[ATTN: ALL; An Introduction]

The Observer carefully sent out the exact same message to seven individuals that managed to catch his attention. Only those that had enough qualities that represented self-competency deemed them worthy, to him. However, he knows that the most difficult task will be uniting them under one goal, convincing those that differ the most into working together. After all...several of them seem as though a massive battle could break out amongst them, should the wrong thing be said or the wrong action be taken. Regardless, this is a risk that the Observer is willing to take. After all, Pragia Kingdom is quite worth it--it is his home. He also made sure that each member would be able to see the titles or names of the others that would be invited. If the dire needs of the Kingdom will not intrigue them, perhaps their future company will.

Pragia Concerns Role-Play Empty Re: Pragia Concerns Role-Play

Evon D'Yagh had been wandering for sometime out in the wilderness. "I'm getting too old for this.' he grumbled inside his head, not for the first time today. Why couldn't these cattle thieves ever be easy to catch? Why did they have to lead this poor old man on a wild chase for... just how many hours had it been?

It was pretty hard to tell, being well into the night. Much past the time for honest people to be in bed. Then again Evon found himself more and more often awake during the wee hours of the night. Fortunately it probably was the only beneficial thing about growing old. If it wasn't soo dark, he could just catch up a good breeze and whisk himself to and fro. Actually he still could, but Evon really didn't want to run into anything at that speed. It probably would happen too, his night vision just wasn't all it used to be either. It would be just his luck that he'd be chasing after all these young hooligans who just couldn't leave things well enough alone, and trying to catch up he'd run into a fence or tree or something.

Inhaling the night air, Evon decided to just give up for the night. Sooner or later he'd get these shits, but right his aeromancy senses told him that there was a good chance he'd get caught out in a storm if he kept at it tonight. Pulling in the air around him Evon spun it about, throwing leaves and flattening grass till it had enough velocity to lift him into the night sky.

Gaining altitude, Evon leveled off into a hover and paused as he took note of the north star and gathered his bearings. Currently here wasn't any lights in sight, so all he had to go off was the ones upon the night's sky. Gathering more wind he headed east towards the city. As he gained speed. he extended his magic forward in front of him to part the wind so shield his eyes from dust or debris, or possible bugs and animals. No one liked to choke on a bug or have a bat slap them in the face.

Luckily for him, he had enough control of both wind, and ice magic to condition his body to cold and wet. Evon was used to the aches and annoyances of his bones, but training allowed him to ignore it. When he landed and got back to the inn, he'd let his bones warm back up. 'Why couldn't I have had just a little talent in fire magic?' he wistfully complained in his head, not a new thought in the least.

------------------------------------------

Evon flew far, far above the town. So high in fact that none of the guards or even the noise of his magic could even be heard. Starting down he scanned the growing patchwork till he could start picking out landmarks, quarters, and eventually street. His speed slowed, and he minimalized his wind wake, till he was hovering outside his room window. Reaching out he pulled the cloth he'd stuck in the door to leave it ajar to readmit him.

Entering the room, the curtains fluttered and snapped from his magical entry. Landing on the floor he turned around and pulled closed the windows. Reaching up he pulled down his neck-wrap and drew in a breath of the warm air. He started to remove his outfit, and change into his night clothes. With his clothes draped over his travel rucksack he found the lamp, struck a flame then lit the wick. Once it stopped sputtering and caught a good flame he went of search of the chamber pot.

Once he finished his business he put the lid back on it and slid it back in place under the bed. Surely they didn't intend to make an old man stoop so low on purpose. Evon balled his fist and rubbed the base of his spine where his sore back muscles where. As he relaxed he set down the lamp on the nightstand by the bed. Something strange caught his eye that made him hesitate in setting down the lamp but only momentarily.

He picked up the strange envelope and flipped it over looking for a seal or a name perhaps. There was nothing, it was a plain unadorned envelope. Finding his pen knife in his rucksack took a second, but at last he was able to slit open the paper cleanly. Sliding his fingers in he pulled out the contents a folded piece of high quality paper. On he letter was scrawled something in Gold leaf:

The Vigilante of Haragot

Hesitantly he opened it to read it's contents rather than burn it immediately like he felt he should. He wished that he also was skilled in other scholarly magics, then he would have known if it had been trapped or spelled. Perhaps it still was, and he'd sealed his fate by opening it. No telling, it was probably better that he had finished reading it. There wasn't mention of if he would need to bring the invitation or not, but he held it over the lamps flame till it started to burn. If they went through all the trouble to track him down and give him such a veiled threat then they could just deal with it if he showed up without an invitation.

