[Attn: Dragons]

Most dragons were still deep in their slumber, and Drokui was no different. He had his head buried semi-under the golden sand; his breath creating a puff of dust every time he exhaled. His tail tip twitched as he slept. He was young, but the signs of needing to bond was quickly showing in his behavior. He was getting more aggressive; as a fire dragon, his temper already was very short, but add the gnawing feeling that something was missing inside him and a fire dragon turned dangerous--not that they weren't before.

Lyamir yawned with a roar, that startled some of the younger dragons around her. Snorting slightly, she heaved herself up to walk towards the open balcony that allowed the dragons to venture outside as they pleased. She could feel her rider approach, and wondered what they would do today. She was as agitated as her rider at the sudden loss of Kyra's parents, she felt her rider's distress, and it carried over to her.

Inra opened one eye as Lyamir roared, before rolling over onto her back. She was one of the oldest dragons here, not that she really minded. There was some talk about her being defective, but it was kept at a hush, and usually scolded by Isadeva. She liked that one.

Thalas hissed as Lyamir made her show. The blues, dark eyes glinting with spite. He had half a mind to ice the fire one's back as she passed him, but the warning thought from his rider made him back down. They had a mission, and attacking the dragon of one of the noble families wasn't a good way to blend in.

Shadowmount, it was quiet this time of the morning. Isadeva made her way silently down the stair cases, and into the main hall of the riders court. Several of the staff nodded towards her as she passed, some even greeting her kindly as she quickly brushed past them all.

No one was surprised to see her up this early. It had become a ritual for her; get up, eat a little breakfast, and rush through the Keep to avoid any and all attention. Her first stop was the dragon's nesting area. Several of the dragons loved the attention that she showered on them, and of all the talk of them being horrid beasts that could kill you with the blink of an eye, there was nothing they loved more than a chin scratch.

She stopped outside the Nesting, sighing happily at the warmth that radiated from the sand that the dragons loved to sleep in. Taking a deep breath she started off through the area, smiling at the feel of the sand on her feet. She was supposed to meet Zane and Cora here for a bit of out of the classroom class. She had been surprised the day the Riders had come to her to teach the class. She wasn't a rider, and none of the dragon's had even showed an interest in her besides the normal affection they bestowed on her.

While most riders were just now awake, or just now attending their duties, Daiden was awake and already half way into the wilds. He had risen early and while Armenian was not happy about it, Rider and Dragon had left the city to hunt. The mountains were a dangerous place. Home to wild animals, as well as people. Daiden wasn't worried, however, it would have to be something very big, or very stupid to ever attack a dragon. The trees were thick here, and Daiden had finally told Armenian to land. They could continue on foot, as much as he knew the dragon wouldn't want too.

He patted the scaley hide of the creature affectionately, starting through the underbrush.
"Be careful, and stay close to me. I don't want to get lost. Even with our telepathy it would take us forever to find each other again," he thought towards his dragon, the mental link between them sending it loud and clear into his dragon's mind.

(I have a crap ton of characters. So no I didn't add all of them in at the present, I will slowly add them in later. You don't HAVE to to use the [Attn: -insert people here] but it helps if you do. Have fun!)

"Whoo-HOO!"

Nephenee slid down the steep mountainside, riding a shield like a sled, only standing. How many bruises and cuts had she gotten doing this in her younger days? Didn't matter, she was an expert at it, now. Besides, sometimes in these mountains there was nothing better to do. She'd do some hunting soon enough--and that was always fun--but this was just a little side diversion, and ridiculously exciting.

She flew off the side, spun, flipped, and landed safely, shield in hand. She wore her insulated gloves while doing this--the first time she had successfully done it and tried to pick up her shield she had burned the fire out of her hand.

It truly was a great life in the mountains. Hunting, climbing, and the occasional fights that she got into breaking some rowdy people up--or scum like that rape gang--with her grandfather. Seeing him in action never ceased to amaze her and she only hoped she fought with even half the fire he had in his belly.

She heard heavy footfalls to the south. They seemed too singular to be a large army--that had only happened once, but luckily they were just passing through. It felt...

A smile grew on her face. It was a dragon! It had to be!

"Well, shucks," she said. "Looks like I'm a hankerin' for some scaly hide!"

Quickly and quietly, she made her way out toward where she could hear the footfalls until finally, she saw it. Her eyes grew wide. Forty feet tall with dark orange scales? That had to be a fire dragon! She'd tangled with plenty of them. And a couple of ice ones at one time--and both varieties were bigger than all hell. Luckily, the shield was insulated, as were her gloves--her shield had a layer of dragon hide in it and her gloves were made from dragon hide.

She looked around for the best point of attack. She found it!

