Three Kingdoms Role-Play

This role-play is going to be centered on two things: A fun plot and RP Improvement. In this role-play, each person will start out with a character that I create for them. This will help improve character development and character adaption skills. Over a little time, a sort of "transformation" will occur where each person will be able to use their own character that they create. Please note that this is a fantasy and survival style mixed RP.
The RP will consist of a medieval time period that consists of three kingdoms, three different cultures, and many fantasy/survival plot points. You will have plenty of time to adjust with your start character to the world around you before you use a character of your own creation.
This role-play will have several rules, including all of the rules that are mentioned in the RP Guidelines. If you haven't read them, read them before signing up. I want at least semi-literate posts, five to six sentences in the average post, and in paragraph style.
Additional Rules:
1) Do not ask me or my co-manager what's going to happen next.
2) When planning out your OC, make sure all weapons/accessories are approved by me.
3) When you have questions about the RP, feel free to text/call/PM/IM me with any questions you have, or post them via this thread.
4) If two people make a post near the same time and they conflict, make an effort to edit both posts, rather than forcing one person to replace theirs entirely. We all put a lot of effort in our posts.
5) If you have a problem with a character/Rper, contact the manager or co-manager. If you don't like either the manager or co-manager, this isn't the RP for you.
6) After you have been assigned a starting character/created your character, you must name an RPer in the role-play to use your character for you (if/when you become inactive in the RP) on your character layout. If you become inactive in the RP without having someone to use your character for you, I will move on without your character.
7) You may only have one character.

- Silvi's father (and distant cousin to King Syla), Maximilian Alexandre Rodundra, ruled Talla City until he died, leaving his estate and properties to his sons. However, not forgetting his daughter, he gave her their manse and the properties upon which it sat. This also, unbeknownst to her brothers, entitled her to his fortunes on the estate, as declared in his will. This left her with considerable means to provide for herself.
Since then, she has converged some of her estate into providing the pleasures of companionship to gentlemen and ladies of nobility. This could vary in anything from mild conversation to one night stands. As a provider of such luxuries, she has her hand in many a pot, including several textiles, fashion providers, wineries, farmers, and anything else closely related to her business, both legal and those within the grey shades of the law. Her rising success has contributed to the economic growth of Tarsis, but also somewhat diminished her reputation at court.
Any who is not of nobility like she is but a mere commoner, but their patronage will never go unappreciated or undervalued, unless they are seen to be disrespectful or uncouth to either herself or her ladies that work for her. She likes that slavery is allowed in Brynom, but avoids any talk of Arijian slaves, as she avoids any magi with the best of her ability.

- Holly is a member of the "N.K. Battlemaster," a fierce pirate ship captained by her mother and well hunted by the Aandrin Navy. They do what all pirates, do, except with pure enjoyment from their plundering and pillaging. When the heat gets too strong, the ship will be hidden as the crew takes land to try to give the Navy a little more trouble during their search attempts. The ship has never before been caught.
Holly detests law and is suffocated by the rules and ambitions of others--except that of her mother's, whom she highly respects for her roguish, wild ways. She has always gone and done whatever makes her feel the most free, roaming from Kingdom to Kingdom in search of whatever she would classify as fun. She doesn't care for slavery, and so ships slaves out illegally when she can get away with it, whether they are Arijian or not.
She is strong willed, highly spirited and highly opinionated. She never hesitates to speak her mind and generally find herself in a lot of trouble on land, especially within Brynom Territory, which just so happens to be one of her favorite playgrounds. IN fact, in Brynom, they've just recently raised the bounty on her head, the wanted poster kept in her cabin for fond memories. They never did get the nose right, the louts.

