he will keep any knowledge and give any knowledge that he may already have to and for his summoner at any time.

His contract terms are the following:
1) "Please, my lady, do not ask me to fight. I am not a fighting man. Yes, I have a katana, but it's a priceless heirloom."
2) "I'll obtain any information for you that I can, lady, but if I cannot find it, I hope you can be kind and forgiving for my shortcomings."
3) "If I must fight for when you no other, I'll gladly throw books at your enemies. However, I hope you'll replace my books."

History/Back Story: Celesta is an inventor who decided to strike out on her own. Comes from a small place in the backwoods. When she realized she could make packs with spirits she decided that she would join the guild and strive to do better not just for herself, but for the good of others. She has no other family. Celesta is easily excited and can create a mess quite easily. She is soft spoken though, and usually can’t get herself out of her own messes.

Appearance: He stands tall at the height of 6"2' and weighs a slim 190. He has a trim, muscular physique revealing his physical activities and training. He wears a blue trench coat, wearing a black tunic underneath and simple close fitting pants that allow maximum movement. He wears white gloves over both hands with the symbol of his guild stitched into the back of the left glove. His hair is a pure white of medium length, with bangs that shift to the sides of his face. His eyes are a piercing orange, though he often wears glasses over them. These glasses appear to be normal glasses with clear lens, but the lens are slightly imbued to distort the color of his eyes to a deep purple. There are daggers hidden on his person.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Erik's innate magical abilities were passive since birth and he had no way to control or release them as a child. His ability, is one of silence and is not passive. It is an ability that is always active and as such, he cannot speak or hear, nor does he make any sound himself. He cannot turn this ability off, but he has some control over the area that the silence envelopes. Since the ability is always active, it is a constant drain on his energy levels. To counter this he eats much more than a normal human and often sleeps in. A typical day of rest for him is four to five hours of sleep, should he go to bed at night, but if he sleeps during the day his sleep can range from sixteen to eighteen hours.

History/Back Story: Erik was born in Holstein Kingdom. His life began rather simply, his family small, quaint and unimportant, though always on the move. He lived happily with them for many years, enjoying the changes in landscapes and the many places that his family visited. He was a bright and happy child and as soon as his younger sister was born he became very protective of her. His father constantly told him of distant lands he had yet to see and of the many adventures he had been on. No one was unhappy that they moved about continuously and they were always excited to see what adventure the next day brought.

Then one day, when he was eight, his family was attacked while travelling and he watched as his father fought valiantly to fend the men attacking off. As a mage, he stood a good chance against the men, buying time for his mother and younger sister to escape with him. Later that very night, as they waited at camp for their father to return to them, the group of men attacked again. They quickly captured his mother and sister and began violating them, just as Erik was returning to camp with firewood. He took one of the limbs up as a weapon and dashed into the fray, trying to rescue his younger sister, but was knocked aside by a deep bludgeoning blow and into a tree. This cracked several of his ribs and he was unable to move, forced to listen to his mother and sister's screams until there was nothing but silence and he was left for dead.

The next morning, he was found curled up inside of a tree, tears streaming down his face, his mouth moving but no voice coming out. As his saviors tried to talk to him, they found he was deaf as well, unable to respond to the questions. They took him to town in a wagon where he stayed for several months healing. At the age of ten, he had come to realize and control his silence and gained basic mastery over it. Seeking to join a guild, he spent many years in an apprenticeship in order to become a tailor. It was not until Dark Ascension was created that he finally found a guild that suited his purposes. He immediately stopped working freelance and joined as it was formed.

He has sworn vengeance on those who took his family away from him, but has yet to find them. Yet this vengeance is not his sole purpose, he has found a place of peace within his guild, doing jobs as needed and even seeking out jobs without being asked.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Freezing Dragon Slayer Magic. He is able to generate intense cold and manipulate frozen things at will, as well as resist natural and magical cold. However, he must eat ice to replenish his strength, is weak to heat, and suffers from some motion sickness.

