Halloween Role-Play

Your character will come into full consciousness while standing in a realm of ash and filled with oddities. It looks enough like the world that you came from--the living world, but at the same time, everything seems shifted, twisted, and darker. Standing before you are the two shown in the banner, looking at you all while they both float a little in the air.

"Hi! I'm Rigel, and I'm in charge of you guys until you get used to things!" The boy says happily with a welcoming smile. "At first, I guess I should explain a few things..."

Andromeda looks at her brother with irritation and say ''Why would we explain this stuff to them ? I'd love to see how they fare on their own.'' With a mischievious grin, she turned her back on them and started to talk to herself. ''Peut-être devrais-je faire un pari pour savoir qui serais le survivant ultime.... hihihi''

Rigel cringes at her last words, but he forces a smile on his face almost immediately after and looks at the group sheepishly. "Don't mind her. We're gonna help you guys out, I promise! We should probably take them to one of the easiest places, first..."

''Aaah ? '' Andromeda exclaimed toward the words of her brother out of annoyance. ''No we're not ! That's boring ! We should put challenges on their path rather then make so everything is easy ! '' Looking away she add ''Tu ne comprend donc rien ! Gah ! Tu m'énerve ! Tu devrais venir du côté des biscuits, c'est tellement mieux. ''

"We can't let their souls die!" Rigel says with nervous gestures as he looks to his sister and turns his back on his guests. "Please see reason--"

More would have been said, but the twins suddenly vanish as the young girl snaps her fingers with a mischievous grin. Suddenly, the area shifts and the group of characters will now find themselves in a cemetery, one filled with what appears to be...odd creatures, such as...hopping pumpkins?

''Well everyone, here challenge number one !!! Have fun !!! '' She said with a wink pointing toward the ghouls and the living pumpkins that were looking at the group with obviously not good intent. Andromeda flies to one of the pumpkin a bit further away and make a big hammer appear with which she smash a pumpkin in pieces and start eating the inside.

''Oh mais c'est vraiment bon !!!! Delicious~ '' Other pumpkins around her are backing away slowly and heading toward the group instead.

Rigel pales in the face, looking at the group as a spear appears in his hands. "Good luck."

Rivkah came to while standing up, and she jumped, taking a wary step back and staring at the two floating in front of her.

Okay, what? What was she doing here? She glanced around at the world, seeing somewhat familiar shapes... twisted. Aw hell. Had she screwed something up? Was this another demon's doing? Oddly enough, she couldn't recall screwing anything up this badly lately - really, she couldn't recall much of the last day at all.

Rivkah gritted her teeth as the two in front of her kept talking. I'm going to curse this girl into oblivion if she doesn't start speaking English. It sounded like it might have been French - and Rivkah was really starting to regret taking Spanish over French in high school.

She wasn't the only one here though - she glanced around at the others who seemed to have shown up with her only briefly. None of them she recognized. "Someone cover me," she said, taking a step back and starting to chant in a foreign tongue.

"G*d-fucking-damn, I forgot how good sleep fucking felt."

She blinked. Wait. She was standing. She didn't recall being that fucking tired to fall asleep standing up. Then there was the scenery.

"Oh, g*ddammit, fuck me," she breathed, taking up a fighting stance and looking around warily. "What bullshit Kurian cockfuckery have I wound up in, now...?"

It looked like a place the Kurians had wiped their asses with. Ash lie everywhere like they'd been blasting off those g*ddamned guns of theirs and raped it with a giant barbed cock. Disorienting, as well, as everything seemed, distorted; like someone had played kaleidoscope with the shapes and natural order of the world. Again, the image of a Kurian wiping their ass popped in her mind.

"Hi! I'm Rigel, and I'm in charge of you guys until you get used to things!" The boy says happily with a welcoming smile. "At first, I guess I should explain a few things..."

She jumped, really seeing the two...who had been standing right the fuck in front of her. Two...kids?...were addressing her and others, and bickering between themselves. The boy seemed helpful, while the girl seemed a little bitch who wanted to screw them over and spoke in some fancy pants language that she couldn't understand. She grimaced and started to snark, but decided she'd hold her tongue for now.

