You don't have to be a magic user or a guild member, if you don't wish to be. Additionally, your rank will be of your choosing, so long as you have a viable back story to have good reason for whichever one that you prefer. Guild Ranks are F, D, C, B, A, and S. (F is an unstable, less practiced ability and S is generally a Guild Master.)

- Side Effect Examples:
- Gray has the ability of "Ice Make," which allows him to make solid objects out of ice. However he has a couple side affects/character flaws that are based around his ability: He strips randomly and he has a difficult time with creating small animals or creatures of any kind.
Erza has the ability of "Equip and Requip," which allows her to summon her armor and weapons when needed, rather than carrying them around. However, it costs her a lot of money to purchase each suit of armor and weapon that she owns, as well as to repair them when damaged.
Mila has the ability of "chameleon," which allows her to blend in with her IMMEDIATE surroundings for a set time. However, she cannot change back to her usual appearance for up to three hours and her appearance doesn't shift upon environmental change.
Lucy has the ability of "celestial summons," but she happens to have made a contract with a celestial spirit that hates her guts and occasionally hits her, as well as her enemy with her attacks. Additionally, based on her contracts, some spirits cannot be summoned under certain circumstances or on certain days.
Natsu has the ability of "fire breath," but his power is limited in that he only has so much of his breath ability. When he runs out, he must eat more fire in order to continue to use his magic ability. Additionally, it has to be a "good" fire, because he is rather picky on his fire tastes. Additionally, he has extreme motion sickness and is incapable of using his magic effectively while on a ship, carriage, or horse.
- The Nine Alignments:
- Lawful Good, "Crusader": A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. She combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. She tells the truth, keeps her word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice and hates to see the guilty go unpunished.
Neutral Good, "Benefactor": A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with Kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them.
Chaotic Good, "Rebel": A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard of what others expect of him. He makes is own way, but is kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right, but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which although is good, may not agree with the morals of society.
Lawful Neutral, "Judge": A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and Organization are paramount to her. She may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or she may believe in an order for all, and favor a strong, organized government.
Neutral, "Undecided": A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to law vs. chaos or evil vs. good. Most neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias, rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such characters think of good as better than evil--after all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones.
Chaotic Neutral, "Free Spirit": A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. His actions may be unpredictable, but his actions are not random.
Lawful Evil, "Dominator": A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard of whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order, but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He prefers to rule, but is willing to serve and condemns others not according to their actions, but to their race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises.
Neutral Evil, "Malefactor": A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple. She sheds no tears for those she kills, whether for sport, profit, or convenience. She holds no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make her any better or more noble.
Chaotic Evil, "Destroyer": A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is out for simply whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized.

Appearance: Height 5' 6", Weight 78-110 lbs (dependant on her physical state), Blood Red Hair that is straight, unkempt, and goes down to her knees, Crystal Blue Eyes, Pale milky white skin (when it hasn't rotted away). And Oh yeah.... She resembles a walking corpse most of the time. Usually seen wearing a rag tunic.
Home Country: Holstein Kingdom, Currently Gir'ratown.
Occupation (if any): Homeless, Thief.
Combat Skills: Scratching, Biting, and quite the competent stick sword fighter, or at least, in her exclusive stick fighters guild she is. She doesn't really have a talented trainer for that. She's just self trained. Except for in scratching and biting, where she has undergone years of extensive training in the fine art under her teacher, Sir Coaltar.
Magic Ability: Rejuvenation- Fully regenerates and restores the weilders body as a passive magical ability. When her body reaches a certain point of unsustainable damage, this ability auto functions, restoring everything cell by cell at an incredibly fast rate. As a result, she cannot be killed unless completely disintegrated. Regeneration takes a lot of magic, but this ability causes the user to gather and store an unlimited magic pool over time, and should the user's body be destroyed multiple times to the point of magic exhaustion, the regeneration will still take effect, although at a much slower pace (as long as it takes to regain said magic, if necessary). When the magic for this power manifests, it restores the user's cells to peak health, giving them a vibrant, almost glowing, look. Unfortunately though, this ability also causes these cells to be more temporary than a normal humans, and the user's body is reduced from it's rejuvenated form, to that of a rotting corpse-like state in a matter of days. The state will not go away until the next rejuvenation cycle (which cannot be forced by the user as far as what is known).
History/Back Story: The Linelliese family was at one time known as a wealthy aristocratic clan, infamous at that for their mob like 'contributions' to society. They were high class thieves, and were known to stop at nothing to acquire a new business or piece of land they were interested in. They ran a tight operation for a good number of years, and with much success, largely through the incredible leadership of Lady Gael Linelliese. Gael was a cruel woman who demanded results. She was not the kind of person anyone wanted to have upset with them, and didn't hesitate to abuse her own family members. Even they considered themselves lucky by comparison though, for anyone who dared cross Lady Gael simply ceased to exist, often along with any family they had.
It was amazing to many just how long her third 'husband' [by legal means alone] was allowed to stay part of the family. He bore her a child and she stuck with him, choosing to keep the child. Rockett grew up with many luxuries, and wasn't often subject to physical abuse, but was instead ignored. She was kept away largely from the outside world, and watched her father, who did actually try to take care of her at first, undergo much abuse by her mother, and become extremely depressed, resorting to alcohol and physically abusing his once beloved daughter. He changed into a different person altogether: a hateful and angry man. Beating his daughter became his only outlet, and the abuse became worse as the days went by.
As he became dangerously close to ending his own life, he instead decided a different route and hired an assassin to kill his wife. Assassins were nothing new to Lady Gael. Many attempts had been made on her life before, and this would have been no exception, except that this time, due to inside information from her then husband, the assassin had the upper hand. But killing Lady Gael wasn't actually the only thing on his list, as he actually represented a group who had first hired him to erradicate the entire clan. He was only one of a larger group, and with a plan formed the assains set out to purge the world of the Linelliese family in one night.
For most of the group, the plan went off almost too perfectly. All that was left was for the assassin hired by Rockett's father himself, who started by killing the father then moving on through the household in the middle of the night to find the last remaining members of the clan. Rockett and Lady Gael, herself.
Sure of his victory, the assassin captured Rockett and brought her before Lady Gael, as to make her watch her only child be killed in front of her. It was the ultimate revenge against everything she had done, or so the assassins thought, as he held a dagger at the terrified little girl's neck.
"Go ahead, do it, you're all already dead, and that child is nothing but a burden to me..." Gael replied.
In a blind rage the assassin used all his might, outright decapitating the 8 year old girl.
Rockett woke up to a bright, overcast morning. Despite having slept on a pile of wooden planks and other various bits of rubble, she felt better than she had ever felt in her life. Sure, her house was gone and orphanages didn't sound fun, but at least she would never have to see mom again. Some sort of magic must have protected her, but she wasn't sure where it came from. There wasn't anyone else here, and she had never known of any magical abilities she might have, other than the ability to have friends no one else could see at least...
She wasn't sure why she felt such a way, but things just felt better. A weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Life was new and exciting. She could finally see the outside world.
She was quickly put into an orphanage, which she found she didn't much cared for, and a few years later, decided to escape and start trying to make her own way, with the help of her only friend she had made at the orphanage.
His name was Sir Coaltar, and he was a knight and great teacher who Rockett learned many things from in the alleyway beside the orphanage. It was the obvious choice to follow him when he called Rockett to leave the orphanage and instead follow him. While he taught her a great many things about the world, Rockett felt she needed to make a name for herself, and found that she admired the noble deeds of the surrounding guilds. Coaltar was of no guild allegiance himself, unfortunately, but encouraged her to follow her dream of joining a guild and even suggested she try Quinnsentera, for he felt it was a guild fitting of such a beautiful and elegant young lady as Rockett. Rockett agreed, but refused to join without him by her side. He had helped her learned so much after all, and was like a father figure to her. Besides that, she always felt luck was slightly more in her favor when Sir Coaltar was around.