And here he'd been looking forward to returning home to his Chala and his girls in a couple months, but now he had to take care of this. If he didn't, he didn't want them to become the target of any backlash for him slighting the near mythical Overseer. "Seems my plans have been thrown to the wind."

With that, Evon went about putting back on his robes and gathering his things. He would have no choice but to head into this possible trap, but he wasn't going to risk getting caught tonight just in case. What was a few lost hours of sleep? He didn't need more than a few hours anyway at his age.

Pragia Concerns Role-Play Empty Re: Pragia Concerns Role-Play

[ATTN: Open]

"Thank you, thank you!"

Allyn rose from her bow, perched standing on a table in the tavern, the shouts and cheers of the drunken patrons rising in force. She pressed both hands to her lips and threw out a kiss, to more cheers. Allyn had thrown a purse in the middle of the long table, and it had swelled with their generous donations - man, she loved drunks. Drunks tipped far more than they should.

She tipped forward as if to bow again, turning her bow into a front handspring, landing in front of the moneybag. She knelt, lifting it lightly from the table - and disappeared.

Or at least she appeared to, to them. Allyn ran lightly to the end of the table, leaping off and barely cresting the heads of the small crowd gathered around the table. She landed hard behind them, letting out a breath, but drunk and baffled as they were they didn't notice the sound of her landing, and so Allyn stood up and wove through the small crowd left to the door.

She waited until someone else entered the tavern, and she slipped out around them as the door opened, finally reaching the freedom of the streets.

Allyn slipped along the walls of the tavern, walking lightly down the street away from the building. Her walk slowly turned into skipping, until she slipped into a side alley and ran for the wall, making it up it a few steps and clinging to the edge of the low roof of the building. Allyn clambered up, making it up to the roof, and pressed one finger to her lips contemplatively. It wasn't this one, it was...

She turned her head and took off running, leaping for the next roof over, and the next one, finally stopping on top of some small shop with a chimney sticking up from the roof. Allyn strode over to the chimney, searching around next to it until she found her larger bag of equipment. She'd found most people didn't exactly look up very much - certainly not on top of their own homes.

The invisibility fell as Allyn finally sat, leaning back against the chimney and opening the purse to claim her rewards. She upturned the bag in her hand, coins spilling out like music... followed by what looked like an envelope. Fan mail? She giggled at the thought, opening the envelope and pulling out the letter within.

Allyn scanned the letter, her eyebrows rising as she read. It got much less interesting the more she read - yeah, sure, peace was just dandy - but at least the beginning was exciting. Great danger? Weird, secretive meeting places? Not to mention weird people - a princess, a ser, the Vigilante of Haragot? And a host who didn't even sign a real name?

She folded up the paper, stuffing it back into the envelope and placing both it and her purse in her bags. Now that - that all sounded much more interesting than taverns.

[Attn: Open]

He sat on the balcony of his estate, sipping a strong cup of a Highland brew. It had a smoky aroma that was incomparable to local blends. He took a bite of his lemon cake and chuckled as he looked at the cake it had come from in the center of the table. It was whole. Anyone who checked the bottom of the platter would notice runes written on it that prevented the cake from both going bad and regenerating when a slice was taken. Who said you couldn't have your cake and eat it?

There was a rap at his door and he sighed. Couldn't a man enjoy a pleasant sunset before the world came to call? Oh well.

He jumped up to his feet--and made a mad dash for the door, sliding down the bannister and giving a loud whoop as he did so. These things should be done to their fullest if they were to be done at all. He landed with a soft thud of his feet and opened the door calmly. A messenger stood on the other side and handed him a note. He thanked the boy, gave him a copper for his trouble, and bid him a good morning.

He opened the missive and raised his eyebrows. What tomfoolery was this? Dire fate? Powerful danger? The sender certainly had a flair for the dramatic.

"Susie!" he called into the other room. "Cancel my afternoon appointments, won't you? I apparently have a date with terrible perils and dire fates!"

He chuckled as he charged back up the stairs. Of course he had no receptionist named Susie. Susie was nothing more than a picture from an old tale. Susie had your number and Susie wasn't your friend.

He began to make preparations for his evening jaunt. He hoped whoever was throwing this shindig had some good coffee and cakes. If they had tea he was setting them on fire.

