Darkness Bound Registration

Paragraph form please, and while I'm not horribly picky about grammar try to at least be semi-lit. This is set in a more Medieval time, and there are more than one plane of existence.

Bithmorea: It is a vast nothingness. Completely black and void of all life save one very pissed off god.

The Mortal Plane(I know I know, what an interesting name. :p): Where the mortals, and other creatures besides gods and demons live.

Dae'monium: Realm of the demons and their creator.

Meridithian: Plane of the gods.


Most of the RP will take place in Merdithian and the Mortal Plane, although the other places will be visited.

We need good and bad people. There is no limit on the amount of characters you can have, as of yet, however please don't be more characters than you can handle.


MAIN PLOT:

An evil god has been locked away in a powerful prison by a goddess, who sacrificed herself and the immortality of her descendants to keep him trapped. As he was dying he pledged that one day her descendants would produce a female child and she would be sacrificed in the very spot on the anniversary of his imprisonment, thereby releasing him back into the world.

Centuries later, that female child has been born and has grown into a young woman. The anniversary of the god’s imprisonment is upon them, but the girl has no idea who she is or of her significance. The mate of the martyred goddess has sent protection for the girl from the others searching for her, trying to release the evil god.

In the time the girl lives, there is no longer the belief in the gods and magic is feared. Dragons and other magical creatures no longer wander the world freely and must hide their true nature. The Medieval world is a time of fear of the unknown, ripe for the taking of a powerful force. The world and future of humans relies on the life of this one girl and the strength of her protectors.

CHARACTER TYPES:

Dragons: Mostly western in appearance, the giant lizards are usually messengers of the gods. They can be pretty much be any color with white and black being the rarest of them. Most of them are good natured and while they can be very protective and dangerous when it comes to things they believe belongs to them they won’t hesitate to help those in need. They have two forms: their true dragon form and their human guise.

Demons: Alright, the demons only live in one realm. They have the ability to bond with someone allowing them to feed their partner power, and take it away. They are tricksters—like the god that created them—and while some are nice they always have their own agenda. They can look like anything; however most do have a very humanoid appearance. While not immortal they do live for a VERY long time.

Godkind: Godkind rule over everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING. There is a god for every purpose, and that being said they can only control that thing. If you are a god of pretty pink flowers you can only control things about pretty pink flowers. They can look like anything since what they control is literally apart of themselves, keep that in mind when creating them. For instance if you were indeed the god of pretty pink flowers you would most likely have SOMETHING on your body that resembled pretty pink flowers. Since there are many things in the world there can be more than one of each kind of god, you would just have to pick a sub category.
Example: God of death. Sub category- the act of dying
God of death—Sub Category- decaying

Also, Godkind are NOT immortal in the sense that they can’t die EVER. They can, just not through disease or old age; however decapitation is just as effective against them as anything else it’s just harder to do.

And while they might not be exactly be good, they do NOT want Kismet free. Mainly because they still remember the destruction that he had caused before his imprisonment.

Demi-Gods: They are very weak gods, and usually aren’t the god of anything; having very minor uses of their magic. They do however retain the immortality from their parents.

Fairies: Small, winged humanoids. Usually rather chatty, and virtually harmless. They make expert spies and information gatherers however. The tallest a fairy can be is 2 feet, other than that, their appearance is entirely up to you. While not immortal they do live for a VERY long time.

Humans: Should be self-explanatory. :3

This is in the Darklands mostly because I have a horrible imagination and there will be horrible, bloody, disgusting things happening at some point I can guarantee it. Backstory: When he was born, Ren's parents were always there for him. However, when he was about 23, they were killed when humans tore down their forest. Soon after their deaths, a young human girl named Alex found Ren hiding in a bush. She took him home with her, caring for him in secret so nobody found out. Now, Ren is taking care of Alex, who is an old woman on the brink of death. Soon, Ren will leave Alex and find a new life away from humans. However, he doesn't know much of a fairy's lifestyle because he was domesticated by Alex, who devoted her entire life to Ren's wellbeing.

Back Story: He enjoys nothing more than to cause chaos among humans and has been travelling around doing just that for many years. However, he isn't completely malicious towards humans, he just likes to mess with them. He has a girlfriend back in Dae'monium who makes trips to the Mortal Plane to visit him from time to time, and he sometimes goes back to Dae'monium as well.

Back Story: Romulus is the God of the Hunt and has a deep connection with the animals of the wild. He's cool and laid back. Romulus has known Remus since childhood and has formed a small crush on him. Unlike the Roman myths, they are not brothers and obviously, did not build Rome in a day. Romulus is the stronger one out of the duo and takes care of Remus. Romulus found Remus as a small boy and has taken care of him.

Back Story: Remus first met Romulus when his family was killed by demons. He's been raised and taken in by Romulus. He's lived and loved Romulus his whole life. Romulus taught Remus everything there is to know about appreciating nature and the earth as well as conecting with nature. He'd give his life for Romulus in a heartbeat and take a bullet for him.