Appearance: Quite slender and mysterious, yet rather short in stature. Black Hair. Wears an all black coat that completely covers his body. Has yellow eyes that seem to almost glow in the dark. Rockett has always wondered where he got such a stylish top hat, but that's a secret he has yet to tell her.
Home Country: Holstein Kingdom, Currently Gir'ratown.
Occupation (if any): Was at one time believed to have been a knight, but now makes a living through thievery, and teaching others his sneaky talents he has aquired over the years.
Combat Skills: Has sharp, claw-like weaponry he is quite proficient in using. Strangely also promotes biting as a worthy defense mechanism. Rockett notes that his means of fighting seems quite... exotic.. compared to other knights she has ever seen before.
Magic Ability: Good/Bad Luck- The king of double-edged sword magic abilities, causes extremely odd coincidences to happen around Sir Coaltar at seemingly random intervals. However, when they happen is somewhat controllable by the user, WHAT effect it has at any given time is a wild card. That said, it hasn't yet caused Coaltar himself extreme injury or death thus far, but the extent of the ability is unknown at this particular point. UPDATE: Micro-Probabilty Coaltar actually has now found that he can tell what objects his luck magic is set to manipulate, giving him far more control over the power. He can also choose to target certain objects that are potentially close to one movement over another, if only to change the odds. An example would be changing which marble is pulled from a bag of colored marbles, or whether an object positioned on the edge of something will fall, or not. While the first power is completely random, but has the power to cause things far less likely, this power can only be use upon objects on the 'verge' of a deciding factor.
Non-Combative Skills/Hobbies: Teaching, scavenging, thievery, sneaking, pickpocketing, climbing, roof running, playing hide and seek, hunting and eating small game, staring off into space, and playing with Rockett.

He is of very few words, and while he loves teaching Rockett, he prefers to teach by example rather than tell her what to do. He took pity on the girl's sad life, and though he didn't have much, decided to do what he could to provide for her, and teach her to provide for herself. His dark and mysterious past is of no concern to Rockett, who says she doesn't care what he used to be. It's who he is now that really counts. =3

- Extra Little Details:
- Additionally, as a side effect, the rejuventation process itselfs quickly encapsulates her in a blinding, explosive kinetic pulse, which can serve as an effective counter attack upon what would normally be considered a death blow. The pulse wave causes an extreme knock-back, which is about a 30 ft radius on average, but can be slightly stronger or weaker depending on the strength of the final blow.
New developments in this ability which are thus far unknown to her are to be revealed in the Role Play (pre-approved by Leah ) after later events take place. I will update this slot in my abilities when they develop in the RP!