- MacBeth has done it all. Bodyguard, assassination, city guard. Not all at the same time, mind you. For a time, she was a mercenary in her early years. She was a part of a company up until the bastard didn't pay her. After that, there was only one thing to do: Leave the company. With his head. For the years after, she's done all sorts of odd jobs, including bounty hunting--just whatever pays the bills.
MacBeth is a blunt person--she thinks what she thinks and there is no way around it. She thinks in black and white, there are no shades of grey. A contract is a contract and she never goes back on her word, but loathes the bastard that goes back on their end. Her grudge may not come to fruition immediately--she's waited years before finding her own justice from those that have slighted her. She is patient, calculating, and surprisingly loves children.
In her mind, life is survival of the fittest. If you are slave, it is because you were too weak to be any more than that. Arijian? They just make the world freakin' hard. Complicated, labeled...baggage. She'll work for them, work for those against them--she's killed many Arijian and non-Arijian alike and has no discrimination towards them, but rather, feels indifferent.

- The Riven Saint works personally for the "True One" of Inlantria. His position is known as the "Truth's Eye" and it is not publicly known what his specific duties are. However, they do know that he is present at every political function or major engagement, should the "True One" wish for his presence there. It is also known that the "Truth's Eye" is a law unto itself--a divine post.
The Truth's Eye answers to no law or subjugation to any other but that of the True One and is not to be questioned under any circumstance. Barring his inquiries or hindering him in any way is a capital offense and is punishable by death.
What the Riven Saint knows himself, however, is that his duty is shrouded with darker shadows that only he knows about. His sworn duty is to observe all and eliminate the heretics and unclean. He has killed many in the name of the True One--any politician, warrior, Arijian, or Sailor that he even remotely views as a threat to the True One is cut down without hesitation. There is no question of his loyalty, for if there were, he'd be dead by now.
He is ruthless, ambitious, philosophical, pious, and wise. If you do not follow his religion, you are wrong. This does not mean you beyond salvation, it simply means you are to be pitied and probably eventually killed, though whether it is by his blade or not, one can never know. The majority of his kills are spontaneous--though many have been planned through his duties, he has happened upon many occasions where the law had to be taken into his own hands, finding death to be a suitable punishment for whatever infraction he deems mete.

- Ledaino lives alone in the woods, isolated from the world. He has never served in a military or ventured into civilization unless necessary. He knows the forest that he lives in very well, makes what he needs, and lives off of the land. He respects nature and all life and is a lover of music and simplicity. Only the locals can know where to find him, as he has cleverly hidden his home underground.
Ledaino is very shy, but welcoming to those that venture his way, He has helped many a lost traveler to exit his forest or avoid any arising problems in those woods. He is good with animals, herbs, and survival. Unknown to the world, he is secretly a wild Arijian, though no one has ever witnessed him use any magic. Much of his magic is suited towards Druidic customs and there have been times when homesteaders have sought him out for advise or aid gearing towards animal care and birthing, as well as water witching.

- Allan, a young boy of seventeen, is the cooks assistant for the "Mistress of Pleasures," where the head cook is his father. He has had to memorize recipes, herbs, and knows how to prepare just about any common meal. He is also knowledgeable about fruits and vegetables on how they grow to when they are ripe and best ready to eat.
Though he is young and has much more time to live, he knows only one thing for certain and that is that he is in love. Madly in love. Obsessively, madly, truly, deeply in love. This woman--the truest, most beautiful creature ever born upon the world of Carid--is his soulmate and though she has not reciprocated his feelings, he has tried to woo her many a day and has yet to give in to her rejections.
As his father is so competent in his job, he has never been fired for his attempts to seduce the Mistress Silvi Rodundra, to his good luck. However, the rejections have piled up, though he has yet to lose any determination. In fact, it is almost as if he isn't even fazed by the rejections. After all, she does love him, she just doesn't realize it and she can't just say it, she is a noble after all.
Allan is upbeat, energetic, fun-going, extremely social, and optimistic in everything. It is a rare sight to see him without a smile and though he is a child, he knows when to be mature if he has to be. He enjoys music, cooking, romantic things, and gentlemanly social events. - At this time, women are not openly allowed by law to become an actress. The roles predominately, are still filled by men--particularly Damien. Damien is intersex, meaning that chemically and hormonally, he is a woman despite his physical traits. Though he has a man's body, he has the emotions and certain feminine, physical features as well, including a higher pitch in his voice.
Damien is a socially awkward person, and hardly accepted by most, due to his predicament. Some have mistaken him for a woman and others have just outright asked him what his gender is--perhaps he is just genderless, after all. He doesn't really truly know, himself. Though he is attracted to both genders, he doesn't feel like he belongs to either.
Thus, Damien has become a particularly renowned artist in performing in plays and musicals, finding his only way into acceptance for his rare talent of being so effective at feigning to be a woman. He has also used this career to somewhat hide his identity in that after the shows, when he speaks with his fans, he does not remove his costume as most would. Many admire this true "need" to be in character for his people, thus commending him for his talents and dedication to his job.
Damien is lightly trained to fight with a few short blades, but uncomfortable with the idea of fighting or harming anyone. He is shy, awkward, hesitant, uncertain, and politely refined. Additionally, he is will educated and mildly wealthy due to the entertainment business.