A high precipice afforded a steep incline. She'd clobber that sucker using her shield sliding! She quickly scrambled to the top, readied herself, and waited for the dragon to get in line. All she could see was its head bobbing, she angled the trajectory seeing when it would reach the best point to clobber it with a shield slide bash. She checked her spear to make sure it was secure; she'd need it after if it had some fight left in it after ringing its head like a bell. They usually did.

Cora Stretched as she opened her eyes, it was the start to a new day and it was early. Normally she wouldn't be up for a while. but she wanted to clean and grab something to eat before she went to go meet Isadeva. Dressing she braided her long red hair down behind her back and headed down to the food court to get something to eat nodding to the staff.

While she ate the last piece of fruit as she walked through towards the nest area, feeling the heat from the sun she thanked the gods for such lovely day to do some out of classroom Class. The sun shone as she walked, spotting Isadeva she smiled and walked over to her. "Good morning." She smiled as she looked into the nesting area. She hoped soon she would have a dragon. To have someone to trust and know so well because they are one.

[Attn: Dragons]

Syat lifted her head out of the golden warm sand with a yawn hearing Lyamir roar and probably wake most of the dragons. Young and older. Stretching she sat and watched looking around at the others before standing and going for a walk her self. She wandered about towards the Balcony near Lyamir as she felt the sun warm down on her scales as she wondered what the day would hold for her.

Nedria was always a morning person. It helps when one is a Nomadic farmer. They had just arrived and started to set up the night before. She sits up in bed, the other in the 'room' is already empty. Nedria snaps her fingers. One of these time she will beat her grandma up. She produces a ball of water and drops it in a basin near her. Perfect for washing herself off in the morning. She dresses and joins her grandma who is feeding the small group of animals.

She steps outside and looks around at the simple circular tent style house with a main area and two side rooms. This time they are yet again outside of a small village at the base of the mountains. Nedria steps outside her home and looks around. It sure is beautiful here and quiet, hopefully they will be able to spend some time here. She can make out the village in the distance. They have never actually lived in a village. When she was younger she never questioned it, but now that she is older she wants to be around people.

She walks over to the area where they keep a few animals. She produces a ball of water in her hands, placing it into the water trough. Her parents don't like her using her magic, but she doesn't care. What is the worst that can happen? It is not like she flaunts it openly. “Good morning Grandma, are Mom and Dad still sleeping?” Nedria looks around not seeing them.

“They headed to town to pick up some supplies. You are the sleepy head this morning, Nedria.” Her Grandma approaches her an d gives her a hug. "Shall we take care of the animals before your parents get back, or would you rather practice your magic?"

Grandma was the only one that encourages her magic. Oh her parents knew that she is teaching Nedria. She can hear their arguments, but Nedria loves her one-on-one time with her grandma.

“I don't see why we can do both.” Nedria winks and starts to produce a sphere of water. It will be for the animals to drink with. She concentrates and moves the water to the trough they have.

ATTN: Isadeva, Cora

Zane laid on the ground, just a few feet away from his bed, as the sun light shined into his room, straight onto his dark skin.

A few moments more, and the sun light would move straight onto his closed eyes.

And it happened. Zane let out a growl, almost feral, as his eyes opened up only to be blinded by the light. He stumbled up to his feet in confusion, not knowing where he was because of this sudden attack that blinded him.

He was stumbling all over his room throwing his arms in every direction to try and fend off this imaginary attacker.

That is until he finally managed to open his eyes. He looked around his empty room, stupidly, as he realized he was alone. He sighed following up with a face palm as he muttered "Gotta stop falling asleep beside the bed Zane... Always leads to a horrible morning..."

Since the crazy wake up was over with, he could finally think clearly, thus allowing him to remember his "rendez-vous" with Isadeva.... Oh right.. That... Early.. Too early.

Zane's expression suddenly dropped as he realized what time it was... He muttered gibberish while getting ready for this, promising to be, very long day.

His pace was quite slow, as he moved throughout all the different rooms, trying to do too many things at once, still basically sleep walking...

In the end, he did however manage to get ready, not even late yet either. He was washed, dressed with a black tank top and simple white shorts that went all the way passed his knees. He had even grabbed an apple and devoured it before leaving.

Finally, he was on his way, but.. Not quite the way one would think. He was sleepwalking to his destination... Eyes closed and arm lifted up in front of him to make sure he wouldn't walk into anything, only slightly opening his eyes from time to time to make sure he was still in the right direction.

Zane's destination is the nesting area, where the two others would surely be waiting for his slow self. He took a few wrong turns but made it there nonetheless.

As he saw Isa and Cora he yawned loudly, not even trying to hold it in and waved at them with sleepy eyes, only saying "OI!" While walking up to them.

