The Secret Wars.

Henry swore as he tumbled over the rail, trying to catch himself and failing, only to feel his fall jerk to a stop as someone grabbed his ankle. He kept a death grip on his gun and his sword. "Alfredo?" he asked, turning his head to see the edge of his form holding tight to him, and he braced his hands against the floor below the railing, pushing himself up until he toppled back over the railing onto his ass. Immediately he held up his gun and shot again at the demon.

"Just worry about getting to the controls," he muttered to Alfie, as he pushed himself shakily to his feet.

Henry's eyes lit up with understanding before his gaze darkened again, and he shoved Alfie back away from him. "Oh shut up," he growled at Alfie, before shooting at the demon once more, emptying the holy charge he had in his gun.

He lunged again, out of the holy field, this time pulling back his sword before he struck and swinging down at the demons legs.

Helena didn't even manage a sound as Henry went over the railing; a sharp intake of breath and a frantic sprint was all she managed before Alfredo pulled him back over. She relaxed for a moment- though little could be said to be the same for Kropp. Who was still tiding demons off with grenades and his ax.
Yet, Helena's heart seized up once again as Henry lunged at the demon.
'He can't die; he shouldn't die. He's needed, Alfredo needs him, I need him; if he dies we'll lose- we'll all die.' Helena's feeble mind was now whizzing a mile a minute and knew she had a split second to do something incredibly stupid. She sprinted for the demon, assuming a fighting stance about ready to send her sword straight through his chest.
Kropp was currently occupied with a demon ready to rip out his throat and swallow it whole; he could do little more than manage a 'no' that even then was cut off as the demon clawed at him.

Panic rose up in his throat for a moment as Alfredo lunged as well, the idiot, getting himself caught and hoisted up above the demon's head. "Alfredo - "

He cut himself off as Alfredo grabbed the demon's arm, sending an arc of holy energy through him. He grinned at his words, and he dropped his sword for a moment, reaching for a new holy crystal with his now freed hand as he ejected the nearly empty one already in it. He slammed the crystal in and raised the gun, squeezing the trigger over and over and sending shot after shot into the demon's head.

Helena growled and kicked as the demon hoisted her up by her neck, wrapping her arm around his and blasting off an entire clip at the lower parts of his body. Knees, legs and the like.

Hailey cringed, her body was hardly responding anymore, she had cramps every where and her breathing was incredibly irregular, at this rate... she was done for.

She quickly dodged a demons lunge and then parried another, following up with a slash that opened its chest and the stabbing it right through the face, making it grunt slightly before disappearing.

Another demon than charged at her, kicking her hand, making her lose grip on her long sword, which went flying in the opposite direction before dematerializing in mid air. The demon than kicked her side which she attempted to block with her whole arm, seemingly fracturing a few bones on the impact. She let out a small moan before the demon came at her again, grabbing her by the neck and lifting her off the ground.

''Im going to enjoy this'' it said with a evil grin before stabbing her straight in the abdominal area with its claws, slowly, just to ensure more pain. Hailey lets out a terrible cry of agony as she began to taste the blood coming into her mouth and feeling it leak down her stomach.

Helena was taken aback by Alfredo's strike and quickly retaliated by raising her hand and pistol whipping him across the face.
"Listen you twat I've had fucking enough of abuse today so next time you touch me the next bullet that comes out of this pistol goes through one of your kneecaps." She hissed, but acknowledged he was their only hope for survival. She turned around to see Kropp, blood in his teeth, running from his nose and from several other places. He looked bruised, battered, beaten, yet he was still putting up quite a fight.
"Glad to see you fuckers finally came to help good ole' Kropp!" He spat sarcastically, wedging his ax in the side of a demons head and blasting off a few rounds from his pistol at another. Helena assisted him, blasting one point blank in the head as it lunged at her, knocking it back so she could reload her gun and then repeat the process until it dropped.

Hailey was still cringing and letting out small whimpers as the demon continued to sink his claws into her abdominal area.

Her vision was now turning slightly blurry, the only thing she could taste was the blood in her mouth and she could hardly feel a thing other then the pain emitting from her stomach. 

Suddenly, she feels the holy barrier that had been protecting her form the demonic energy all the time, crash down.. No doubt that the crystal had run out of juice. The demonic presence instantly rushed through out her whole body and the madness took over in a second. Her last thought was... *fuck...*

A big crazed smile appears on Hailey's face and her eyes look at the demon, almost vibrating with madness. She looks down at the demons hand wounding her and back up at its face again. 