"You speaking a foreign tongue cause you didn't take your balls outta your g*ddmamn purse? Or you trying to cover for a mile long inferior bitch complex?" Okay. One snark, then.

The next instant, the little cocklover had transported them some-g*ddamn-where where...creatures seemed poised to attack. She rolled her eyes. Oh well, snarking the little vag-stain had made her feel better. Her whip and knives were conveniently on her side. She gave the creatures her best shit-eating grin as she unfurled her whip.

"Eh, I don't give a fuck," she said, "run your g*ddamn tests, inferiority bitch. At least it won't be boring."

Jasmine opens her eyes. She looks around at the landscape around her. What twisted place is this? She has never seen this before and she has been everywhere. She feels a weight on her back. At least she is well prepared. She sees two other young ladies and the floating(??) people. They have wings like angels, but their attitudes are not so.

"We can't let their souls die!" Rigel says with nervous gestures as he looks to his sister and turns his back on his guests. "Please see reason--"

Souls die? Are they at the dark gates? Jasmine checks her body. She doesn’t feel any wounds. What happened? How did they end up here? She has to get back. She is about to speak up when one of the others do. She uses the most vulgar language Jasmine has ever heard. “Wow.” She mutters.

That is all she gets out before they are taken to a cemetery. There are pumpkins trying to attack them. Jasmine wastes taking her bow off her back. She grabs and arrow and draws it back. “I guess our first meal will be pumpkin as well.”

One moment Ceilidh was running through the castle halls, then next thing he knew he was in a completely unfamiliar place. In his surprise he tripped over his feet and fell to the ground, getting covered in ash in the process. He sat up and started dusting himself off and then noticed his surroundings. His eyes grew wide as he took in the twisted world, the girls around him, and the two floating people.

He opened his mouth to speak, but then realized the two floating people were talking, so he shut it. He had difficulty following their conversation, especially when the girl started speaking in a strange language. Also, one of the girls around him had a pretty foul attitude.

As the boy said something about keeping their souls from dying, the two disappeared and the scenery shifted. Ceilidh quickly got his feet when he saw the strange creatures moving around. He didn't have much time to take in the surroundings, though, as the creatures were coming for them.

"Wh-what is this...?" he squeaked. He noticed the girl closest to him had drawn an arrow and was going to shoot a hopping pumpkin. He moved over closer to her and repelled another pumpkin with a gust of wind.

Jasmine sees the only guy so far out of the corner of her eye. He doesn't seem to have any weapons, and she wonders what he is doing. She sees the pumpkin next to the one she shot get pushed down. "What did you do? The pumpkin just fell over and without any weapons."

Rivkah zoned out the others as she chanted, lifting one hand in front of her and starting to trace out a shape in front of her. She nearly faltered at the… expressive outbursts of one of them, and she had to cut short a grin and narrow her focus before she screwed up her spell. Because cursing your apparent allies is the best way to say hello.

She retraced the symbol she’d drawn in the air, and this time it appeared in the air as she drew, shimmering a deep black as her hand moved to trace it out. As she reached the end of her incantation, she pulled her hand back, and thrust it deep into the symbol she’d drawn.

The black glow in the air collapsed into her hand, turning her veins black before it burst from her fingertips in streams. It hit the bouncing pumpkins in front of her and took on the consistency of tar, sticking some of them to the ground as the liquid began to seep through the skin of the pumpkins and work its inside them. Would work better if they, y’know, were like anything actually alive. Indeed, the best the curse seemed to do on most of the pumpkins was slow them down by sticking them to the ground. “Guess I’m bloody crowd control,” Rivkah muttered, pulling her hand back and shaking it before starting up another curse.

Edysozoa didn't remember sleeping, or travelling to such a drastically unnatural landscape. Is this some kind of dream? The fact that the confused being could think it's a dream must mean it's a lucid dream or not a dream at all. Everything felt real enough not to be a dream, and then a high pitched noise is heard, which could be coming from a floating object off in the distance. It looked like what is known as Humans, but young Eddie doesn't remember seeing a human with such large protrusions on its back and an odd color of hair.