History/Back Story: He was raised by Glacyra the Freezing Dragon until he was nine, when the dragon mysteriously vanished. He wandered aimlessly for quite some time, hoping to find his foster mother, though he never did. Eventually he gave up on finding her and decided to see what the guilds were about. Being a talented mage, he was sought after by many guilds, but he turned them all down. Instead, he himself searched out a guild to join of his own free will; after doing some research he decided to join Walsh. He's known around the guild for being cold, but is a dependable teammate.

Appearance: Long golden blonde hairs that are always tied up in two ponytails, one on each sides. Her eyes are of hazel brown color and is about 5'4''. Although since she often end up in ruins or otherthings like that, she always have with her somekind of loose and unatractive brown one piece suit in her bag as well.

Occupation (if any): Find more about old ruins and artifacts, mostly for her research, but also because she's a freak of these things. Not often seen at the guild actually, exept to pict info on new site to explore actually.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Knowledge. A power to randomly get infos on others such as their name, their biggest fears, obsessions, weakness, secrets, ect. However she does not controle the info she'll get and need to touch the person. She always however get the name of the person and often randomly start speaking to people like she've met them before and them backing away from the girl.

**Since this ability is a passive one, she will also have a weapon, a fighting staff. (very much like the one of aang from avatar or whatever others you can think of.)

History/Back Story:She originaly comes from the UMS from a family of merchant. Although she truly didn't want to become a merchant herself and started to study with books about old civilisations, artifacts and other things like this. When she learned there was a lot of ruins site to explore in the country of Sarrice Kingdom though, she went there. Her parents did encourage her to and she moved to her uncle's place in Sarrice kingdom. This one showed her to use a fighting staff as well and Ryla was learning it quickly. Although she never really mixed this well with people sadly as they all thought she was a bit... weird.

As she often went into the ruins and always seemed to find her way in better then anybody as well as making extremely good finding, she was approached by the Sheherazade guild and they offered her to join. She accepted, buut... it was mostly to get more info for her research. Thing is she doesn't always give them what she found right away, she always need to make research on the stuff. Kyla have now a lab within her uncle's house. This one having almost an heartattack everytime she blow something up or suddenly make too much noise.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Sylvi is an electric user. She can form and shoot electric bolts out to a certain distance. She also uses it defensively to create a barrier out of lightning when needed. Not only is Sylvi skilled in electricity manipulation, she also uses long chains as whips. She will charge up these chains and send electricity through them. While Sylvi is a skilled fighter, her magic ability does affect her personality. After using her magical abilities, Sylvi also begins to talk very fast that some are unable to understand what she's saying. Along with that, when Sylvi begins to get upset, she has the tendency to create sparks that hit things close to her.

History/Back Story:Sylvi was born into a lower class family in a small village. However, she was orphaned at the young age of 3 when her family’s village was attacked by bandits. While her father was fighting, her mother took Sylvi and hid her away. However, one of the bandits caught Sylvi’s mother and attacked her from behind. Her mother fought back and in the ensuing fight, Sylvi froze as she watched her mother die by the man. This man’s face became etched into Sylvi’s mind and became her nightmare. Passing out from the terror that occurred, Sylvi could not remember what happened to the man that murdered her mother before her eyes. When she awoke, she struggled to free herself from her position. Sylvi had survived the pillage but was now alone. She stumbled as she fled from the massacre, passing out in the forest. Sylvi was then found by Tobias. At first Tobias was not sure what to do with Sylvi but in the end adopted and trained her in the way of fighting. She ended up helping him on his jobs as they traveled. This went on until Sylvi turned the age of 15 when Tobias began to suffer from a terminal disease. Sylvi stayed with Tobias, caring for him until his eventual death. After his death, she traveled until she reached the guild that Tobias had once been a part of. She has spent the remaining years training and seeking out missions.