History/Back Story: Char knew Rodimus since he was a child since both of their parents were friends. Char treated Rodimus as a big role model and followed the boy wherever he went. Rodimus chose Char to be the first one to witness his powers, and the child grew eager to get powers of his own. That's when he set out to grow strong, like Rodimus, through whatever he could find. At the time, he found a dojo and an archery school. Knowing that he had no magical powers of his own pushed Char to work harder than any of the other students in his classes. History/Back Story: Chiron was born to a fairly wealthy family that was involved in the local government. He didn't have a much exposure to magic users due to living in a part of the kingdom that was scarcely populated by them. Chiron was rather smart for his age, getting excellent scores in his English and Science classes. His intellect powered his expansive curiosity of the world as well as fueling his ego.
Chiron's abilities didn't emerge until his mid-teens. Every so often, whenever a person was within view, Chiron had visions of muscles and connective tissue under the person's skin. Chiron was unsure if he had received magical abilities and he was afraid of how his parents would react, so he kept his ability to himself for a year, after which, the visions grew more intense. Chiron could see organs and bones whenever a human body came into view. Whenever Chiron squinted, his vision ability would activate. The visions became so disruptive that Chiron became reclusive, trying to understand why he was given such a curse, and how to control it.
Chiron continued to excel in school once he dedicated himself to making his visions work for him instead of against him. He spent every few evenings walking around the public area, harnessing his power. He decided early on to become a doctor and to figure out how humans gain magical abilities. Around Chiron's 20's, he was already working at a nearby hospital, where he gained control of his vision, as well as discovering his second ability. With the same passion, Chiron worked to understand his tactile ability, leading him to become a well adjusted nurse, then doctor. Chiron spent much of his life studying the human body while working as a medic at the Sheherazade guild. He garnered worldwide fame for his studies, becoming one of the top physicians at the time.
While working at Sheherazade, he had one secretive project where he tried to fulfill his goal of finding the origin of magical powers. He spent two years running tests of human subjects, using his own abilities to their furthest extent. One strange red-eyed girl crossed his path, who then became one of his most active assistants. Chiron was confidant the girl would be a fantastic healer, or even a nurse by the end of the study, but she departed with a vague description of her future plans. The results of the study were inconclusive, so Chiron let go of his goal and focused the rest of his life on his guild.
Chiron met Ryushi when he was going about his weekly chores throughout the market. He came across Ryushi, who had looked like he just fought someone. Nobody seemed to take care of him, so Chiron cleaned the young man up with his emergency medical kit, all the while introducing himself and coming across as very friendly. Chiron could tell that Ryushi was troubled and had a hard time opening up to new people, so Chiron offered to help Ryushi whenever he needed medical attention. Down the road, the two became very good friends, and so, Chiron left Sheherazade to join White Cross as soon as he heard of its founding.

All personalities last 24 hours or until a new weapon is summoned, which ever happens first. She can also re-summon the weapon to her hand as long as it's not destroyed.

History/Back Story: She doesn't really talk much about her past, not everyone knows if she even has a last name. She showed up wanting to join Infinity Edge one day. What people do know about her is that she is generally by herself. While alone she will draw up and or jot down plans for a new weapon design, and when she gets the chance to, she will test out the creation. Most of her money comes from the weapons she makes and sells. They are usually top notch creations and sell for a good price. She has her own weapon shop that she uses and sells weapons from called "The Weapon Builder". When she isn't around and is doing a job, her staff members will sell what she has in stock at the time, till she gets back to make more. Otherwise is they ask for a weapon of their own design, if it's simple enough her lackeys will do it when she is gone. Or if she gives it one of them to practice. On harder requests she will personally build it. No matter what her personality is at the time people will always catch her talking to herself about weapons and her latest design.

A brilliant if unconventional tactician, he enjoys outwitting and outmaneuvering his opponents on all fronts. History/Back Story: Born to a poor family; Eskel was singled out as a paragon of talent and athletic supremacy. Since that day, he's seldom had contact with his family; continuing to send them money without a second thought. History/Back Story: Born to a prostitute of The Golden Cat, Zoe spent her youth surrounded by less than savory foot traffic. Her mother barely made time for her, so the other women of the brothel took on the role of 'surrogate mothers', each teaching her what they could. When she first picked up a brush, they encouraged her pursuits, getting cloth they didn't need anymore, swiping paper off the streets for her to draw on.
As she got older, she in turn became a caretaker for them, nursing their bruises, washing the sheets, carrying them back to their rooms when clients drunk them under a table, nursing them back to health when they were sick.
She barely even noticed when her mother died; 'Plague' they said it was. She felt a hollowed out place inside her where her mother should have resided begin to close the moment they put her body in coffin destined to be pushed off to sea.
Later in life, she met the young Lady Juliette Napolitano, or 'July' as she enjoyed being called. The ladies of the brothel called the young girl 'Tien-Tien', a Karnacan dumpling- and treated her with all the love they had shown her in her youth. Zoe taught the girl how to paint, showing her everything she knew; in time she saw the girl blossom into an equally as talented artist.
With recent goings on in Karnaca, she has had to lay low; though in some alleyways you can still see her colorful art adorning the blood smattered walls.

It's in those hard time that Ryushi had found her asking why she was drawing those circles, apparently he had been guided by spirits toward her since spirits were also complaining about this situation. When he learned of her situation he mentioned his powers and said he would help her no matter what happened. Working together they managed to seal the spirit into a mirror, but it had not been an easy job and Ryushi had to rest for a full two days after considering he had used up almost all of his spirit energy. Seeing how the young man was always fighting alone, she thought she would help him out from now on to repay her debt to him, but also to help him as a friend.

Valentino was surprised to learn about Ryushi's ability as well as his way of thoughts. Although he was mostly neutral, he thought it could be beneficial to follow him for if they ever had to fight something more evil. Not only that, but.... to watch his friend closely as well...but somehow that friend of his wasn't as friendly as she seemed. The one and only time he got close to Amelia's bubble, he was almost sliced in two. That was still part of her charm to him. History/Back Story: Several years ago, Zedd was a ghost--a simple spirit that was lost and alone and left wondering why and how it remained in the realm of the living. Eventually, he made a mortal friend when a young man was able to see and speak with him. It was unexpected and frightening, at first, as well as an experience that taught him more about himself. Unbeknownst to him, Zedd had been going mad over the years of his haunting, mad from the constant silence and loneliness of the Spirit Realm with its insanely nonsensical landscapes and strange, constant sounds.
Ryushi slowly helped him as time passed, assisting in overcoming that madness with conversation and the willingness to put up with his rambling, even when it went off topic and sometimes sounded as insane as Zedd sometimes felt. When Ryushi made plans to create a Guild, Zedd knew he would haunt the temple that his friend planned to build--it was the first goal that he had ever made for himself since his own mortal death. (That he could recall, anyway.)
A year later, a Guild member joined that manage to cast a spell upon some armor and clothing as a gift to him when she learned about Zedd--it took the young lady several months (almost a year) of work and concentration to make just this one armor, imbued with magic that pulled his soul into it and kept his possession permanent. Of course, she did warn that if anything should happen to the armor, he will again become an invisible spirit to the mortal realm. However, with his armor, Zedd has found the ability to interact and even speak with those that are the living, as well as fight clumsily with the armor he possess.

