St. PigeoNation's Registration

Back when birds were still beasts and pets, a virus known as A(H5N1) appeared. This virus proved to be highly infectuous and passed quickly from birds to humans. They also soon found out it was very deadly, and the number of deaths grew more and more quickly with each passing day. Desperate, the humans engineered a powerful virus to cull birds and prevent A(H5N1) from becoming a pandemic. Except the new virus didn't work. Infected birds didn't die. Rather, their brains grew in size and power, starting with doves. Since their gambit failed, humans were left defenseless to A(H5N1) and most died out.

It is now the year 2188. Doves make up the majority of professionally qualified workers, and humans are a rarity. The few that are left now live peacefully with the birds, though in the past there were large conflicts. The birds now live the lives that humans once lived, and are very much like the humans in many respects. They run stores, have festivals, go to school...


Welcome to St. Pigeonation’s! A school blessed with extensive curricula and facilities. This school is Japan’s—no, the world’s—greatest gathering place for gifted birds. Birds who want to study the arts, the sciences, even sports all come to St. Pigeonation’s. The teaching staff and student body are both made up of a diverse blend of birds of different species and backgrounds.

As a prestigious learning institute, St. Pigeonation’s offers excellent electives including math, physical education and music.

St. Pigeonation’s also offers many extracurricular activities. There are clubs for baseball, soccer, track, kendo, migration and birdwatching. Students can also join the library or infirmary staff, as well as the student council.

The school is located in a rather large city. There’s a park, an arcade, various eateries and a shrine for the religiously inclined. Not too far outside of the city is the wilderness, where human hunter-gatherers live.

This role-play is based in the world of the visual novel "Hatoful Boyfriend", and its canon characters will be controlled by Kiseki, sagiri, and Anghel. Everyone else who joins will be making their own original characters (birds) to join in the shenanigans. This is not meant to be a serious RP by any means; the characters are all birds after all. So just have fun!

Rules:
- Posts must be written in paragraph format.
- Each role player may have two characters at most.
- Please no god-modding and obtain permission before controlling someone else's character.
- If you are inactive for a long period of time, the RP will move on without you.
- Your character is a bird, but that does not stop him or her from participating in human activities such as writing, playing musical instruments, playing sports, etc. You can treat your character as essentially human and it may be easier to imagine him or her as such.
-It is preferred that, as with the canon characters, you give your character a human appearance as well as a bird appearance.
- All rule breakers will be chopped up and served in the cafeteria!

Personality: Shuu is an unsettling individual. The students dislike him and find him creepy. With others, he tends to be blunt, less than friendly and threatening. He prioritizes his research above all else.
Other Info: Shuu has been linked with students going missing in the school. The rumour is that he cuts them up and their remains are served in the cafeteria. The quill pens the school sells are supposedly made from the feathers of the deceased.

Personality: He is kind, friendly, and generally cheerful. He tends to be the only sane bird in amongst the insanity around him.
Other Info: Ryouta's father died when he was young and his mother is ailing, so he maintains several part-time jobs to keep things afloat. He has a weak stomach and tends to spend quite a bit of time in the infirmary. He has been friends with the only human who attends St. PigeoNation's, Hiyoko Tousaka, since he was just a chick.

Personality: He is boisterous, excitable, and hot blooded. He's also very much crazy, as he seems to be living in his own fantasy world, however he's more aware than he seems.
Other Info: Anghel is originally from the Philippines and came to St. PigeoNation's by invitation. He secretes hallucinogenic pheromones (the more excited he is the more he produces), which effect him and the people around him. If someone spends too much time around him they can be drawn into his hallucinations and become part of his fantasy world.

Personality: Sakuya is very elitist and believes himself to be above the other students and teachers. He is demanding and prone to tantrums, but is also at the top of his class and he takes anything he considers to be his duty very seriously.

Other Info: Sakuya is the heir of the noble Le Bel family from France and has just transferred to St. PigeoNation’s, which his half brother Yuuya is also attending (much to Sakuya's chagrin).

Other Info: Hiyoko is the only human at St. PigeoNation's, and doesn't mind it at all. She lives in a cave out in the wilderness outside the city, and survives as a hunter-gatherer. She has been friends with Ryouta since he was just a chick and she helped him back into his nest.