{Attn: Isadeva, Lyamir, dragons}

Kyra strode silently through the halls, ignoring the stares from others as she walked by. Since her parents had disappeared, it was like they kept expecting her to just disappear from right in front of them. Or since her father came back half-mad, they looked at her, waiting for her to go crazy too. It only fueled her determination to find out who was behind these attacks and put a stop to them. If she had any hope of saving her father or finding her mother, she had to get to the bottom of this. As she entered the nesting area, the familiar smell and sounds soothed her somewhat. She was often more comfortable with the dragons than with other people, including her own brother. Seeing Lyamir on the balcony, she smiled to Isadeva and headed that direction. Good morning, Ly, ready to fly?

******************************
{Attn: Syat, open}

Joelle left her quarters and started up to get Syat for their morning flight. She may be a council member and in charge of Shadowmount, but first and foremost she was a rider. She didn't get to fly with Syat as much anymore, so had started taking a morning and evening flight. If only to clear her head and stretch after being at her desk most of the day. Sweeping into nesting, she smiled at everyone as she pulled on her gloves. "Good morning, ladies. Beautiful morning for a ride." Easily drawn to Syat, she went straight to her, rubbing her cheek against the dragon's muzzle when she lowered her head. "Good morning, beautiful. We have a busy day ahead of us, let's get going."

******************************
{Attn: dragons, open}

Gray woke up quickly at Lyamir's roar and then snuffled, dropping his head back down and closing his eyes. Silly older dragons that had to wake at the crack of dawn. But he did concede that Lyamir's rider rose early, so the dragon had little choice. Glad still that he was riderless, he huffed and tried to go back to sleep.

******************************
{Attn: dragons, open}

Leren snorted at the dragons up and moving around already and cracked open his eyes. He figured they had to get up early and start practicing if any of them even had a hope of being better than him. Shuffling to his feet, he stretched his neck and tail and yawned loudly. Taking his time, he wandered out to the balcony, purposely bumping Lyamir with his tail.

Adela ignored them all. She preferred to rest until Marcus came to get her and not fly or practice maneuvers like Kyra had suggested they do. She preferred to be left alone and found the petty disagreements among the other dragons silly. Adela also knew that many of the other dragons and riders didn't like her because she liked to do her own thing, but she didn't care. She had Marcus and he was the only one she would listen to. So, she stayed where she was, pretending to doze while she waited for her rider.

Phoenix grumbled to herself as she woke. The sun had barely begun to peek over the horizon she could still see the moon. How could any of the other dragons be in such a playful mood this early in the morning? she wondered.

Lazarus walked through towards the nesting ground outside. He lifted his head hearing a dragon roar off up in the area where they rest. He shook his head his lip curled in disgust. Spotting Isa with a recruit and another joining her he shook his hea and tsked walking up towards them. "Making use of the Slaves .. I mean new recruits ?"

"Great, you're all here," Isadeva smile at both of the two recruits, shifting slightly to look at them. Sighing slightly, she gestured to where the dragons were slowly beginning to wake up.

"I decided that today we should have a little hands on training. Each dragon, while perfectly capable of taking care of themselves, need care. You have to wake up with them each morning, you have to feed them. They--" She was cut off by the deep masculine voice she had learned to dread over the years. She let out a breath, then turned to look at Lazarus. Smiling.

"And look, here is a high class rider to show us how it is done." Venom dripped from her words. "You're dragon is waking up now, isn't he?"

She flicked her eyes to the side where the big blue ice dragon was beginning to slink forward towards his rider. She trusted Thalas as much as she did Lazarus, which meant not at all. She stepped in front of Cora and Zane slightly.

Thalas snorted, slamming his tail into the sleeping Phoenix. Whether it was on accident or not was yet to be seen as he made his way towards his rider.

[Attn: Kyra]

Lyamir yawned, shifting to butt her massive head against Kyra's torso. She snorted as her rider stumbled back slightly, then shifted to allow Kyra to climb onto her back. The riders were taught exactly where to sit so that they didn't fall off in flight.

Where too, Kyra? She sent to her rider, arching her head back to snort at the scene unfolding behind her. She like Isadeva, but also knew that there were far too many dragon's in the Aviary for Thalas and his rider to do anything. Shaking her head, she unfurled her wings, taking off with three mighty beats of her wings.

Marcus sat on a bench in the courtyard where some of the younger recruits were training their 'fighting' skills. He smiled faintly as the young boys and girls smacked each other with their wooden swords and ran around him. The oldest didn't seem to be older than twelve, but even then they were trying their hardest to impress him. He felt Adela start to stir, and his smile widened.

Adela, half of my soul, come to me. He sent through their link. What would happen when a dragon showed?

Nedria jumps as she is splashed by her grandma. She turns and sees the old woman charging up another spell. “Oh now you want to practice magic. Remember you asked for it.”

Her grandmother takes her shield off her back. "Good now attack me only using your magic, don't worry about hurting me, you aren't the only magic user." She is right about that, grandma has some healing abilities.

Nedria starts by making a lance out of fire, which she throws at Grandma. It is blocked by the shield. "Good now try another, something smaller this time."

