Hexagon: Survival Game Empty Hexagon: Survival Game

The year is 2092. . .
The world finds itself faced with a great threat. Rising unemployment. The economy is in a meltdown, The entire planet is in crisis.

The year is 2100. . .
On the turn of the century, Hexagon, a company meant to better the country, is established. The government empowers Hexagon to route all power to the main Hexagon building. For years afterwards, Hexagon provides power for the entire country. The process becomes so defined that many other nations begin to form contracts with Hexagon, allowing it to power their entire country.

The year is 2113. . .
Hexagon...crashes. All power in the world is cut. In a world with no more natural abundancy, the human race can only survive for so long.

The year is 2114. . .
A year after Hexagon's innitial crash, semi-apocalyptic Earth finds the power has returned under the power of Hexagon. They are informed that Hexagon...is alive.

The year is 2137. . .
Hexagon watches...Hexagon...Is Everywhere.

HEXAGON: Survival Game

In a world run by a computer, how long will you survive? Hexagon is a computer program with a messed up sense of humor. It sends Hexagon agents out and captures people then traps them within the Hexagon building where there are but three options. 1 - Comply as a Hexagon Agent. 2 - Compete for your freedom in the "Hexagon Arena". 3 - Be Exterminated. You would be surprised at how many choose option three.

The Breakdown
Don't expect the robots to pamper you here. The machine in this one is homicidal and out to waste EVERYONE. But Hexagon is very creative about doing it. If you choose to participate in the Hexagon Survival Games, you're not fighting the machine. You're fighting other people. What's the "survival" if you're against something that knows and sees all? Hexagon's game pits humans against other humans in what is called Hexagon Tower. That's right, you're battling inside of the main Hexagon building in order to survive. Why? What can you do? You're an ant compared to this thing. Did we mention you'll have a partner to worry about?

Handicaps
Handicaps are individuals who, like everyone else in this tower, are prisoners of Hexagon. They are given special bracelets. These bracelets are the secrets to winning the game. They contain special superhuman abilities. To claim your Handicap, you must first form a Pact. This will last the duration of the game until you win or die. Handicaps are the only ones capable of using the powers their bracelets possess. That's where Seals come in. A Seal activatess the power of the Bracelet by transferring energy from the Player's Decascanner to the Handicap's. How a Seal can be performed varies and is set within the bracelets at Random. Seals last for only half an hour at a time and once deactivated, they cannot be reactivated for another half hour. Handicaps do not get weapons of their own so they must either rely on their Powers, Player, or their natural fighting ability and intelligence. Rather than being identified by their actual names, Handicaps are identified by four numbers split by a hyphen. Ex: 00-00. Though Most do take up nicknames.

Weapons
Hexagon supplies Players that aren't Handicaps with weapons. All weapons are laser based. If the Player or Handicap's Decascanner is hit and deemed dysfunctional, the player hit is atomized by Hexagon immediately.

Decascanner
The name given to the bracelets that Handicaps wear and the watches that Players wear. Though the Decascanner of a Handicap serves no purpose outside of Seals and Pacts, a Player's Decascanner is their most valuable asset. They are used as stop-watches for rounds, scanners, flash-lights, miniature computers, and much more. They also project a Player's weapon.

Survival Rounds
The Bulk of the Survival Game involves not being killed by Hexagon Troops who are basically left in the dark while solving challenges and combating other players to advance to the next floor after finding the elevator. However, during a Survival Round the game becomes mounds more risky as Players are literally forced to try and kill any other players they see on sight. Hexagon can tell based on your Decascanner if you see another player or not and if you opt not to try and kill them, you will be atomized. If you attempt to kill them but run, you will not be atomized but your presence is already known and you're compromised...not really an easy choice.

Functions of the Decascanner
-Area Scanner
-Subject Scanner
-Flashlight
-Computer
-Watch
-Power Suppliers
-Weapon Suppliers (Think of this like a Watch form of a Green Lantern Ring but only allows weapons not any old type of construct)
-Translator
-Tracker
-Communicator
-Camera

Hexagon Rules
Even if it is a psychotic, glorified calculator, Hexagon does have SOME rules.

-Players Must Locate And Form A Pact With Their Predetermined Handicap Within Five Minutes Of Release Into The Handicap Containment Room. Failure To Do So Will Result In Immediate Disintegration.
-Once In Hexagon Tower, Refusal To Compete In The Area Will Result In Immediate Disintegration.
-Failure To Complete Tasks Given By Hexagon Will Result In Immediate Disintegration.
-No More Than Two Players May Collaborate At A Time. Teams Exceeding Two Players Will Result In Immediate Disintegration.
-If A Player's Handicap Dies, The Player Is Subject To Immediate Disintegration.
-If A Player Or Handicap's Decascanner Ceases Function, They Are Subject To Immediate Disintegration.
-Attempts Made To Attack Hexagon Will Result In Immediate Disintegration.
-Handicaps Whose Players Are Lost Are Sent Back To The Handicap Containment Room.
-Players Or Handicaps Deemed To Weak To Continue But Not Near Enough To Death Will Be Subject To Immediate Disintegration.
-If A Player Or Handicap Remains Idle For Over 9 Collective Hours, They Are Subject To Immediate Disintegration.

Beginning Your Survival
Players Will Begin Their Venture In The Area With The Opening Room Where They Will Be Outfitted With A Decascanner And Briefed On Their First Assignment: Locating Their Handicap. Handicaps Will Begin In The Handicap Containment Room And Await Their Players' Arrival.

Applications
You may play one of two ways. You may either control both a Player and Handicap or you may be one or the other and work with another RP Friend. As such, there are two Applications; one for Players and one for Handicaps. If you choose to use both then you fill both out. If you choose to be one of the other, fill out either.

Name: Azrael

Appearance (It Can Be A Picture): Wears a red hooded cloak, black leather vest and pants, knee-high leather boots, leather gauntlets with gold metal plating, and a belt with several pouches.

Personality: Cynical and flippant, cold and ruthless when fighting.

Talents: Expert in multiple forms of martial arts and weapons, had military training. Also a highly developed sense of self that borders on precognition.

Back Story: Lester Velenti lived with his parents, who were part of the resistance. However, they were caught by agents and opted for option #3 and were instantly put to death. Cold hate burned inside of him and he opted to become part of the resistance. However, he found the training lacking and sought out other resistance factions that had more elite training available. He cast his old name aside and took the name Azrael, and slowly began living up to the name, making it his pastime to hunt Hexagon agents. However, when Hexagon finally took an interest in him, it is said it took 20 of their agents together to take him down, and more than half lost their lives.

How You Got Put Into The Arena: Captured.

Handicap: Gospel