- Kintrisk is an Arijian that does not quite fit in with her society. Most Inlantrian magi have their faces painted with representational drawings and symbols, but her face is pale and her hair is all there. Many have their heads shaved, so as to pain on their entire scalps. Additionally, most see an Arijian in the familiar Inlantrian robes.
However, Kintrisk is nothing like most Arijians. Not only is she pale and has a head full of hair, she wars non-traditional clothing from Brynom and can wield and fight quite well, unlike most of her fellow magic users. She was specially trained by the Truth's Eye, though she is uncertain in working for him.
The man is quiet and mysterious, often disappearing without a trace for quite some time before returning to give her more tasks. Other than religious and battle training, she has given many opportunities that her people have generally never have, making her very different, but also very strong.
She has always been separated from her people, pulled away from the traditional raising and birth of most Inlantrians, chosen at birth to have the duty for this sole purpose in divine assistance and loyalty. She has done her duties without question, befriended many of those with relevant and high political stations, and has become quite the renowned and respected warrior, herself, albeit a "weird" or "odd" one.
Despite being so different and an outcast. she holds fast to her loyalty to the Goddess, even more so to her secret affinity to feel more admiration and loyalty to that of the Truth's Eye, rather than the True One. She has no shame in this, though she has never told a soul, for she would be severely chastised. She believes as The Riven Saint as told her, and that is that her fate is to be different--to be strong. To unite magical and physical prowess into one and end slavery, injustice, and to spread the faith.

Magic Talents/Types:

- Kintrisk specializes in Augmentation(Enhancement), Illusion, and Abjuratory(Rejection/Protective) type magics. While she is capable of casting Destructive type magics, both their strength and range are extremely limited. Her use of Mind-affecting magics are never particularly successful, though the Truth's Eye assures her that the blood of Seers runs in her veins, something she tries to with considerable detail to avoid learning.

- Kintrisk is able to detect magic, not through spells as most magi might, but through her sense of smell. Perhaps this is in someway her greatest strength against other magi. Since she can detect their scent she can easily discern most magi just by being close, even if they are attempting to disguise themselves.
It is neither full proof nor completely accurate, since it seems to be affected by dispersion, time, strength, type, and also to some degree it's intent/or the caster's nature. Instead compare it to the complexity of wine: Each wine has several traits, even those of similar types or even the same batch for that matter can be drastically different.
Perhaps it's true strength is that it requires no incantations nor even a light draw on her magic reserves, making it useful even when exhausted.

Assuming the voice, and appearance of Borthos, a local thatcher. (She is able to mimic him, due to knowing his habits and mannerisms well.)
Extending an illusionary field to copy the area around her along with a illusionary copy of herself, while obscuring the original. (Slow, and taxing, though it could allow her to surprise someone who would be focused on the illusion.
Her "War" of Great-sword, which she keeps in a shrunken state so as to allow it to be taken with her easily and with far less detection. (After all many people can carry a knife/dagger to a party with hardly any comment or complaint, even higher social class parties, unless the person has a particular reason otherwise.)