Nedria pauses waiting to catch Grandma off guard, this time she made little fire arrows. Not only are they faster, but she can make more of them. Grandma block most of them, but one does graze by her head. "Good job you almost got me that time."

Nedria doesn't stop and quickly hits her with some lightning. Grandma was not prepared and takes the attack full force. Nedria hears her scream and stops her next water attack. "Grandma!!" She races over to check her out. "I am so sorry." Nedria kneels next her her grandmother.

Grandma waits until the perfect moment and springs up, knocking Nedria to the ground. Nedria rolls over pinning grandma to the ground with shards of ice. "Good you are learning. Remember an enemy will fight to it's death."

Luckily the only "enemies" they have dealt with so far is either wild animals going after theirs or bandits. Nedria is not foreign to fighting, but does not like to do it on a regular basis.

She releases her grandmother and helps her up. "Grandma I wish we can stay here for a while. I want to go to town meet some of the people. Have some friends maybe even sleep in a real house."

Grandma puts her arm on her shoulder. "You know what, go ahead and sneak into town today. I will cover for you, just don't be too late. I have the perfect dress for you to wear and everything. Plus I will give you some pocket money."

Nedria's face shines and she hugs her grandmother tightly. "Are you sure? You are the best grandma!!"

Her grandmother smiles. "Come on let's get our chores done."

Cora smiled following after Isadeva looking up around at all of the dragons. There were so many of them. And they were so much bigger than her. She had heard stories of course from her father who had been a rider. She couldn't wait to get her own dragon. She would gladly feed them and care for them. Turning her head when another male came in she watched him cautiously stepping back. Something about him was off. But like her parent had told her she wouldn't judge a book by it's cover.

Lazarus grit his teeth forcing a smile. "High class. Well You're far to ... kind." He said sneering the last word as he looked the recruits over. "And yes this my dragon." He said reaching up to stroke his dragons neck, Smirking as he hit Phoenix biting back a retort.

{Attn: Lyamir, open}

As Lyamir took off from Shadowmount, Kyra lifted her face to the early morning sun and the breeze. This was one moment she allowed herself to relax and enjoy, but she only allowed herself that minute. Even her early morning rides were for work. Let's head to the village and see if we find anyone worth recruiting. They were in desperate need of more riders, especially if seasoned riders kept disappearing. It was her job to train them once they were bonded and learned to ride, so she made sure she handpicked much of the recruits. Kyra was picky about who she trained to fight with her. Letting herself forget about that for a moment, she turned her attention back to Lyamir and her ride.

******************
{Attn: Marcus, open}

Adela huffed as she heard Marcus' call and pushed her way through the other dragons. Lifting off, she followed the call of her rider, smiling to herself when she saw him among playing children. Making an entrance, she roared as she landed, sweeping her wings dramatically so the dust rose. She was pleased with the squeals the children made as she settled her wings and nudged Marcus with her nose. That was fun, may I do it again?

*******************
{Attn: Zane, open}

Gray moved around the nesting area, closer to Isadeva. He liked Isa, she was the only one that was nice to him really. One of the recruits with her caught his attention. As he lumbered past them, he nudged the recruit with his tail, ignoring Lazarus and Thalus. They made Gray nervous and he tried to avoid them as much as possible. He knew that Isa was going to have the recruits feed and care for unbonded dragons and for some reason, he wanted the boy with her to care for him. Making sure to get his attention, he nudged the recruit with his nose and then wandered away.

*******************
{Attn: Syat, open}

Joelle mounted Syat and turned to the group in the nesting area. She could feel the tension among Lazarus and Isadeva, but didn't say anything. It was true that Lazarus was not well liked, but he was a good rider. They couldn't afford to lose any riders just for character flaws. Vowing to speak with him about his attitude, she patted Syat's neck, her signal she was ready to go. I have a bonding ceremony to plan, darling. I'm hoping we get some good, strong pairings out of this one even though its a bit early for many of our recruits. She sighed. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Attn: Gray, Isa, Cora, Laz

Zane listened to Isa with apprehention, apparently, they would be caring for the dragons, that sounded like a GREAT morning...

He sighed and bent down forward, ignoring all the rest of their conversation. Zane dropped his arms and head downwards and just yawned, while making odd grunts and annoyed moans. When suddenly, he was nudged.

Zane sheepishly looked to his side, only with one eye opened, and frowned when he saw what had nudged him. Beside him, stood a white dragon, but... there was something different about him, like, he made him feel fuzzy inside.

This made him wrinkle his noes and frown even more as the Dragon walked away. He stood up straight to see the dragon go back to his nook. ''Huh... well.. I'm gonna... go tend to him over there.'' He said pointing at Gray and tightening his pony tail. He walked of with little steps towards his intregue.

A few moments later, he was standing in front of Gray, scratching his head and still frowning in confusion. ''Yo, i don't understand whats up... but in my books, this fuzzy feeling should only come up for girls.'' he said, shrugging to show that he was at a loss.