History/Back Story: Several years ago, Zedd was a ghost--a simple spirit that was lost and alone and left wondering why and how it remained in the realm of the living. Eventually, he made a mortal friend when a young man was able to see and speak with him. It was unexpected and frightening, at first, as well as an experience that taught him more about himself. Unbeknownst to him, Zedd had been going mad over the years of his haunting, mad from the constant silence and loneliness of the Spirit Realm with its insanely nonsensical landscapes and strange, constant sounds.
Ryushi slowly helped him as time passed, assisting in overcoming that madness with conversation and the willingness to put up with his rambling, even when it went off topic and sometimes sounded as insane as Zedd sometimes felt. When Ryushi made plans to create a Guild, Zedd knew he would haunt the temple that his friend planned to build--it was the first goal that he had ever made for himself since his own mortal death. (That he could recall, anyway.)
A year later, a Guild member joined that manage to cast a spell upon some armor and clothing as a gift to him when she learned about Zedd--it took the young lady several months (almost a year) of work and concentration to make just this one armor, imbued with magic that pulled his soul into it and kept his possession permanent. Of course, she did warn that if anything should happen to the armor, he will again become an invisible spirit to the mortal realm. However, with his armor, Zedd has found the ability to interact and even speak with those that are the living, as well as fight clumsily with the armor he possess.

History/Back Story: Born to a lesser known noble family, Lady Vera was married off to Lord Othello of House Napolitano to elevate her family's status. Groomed for the life of a married woman; she took care of her husbands unwanted affairs without a word. Even though she is rumored to have been an 'unwilling participant' in the marriage, she claims she quickly grew to love Othello, as grim and duty bound as he might have been.
After the death of her husband and the quick departure of her two children, it is said that Lady Pirmaveria locked herself away in The Rookery; barely contacting the outside world. For years it remained this way, until Luca, son of the Duke, took it upon himself to visit her in her nestled away mansion. Since then, she has been the picture of high society; and, with help from the Grand Inventor, has sought about rebuilding her house.

His magical ability 'Singularity' allows him to create conscious technical marvels. He imbues pieces of himself into everything he creates, enabling them to operate on magic. These pieces can range from memories, to emotions, to affections. The entire city's infrastructure is made possible by his magical contributions, a fact he doesn't hesitate to remind people of.
Non-Combative Skills/Hobbies: An expert inventor and veritable genius, Luca spends his days tinkering in his mansion and attending social functions hosted by other noble families. It is not at all uncommon to see him riding the carriage ways and, as of recently, holding meetings with Lady Napolitano at her mansion.
History/Back Story: Born to a common family in the Vineyards of Karnaca, Luca was a young, mud-stained boy like many others across the islands fertile slopes. The same brown, curly hair, olive skin and deep, warming laugh; but what was different about Luca was his mind. A brain capable of shaping an age. Of course, his potential might never have been realized had his youth remained a happy one.
His parents died out in a boating accident hosted in honor of a promotion his father had just received. A storm hit, and all their relatives and guests were sentenced to a watery death, dashed across the rocks of the coast. Luca was taken in by the owner of the vineyard, who sent him off to The Academy Of Science's when he realized Luca's potential. Luca's technological feats were a marvel, especially from such a young mind. He quickly caught the attention of Duke Vici, who, without a grand inventor or an heir, quickly selected him to fill both roles.
Luca was once a kind, loving, compassionate boy; afraid of the sea, who loved the scent of lilies. But, as years in the dukes employ passed, and the need for advancement and his magic grew; he became bitter, cruel, with the empathy of a mantis. Those who work for him fear him, and those below him grovel at his feet as to try to escape his ire.
He remains indispensable as the Inventor Of The Isle's; but he no longer walks the gardens anymore, and he no longer leaves his mansion to walk among the people.

History/Back Story: Born to the prodigal house of Teckhara, the expectations placed upon her were very similar to that of the women before her. She was expected to curtsey, bat her eyelashes at men, play the harp and fifty other 'insufferable' hobbies; and to willingly marry whatever moron her family picked out for her. She found repose in the company of Lady Calpernia Medicci, just a few years her junior, and was content to pass the days with her, sipping wine and shirking the company of their families.
Until one day her family revealed to her she was to marry a bloated noble from a lower house for a handsome sum. Had she gone through with it; it would have ended with a midnight jump into an icy river, but Antiope had always been one to think around her problems. She raised her family a wager, and they had always been gamblers; if she won the Grand Fencing Tourney she wouldn't have to marry this, or any other strange nobleman that came careening to their door. Her parents, thinking the mere insinuation she could win hilarious, took her up on the wager.
Weeks passed, bouts were won, and soon Antiope stood on stage with a trophy in one arm and her rapier in the other. Her family, true to their word, never tried to force her into marriage again; though family relations have been strained ever since.

History/Back Story: The very picture of what a noble lady should be, the Lady Calpernia was doted on by her family, groomed to be the picture of success. Unlike the Teckhara's or the Napolitano's, her family did not attempt to shove her into marriage at a young age; preferring to wait until she was older so she could court whatever lord caught her eye on her own. As such she has enjoyed a far happier upbringing. Though, sadly, with the Medicci's status as traders and travelers, she was, more often than not, left alone in her estate with various nannies and bodyguards. She found a friend in the Lady Antiope, and the two became nigh inseparable; finding joy in the others company.
While she is aware of the unrest in Karnaca, she is much too nervous and unsure to see how she can do anything about it.