Porter had just returned to the village. His mission was to deliver a young lady safe to her grandparent's home. A beautiful young woman as well. He could not resist that beautiful smile. Thankfully it was an easy trip. The young lady was as well. He returns to his permanent room at the local inn. There is a note waiting for him. He opens it up not able to read a lick of the message. He takes some coins and goes downstairs to the pub.

He smiles and goes to the barkeeper. An older woman who is immune to his charms. “Porter, out of my way, unless of course you are going to do some business.”

Porter plays with a coin between his fingers. “Milady, your humor is more amusing than a traveling bard. It so happens I need a favor.”

“Hand it over. I was here when the note was dropped off.” She takes the note from him and reads it aloud.

“Jorn's Cliff. I've been by there before. Read the other names again beautiful.” Porter demands politely. The woman did. “I don't recognize any of the names, but the Princess. I believe this will be a most interesting mission. It sounds like I will have some ladies to help out as well. How can I resist? Thank you milady, I hope that you will be able to survive without me.”

The barkeep rolls her eyes. “I will try to make do.” She answers with a hint of sarcasm.

Porter throws a few coins on the table. “For your trouble milady.” He goes up to his room and packs some bags. Jorn's Cliff is not the most accessible of locations.

The Observer could sense as each target read the letter he sent to them. He could not feel their reactions to them--that was a different spell, but now, he wishes he had used it. He has no way to know who will arrive and who will not. Regardless, he decides to wait patiently at Jorn's Cliff a full two days early.

He chooses stealth magic as is means to remain there undetected, and as the day of the meeting finally arrives his excitement grows. He is eager to meet of these people, especially the Trickster. For the most part, he feels the worst for the Rune Wizard...though he delivered the messages to those that were farthest away first, he would still have more traveling to do than the others...probably around 2ChW (cherran weeks) travel. The Vigilante and Lady Kiri has it the easiest, if they are indeed within the Capitol City of Haragot, they will have to travel a mere 30ChM (cherran minutes) just to reach their destination.

Most others will only have to travel for 2-3 ChD (cherran days) worth to reach this place, but with the promised topic, why would they not find the travel time to be worth it, especially when he paid their way? Finally, the sun will set within an hour. The time for the meeting has arrived and the Observer cannot wait to do what he does best as each person arrives...observe.

The destination would be a long one--two whole weeks!--but he decided he could fix that a little. A rune on the horses, cart driver, and cart and he'd shave a week off. Sure they'd all be hungry as horses for the next week or so, but a healthy appetite was good for them!

He stroked Blinky, who was giving him her usual smiling look when he was up to mischief. She lay curled up in his lap, purring happily--she adored long trips--while he sat and watched the countryside fly by them. The view alone made this worth the trip if nothing else.

It was only a few days travel from the town she was in if she cared to hurry - so Allyn decided to take her time about it. She did enjoy the travel in itself, and there were a few places she wanted to stop along the way to pick up some cash anyways, so Allyn traveled on foot, spending the evenings in towns fooling drunks into giving her all they had.

Even so, she found she was approaching the cliffs with plenty of time - she had maybe a half an hour til the sun set. Allyn pressed one finger to her chin in thought, and with a smile and a snap of her fingers she vanished, invisible. Best to take a look around without actually having to talk to them all, first.

But when she did arrive at the cliffs, no one else appeared to be there. Even better. Now she could give them all a fright when they did show up.

When she'd been there a few minutes, she'd find a calico cat brushing against her leg from out of nowhere. The creature looked at her with knowing eyes and the hint of a smile--if cats could be said to smile. The cat purred and rubbed against her legs some more.

Porter doesn't mind traveling at night. There are less people about. Something about the note made it sound like he needed to get there quickly. As his horse gallops through the countryside he wonders about the people he will be with. He knows at least the Princess is female. He hopes she isn't the only one. That would make for a boring mission.

He gets to the next town as the sun rises. One more day and he will be there. He gives his horse to the stablemaster and gives him coins to take care of the horses. He enters the town and finds the local inn. It is just starting to get busy. Fortunately the innkeeper here knows him and is more than willing to give him a room for a cheap price. He drinks a glass of ale and flirts with the waitresses before going to his room to rest.

Pragia Concerns Role-Play Empty Re: Pragia Concerns Role-Play

Post by xenolion 7th April 2014, 4:16 pm

*Posting for Lunabear*

What a demeaning way to live, Lady Kiri thought. She sighed as she sat there in the house of her parents. She hated living as a commoner, it meant she had to work for a living. All her life someone had always done everything for her. Now she was nothing bu a spoiled brat. Everyone looked down to her and her family. Her parents are at the age where it was hard for them to get a job.