He sighed and continued ''Anyway... you hungry big guy?'' he asked, looking around for any food.

[Attn: Soreth, Open]

There was a different kind of calm when one looks at the blue sky full of fluffy clouds and the brightness of the sun. It reminded one of many things, such as hope for a new tomorrow, or the cuteness of those clouds that look like delicious cotton candy. It also brings about dreams of flying through the sky, arms outstretched and the wind whipping through your hair. You shout and holler, basking in the complete freedom of flight, away from the shackles of gravity and rational thinking.

When you're riding atop an elder dragon, that dream becomes more than just reality; it becomes deadly awesome. And Alhaim had more than enough years of living the dream. He's more than a hundred years old, and he started riding dragons in his mid-twenties.

He had always been a traveler at heart, so the prospect of flying on a dragon was truly wonderful to him. After he became a Dragon Rider he immediately volunteered to visit other lands in an attempt to forge or foster diplomatic relations with them. It was a way for him to experience new sights, talk to other people, and taste the local cuisine. Having bonded with a dragon pretty much turned him into a glorified traveler and tourist. The part about diplomatic relations was simply because he was a soldier, and later on, because he was a member of the Council.

In fact, he was on his way back from a meeting with the tribesmen of Regit. They have been particularly and unusually wary of his dragon, and he of them. He had his crossbows at the ready the entire time, but it was actually quite a satisfying experience. The documented minutes of the entire trip was in his satchel strapped to his back, which contained other souvenirs like tiger skin and fermented rice paste.

"Gotta love those tribesmen. They know how to entice the appetite and at the same time kill it," Alhaim said, his rich melodic voice carrying over to the winds. He knew his partner, Soreth, would not actually bother to reply if he could. "Hmm... I wonder if I would develop that nasty habit of talking to oneself after constantly going on these diplomatic missions."

"Nonsense, Al. That would mean you're crazy, but you're not. You make the girls go crazy, not yourself."

"Oh, shut up, you. Who are you to talk to me that way anyway?"

"Me? I am you, dimwit."

"And this is where it all goes downhill. Remind me to take a hearty meal, a jug of cold water and a much-needed bath when we get back to Shadowmount."

"Sure thing, boss," Alhaim said, patting his dragon affectionately on the back. The flight continued on for a couple of hours, and the wanderer found himself drowsing off a bit in intervals. Now Alhaim was a man of great wit and resourcefulness. He can get out of any situation with any means available at his disposal. Bandit raids, dungeon traps, awkward situations, he can get out of them all. And when push comes to shove, he has trusty old marksmanship and magic to fall back on.

So when he suddenly slipped off Soreth's back and started plummeting towards the ground from an altitude of 10 kilometers, he found himself fresh out of ideas. But he wasn't called a Dragon Rider for nothing; the moment he started falling he called on his dragon through the bond they shared, a bond deep within their very souls.

"HEEEEEYY SOREEEEETH!!! SAAAVE MEEEEEEEE!!!" was what he said.

Daiden, Nephenee open

Armenian was none too happy having to rise before the dawn. He loved his sleep and Daiden knew that. Why Daiden would wake him on such occasions Armenian would never understand. If he wanted to go hunting why not go hunting anytime, why so early in the morning?

I shall stay close by you. You know I hate being in this wooded area. It is so hard for me to maneuver like you humans do. Armenian replied back to Daiden. He took a few steps forward and closed his wings. He hated walking and would much rather fly.

Daiden smiled, chuckling softly in reply. He hated to drag his dragon out at this time of day, but honestly...it was more than a hunting trip. He needed to get away. The fact that he was suddenly thrown into a council position because his parents were gone...it was overwhelming. He shifted to rest a hand against Armenian's shoulder as they walked.

"Forgive me, it is one place I can go to think. Away from prying eyes. And away from...anything."

Armenian attempted to open his wings and took a few more steps before putting them away again. Times had been hard sense the death of his parents. Daiden had been placed in a council position without really having a say about it. He shook his head in understanding.

I understand Daiden. I know it has been hard lately for you. At least here you can seek refuge. he stated.

Armenian would hear something. It would sound like something sliding. Maybe a rock slide? But then it would sound like it was picking up massive speed until--
"YEEE--HAAAAAAAAW!!"
A young woman came shooting at him with the speed of an arrow, what looked to be a shield under her feet. She flew at him and brought her feet up, shield slamming into his head with massive impact.
Nephenee rolled as soon as she hit the ground, reducing the impact of her landing, turned, picked up her shield, and with spear in hand charged at the dragon's head.

Armenian roared in pain as his head was hit by a sharp object. He hit the ground with his head and began shaking his head violently as he stretched his wings out. He managed to open his eyes and saw what looked like two women coming at him with spears in their hands. Or was it one woman? He lifted his head and stomped the ground with his front left foot. He then roared at whatever was coming at him.