He claims that one day he will be accepted into the Academy Of Sciences; few outside of his sister, Calpernia, believe in him.
History/Back Story: The youngest son to the main branch of the Medicci family, argent enjoyed a spoiled life as the family's 'baby'. Spoiled by his father and doted on by his mother, Argent had to ask for nothing growing up. His sister, Calpernia, always making time for her dearest brother. He loves days spent indoors, hunched over his desk; and, if left to his own devices, seldom sees sunlight. He has always been one to develop unhealthy obsessions and fixations; on topics, people, objects, ideas, and only humiliating, abysmal failure can drag him from the depths of it- at which time he is often engulfed by tragic sorrow. His frequent wild tears of flights of fancy do nothing to deter him, however, and he is frequently off and onto his next obsession.

He has dabbled in the hobby himself, and though he refuses to be commissioned, he is considered to be one of the most skilled painters in Karnaca.
History/Back Story: Gervais is a man of talent and mystery. He seldom leaves his home, never allows his face to be photographed, and refuses to sit for portraits of any kind. That and his mysterious appearance on the isle, as if out of thin air, has many speculating where he even came from. Gervais, himself, is a rather amiable houseguest, if not rather taciturn and flat, on occasion. If he does not wish to speak, he will not speak, though he will observe all correct signals of etiquette and manners. On the rare occasions he leaves his house he visits the Duke's estate, disappearing into the gilded gates for hours on end. Some speculate that he is the Duke's lover, or is positioning himself to take the throne for himself. Both unpopular, wild notions. For now, Gervais remains one of the biggest mysteries, and unknowns, in Karnaca.

This varies from small tools to fully grown adult humans. Copies initially appear only as how the source appeared at the time of drawing. Each copy is made out of a malleable black energy that can change its form, stretch, or partially separate by Catherine's will, but one copy cannot multiply into more. Therefore, multiple copies require multiple drawings. Copies share the same weight, size, and durability of their originals.
Copies follow one of 4 directives at a time:Attack, defend, standby, custom. They can switch directives at any time and separate copies can follow different directives until a new directive is ordered. While under the Custom directive, a copy will follow a specific set of actions Conceived by Catherine. The number of copies is limited to their size; only a few copies as large as a horse can be summoned, a handfull of copies as large as a human can be summoned, followed by a dozen dog sized, and a few dozen smaller objects. A hundred objects insect sized can be summoned but they usually only follow one directive all together. All copies are desummoned as a mist 10 minutes after spawning. Any force strong enough to deform or pierce the summon will also cause it to despawn. Any copies summoned cannot be desummoned by will.

Catherine was a polite girl, but she couldn't make a single friend out of anyone she met. Even her older siblings had a hard time conversing with her because she'd either act disinterested in the conversation or speak in a flagrantly honest manner. She couldn't count the times she was disciplined for the children she hurt verbally. But Catherine's troubles never ended there; she also had a schizophrenic apathy to human emotion and social interaction that led her to view people as merely the bodies they have. She gained an appreciation of nature and the human body through school, which propelled her into medical studies. Seeing the human body the same way an engineer saw a machine, she decided to become a surgeon, fixing broken bodies as her trade. Despite her lacking mental and social health, she was a grade A student and fantastic doctor. Her parents saw her doing well, so they assumed everything was alright with her.
Her powers developed at an early age, allowing her to create her own "friends" where she could never make any human ones. They served as her comfort whenever she was bullied, her companions during escapades into the wilderness, and peers to share her feelings with. She essentially made a replacement for any human interaction one would normally have. Catherine's powers grew as she did, allowing her to make her own partners during surgery operations, although she was still forced to use the nurses that were staffed at the hospital. Early in her career, Catherine came across Chiron O'Malley, arguably the only person in the world that mattered to her. Fanatic to learn from the best, she hastily transferred from her previous hospital to the Sheherazade guild hospital to work beside him. She soon took on the role of Chiron's assistant after showing her promise during one garish outbreak of a superflu. Naturally, she followed Chiron to White Cross, where she mainly runs menial tasks and works as a nurse, but every White Cross member tries their best not to get sick or injured just to avoid Catherine's glare. Still, nobody can repair a body as efficiently as her.

History/Back Story: Gale was cursed at the age of 8 by a dark wizard. His only crime being his father's son, Bolt Flugen, beloved friend and guild member. The curse made him unable to feel Joy or Fear, designed specifically to ensure Gale would never move on, his heart would from then on contemplate only grief and vengeance. He left Carter's Town to seek out the wizard, eventually joining the Infinite Edge, their he learned to fight and work. Learning of Dark Ascension's predisposition to malignancy, Gale believes his quarry lies among them, protected by like minds and the guild laws. He is growing weary of the cycle of rage and grief, making him inpatient to learn stronger magics, and face the dark guild.
Personality: Gruff, impatient, and loyal. His halved-heart makes him distant and sometimes cruel, a handicap he often tries to offset with insincere kindness. He is aware that he should feel for his fellow guild mates, often when they have suffered he'll find himself genuinely saddened on their behalf, the only real evidence he has of their ties. Despite all this he tries his hardest for those who show interest in befriending him.

That was shattered, however, when poachers noticed his ability and tried to force him to use it to call a rare beast that roamed the forest. When he refused, they laid waste to the forest near his home. His mother revealed the magic she had been teaching him had a combat side to it when she used it to attack their oppressors. Sadly, though they succeeded in defeating the poachers, both his mother and father died in the ensuing forest fire. The happy-go-lucky boy died that day, withdrawing into himself.
Alone and now homeless, he began wandering the world alone, using his music to earn the coin he needed.

Combat Skills/Magic Ability (if any):Matchalaster is a master of ritual spell casting, with a bell, book, and candle he can banish the most ornery of demons and break powerful enchantments. However, he has no combative skills, nor the instinct for reflexive casting. His Eidolon Fem makes up for this. She is capable of powerful feats of telekinesis..... with books, paper, and writing tools. For some reason, Fim cannot manipulate any other form of matter. Which is fine for Matchalaster in the confines of Rhodes' quaint library, however, it limits his ability to aid the needy as he wants.