Skills/Abilities: Laron's powers are flames, generated by his body temperature and his rage which allows him to withstand heat beyond a normal human (130 degrees F), the angrier he becomes the powerful his attacks but that also increases the threat of burning himself into a smolder by his own power (180 degrees F). He does however loose his anger with ever successful physical attack and every time he uses his powers. he throws to his opponent have another ability to where if he is under stress that he can go in to a more demonic form his power to form, his form helps him withstand greater temperatures(210 degrees F), he also does more damage with his flames. When in this form the only way to change back is to have a friend talk to him or kill the person he's after . His skill is knowing how to brawl and how to take a hit. A major draw back to this powers is that it isn't powerful when his attack are just based off his body temperature, also if attacked with water or ice while his using his power when angry he looses his powers faster. Another draw back is his powers are only 3/4 his temperature during his phase and half as strong as his temperature, even during his rage.

Back story: Laron use to be a full fledged demon in the form of a darkish red glowing aura along side the others, clinging on to a mile high tower in a burning underworld for hundreds of years, burning for what felt like a millennium of years until one day he decided to climb the mile high tower to the top, As he climbed out to the top he started turning human; from there he lost his memory to wake up on the ground, all he knew was that he was enraged beyond relief but didn't know why, only that he needed a way to work out his problems, that's when he found a guild.

Appearance: 5'8, mug look, average build. Wears a pair of shorts that were bound to his body when he arrived to the earth's surface, a frowning demon's face can be seen on his back when he's angry. His demon form(if accepted) turns him in to a darkish red.

Personality: usually Slow to anger but also slow to forgive most of the time. When aggravated he's the most difficult person to talk to unless it someone knows well.

History/Back Story: Born into a military family she grew up more a warrior than a lady. She studied fighting and quickly surprised her family and sensei by surpassing all expectations in her combat training becoming a master of both dual and single sword combat at the age of 15. Despite this she was always a very calm person preferring to talk things out rather than fight things out. As a hobby growing up she studied about different artifacts as well especially the weapon and weapon related artifacts to which she found fascinating. When she was 17 she got the opportunity to watch and even study various artifacts when just outsides her town an archeological dig site was started. She started out just going and watching as did several from the town, but whereas most stopped coming after a week of watching people slowly digging a large hole she kept coming back after her morning training and watched until it was time for the midday meal when she would leave just to come back the next day everyday like clockwork. This routine was quickly noticed by those working the dig especially when she showed up just on the eve of a strong storm to see how they went about protecting their dig. One of the workers spotting her called out and told her to go home or help cover the dig site. Smiling she runs down and asks what she can do to help.

This is what took her from just watching the work to learning how to do the work. While she learned quickly and was good at actually digging and retrieving artifacts from the ground it was quickly realized her natural talent was in studying the artifacts after they had been recovered. When it was time for the dig to end she decided to go with the archeologist and study the trade. During her training she kept her daily routine of sword practice and still was able to keep up with her other studies and digs. It was also during this time she first heard the name Nicol Alister Byrne a young expert on ancient artifacts, and cultures particularly of the oldest known society of people. She made plans to meet and try to learn from him what she could.

Just before her 20th birthday she found in a dig a long slender stick like artifact when she was taking a turn digging perplexed she dug it out and was surprised when it softly started to glow and vibrate in her hands briefly. Once it had stop reacting she took it to the site coordinator to ask if he knew what it was only to find out that he had no clue. She asked if she could keep it to study and when she was replied with a yes she carefully wrapped it and put it into a belt pouch. This is where it stayed for a few days until right on schedule Nicol showed up to the dig and she took it to him to see if he might know what it was, thus was the beginning of the path that lead to the two of them down the path to marriage…

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Has the ability “Neural Manipulation,” which allows her to momentarily gain control of the nervous system of her target. Theoretically, this would allow her to do anything from induce certain feelings in her target, cause or block pain, or even stop their breathing. However, there are severe limitations to this power; she must be physically touching her target, and in order to interact with their nervous system and their brain, she must create a mental ‘link’ with her target. The longer she maintains this link, the more their systems meld, and within thirty seconds of using her power she herself will start experiencing the effects she is imposing on her target. On top of that, she is terrified of her own power, and rarely uses it, meaning she has little experience with it.