She grumbled as she finished her breakfast knowing she would have to go out into the fields. Lady Kiri groaned. It had been hard to find work for them. Others took pride knowing that she would be placed in the fields, pulling weeds, sweating and breaking her back to do the work that she never had done before. The man who hired her had taken pity on her family even though they had done wrong against the king. He hired her and her mother. Her mother to clean and do laundry, herself to work in the fields. He was good to them unless he was unhappy with their work. Then he would lash out at them in his foul mood.

She walks with her mother out of the house leaving her father at home to find work. They leave together knowing it would take time to get there. The Colonel would be mad if they are late again. They are 30 minutes late. “Lady Kiri there is a messenger here for you. I need you to come inside quickly. He has been waiting for you all morning.” The colonel said.

Kiri helped her mother inside the house. “Why is her here for me?” She asked

“I am not certain, he will not say.” The Colonel said.

Lady Kiri walks over to the man. “May I assist you sir?” The man handed her the invitation saying nothing. He left afterward. Kiri opened the letter and read it.

Post by MethosArchaic 8th April 2014, 7:45 pm

[Attn: Unknowing people under foot.]

Evon had stopped for a few hours of rest, not sleep, sometime after midday. It turned out that he'd gotten out in time, obviously since he hadn't had to fight anyone or been caught. There had been some worry that perhaps it was some kind of trap since the Observer or their agent had located him, "And now here I am headed to find them."

The Vigilante still held skepticism that this Observer was altruistic. He'd been asking around here and there about them. You couldn't really be subtle about it, the Observer was viewed as a kind of mysterious spider-like god. They controlled information, and apparently many people spoke in their name, but the gender remained unknown, kind of like if it was a human or maybe a group of people.

Evon was still flying high above the height that anyone would notice. At the altitude he maintained he had to maintain another spell to keep the ability to breathe. Truth was it was more done by instinct then conscious thought at least not anymore, maybe ten years ago it might have. He also couldn't really look back at his youth and call them his glory days either,

Dipping back under he clouds for a second he peered down at the meeting place. He'd been there the first day but no one had appeared or shown. It wasn't till today that anyone had in fact shown up. It was hard to tell, but he was pretty sure that the first to arrive was another magician with his familiar. He'd set to work pretty quickly in fact, and then disappeared.

Then when the second person came up, it was a someone on foot. Well Evon wasn't sure on the gender since he was farther up now since early before this second person had disappeared. It was looking like more and more like some sort of plan to ambush him.

Evon hadn't seen anyone else show up either. Perhaps the firs one had been the Observer, there really wasn't any telling. Then again it could just be the other guests perhaps, but Evon hasn't ever met these other guests. Secretly he'd forgotten the other guests' names, but really he wasn't getting senile or anything. No it most certainly wasn't a sign at all, no Sir, no it wasn't, Evon crossed his arms and peered down at the clearing.

Just how was he supposed to tell if it was a trap without setting it off? If it was then he'd have to compete with two unknowns, well one was a magician of some kind. The Magician had done some sort of ritual or spell down there, he had seen a tiny shimmer of light for a second. Perhaps if he waited then he might be able to see them turn in. Then he'd be able to tail them and learn more.

It really was troublesome, worrying about it. If this was twenty or thirty years about then he would just have flew down and blasted them instead of waiting. Then again he was older now and not as driven by recklessness. Perhaps this time the Observer would make an appearance when the sunset. Evon couldn't seem to recall any particular date mentioned now that he thought about it. It almost made him wish he had that invitation to peer at again. Memory just wasn't what it used to be.

If the light got much worse he might have to risk going down closer, but where he was they wouldn't be able to hear the wind maintaining him or hardly be able to see him either. Few people looked up, and even if they did with the fading light he'd be all but invisible himself.

Allyn stood up, scooping up the cat and turning as he spoke until she was facing where she thought his voice was coming from. She cradled the cat in her arms, quickly walking towards his voice, wondering if she might be able to run into him.

He suddenly appeared in view, maybe a meter away, along with a fold-up table and chair that he was sitting in. A coffee pot sat on the table, and he sipped at his drink and looked at her as she arrived.

Allyn blinked as he stared right at her, and looked down at the cat in her arms to see - well, her arms. So that had been the bizarre tingling sensation she felt as she saw him - her spell fizzling to pieces. "That wasn't very nice, was it kitty," she cooed, scratching at his ears and kissing his forehead.