Edysozoa realized that the noise was the boy's voice who seems to be explaining something to the other people around him. Only a handful of words could be made out-the boy's name is clearly...Rigal? Raijeel? Something like that. The girl next to Raygel appears more malicious; she doesn't seem to be saying nice things, in English or French.

Before Edysozoa can make out more of their speech, everyone is teleported to a different area with hard, dense objects implanted in the ground. Other objects can be seen hopping up and down. Perhaps they're a race of animals native to Earth. Before long, the female winged one kills one of the animals and feasts on its entrails. The sight made Edysozoa uneasy, but the slow approach of the creatures seems more important.

Other humans attacked the creatures closest to them, as if they're protecting themselves. It's hard to make sense of what's going on, should the orange beings be killed? Would that be ethical? Perhaps the group is hunting for food. Edysozoa continued watching the scene, growing ever more curious of the aliens' actions.

Alwilda split one of the pumpkins down the middle, keeping an eye on her surroundings. One of the people around her was a magic user, using a gust of wind to repel one of the beasts. Ayudar or Arruinar...? No matter. There was another. The girl standing next to her began chanting and caked the creatures in some kind of tar. Far be it from her to not take advantage of the situation.

She cracked her whip repeatedly, slicing up the creatures. "Oi!" she called to the two of them. "You think you two can work together with that? You, blow them away," she said to the boy, "and you root them to the ground?" More efficient if they could work together.

Jasmine is simply amazed by the attacks the others had. The girl was using some sort of, for lack of a better word, magic. The guy seems to be able to control the air.

She doesn't even know how to classify the new arrival. His? armor is the best she has ever seen. Yet at the same time it does not look like armor. He towers over her and appears to be the observant type.

The vulgar one has a whip for a weapon, and seems to know how to handle it. She seems to be unphased by the 'magic' the other two are doing. She barks orders at the other two. Maybe she is some sort of leader military perhaps?

Jasmine shots off another arrow. She will have to be careful not to use them all now, or gather them back up later. Ugh why didn't she learn to use the sword?

Rivkah was nearing the end of her incantation, sketching her runes in the air when the woman shouted to try and grab her attention. Rivkah twitched, annoyed, before she managed to tune her out and finish her chant, thrusting her arm into the run again to cast her curse.

Her veins in her hand went black again, but this time they hesitated. Oh, fuck. Black tar poured from her fingers in a wide spray, but the blackness stayed far too long in her own veins. Tar blanketed another group of pumpkins as Rivkah jerked her hand back finally, cradling it close as she felt it burning. She cursed loudly, shaking her hand hard, and more tar leaked from her fingertips, dripping onto the ground as the blackness in her veins faded.

She turned on the woman. "Don't ever distract me while I'm casting again," Rivkah snapped, still shaking her hand out. I really wish I had more combat curses to draw from that were less nasty...

Alwilda grinned. "Don't get your panties in a bunch, Tatters," she retorted, slicing a few more of the grounded pumpkin creatures. "Can't avoid anything I don't know about. So less bitching and more tarring!"

Andromeda watch the minions going and she thought they were pretty good... That girl Awilda would regret her words later though. However now she was getting a bit bored so Andromeda clapped her fingers and the ghoul dissapeared and pumpkins just stopped being animated. Turning into normal pumpkins.

''Okay Rigel, you can do your sweet explaining now. They passed. '' She then mutters to herself really lowly. ''Je savais que j'aurais du amener un truc plus gigantesque. '' Andromeda pouts a bit and eat pumpkin before turns toward the group again with a smile.

''You guys passed the test ! Très bien ! hihi. Had fun ? You can help yourself on eating pumpkins they're normal pumpkins now if you want. '' Of course she would let Rigel speak only because she wanted to prepare her next trick or challenge. She had a angelic smile while she was thinking, which was probably a bad sign her brother would see coming from miles away since he knew her well. To the group it would just seem like she would behave for the time being.

The pumpkins suddenly stopped at the snap of fingers. She looked in the direction it came from and saw it was the little inferiority bitch. So that's how the game is being played...