Back Story: When he was born a white dragon into a black dragon family, he was abandoned. Amare found him soon after, while Lukah was still a baby and took him in. Amare raised him and since then Lukah has been loyal to him. Though Amare raised him and is his father in all sense of the term, Lukah has the quiet, darker personality of his dragon brethren. Though he never loses control with his friends or people he trusts, he can be violent and focused if anyone threatens his family. He is entrusted by Amare to protect Emryn. He owns the farm next to the one she works and has one person who helps him so he can focus on protecting her.

He seems lonely and misses his mate, but has not chosen to enter another lasting relationship since her death. He is quiet and thoughtful, always thinking things through before making decisions.

Her pants are black leather like material and she wears a purple cord as a belt. She wears boots that are black.

Back Story:Savanna grew up with her parents in a small village. However a group of bandits attacked and killed almost everyone in the village. Only she and one other survived. However her father would not make it out alive. He would die in just a few short hours after the attack. She decided to leave and to never return to that place ever. She keeps it in her heart but never talks about it. When people ask where she is from she simply tells them that she doesn’t come from anywhere. She is a very spunky girl and loves to have fun. However she knows right from wrong and tries to stay on the good side.

Appearance: She has sun like blond hair with one eye a sky blue, the other a grass green. She is about 5'3".

Back Story: Iolani is Arianna's mom. Usually she doesn't mess with human affairs, but she fell in love with Leland. They conceived a child. Iolani loved Arianna, but could not stay with her or Leland. She has watched over them, unknowingly for years. She has helped out with their apple orchard, providing them the correct weather for peak conditions.

She usually does not bother with the affairs of the other Gods, trying to maintain neutrality. However because of a recent incident, she is forced to get involved.

Krono is very tall (6.7 Feet) and quite broad-shouldered, yet his body build is lean and relatively slim. He moves with a brusque grace and an overwhelming confidence that he never fails to demonstrate. His black hair is short, dull and quite bristly to the touch whilst his eyes are a brilliant shade of silver that glows in the moonlight. Krono generally wears clothing of simple color, like gray, black, or white. His apparel generally consists of: an armored black trench coat, with a gray scarf around his neck. Along with that, he wears a white dress shirt underneath his overcoat, along with black pants and heavy armored boots. He wears a single ring of silver on his left hand that is infused with a crimson colored diamond. He wears plated vambraces on his arms, with gray gloves on his hands. All of his attire is ruggedly resistant to wear and tear, though their appearance may lead to think otherwise.

Back Story:

Krono used to lead a very normal existence, which was that of an everyday mercenary. Although he knew very little of his past, and for that fact, the reason behind his strange heritage, that of his Demigod blood, he cared very little: the past was the past, and he never lost a moment thinking about it. For him, what had happened had happened… he could do nothing but act on the consequences.

Thus, he had fought for many years as an elite warrior in hundreds of wars, and he had never once lost a battle, despite the fact that his skill was nothing short of ordinary. Years of interminable combat had left him with a peculiar nickname that gave him a strange sense of purpose: it was none other than Blood Drinker, for his numerous weapons had spilled the blood of thousands of warriors over time.

Satisfied with his simple and straightforward, yet strangely profound and nomadic warrior existence, Krono desired very little from the world. A family, children, wealth, fame… he cared not for these ephemeral things. All he wanted was power and battle. And for many more years, his longing was fulfilled, as he slew numerous foes and demolished many kingdoms.

Then he found the sword.

A mercenary like Krono enjoyed slaying anything, be it a wild dragon or a corrupt king, yet at the same, he also enjoyed exploring lost ruins, hidden monasteries and forgotten tombs. He explored not for riches or knowledge, but simply because he was a curious Demigod. It was during one of his numerous explorations, that he found a sword. Hidden deep within devastated castle, nestled within a forgotten mountain range, Krono had found his purpose. Dropping the reliable sword that he been using for several hundred years, everything around him lost focus.

His vision blurred and his muscles felt weak, yet all he could see was the crimson sword, beckoning Krono with a soft, yet powerful whisper in his mind. Crossing the hidden antechamber in a few powerful strides, he grasped the sword in his hand, and he instantly felt at peace. This sword was his calling, his life, his existence. The sword once again whispered in his mind, a soft message of power… its name was Muramasa, the sword of crimson death. Indeed, inscribed along the strange crimson metal that formed the cursed katana was the word Muramasa. Krono knew that his life had changed forever. No longer would he merely fight on the battlefield with his mediocre skills… No. With the Muramasa, he would dominate the war field with the immense power that was contained within the katana. For once in his life, he felt absolute confidence.

Leaving the ruins, he strode forth into the dying sunlight, wielding the Muramasa in his hands, exuding an oppressive aura of pure power. The Muramasa, satisfied with its withholder, continued whispering promises of absolute dominion over the world to Krono, who chuckled with mirth. His life… his power… it was all the same now. He held the cursed blade, and the entire world would know his undying wrath. And although he desired to give the world a good thrashing, he felt no ill will or malice… he was simply looking for a fight. Which essentially describes Krono in one word.

Seeing as the world is generally prepping itself for an era of unrest, Krono sees it as his divine duty to get involved and cause as much chaos and strife as possible.