Blinky purred as she was stroked. Allenon waved a hand at her to sit at a chair that was on the opposite side of him. The folding table and chairs were made of a good mahogany, though plain, but the coffee pot and cups were an exquisite sapphire lacquer with a multitude of colorful designs on them.

At her statement he cocked an eyebrow and gave her a wry smile. "Oh?" he said. "I suppose barreling over here and invading my space was the height of courtesy?" he inquired dryly. He took a swallow from his cup and sighed happily. "Would you care for a cup? The brew is exquisite--though be careful if you're not used to it or you could get jittery."

After some sleep Porter packs up his items. He goes downstairs and greets the people in the common area of the pub. After flirting with the waitresses, he gets some food and is on his way. He pick up his horse and continues on to cliff. He knows he should make it there just before sunset unless he runs into trouble. However he is not the kind to do that. He can fight, but would rather talk his way out of a battle. Unless it is protecting a young lady that is.

He rides hard, only stopping to give the horse breaks. He only slows when he sees the cliffs in sight. He wonders if the others have arrived. He descends from his horse leading it by the reins. Well it appears he is the first one here. He leans against a pillar with her leg up and waits for the others.

Porter Open

Lady Kiri looks at everyone in the room who is looking at her. “I will be leaving mother, please take care and I pray papa will be alright.” She said.

The colonel looks at Kiri and nodded his head. “Does that mean you are quitting your job?”

“I have no choice Colonel. I will be taking my leave. If you will….please take pity on my father and give him a job.” Kiri said grinding her teeth. It was below her to ask for another’s help, but her family needed it. She had some money that she had stashed away she could use now. She hugs her mother as the colonel looks at her.

“Then leave, don’t come back. I will take pity on your father because he is an old man. You I have no pity on.” The colonel said.

Kiri could feel her blood boiling. “Then so be it.” She looks at her mother. “Good bye mother, I will be home when I can.” She said. She leaves and rushes home as fast as she could. Her father is gone. She takes their only horse and packs some food for herself. She gets the things she will need for the trip including her weapons and puts them together. She leaves some money on the counter for her parents and then leaves.

Jorn’s cliff was a beautiful place and she had been there a time or two in the past. She wondered what kind of fate that their kingdom was about to have. If it had anything to do with the king then she will know her parents were right. She pushes her horse hard to get to where she needed to be. It would take her to sunset to get there.

She stops only to rest the horse and to partake of the bread and cheese she took from home. She is angry at the way they are to live. At least someone thought she was a princess, who she was, or so she thought. She sees someone ahead and wonders if they are one of the other members of this so called band. With names like these she wondered if any of them were good citizens. She stays back, not wanting to speak to them, least they were a bandit.

She can see the cliffs not too far. She sighs knowing that she had made good timing.

Pragia Concerns Role-Play Empty Re: Pragia Concerns Role-Play

[Attn: Those at the meeting ground]

The sun was descending steadily and the night air was starting to cool already. It always started to chill sooner depending on your altitude, and Evon wasn't on the ground. Staying aloft also circulated the air around him. Sure he had on many layers under his robe, and the robe helped keep him warm but it still eventually crept in no matter how good the clothes were.

As far as he could see no one else had shown up, and the two where still in hiding at least as far as he could see. The light was only going to get worse before it got better, like this damn temperature. One of these days he was going to save up money and go find those glass crafters and have them make him a bloody set of farseeing goggles. Then again he wouldn't get much use out of them before he likely kicked the bucket, if he didn't tonight.

Here he was thinking about what he could do. Perhaps he could give a shot at making some rain to flush them out or expose them. Outlining a target with water tended to somewhat counter people who could magic themselves from sight. Then again it could turn out to be a huge waste of magic too. Perhaps he could just create some hailstones, it wasn't as labor intensive but still he had no way to know if they where in fact enemies or the other guests so he put that aside too.

He'd thought of going back to the town and finding a room or perhaps finding somewhere to camp, but the more he thought of leaving the more sure he felt that tonight would be the night that they would gather. Even in the fleeting light, he managed to pick out the shape of a rider in the distance.

Now he just needed to get down from here without being readily noticed. Evon scratched his cheek in consternation through his mask and scarf. If he came in fast they would hear him, and if he came in too slow then most likely they would spot him instead. There just wasn't that much cover out here by the cliffs. Perhaps if he threw some ice into those trees over there, he could get them to look in that direction while he dropped from the sky and stopped below the cliff and used it to hide.