She seemed willing to let her pussy-whipped brother speak, now, and smiled at them. Alwilda cocked an eyebrow. That smile was so innocent it was damning. She had no doubt the little cunt had more bullshit up her g*ddamn sleeves. But there was little she could do about it for the time being. These brats knew the world and seemed to make the rules, so she'd play along.

She rolled her eyes at the woman and was about to snap back at her when suddenly the pumpkins stopped. Rivkah turned to see the winged girl again, smiling all innocent like as she said they passed. She'd seen that sort of smile enough times not to trust it.

She needed to call her backup while she had the chance. If she could set up the summoning while he spoke pulling Mal through would be quick enough. Rivkah began muttering under her breath, her lips barely moving and her arms crossed as she watched the winged kids.

The strange creatures continued to fight the orange anomalies as if they were defending themselves. One girl in particular created an interesting substance from her finger tips that caused harm to the opponents while another used what appeared to be a weapon, something like a long strand of fibrous material. The combat only lasted for a few more moments before the adversaries simply stopped moving. This whole world became stranger and stranger to Edysozoa.

"Pampkhis...?" Edy muttered. They must be a source of food for the Earth inhabitants, similar to the domesticated beasts Edy is familiar with. It walks closer to the group, trying to understand what one winged human is saying. Something about a test, they had. Nervousness built up inside Edy's young heart; as far as it knew, nobody has come within direct contact with Earth creatures. It hoped the group wouldn't react too harshly to its appearance.

Rigel sighs with relief, having not moved at all during the small battle that the newcomers took part in. He watched each combatant carefully, analyzing what skills and abilities were revealed as he held his spear for the ready to save anyone's soul, should it become necessary.

He is glad that everyone seems capable of handling themselves and their surroundings--with the basics, anyway. He looks at his sister with an uncertain, unhappy face as she "allows" him to finally explain to the group. Suddenly, a very small and young girl appears within the group, along with another soul he can't quite see(Kcired & Luna)--it seems her death was quite timely.

"Thank you, sister." Rigel says, shaking his head. "Okay, so...you guys all died. That's why you're here. We are in the afterlife--so to speak. If you wish to earn a reincarnation, you will have to fight through the five levels of afterliving and defeat the main boss. Once you do that, you'll be reborn into the world of the living--whichever world you came from."

Rigel's spear disappears and he snaps his fingers, bringing about yellow, glowing butterflies flittering about the group. He smiles, then, happy to be surrounded by the creatures. Satisfied that the area is more lit to allow for better vision, he continues.

Rigel says, "So yeah. If you die here, you lose your soul and you cannot be reborn. Those are how things work here. Got any quick questions before we 'port you to the lowest level?"

Rivkah's muttering stuttered to a stop, her summoning fizzling flat as she stared at the kid. Wait, dead? He couldn't be serious. Not already!

"Wait hold up," she said quickly as the kid called for questions. "Yeah, actually. When you say reborn, you mean like... reborn reborn? As in, starting from the beginning as babies again?" And I'd just mastered Calculus, too...

Jasmine's face turns to shock. No she can't die. Her hand goes to her shoulder. She died saving Serena. Rigel opens the floor to questions. “First before we go anywhere, I need to collect my arrows. Second, well that was my question as well. Are we going back to ourselves or as a new person?” This is important. If she goes back as Jasmine then she can still beat Nadine. She cannot lose the race not like this. However if she is going back as a new person, then it doesn't matter. She may not want to go back if Nadine is Queen

"Wait hold up," she said quickly as the kid called for questions. "Yeah, actually. When you say reborn, you mean like... reborn reborn? As in, starting from the beginning as babies again?"

“First, before we go anywhere, I need to collect my arrows. Second--well that was my question, as well. Are we going back to ourselves or as a new person?”

Rigel nods his head in response. "Yes, reincarnation. You will be born as a child. Your life, your genetics, your family--all of it will be different next time around."

"My partner," Alwilda said after a moment. "Is he okay? If I die, then he..." She composed herself. "Can you please tell me if he survived my...passing?"

Rigel tilts his head to the side, looking curious. "I need a name to answer that."

Andromeda pouts and glare at her brother doing a few noises that showed she wasn't happy for the wait.