History/Back Story: Nadia was born into a large, low class family that lived on the outskirts of society, and her life only got even worse when she was orphaned when she was thirteen, losing both of her parents and several siblings to disease nearly at once. She wandered the streets, lost and without work, for several years until she happened upon the Quinsenterra guild hall and met Jentra and her uncle. Her uncle offered to take her in, for the price of working alongside Jentra, and eventually became a high-class and well sought after courtesan, as well as close friends with Jentra.

While Jentra eventually left Quinsenterra, Nadia remained, and continues to work there simply because she knows of no other place to go. While she learned of her power in Quinsenterra, she rarely if ever uses it, and only uses it to create feelings of pleasure in her employers.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any):Athena has the pyrokinesis ability. Which mean that, if she removes her glove, she can accelerate the atom that are creating an object by orienting her right palm, causing the object to ignite. Igniting is not the only thing that can happen, since the power is not about fire but about atom acceleration, but it is the most common thing that will happen. For example, She can melt metal and make liquid evaporate. The main problem with this ability is that she can’t stop the acceleration from happening (think about Cyclops from X-men that can’t stop firing lasers). To prevent this from igniting everything around, she wears a special glove on her right hand that contain her ability, but since the glove can only reflect the ability, Athena’s body temperature is always super high and she’s always in pain due to that. Since her body temperature is hotter then average, she has to eat more then any normal person and she nearly always drinking water to stay hydrated. She can, like she did in the backstory, suppress and drain fire, making her immune to it, at the prize of a large amount of energy. She also has to keep channeling to drain it, therefore, she can't move meanwhile. An other effect of the power is that Athena is now nearly immunized against other user of the atoms acceleration. That's exactly why she's still alive since the glove only reflect the spell. Athena's body, due to the abnormal temperature it's maintained, is also very resistant to any form of sickness.

History/Back Story: During her youth, Athena was always searching for new place to explore and to discover. She was the definition of an adventurer, in such a way that her parents were always scared to lose her, since she began her long trip at the age of 8. She wouldn’t come back home for 2 or 3 days straight. She was doing all these trip with her best friend Mahika. They didn’t go to school; they were only traveling around the kingdom. But one day, Athena’s life changed forever…

They were both aged of 12. One of their dreams was to meet a beautiful member of Blazing Sword, the guild that was established in Holstein. They seemed so strong and so strong and so nice… and so handsome! When they arrived to the town’s gates, they met a group that was waiting. Her and Mahika were coming back home after a week of wandering around the town. Athena had a pretty good hearing and she immediately noticed they were talking about a reunion with some of the strongest members of Blazing Sword. Taking her courage, she walked to them and asked if her and Mahika could join them and be at that reunion. Who seemed to be the leader of the little group accepted after thinking about it. The meeting was in two weeks. During those two weeks, the two girls were so excited. It’s the only thing that were in their mind; finally meeting their idol.