History/Back Story: Matchalaster, or Mat as his guildmates call him, is a wizard of the book, but he never saw himself that way, growing up on fairy tales and fantastical legend, he always envisioned himself as a hero, or knight in shining armor. When he grew old enough to join the Rhodes guild he siezed the opportunity, impressing his superiors with his technicall prowess and understanding of magics. However, in the days that followed, he found himself falling behind his guildmates, he could not adapt his knowledge to the fast pace of combat and catastrophes. Desperate to break this mold He summoned a powerful eidolon capable of turning an entire library into a lethal vortex, but Mat soon learned his new companion Fim could do little else. Without paper, quills, or even ink, the eidolon can do little more than peck. She is, however, a very wise eidolon and taught Mat to be confident in his strengths. They share a close bond only broken by the most important of matters, for instance, who get to read a new book first or what syatem of organization the library should use.

History/Back Story: Several years ago, Zedd was a ghost--a simple spirit that was lost and alone and left wondering why and how it remained in the realm of the living. Eventually, he made a mortal friend when a young man was able to see and speak with him. It was unexpected and frightening, at first, as well as an experience that taught him more about himself. Unbeknownst to him, Zedd had been going mad over the years of his haunting, mad from the constant silence and loneliness of the Spirit Realm with its insanely nonsensical landscapes and strange, constant sounds.
Ryushi slowly helped him as time passed, assisting in overcoming that madness with conversation and the willingness to put up with his rambling, even when it went off topic and sometimes sounded as insane as Zedd sometimes felt. When Ryushi made plans to create a Guild, Zedd knew he would haunt the temple that his friend planned to build--it was the first goal that he had ever made for himself since his own mortal death. (That he could recall, anyway.)
A year later, a Guild member joined that manage to cast a spell upon some armor and clothing as a gift to him when she learned about Zedd--it took the young lady several months (almost a year) of work and concentration to make just this one armor, imbued with magic that pulled his soul into it and kept his possession permanent. Of course, she did warn that if anything should happen to the armor, he will again become an invisible spirit to the mortal realm. However, with his armor, Zedd has found the ability to interact and even speak with those that are the living, as well as fight clumsily with the armor he possess.

Appearance: Dopple's body is composed of green slime and can change in appearance, normally ranging from childlike to somewhere in it's twenties. It can take any gender appearance though it typically dons a female one due to the Moe factor. Sometimes Dopple will eschew a human approach and instead just appear as a green slime, though much larger than most such monsters found in the wild. She often appears in bright ninja stylized clothes, though she gets sulky when she ruins actual clothes fighting. Sometimes instead she'll just try and mimic them instead using her slime, especially if she knows she is going to get into fights.

Combat Skills: Dopple is a trained hunter and ninja. She is proficient with numerous weapons and ninja tools but prefers traps and ambushes. Due to the physical nature of her slime body she can utilize a number or bizarre or impossible techniques that normal humans could not. When mimicking someone Dopple copies their fighting styles and techniques with uncanny similarity.
Magic Ability #1:
- Slimebody:
- This ability is exactly what it sounds like, Dopple's body is just like that of a slime. It is amorphous but can harden almost as hard as stone. It can change colors to slightly to blend but not perfectly blend in with it's surroundings unless there isn't much detail to match such as being against a stone wall. Because Dopple's body is composed of slime, Dopple is nearly immune to purely physical attacks as most pass right through It's body. Though practically immune to physical attacks, elemental attacks pose far more risk than normal. Fire can evaporate Dopple's body, quickly reducing It's size and stamina. Ice attacks cause Dopple to thicken and can even freeze It's body allowing parts to removed or shattered and increasing it's vulnerability to physical harm. Lightning can evaporate Dopple's body similar to fire while also paralyzing it. Water and Acid type attacks seem to have little effect except increasing Dopple's size and even allowing It to split off smaller temporary slimes that can last for several minutes. Dopple can eat and consume almost any organic matter with little harm or risk to It's health, even those that are toxic or poisonous. Dopple can also take things into and out of her body without harming them if she chooses, though this works best with things that aren't food. If she wants to she can even move them around or shoot them out of her body.
Magic Ability #2:
- Mimicry:
- Up to an hour after touching a creature (slime to body contact, clothes/armor/gear doesn't count) Dopple can become a functionally identical mirror of that creature including any worn or carried equipment. Memories and even magic are copied allowing Dopple to use the same skills and tactics that the copied creature can. If Dopple receives a normally fatal wound It will revert immediately to It's slime body, weakened but alive. However it comes with major limitations:
- The copied magic power can't exceed Dopple's rank, so certain mages will still be significantly stronger than Dopple. Certain magics can't be copied, determined by the RPH/RPM, good examples include: Sylmeria's Valkyrie magic, Ilyana's Archangel contract magic, Nymeria's blood magic, and magics that contract or summon magical creatures.
- Dopple can only maintain the given creatures form for an hour or two at most.
- Using magic gained from mimicry or suffering serious injuries quickly shortens how long Dopple can maintain It's Mimicry. This can sometimes reduce the remaining time to even to a few minutes at most.
- Dopple can only maintain the form while awake.
- Dopple doesn't know what skills or magic a creature has until It mimics a creature, in other words just touching a creature doesn't give Dopple insight into that creature.
- Gear/Equipment that are thrown, disarmed, or lost revert to slime after a minute. Dopple can not later pick them up and revert them back into their previous shape.
- Cutting or injuring Dopple causes slime to leak from the injuries rather than blood.
- Dopple can not retrieve, or use any items or things that she absorbed into her slimebody while Mimicking anything. She can however still mimic creature even while storing things.
- Mimicry only allows Dopple to mimic a creature a single time. Afterwards she must touch the creature again to mimic it again.
- The copied magic power can't exceed Dopple's rank, so certain mages will still be significantly stronger than Dopple. Certain magics can't be copied, determined by the RPH/RPM, good examples include: Sylmeria's Valkyrie magic, Ilyana's Archangel contract magic, Nymeria's blood magic, and magics that contract or summon magical creatures.