As Nephenee neared, it stirred. "Oh damn..."

As it roared, she charged forward and whacked it on the nose, then leapt forward, leaping for its neck.

Daiden was momentarily stunned as Armenian's thrashing knocked him into a nearby tree. Shaking his head, he pushed himself back up, drawing his sword to face the attacker. His jaw dropped as he saw the woman bearing down his dragon like he was a common house cat. She was insane. She had to be.

"Are you crazy?" He hissed.

Armenian felt the whack on its nose and for a moment he was stunned. It didn’t hurt but it made him want to laugh. He gained his vision back and realized it was only one woman who was now jumping for his neck. He grinned and as soon as he felt the thump from the woman he looked down at Daiden with a smile.

She must be crazy to want to land on my neck. With that Armenian took off with the woman holding on to his neck.

"Woooooooooooooah!!!"

She cried out as the dragon took to the air, but it was the opportunity she needed. She hadn't expected a full grown fire breed this low in the mountains.

She clung and as one of the higher paths revealed themselves, she flung herself off of the dragon. "Yeeeeeeeeeeehaw!"

She flew through the air, maneuvering her shield under her feet and landing, beginning to slide away. That had been a close call. Grandfather needn't know about this one...

Armenian felt what little weight the woman had been come off of his neck. He turned to see the woman sliding away. All Armenian could do was laugh. He did a flip in the air and turned to face the woman. Daiden follow her tracks. I am going after her.

He looked through the trees looking for the woman until they came to a clearing. It wasn’t big, but just big enough for him to spot her. He gained some speed in his flying until he was right over her. He then dropped from the air and used his talons to pick the woman up by her shirt. He roared so Daiden would hear him.

There was a blur of movement, before something slammed into her. It was Daiden. The rider and the crazy woman went rolling down the hill the rest of the way before finally coming to a stop. He scrambled to his feet, just as Armenian caught up to them.

Step on her! He hissed.

"Son of a bitch!"

Some man had slammed into her. A rapist? Right now? She leapt for him and kneed him in the crotch, then went to stab him. "I'm no easy meat, coward!"

Armenian felt a twinge of pain and roared out. He heard Daidens orders just before the pain set in. He managed to land and put one leg in front of her blocking her path before using his tail to sweep her back in front of him.

Letting out a harsh breath between his teeth, he forced himself to ignore the pain. He caught the woman as Armenian swept her back towards him, wrapping her arms behind her back. He brought his foot up to slam against the bend of her knees forcing her onto the ground.

"Stop!" He called out.

Armenian lowered his head to look at the woman who had almost made a fool out of both him and Daiden. He breathed smoke from his nose and made a low growling like noise at her. Daiden, what will you do with her? She has given us nothing but trouble.

[ATTN: Daiden, Armenian, Nephenee]

Simone pulled her hood up on her cloak, feeling hunger gnawing at her stomach like a feral beast. She'd had no luck finding food yet today. Worst came to worst she'd go into town, but it wasn't a prospect she liked much...

The woods were silent - she was probably the only person within a mile. It was a sobering thought. She wasn't exactly happy with the whole hermit gig, but it was better than alternatives -

She jumped as she heard something roar in the forest, and a few birds nearby leaped into the air and flew off in fright. It was practically enough to make the trees shake. A dragon? Here?

And from the sounds of it, it couldn't be that far off. Simone darted back in the woods, searching for higher ground, and as she climbed she saw it take off, with a small form clinging to it's neck.

The form leaped off of it into the woods, and the dragon wheeled about to chase after it. Her eyes narrowed. Odd that a dragon that size be down here... So a dragon and rider? The person the dragon was attacking couldn't be the rider, where was he?

She hesitated. Didn't care to be found by a rider, but whoever was down there probably needed help. She shifted her grip on her bow, reaching one hand for her quiver as she started to run silently down through the woods after the battle.

Nephenee writhed and twisted and fought. "Let me go, ya coward!" she roared. "You'll rape me at the cost of your chilluns!" She pushed off and kicked backward with the foot he hadn't bent down, flying upward and slamming the back of her head into his face and feeling a satisfying crunch.

"Ya put anythin' near my mouth and I'm bitin' it off!" she growled, trying to struggle free.

Phoenix felt the pain of the blow before she realized what had hit her. She shook herself as she rose. Anger filled her as she glared at the dragon who had hurt her. The ice dragon either didn't realized what he had done or didn't care. She wasn't sure which made her madder. Her sapphire eyes began to glow as the anger continued to grow. She hadn't planned on attacking anyone this morning but the dragon deserved it. With all her mite she lunged herself at the dragon

Nedria's parents returned from their trip to town. The buggy they had full of supplies that will replenish theirs for a while at least. Nedria goes over to them to help unload. "So how is the town?"

Nedria's mother smiles. "The people seem really nice here. I know you want to visit, but please promise me you will not do any magic in town. It is bad enough mother teaches you out here."