She laughs out wickedly and says "Oooooo you wanna play?! I can play!" she says while her body was shaking in every direction.

The demons eyes widen as she grabs his arm near his shoulder and then hits it's elbow straight on with the other, breaking it in half. It drops Hailey, who lands on her feet but loses balance in a odd way before finally gaining it again, still wobbling around. 

She jumps up and dives towards the demon, slamming it onto the ground and the getting up again to stomp on its fact multiple times while laughing some more. 

Hailey immediately dodges another demon with her weird motions and bone chilling laughter, than materializing two freakishly long katana's with which she simply started swinging around it all directions while singing London bridge is falling down mixed with laughter.

Demon were being decapitated and dismembered in a decent radius around Hailey, it almost seemed as if it were a meat grinder. 

Henry swung his hand back and pointed blindly behind him with his gun at Alfie and Helena. "You two are not arguing right now!" he yelled firmly, stepping out of the holy barrier to swing at a demon approaching. He brought the gun back and shot another in the face, retreating behind the barrier as one lunged at him. He wasn't quite quick enough though, and it raked it's claws across his chest before it ran into the barrier and leaped back.

He managed a glance across the floor to see Hailey destroying demons in a swath, her voice barely carrying up to them. She was... singing? "I think Hailey just lost it," he called as he reloaded his pistol.

Hailey spun and slashed horizontally, letting two heads fall to the ground. A demon then lunged at her from the right, she quickly retaliated with her right hand, ripping the demons hand to shreds before she stabbed it through the chest with her other hand. She finally slashes diagonally, from it's collar bone to the spot her other sword was still piercing through its body, and than, she uses both katana's to rip through the rest of the body, decapitating the demon completely, blood gushing out everywhere, adding on to the blood that Hailey was already covered with. 

"OoooOooo, blood! Blood everywhere!" she says than laughing out loud and seemingly dancing under the pouring blood, singing "blood drops keep falling on my head".

She finally stops and wobbles around , laughing maniacally. A demon launches a blast at her and she quickly bends backwards, dodging the blast by only a few inches. Staying in the same bent back position, she grins at the demon and shakes her finger left to right.

 "No no no, nobody interrupts my fun, I'll kill you silly!" She yells out chaining on with a crazed laugh. Both of her katana's then disappear and instead, Hailey's body covers up with flames, behind the flames only her silhouette can be seen. 

She immediately pounces into the demon that had thrown the blast at her, upon landing on it, the flames violently erupt in every direction, scorching every demon to close to her. 

She laughs again, wobbling around some more "Smells like something is over cooked!" she says before using both her hands to launch flame throwers in all directions once more.

"That fucking twat started it!" Helena snarked back; looking across the room to see the carnage that was so close yet so far from her.
"I'm going to go help Hailey-"
"Oh, fucking hell!" Kropp groaned, realizing he would once again be forced to fight a demon legion alone.
"Kropp, hold the rest of them back."
"What the fuck does it look like I've been doing!?" Helena took off out of the barrier like a shot. Pushing her way through the vast crowd of demons; who luckily seemed far more focused on the rest of her teammates than her small figure wiggling through the crowd. "Hailey! Stop!" She ducked under one of the fireballs Hailey had dispersed throughout the crowd. A burning sensation spread up her legs as she sprinted through the flames." Hailey! Stop! It!" She wanted to talk her down; yet her mouth nor her mind could find the words. All she found within herself to do was to fling herself at Hailey and wrap her arms tightly around her.

Henry watched as Helena dove down into the mass of demons on the floor below, and he swore under his breath as she charged for Hailey. She was crazy. Both of them. Hailey wasn't going to stop for her...

He glanced back at the stairs, seeing Kropp and Lucia barely managing to hold the horde back. There was no room for him up top, but...

He sheathed his sword for a moment, holding his gun tight in his left hand as he swung his legs over the railing, standing on the edge of the platform holding onto the railing. He shifted along the railing, looking down to find one of the supports of the platform, a long metal rail reaching all the way down to the ground.

He pushed off the railing, dropping down and snatching hold of the bar, his hand burning as he slid down it to the ground. He drew his sword as he landed, turning to blast another demon in the face with his pistol. He felt something slam into his back as a demon tackled him from behind, and he yelled in pain as it raked claws across his shoulders as it clung to him. He slammed backwards into the rail, pointing his gun behind his head and shooting blindly, the howl of the demon letting him know it had hit.