History/Back Story:
- A little something of a history of a Slimegirl:
- Dopple was born as a puddle of jiggling goo. It totally freaked out the midwifes as well as Dopple's parents. Lucky for Dopple, her mother knew it was her baby and just couldn't part with it. Unlucky for Dopple's mom, this choice caused a rift between her and her husband who thought Dopple wasn't his or worse that his wife was some sick freak into some seriously questionable after night activities. He just couldn't wrap his head around it and eventually left his wife and child. Shortly after his leaving less than a year after Dopple was born, Dopple was finally able to take on a more human form like that of her mother, and finally Dopple was given her name Mizuria.
After this scandal her Mother Julia took her 'daughter' with her and moved in with her brother whom welcomed his sister and his new niece into his home rather than leave them into eventual poverty. The truth was that Julia always wanted to believe that her husband would come back, but her brother had made it rather clear that he wasn't going to abandon his little sister cause some deadbeat couldn't accept his baby and ran away with his tail between his legs rather than doing his duty as a father.
Unperturbed by little Mizuria who kept trying to change it's little body and face every time she met new people, he helped his sister raise her daughter. She started to grow quickly and by 3 Mizuria was already the size of many adults, but had the personality and mind of child. And by the age of 4 she was able to display the same power to copy a persons appearance as her father possessed. This confirmed that Mizuria was in fact his daughter, but by that point no one knew where or what had happened to him.
Though her Uncle Kembin was a hunter by trade, many of the Kubumri villagers' ancestors where shinobi and some of the techniques and practices had been passed down and preserved. These Kembin and Julia tried to teach the little slime girl, partly to preserve old traditions and partly to make sure that Mizuria would be able to keep herself safe from anyone wishing to pick on her. Luckily most of the villagers where accepting or at least tolerant enough not to ostracize the not-so little child. Although Mizuria ranked practically at the top of weird things they had ever encountered, the world was one that such things were possible and not completely impossible.
Kembin managed to convince his sister that Mizuria shouldn't be kept isolated from the village as much as Julia desired, eventually getting her to concede to allowing Mizuria to spend time with several other families whom had only one or no children in a kind of combination bonding and apprenticeship. This helped Mizuria learn to be more normal, and make lots of friends, as well as building friendships between the families.
This went on for many years and Mizuria became a sort of local idol to Kubumri Village and when word came out that a new guild was going to set up roots in the Mohari Mountains, of course the first person that came to mind to join it was Mizuria. Oh course at first it was just an idle fancy, but eventually once more concrete word got around as to the nature of this new guild, Mizuria totally wanted to see it for herself and give it a shot. Led in my the surface ideals of Dark Ascension, Mizuria joined and found herself almost a second family. Sure most of them came from troubled pasts and where of a dubious nature, but DA was a respectable guild that harshly shut down their lawless natures, at least that is what it looked like on the surface.
When word came about that DA was going to participate in the Guildgames just a year ago, Mizuria (now known as Dopple which was short for Doppleganger) fought tooth and nail to join the team. Although she was listed as a reserve member, had completed numerous quests and just promoted to B rank, she ended up being nothing more than a glorified cheerleader. This was annoying but Dopple made the best of it and was the best damn cheerleader she could be. Though she didn't compete she was interviewed briefly and she of course gave a little shout out to her home village and her family.
That was all well and good until up to a few months ago. She'd been a super adorable Moe Slime Ninja until V got it into his stupid head to start up a war and get many members of DA killed or placed on the wanted lists. Plenty of her good friends had died trying to resist this choice by their mysterious Guildmaster, but the idealistic dreams and facade of DA was broken and thrown to the wind by the dark truth that Dopple hadn't really believed.
With many of the surviving members of DA now wanted criminals, there was no hope that the guild could be saved. They had been irreversibly stained by V. Dopple however still wanted to make a noble guild, one like how DA should have been. So she sent in a request despite not having enough members and endured weeks of torturous 'interviews' till she petitioned Lady Aurella to personally see to her case and was cleared. Although her guild request was denied, she set about trying to hunt down her former criminal brethren and while about it maybe trying to find some people who wanted to join so she could make a real guild. Hunting down wanted DA members would fix the issue of money, and if she did a good enough job she might be able to afford the smoldering crater that used to be the DA guildhall. Someone had blown it up, so maybe she could get it for a discount. If she could get some land, and maybe help with the guildhall, then people would flock to join her new Guild Shining Eclipse.

Bond Burn -- With this magic, Obram can make a magical tattoo or mark of his choosing on any target. This serves as a tracking system, of sorts, but mostly is used for decoration or for Guild Marks for his upcoming Guild. Colors and sizes vary upon activation. This ability does burn upon activation, but immediately disperses with no scarring or wound.
Delmira Defense -- Delmira Defense is a magical barrier, always shaped into a perfect sphere with a maximum width and height of 30ft. Although it can vary in size, Delmira's hit points are always the same. Upon activation, Delmira appears around Obram with him at its exact center with a magical "box" that appears in the air to show a bar that reveals Delmira's hit points to all that can see it. Those outside the barrier cannot enter or pass through it.
Delmira defends against all attacks--spiritual, physical, and magical. Due to this, it is a transfer barrier that lasts for as long as its hit points can withstand the damage it takes in from any type. However, when the hit points get low, Obram can funnel in mana of his own to restore Delmira's hit points. If he were a higher rank, he could use the mana of allies within the barrier upon consent, as well, but at this time, he's not yet fully discovered how to master this ability and has not continued to explore that concept of this magic.
When mana is running dry and the hit points are depleted, Delmira does not vanish, disperse, or break. In fact, Delmira does not shatter until it is dismissed by Obram, which cannot be done when he is unconscious. If the hit points are depleted and Delmira is still active, the damage taken by Delmira will automatically be transferred magically into Obram's body and mind, where he will be internally and physically damaged with blunt damage until he either dies or Delmira is dismissed.