"Pencil di--Adrian Luthar," she said, a smirk playing on her lips.

Rigel scowls a bit, but his pose relaxes as his eyes turn a bright white, glowing into the dark area. He remains like that for a few minutes until his sister breaks his concentration.

''Hey...Hey brother !'' Andromeda said poking him on the cheek, then the sides, then pulling a bit on the side of his shirt. ''J'ai une idée fantastique !!!'' And then her stomach growls.

He shakes his head. "No soul of that name is here...so...he is either alive or his soul is trapped in Purgatory. My bets are on alive."

As her brother ignore her to answer question she stare at him with an annoyed look.

Her shoulders relaxed. One less person to worry about. Then there was no real reason to worry about going back. She'd been making amends for her trespasses, there was nothing really left for her to do. Only...

"Is there any way for us to...meet someone...who's been long dead...?" she said, longing in her voice.

''GAH ! I'm hungry ! Let's make the first level a cooking contest !!! '' She said acting like a boss once again. ''I'll leave the set up to you....mon frère adoré !'' Andromeda said with a big smile before turning serious. ''BUT I want pumpkin pie.... ''

Rigel says with a chastising tone, "Sister, be patient. I'm answering questions."

He wags his index finger at her disapprovingly before switching his gaze to that of Alwilda's, ready to answer her second question. "You can meet only those that are in the afterlife. If they are in Purgatory, reincarnated, or died in the afterlife, they will be beyond your reach."

Andromeda pouts and glare at her brother doing a few noises that showed she wasn't happy for the wait.

Alwilda nodded. "Bartram Grenwald Caldwell," she said. "And if we can't go back to the lives we've left, then I have no real interest in going back," she added, then smirked. "But why the fuck not? Lets play this game. Sitting around and playing a g*ddamn harp sounds about as fucking enticing as getting ass-raped by a Kurian."

She smirked sadly. Sorry, pencil dick, but you ride solo from here on out. Do try and live your life...

It is what Jasmine is afraid of. So why go through this? She already lost everything. She begins to gather her arrows. “Two more questions. What happens to our soul if it dies here, and what if we don't want to be reincarinated? What if we just want to live out our after life peacefully? Like the 'eloquent' woman here, I know there are some people who I would love to meet up with; and quite frankly I don't want to back to my world if I cannot be me.” She doesn't want to see the aftermath of her death because she knows that Nadine is now on the Moldovan throne. More than likely that means war.

When Felicia came to, she realized she was in a strange world with even stranger people. she was confused and didn't know what to do. she felt like she had to say something, but her voice was far too soft for anyone to hear here say "where am I?" Before she could even try to get answers, a guy who looked like an angel said that she was dead. "How is that even possible?! I was fine a second ago, right?!... no wait.. I was..."

Felicia began to cry from the sudden realization. "how could they! I'm their daughter! why?!"

Felicia continued sobbing, but still paid careful attention to the questions being asked by the group; who looked just as confused as she was. Being reborn again? maybe with a better life... or at least... a better family... she thought to herself as she wiped away her tears... But if we die again...

Just as Felicia was finally about to speak up and ask what will happen to their souls if they lose, another lady asked the same question before she could... She just awkwardly sunk back into position, sitting down with her arms hugging her knees.

Rivkah looked back and forth between the group in disbelief, only now noticing the bizarre humanoid and the little girl among them. Some demon is fucking with me. She gritted her teeth and turned away from the flying kids, reaching one hand up to her tattoos on her arm and starting up her chant again. She couldn't be dead, this was a trick, and she'd prove it by asking someone who couldn't lie to her.

Jasmine finishes picking up her arrows. She is happy they are not wooden, or they would have broke. Nothing but the best for a Princess. She hears someone crying and sees the little girl. She is huddled on the ground. Jasmine has a soft spot for children, and this one appears to be the same age as her brother. Jasmine goes to her and rubs her back soothingly. “Don’t worry little girl, everything is going to be fine. My name is P…Jasmine Lane, and I will help you. Do you want to go be reincarnated?” There is a part of her that hopes the girl agrees. She will have a purpose again.