He charged forward, fighting through the demons on the floor to the base of the stairs and taking up a post there, cutting off the flow of demons up the stairs.

Hailey was on a flaming rampage, so much that she did not notice Helena yelling out at her and coming her way until the final moment, as she was jumping to her to try and hug her. 

Just seeing Helena up close woke up Hailey's consciousness deep within, and in a second, she fought with all of her willpower, and managed to take control of her body.

Helena's body seemingly acted as a fire extinguisher, as she pounced Hailey, the flames choke up and vanished. 

Hailey's face had gone from crazed, to surprised to finally, exhausted, in pain and worried. Hailey could no move, as much as she wanted to hug Helena back, she just couldn't. "You crazy reckless girl.. I could have killed you.." she muttered out, obviously extremely relieved she had not hurt Helena. She was simply letting Helena support all of her weight. 

At that moment she felt the madness trying to resurface, he eyes slightly widened, as much as they could. She continued whispering out. "Quickly Helena... Replace the crystal in my belt buckle.. I don't have much time.. It's in my small pouch." she finished, slightly moving her leg to indicate where the pouch was.

Hailey had often been a mess from various fights, but this was probably one of the worse. 

Kropp looked back in surprise as several demons were blasted to pieces, a grin coming to his face as he saw Lucia. He raised an eyebrow at her.
"Perish the thought, love. I just thought you might be a bit occupied." He turned back, spinning around and beheading a demon with his ax.
Helena took a step back, having to support Hailey's weight was surprisingly difficult. She hadn't realized the physical tax of the day until now.
"Yes, you could have, but you didn't." She replied, fumbling with the bag on her leg; pulling out another crystal and replacing it in Hailey's belt.

Hailey mumbles out her thanks as Helena replaced her crystal, immediately feeling the demonic energy leaving her body.

Soon after, as the demons were going to attack her and Helena again, Alfie and Lucia detonated the generator, but it seemed it was holy, annihilating every demon in the room. 

It was quiet now, and Hailey sighed in relief, which made her cough up a bit of blood. "S-Sorry..." she mumbles out since it went on Helen's shoulder. "I can't.. Walk.." she says, attempting to move her legs in vain. 

A wave of emotion than submerges from inside her, feeling Helena this close.. Even though her body was numb.. And knowing that she was okay.. A few tears started rolling down her cheeks, some falling on Helena's neck. 

She whispered into her ear "I-I'm.. So glad.. That.. That your okay.." her voice turning a little more high pitch at the end of her sentence because of the emotion clogging her throat. 

After shedding a few more tears, she manages to move her arms, despite the pain and the numbness, and she wraps them around Helena, finally hugging her back.  She than moans in a mixture of pain and relief and then faints on Helena. 

Helena began to drag Hailey to the exit, but it was obvious she couldn't carry her.
"Kropp! Kropp!" She shouted, calling out for him. He looked down at her struggling with Hailey and cursed under his breath. He snatched a grenade from his belt and threw it into the crowd of dispersing demons. He quickly made for the two; and upon reaching them, threw Hailey over his shoulder's in a firemans carry.
"Come on, Helen- We've got to run-" Kropp couldn't do much with besides run with Hailey draped over his shoulders. Helena started to follow him up the stairs, but halted.
Where was Henry?
She turned, eyes scanning the room; finding him at the bottom of the stairs. She hurried towards him, grabbing him by the arm of the shirt and pulling him towards the exit, following after Kropp and Lucia.

Henry ducked instinctively as holy energy suddenly burst from the generator, destroying the demons in front of him in a flash. He grinned, straightening, breathing hard and bleeding from wounds all over his body.

He looked back up as Alfredo yelled at them to run, and as the others took off Alfredo struggled to get the sergeant away from the generator. Helena raced up to him and grabbed him by the sleeve. "Just go," he said, prying her hand off and running off to Alfie, limping a little.

"Need a hand?" he said, grabbing the sergeant by the other end and taking off with him and Alfie.

Kropp sighed.
"Little shit.." He spat out a small amount of blood that had been pooling in his mouth and started follow Lucia out. "Hurry up, you lot!" He shouted behind him.
Helena, on the other hand, decided there was no way she was leaving without the groups senior member. "'M not leaving without you, so deal." She replied firmly, trailing after him; ready to provide assistance to either if need be.