History/Back Story: Ventya State of the UMS is the home state of Obram, but it is also more than that. It is where he fought in a small war, fighting back against their neighboring state to keep slavery unacceptable within their society's standards, fighting for the right to keep it non-existent. It was something that Obram is proud to have lived through, proud to have fought for, and proud to have survived.
He has done much for the state--he mastered some of his magical abilities, but spent more focus on physical battles and weaponry, training others to fight for the rights of others, should the need arise again. He has taught many soldiers, prevented many state-to-state squabbles, and he had avoided being part of any Guild for most of his life. He didn't have time to specialize in his magical abilities with a war going on.
As a Ventya soldier and representative, he currently works for Ventya's Leader, Rembrite. Rembrite is an older man, just like him, and they fought in the war together many years ago. Due to this, they are good friends and Obram has taken it upon himself to be the personal bodyguard of Rembrite's daughter, Amara Rembrite. This is a position he has taken for the past six years and, for the most part, it's been a relatively simple job with only occasional challenges to pop up. However, this didn't keep when Amara decided to join Dark Ascension.
When Amara signed up for Dark Ascension, Obram followed. After having protected her for so many years, she had become like a niece to him and he couldn't take this position lightly. He was marked as a member of DA for an entire year before the war broke out--a war that he and Amara had no part of. It wasn't long before the two were fugitives and he took advantage of his connections with high-ranking soldiers and Amara's father to get a swift meeting with Lady Aurella de Gant to clear their names and that of their friend Dopple.

Olidamarra's Key -- Amara can lock/unlock and/or activate/deactivate any/every device/system of security (latches, levers, knobs, handles, bolts, rigs, ropes, etc.) that can be used as the method to lock a gate, door, or window. This ability does not work on magical restraints or locks and she has to touch the lock physically in order to activate it.
Area Manipulation -- With this ability, Amara can directly effect only non-living objects/materials. Additionally, she cannot use this ability to break, shatter, or damage something directly. Lastly, she cannot directly effect an object that is attached to an organic being. Area Manipulation extends around Amara's body in all directions up to 100ft, but the more area and number of objects it effects, the more effort and mana that is required.
Amara can shift the contents, objects, placements, orientations, space, and even the entirety of any and all areas or places, rearranging areas at will and changing things around so the objects in the area are in different locations and orientations and such in the area that they are in. Functionally, this appears as though she is using telekinesis to move objects. The larger and more massive the object is, the slower it can be moved, but this movement is not instantaneous (such as teleportation) and is incredibly visible by all.
Generally speaking, Amara prefers to use this ability to throw off her enemies with environmental tactics such as tilting the ground, creating pits, moving herself and her enemy closer to each other via ground manipulation, and so on. She is aware of how everything is spaced within her ability's range and can, in fact, see a somewhat grid-like view in her mind's eye as she manipulates her surroundings. This grants her great spacial awareness and allows her to judge distances accurately--incredibly accurately.
However, she cannot sense people--she is not able to directly influence them at all and cannot directly influence their clothing, armor, weapons, gear, etc. As long as something is in contact with a living creature's body, Amara cannot directly manipulate it with her ability, but this will not stop her from using their surroundings to do this indirectly.
This ability cannot simply be activated upon a whim--in fact, it takes several minutes to activate fully and safely (regardless of the area of effect's size). It also drains mana for every second that it is active, making it entirely exhausting to use, both mentally, physically, and spiritually, regardless if objects are moved or not. Longer periods of usage can result in severe migraines, disorientation, and crippling vertigo.

History/Back Story: As a daughter of a Governor, Amara was raised around politics, but these things never interested her. She was quick to learn to use her magic and how to fight with swords from various tutors--as a member of a middle class family, her father was able to afford her many, various lessons where she could simply learn what she wished and do (for the most part) whatever she wanted.
Of course, she wasn't at all pleased when she was assigned a bodyguard after an attack was made on her and her father--but Obram quickly grew on her and they became good friends. In fact, there were many times when she just called him "uncle" and he had come to accept it, so that was just the way it was. It wasn't too long before she and Obram could fight together well enough. Annoyingly, he insisted on teaching her a bit of polearm fighting, but for the most part, nothing was too torturous where her bodyguard was concerned.
When she told Obram she would join Dark Ascension, he wasn't happy--neither was her father. Of course, the place had a bad reputation, which was all the more reason to go there and fix it. That was her argument and she stuck with it. She hadn't been there but a year in total, but for the year that had lasted, she met Dopple, a good friend whom she shared a love of dancing and acting with. Dopple had even taught her to make fireworks--an interesting trade, but not interesting enough for her to keep at it with much frequency.
With Dopple, she could be positive about DA and positive about life--they had a good outlook on most things and often clashed against Obram's constant arguments towards their "naive" and "overly-optimistic" point of view on most subjects. In fact, Obram constantly debated their statements with counter-arguments, bringing in his "realistic" point of view, but of course the girls knew what they really were--pessimistic. When the war came, these three stuck like glue to each other, careful to avoid the war at all costs.
When they were lucky enough to be cleared with the help of Amara's father, they decided to work on making a new Guild. Unfortunately, getting cleared through Lady Aurella de Gant was an entirely unpleasant experience, as was the woman's discovery of their intent to make a new Guild. Still, despite the terrifying woman's statements to them all, Amara hopes to continue at Dopple's and Obram's sides with the hope of establishing their new Guild as soon as possible.