When the day finally came, they were as ready as ever to meet them. They even prepared questions to ask at the end. Naive and cheerful, they were, but that quickly faded when they reached the location of the reunion. There was no nice crowd waiting. No handsome guild member smiling. There was only a very large fire and 5 people around it. They were doing some kind of incantation. When the men saw the two little girls, they rushed to them and tied them up to a nearby tree. Suddenly, one laughed and said
''It is now time, my friends. Bring the girls''
One of the men untied the two friends and made them approach the fire. Athena looked at the man that seemed to be in charge of this evil ceremony and saw something she will always remember, A Blazing Sword tattoo on his neck. They sacrificed Mahika in the name of some fire god. She couldn’t even assimilate the information that her friend was burning. She was in her mind. All her dreams were crushed, destroyed, shattered. After a couple of minute of crying on the inside, she realized that Mahika was dead. She screamed when they threw her in the flames. She was waiting on the fire to burn her… but nothing was happening. It seemed like she was draining the fire that was slowly losing in intensity. The men, seeing that the girl wasn’t dying, ran away as fast as they could. There was only a little girl with some burned bones, the fire all got consumed. A little girl that was crying the death of her best friend. But something had changed in Athena. She felt like if fire replaced blood in her veins. She pointed her hand at a tree, which immediately ignited. She was amazed and yet scared by her power. She pointed at another tree. It burned almost instantly. After a couple of burned trees, she wondered how to stop it. She couldn’t find a way. She remembered she had a pair of gloves in her bag that stayed next to the fire. She puts it on and the power stop. But she was sure that the glove would burn soon. She got back to her house and found some heat resistant gloves; these would hold longer, even if they will still end up all burned. She had some money that she was saving. With that money, she bought a glove that was very resistant to fire. After that all that mattered was to flee from that kingdom where the Blazing Sword was too present now that she hated them. They had passed from superstars to the worse thing that was ever created.

Seven years after the incident, she was in Dark Ascension, a guild that she had join in her passage near the Sarrice’s borders. The guild was everything for her and her only goal was to avenge her friend death. This revenge would only be complete when the Blazing Sword’s guild would be totally destroyed. She also learned to control her power and, with a special glove crafted for her, she was able to have a ‘’normal guild life’’ without burning everything on her passage.

Skills/Abilities: Shadow Manipulation (Illusion): Using existing shadows/darkness I am able to shape them into illusions. These shadow illusions can induce mental responses into the target, so long as they don't disbelieve them, such as (Pain, fear, numbness, etc). The shadows are not physical except in the sense of being shadows/darkness. Meaning they do hamper vision like real shadows/darkness and also that they must remain true to their nature: Shadows remain anchored to there source of origin (Tree, rock, etc). Darkness such as at night, underground, etc can not pass through bright light from a light source, but can go around or through poor illumination. Not only is his magic weak during the day due to the scarcity of trees but he also becomes slightly weaker, slower, even his awareness is effected(Think of a cave dweller who stepped in to the light for the first time in years.).

He is a highly skilled slight of hand, he knows how to make one moderately, weak poison that causes paralysis and small damage, it is easily curable but the effects wear off after a while, but he does know how to cure it(Learned it from his parents), his weapon, and illusions, he's also naturally gifted with being agile thanks to his size. He also has a weapon (his magic cant do physical damage) lager than a knife but small when compared to a sword that his parent crafted for him.

Back story: Shiru was born a killer after his parents, he never knew what it was like to have a friend as he was usually to busy killing people he was sent after, he did this for them until his parents died by the hands of the authority, he managed to slip away from using the tricks he learned like how to disappear from plain sight. He was the most skilled illusionist due to his ability to use dark energy and skill. He was trained by his parents to only kill the target unless his life depended on it or if there was no other way around it., he also knows his allies from his enemies.

When you really look at it, he was just doing what his parents wanted him to do, kill targets. His parents were weary of their son not being able to handle killing, that's why they picked the ones that were somewhat difficult to him but he would still get the job done, even then they watched him, jumping in when he was in trouble, but scolding and knocking him along the head, they let him know that they were doing it to keep him sharp, it took months on top of each other but he finally got the hang of it, he did however suffer physically, he looks like hes been through a lot(almost soulless looking) and he is laid back because if he wasn't then there would be a chance that he could break down, that's also why he hardly would talk to other people, he joined a guild in order for him to be sent on more missions like he was when he was with his parents, he also needed a place to live as he couldn't make it out on the streets.