He is determined, respectful, and well behaved in his ranks, doing what he can to keep the city safe and to helping all that may have even the smallest troubles around him.
He is well known for his kindness and sincerity to all. His wife and six children always feel safe knowing that he is either patrolling the streets or watching the wall at night or day. Only once has he been absent from sentry duty, and that was only because his wife forced him to stay home due to his severe illness that he tried to work under, anyways.

- Shaiya is a skilled medic, working constantly to save lives in the infirmaries all around the Kingdom of Brynom. Due to her popularity with her patients, she manages to keep a busy schedule. She is excellent with her hands and applying the correct herbs and medicines to ward off diseases, curses, and the like. She cannot, however, heal magical wounds, and is the personal medical adviser to the King and Queen of Brynom.
Knowing the destruction that magic can cause from experience, Shaiya has a huge distaste for magic users and refuses to treat them. - Riena is an Inlantrian to the core, believing in all of the Gods and Goddesses of her home and following Inlantrian traditions quite dutifully. As most I.nNlantrian, her skin is riddled in tattoos, all with personal and deep meaning. The majority of those who are not Inlantrian will probably not know what they mean, but that does not matter at all.
She has found mot visitors from other Kingdoms to be quite brutish, rude, and odd, at best. Many do not understand the large amount of religious statues and buildings here. Everything here is "decorative" to them, but they do not understand that it is quite relevant.
Regardless, she does as she has always done--create fashionable, Inlantrian clothing that many would dare to have if they had the coin. Many do not have that coin--a shame to say, but her artistry is naught but the finest work in of the Kingdom, as far as she is concerned.

- Izhara’s shop had been inherited from her mother, who, it must be said, ran a much more honest business than her daughter. Izhara has grown skilled at lying and scamming after her mother’s death, and uses the little, weak magic she has to pretend at fortunetelling as well. While the locals have learned not to trust her by now, those traveling through her town are easy prey for her and her wares.
Izhara has an almost unhealthy obsession with her personal appearance as well. She will spend hours primping in the morning and will lash out aggressively at anyone who ruins her carefully crafted appearance. Personality/Back Story: Vilkas lives in a forest with a single old man known as Ledaino. He was discovered by the man when he was but a child, wild and feral, living away from mankind with little knowledge of them. However, he was not a human--he was a cub. Two cubs, to be exact. Ledaino took care of the two, baby wolves, raising them and taming them with the kindness of someone that understood nature. He did not treat them as pets, but as family and as children. As Vilkas grew older, he realized why he became so attached the the odd, fatherly creature so easily--he was actually a man, too.
An illegal magi that was wild and free, born from wolves as wolves and lived and raised as wolves by man. He never knew that the two, wolven bodies were not his true forms until he accidentally used his magic for the first time to like similar to that of his father, all from the emotion of sorrow from being nothing like him, like he sometimes wanted to be. It was then that Ledaino had to learn a new task as a father--teaching a beast to be walk, talk, and think like a human being. The man was not overly surprised behind the magic behind the two wolves, as he knew they were magical creatures, before.
As it would seem, the two wolves never parted from each other--if one tried to move too far from the other, they would cry out in pain and a small, magical strand of light could be seen, holding the two together as if they were chained. Additionally, if one accidentally hurt itself, the other would also cry out in pain. Ledaino would not see the any wounds on the second wolf, but he could still tell that it hurt, just the same. A dangerous magical bond, no doubt.
Despite learning to become a man, Vilkas still has a wild side--and not just when in animal forms. He has become much more skilled at transformation and can transform up to five times a day, but his personalities seem to clash from time to time. There are points where such sweet, young wolves seem innocent, polite, and almost refined and other instances where the man, Vilkas, is wild, anti-social, and chaotic.