Then again he had no way to tell if the two weren't camped under the trees. He'd hate to hurt them by accident if they weren't enemies. Maybe the rain thing would be better after all. He could direct over the cliff and maybe encourage them to seek shelter in the trees. It wouldn't hurt anyone, perhaps that really was for the best.

Then again the rider was getting closer, perhaps it might be best to make sure that they weren't an enemy before they got to the other two. Evon sighed, and just let himself slowly hover down towards the cliff edge. If they attacked him then he'd most likely be knocked off it back into the air, where he was at home.

Plus coming in like this also would give a certain flair to his appearance. Magic unnerved some, but there was a lot to be said with how one made an appearance. It was sort of like first introductions, everyone always remembered the introduction. Evon cut his magic that was making him slowly go back down to earth. He curled up his body as he flipped over and positioned his body in a dive.

His robe snapped and rustled about against him as the wind rushed past. Flight was amazing, but this was where the real excitement was. The only magic he maintained was the one that protected his eyes and let him breathe normally. The ground was rushing up faster and faster, though soon he'd reach that sweet spot where he'd stop gaining speed. He could of course push himself beyond that point, but he wasn't exactly attempting to outrun another flyer at the moment.

When he reached that sweet spot of terminal velocity he started counting and measuring the distance to the ground. 'Alright time to slow down.' he thought to himself, opening his mouth to speak would have just gave him a mouthful of wool. Slowing down his decent he slowly diverted a tiny bit of air to start decelerating, gradually increasing it till he had all but stopped a few feet above the cliff edge. Evon made sure he didn't send much wind out towards the trees but kept the wind tight and neat till it spiraled up in a kind of dust devil under him before sputtering out as his feet reached the ground.

Looking around he took a slow appraisal of the meeting place, the rider still hadn't made it just yet. "Hrnn." he groaned from his throat slightly, he'd missed one. The boy's horse was tethered nearby while the lout had been cooling his heels and lazed in wait.

"The lot of you better show yourselves before I get to thinking less happy and trustworthy thoughts. I don't take well to skulduggery." Evon said speaking to everyone and no one in particular. "And you boy," Evon said looking at Porter intensely, "keep your hand away from your sword and we'll stay just peachy."

[ATTN: Those gathered]

Allyn shrugged, starting to answer before she glanced to the side, noticing movement. Someone else was coming. She clapped her hands together excitedly before she regained control of herself, balling her hands up into fists as she stood up. "Tell you later," she said, speaking more quietly as she saw the first rider approach. She stood dead still, silent, as he moved to tie his horse.

Allyn walked around the table carefully, speaking quietly. "I don't suppose you could let me...?" she said, and he nodded. He gestured for her to come closer, and when she did he wrote something on the edge of her skirt. She looked down at her hands and focused, watching herself vanish into air again. Just how she liked it.

Allyn stepped out of Allanon's little invisible abode, starting to move around to the man with the horse as he tied his beast up. She pressed one finger to her mouth, walking around him and studying him, thinking. They'd have to meet face to face eventually, so it wasn't like she could do whatever she wanted to - being held accountable for it all later and all. Then again, maybe she could. What was a joke or two between 'friends?'

But her train of thought was interrupted quickly, and Allyn looked up, stepping back as something hurtled down from the sky. A man. A flying man, and there was only one infamous person on that list who it could be...

She blinked as the man called her and Allanon out, and let out an audible giggle, right behind the horseman. "Did you hear that? Guys, the Vigilante noticed me!" She laughed again, circling around the horseman but keeping her distance from the Vigilante. She was gonna guess he didn't take so well to jokes. "He's so cool!" She skipped forward lightly in front of Porter and kicked her leg out, trying to sweep his base leg out from under him, before she spun away, giggling.

[Attn: Group]

He grinned at Allyn's outbursts as he watched her prance around the man who arrived. He had neglected to mention that part of the runes he'd written on her skirt made her visible to him no matter what spell she used. Pity it would only last so long as she was wearing that skirt--or if she washed it. Oh well, spilled milk and all that.

He heard the next man before he saw him, then smirked at his outburst. And here he'd thought he'd been the first to arrive on the scene.

"Skullduggery, you say?" Allanon commented with a trace of amusement. "Maybe I merely chose to take a leaf out of our host's namesake and observe whom I was dealing with. As for my new acquaintance, I assume hers has more to do with living up to her title."