Appearance: 4'11, lightly built, light red hair, big black irises, he usually wears strong leather armor that can take maybe 4 to five direct hits and covers the the face is only covered along the forehead, for his torso he has chest guards and a guard that covers his abs and back. For the legs he wears guards around his thighs and on his knees with hard leather on his toes with grips on them. (He doesn't get it it until a certain age is reached, for now its just cloth).

Personality:
Ashu is withdrawn and dispassionate so as to avoid mental trauma, he maintains this by attempting to keep his distance(Escapism). He is soulless looking by the way he stands and his facial expression, he is willing to talk if a said person tries long enough.

Appearance: Tall, broad-shouldered with one green eye and one yellow one. He has a long scar that runs from the outer corner of his right eye down across the bridge of his nose and down to his left jaw line. His black hair is extremely long--generally kept in a simple ponytail. He's always seen with a serious face--rarely smiles.

Occupation (if any): Street Fighter for Valoria and competes in general tournaments professionally of various genres.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Jacobi has the magical ability known as "Eye of the Beast King," which grants him the ability to induce primal fear, despair, and dread into a target. The target(s) will experience things such as hallucinations, coldness, shivers down the spine, goosebumps, the overall feeling of "wrongness" on all levels, possible paralysis, and other such symptoms than can be brought on by fear.

This ability works best through eye contact, but it is not required. The stronger affects, such as wanting someone to flee, would require this eye contact with the target. However, merely looking at someone can induce the lesser powers. (Chills, goosebumps, etc.) The most targets Jacobi can affect at one time is generally thirty-forty people.

Additionally, he has been banned SPECIFICALLY by both councils to have or own any physical weapons of any kind. Period. Ever. However, he is very well trained in street fighting. Note: Jacobi generally keeps his yellow eye closed so as to not use his power constantly and without control. (This ability CANNOT be turned off.) Due to this, it causes vision issues, such as depth perception and the causing of fighting "tilted." This causes a blind spot until his eye is opened again.

History/Back Story: Jacobi is a former of the UMS Council Security Force. He has guarded the former members of "The Unfortunate Thirteen." He has participated in several large-scaled battles (including a war) under their authority. As his power has grown, he has become more prominent within the common knowledge of not only his guild, but the councils and the general population of non-magic users. His reasoning for retirement from the SF was to join the creation of the Guild Games. He enjoys the ambitions of his guild ans is often one of the main model fighters, both within Guild Games and without. (It is not uncommon that he 'challenges' the younger/newer members of Valoria--presumably to 'increase guild strength.')

The cause of the scar upon his face is unknown, the story changes often and generally depends on the amount of liquor he has consumed. His guild buddies do generally like him, finding him to be fun, outgoing--but serious and somewhat cold the moment a battle or challenge has begun. It is almost as if he is two different people.

Skills/Magic Ability (if any): Mikko has the ability Eagle Eye, which allows him to see things that are very far away and even through walls/doors (though he can't see through them perfectly; it's like looking through fog). His pupils dilate and his irises glow when the ability is in use. The ability strains his eyes immensely and as a consequence, he finds himself completely blind for up to 24 hours following the use of his ability. While the blind have been known to experience a heightening of their other senses to adapt to their lack of vision, Mikko does not experience this during his temporary blindness.

History/Back Story: Mikko was adopted by a noble heiress in Holstein when he was an infant, though she always had him believe that she was his biological mother. She'd lost her last child to an illness, so she was quite overprotective of Mikko and obsessed with germs and hygiene, which Mikko picked up from her. When he was 17, his mother was killed by criminals who broke into their home. Mikko was nearly killed as well, but he managed to escape with his life and little else. He fled until he reached Gir'ratown, where he passed out from blood loss. He was nursed back to health by a kindly older couple and ended up staying in town. Five years later, the Quintenserra Guild was founded and he was quick to join it, as it reminded him of the home he'd lost.