Nedria wanted to retaliate and ask why, like she has before. The only answer she ever got from them is 'it is not safe.' After a few years she just stopped asking.

She picks up a sack of rice and looks toward the village. Later she will go there, her parents will be tired after running back and forth. They will probably fall to sleep shortly after unpacking everything. She cannot wait to see what the village has to offer. She gets an extra spring to her step as she walks into their home.

After unpacking Nedria made some lunch for everyone. Sure enough her parents decided to take a nap. She looks at her grandmother who nods and whispers, "Don't worry I will cover, go out and have fun!"

Nedria throws a bag on her back and secures a pouch on coins securely. She had problems in the past with pickpockets, most of which learned their lesson the hard way trying to steal from her. And sets off to the village.

{Atnn: open}

A massive yawn came from the young dragon, Yuzuki the 8 year old Ice dragon slowly lifted her head and looked around, her wings different to most dragons, they looked more like angel wings. She stood up and stretched, looking around, she saw Lyamir she ducked her head slightly as she roared. She leaned against Inra, being a orphan, she always seemed somewhat attached to her.

She lifted her head again to the balcony, she didn't often leave and she wanted to, but she was normally scolded for being mischievous in the ways of getting into trouble. She yawned once more and lay her head down, she closed her eyes, trying to go back to sleep but had a massive urge to cause trouble for someone.

Since the say Al and her met in the mountains, they've been traveling all around the world, doing different task in the name of the Council. They were exactly getting back from a meeting with the Regit tribe. The journey had been nice and as always when they were meeting small tribes, they had been afraid by her.

They were flying above the clounds and the sun was shining on her scales. She could feel the wind caressing her wings. Al started to talk, but it was as alwayss when they were flying, he was talking to himself, and Soreth took the habit to let him talk alone, not wanting to interfere in his conversation. He then became silent, and Soreth figured he fell asleep until she felt Al slipping off her back. He immediatly called for help through their bond. Soreth exhaled, and dived through the air. She passed next to Al and catched him close to the ground. She waited until he was seated well to say through the bond, with a sarcastic tone.

"Next time you want to fly, tell me first okay?"

{ATTN: Open}

Takahiro dressed in his new clothes silently mulled over his made up back story to hide that he was a Koizumi. Name: Hiro Haru, History: Grew up a farmer's child. His parents are both dead and as a mage he decided to sell the farm and head to Shadowmount.

He repeated this in his head several times as he approached the office where he was to announce his arrival. Once there he walked up to the desk and told them his story adding in that he was primarily a water mage but could do other non elemental magic as well though admittedly needed to be taught what to do in that department.

After reassuring him that he would get all the training he needed a small dragon was sent to announce his arrival at Shadowmount. He was then instructed to go and wait at the pick up spot to be taken to the city of the dragons. Gladly he went and waited for a while he got bored and decided to bring some attention to himself by training his water magic.

So he reached out his left arm as he pushed out his magical energy through every pore along it. He watched as the energy turned into water and smiled. He then quickly punched the ground and forced his water deep within the earth until he hit the jackpot.....an underground river. With all his might he sucked the river water up through the hole in the ground and laughed as a small geyser appeared. It was only about two inches in diameter but went about ten feet into the air.

Quickly he cut off the flow of water from the river below and trapped the water above ground and formed it into a small dragon shape. He then had it "fly" to his mouth where he drank his fill and then filled up all three of his water skins. As a water mage he found that drinking lots of water helped him stay strong. Also having water on hand to manipulate instead of having to magically make it eased the burden on his energy levels as well. Now he sat down and waited to see if his little show got the attention of more than just the towns folk of Springfall.

[Attn: Joelle, Syat]

"OOMPH!!" Al felt the hard back of the dragon hit his rather sensitive place as it saved his life. But then compared to being a bloody pancake on the bloody ground, enduring the greatest pain a man could endure sounded like a better fate. "Thanks a lot, Soreth. You really are the best dragon ever!"

Alhaim thought he heard a mental sarcastic huff from his partner, and he was probably right.

"Okay... enough shenanigans and let's head back to Shadowmount quickly. At the pace we're going, it would take us an hour at least until we make landing. So yeah, you have to endure more crazy self-talk. Unless you want to strike up a conversation with me."

Mental silence.

"I thought so," Alhaim chuckled. "To start off our one-on-one conversation, let's review my skills and your skills."

The nomad started to count off on one hand. "So I have dual crossbow skills, proficiency in fire magic, and smashing good looks. That's three, and there's plenty more that I can say, but that's all boring stuff..."

And so the conversation continued for an hour or so, until the duo finally saw the peak of Shadowmount rising up above into the skies. "Well, here we are. Now... wait, is that fellow who I think it is?"

He squinted her eyes, using a hand to shield them from the rising sunlight, and then he saw it; the figure of the prominent Council member atop her majestic steed. "Oh, oh! It is! It's dear old Joelle. What a sight for sore eyes, eh?

"So maybe," a fierce grin lit up his features. "A mother father gentleman like me should give her a proper greeting." With a slight mental prodding, both of them sped towards the lone figure flying in the sky, hoping to give her one greeting she'll never forget. And would probably put him in the infirmary for quite a while.

A loud, yawnlike growl filled the cave. A raging storm was taking place outisde the cave entrance so the sound did not alert any nearby creatures or any other being that would've found it fearfull. The source of this sound was a large ice dragon who had woken up just a few minutes earlier. The name of this dragon, is Bithore.

Bithore who lived alone had recently been contacted by group of people who lived in a place called shadowmount, In that place, there lived people who were able to ride dragons. Bithore, as far as he knew, had been contacted because they had been getting some problems as of late. He had been living alone for a long while so he had been given some thime to think, and he would answer yes by coming there. He had been thinking about it for 2 days when he came to the conclusion htat he would aid them. He had a feeling this would result in him getting a rider but in all honesty, he had grown weary of being alone. Aiding them would also let him meet some of his kin, which he hadn't in many years.

Bithore, who had now finished yawning slowly approached the cave entrance. As he walked, bones of animals he had eaten before, cracked beneath his feet. There were mostly bones belonging to cows and other farm animals, but there were a few wild animal bones spread around.

When he got out of the cave he lifted his head towards the sky. He ignored the storm that was taking place, instead he just stood there and smelled the cold wind. He streched his wings a bit before he got ready to fly. Bithore bent his legs and then, with a powerful jump, launched into the air, and towards shadowmount.

[Attn: Cora, Zane, Laz, Phoenix]

Isadeva smiled slightly as she watched Zane almost immediately jump into interacting with the dragons. She still had a few things to go over with him, but Gray would teach him as well. She instinctively put herself between Cora and Thalas as the ice dragon moved over to stand near his rider. She trusted the dragon as much as she trusted the rider, which was to say, not at all. Out of the corner of her eye she saw movement. Gasping, she barely managed to get out Lazarus' name before the great fire dragon slammed into Thalas' side.

Thalas let out a roar, attempting to twist out of the way so that he didn't land on his rider. Anger exploded through the ice dragon. How DARE the fledgeling attack him. He should have crushed her egg the moment it had been laid. He arched his neck, frost gathering around his maw as he readied an ice blast at Phoenix.

[Attn: Yuzuki]

Inra let out a soft snort, looking down at the young dragon against her side. As one of the eldest here, she had taken on the 'mother' role of the younger dragons. She had yet to lay any eggs of her own, mainly because had yet to have a rider. Most dragon's didn't mate unless bonded. Leaning her head down, she nuzzled her nose against Yuzuki's scales.

Her head jerked up as the fight broke out among Thalas and Phoenix, and low growl rumbled from her chest. She folded her wing around the young dragon, her nostrils flaring as she watched the commotion. She wanted to interfere mainly because of Isadeva and the young fragile ones around her.

[Attn: Simone, Armenian, Neph]

"What?" He asked confusion evident in his expression. Realization dawned on him a moment later, and he let out a breath of disgust.

"I'm not going to rape you, you foolish woman!" He snarled in pain as her head slammed back against his, and he heard that crunch. His eyes teared over in pain, but he quickly blinked the tears away. Gritting his teeth, he forced her onto the ground, stepping back as Armenian moved to place his massive talons over her.

Daiden groaned, reaching up to wipe the blood from his face. "You do realize, that attacking a Rider is punishable by death, do you not?"

Honestly, he wouldn't have been surprised if she hadn't.

[Attn: Adela. Hiro]

No, Adela, he chuckled to his dragon. The children began to gather around the two of them again, gawking at the giant dragon. He allowed them to touch her scales, keeping the dragon under control.

He looked up as he heard a small screech. A drake let out another small screech, landing on his arm as he outstretched it. It rubbed at it's maw with it's clawed foot, then raised it's neck for him to remove the small letter from around it's neck. Tilting his head as he read it, he sent the drake to the feeding area.
"You did good little one, go, eat and rest."

Adela! He called, mounting the dragon. To the village.

[Attn: Kyra, Nedria]

Lyamir snorted softly, nodding her head. Their morning rides were never as they used to be. Once upon a time they did nothing but feel the sun upon her wings, smell the freshness of the air. Now...now they searched. Breaking through the clouds, she let out a roar to frighten off the flock of wild drakes that shared the sky with her. Letting a puff of smoke through her nostrils as they hissed at her. It was fun.

Down below, Nedria was being watched. Watched by a band of thieves. Most were to afraid to steal from this road. The road that led to the village below Shadowmount, but no one ever said they were very smart.

"A young thing like yer self should be wonderin' around out here by yer self," the leader said, stepping out.
