First topic message reminder :

[ATTN: ALL]

It is a beautiful day, around three in the afternoon, the whole of the region suffering from rather strong winds. It is warm and sunny outside, until the wind blows when it is somewhat chilly. The clouds float on by with the wind's direction, giving the blue sky a bit of variation in design. The towns and cities bustle with busy citizens, Guild Hall doors open and close as business concludes and begins for various members and of course, the streets and halls are also busy with chatter--as it would seem that although things are the same today as they would be on any other day, there is one thing that every living person has in common today.

Everyone that is willing to talk about it seems to have this feeling...a feeling of wrongness. Today feels different, somehow, in some way, though no one is certain as to why this is so. Some are mildly worried, others simply casting it off as just a weird phase. Many have approached the Guilds that are local to them, inquiring if anything can be done it. This has led everyone to realize that even magic casters have felt these odd feelings in their guts, though they seem not to know of its cause or how to make the feeling go away. Everyone has been uneasy since they woke from their beds this morning, but they day still continues on, as if the global feeling did not exist...

Kaimele
{ATTN: Open}
Marketplace; Terrenia City; Morning

Kaimele takes the envelope and opens it quickly. She glances quickly relieved to see that it was from her employer. She sighs in relief. “Forgive me, I was just surprised by your knowledge of something that I don’t want people to know. Please keep that knowledge and any other private information you obtain through your ability quiet.” If this young lady knew about Clementina, what else does she know? She does not get a response as the young lady has walked away.

Kaimele is not an idiot, she knows her ability will be highly sought after. There are other healers, some make a pretty penny, while others do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Both however are ‘slaves’ to their abilities. It is part of the reason why she’s been hiding her healing. Another is the drawback. All magic has a price and hers hits home. For she takes on part of what she heals. She shakes her head and goes back to her shopping.

She makes a few more stops before she has everything she needs. She picks up her fans. It is too bad they cannot flame up safely. That would have been something to show off at this party. She heads back to the store to pick up the cart. At least she will have that to help with the additional bags. She is excited about the party. She is excited about spending the night in a nice house as well.

[ATTN: Fuyu]
--Dye Factory; UMS Border Territory, Late Morning--

Seere had managed to wrangle together a small crew by harassing those standing around until they came to help, and he and one other man were busy trying to dig another survivor from the rubble when the two mages appeared. He didn't even notice they were there until one of them spoke.

Seere looked up, confused, as they said his name. They're here to fight me? Us? He shot Fuyu and these new a baffled look as they started talking some shit about beating them up. Since when was I so important to get people gunnin for me?

He sighed as it clicked. The bar last night. Bloody hell, he musta gambled and lost more than he could pay. "I swear on me mother if we get outta here I'm done gamblin'," he muttered under his breath.

He straightened as the dark haired man spoke. "You have a few moments to clear away the survivors, if you are so worried about their fate.....Iron Dragon's Scales."

The man activated his magic, and Seere watched in frustration as the rescue crew he'd so carefully pulled together all took off running. "Look, I dunno if you ever been in a wreck before but you're gonna have ta wait longer'n two minutes," he said, turning back to the plank he'd been trying to move. "Bloody lunatic," he muttered.

[ATTN: Inn]
--S'venton; UMS, Targon State, Late Morning-–

Nadia grinned and winked at Attica. "You're exactly right," she said. "And we're going out today to talk to people and gather more evidence. You go get yourself ready sweetie," she said, as the woman reappeared with a dress. "I'll be a bit, so wait up for me?"

She caught Sache's eye, signalling for him to keep an eye on Attica as she picked up the file folder and the dress. The file she handed off to Xaroff. "Look that over and meet me at my room when you have," she said, starting upstairs before the others and walking up to her room.

She closed and locked the door behind her as she laid out the dress the innkeepers wife had got her. She started to undress, taking off her skirt and folding it to put it in her bag before she noticed something was amiss. Nadia frowned, reaching into her bag and pulling out a photo. I certainly didn't pack this.

It was a photo of a woman, smiling and with red hair, and horribly familiar - she felt a sinking feeling in her gut as she placed it. A target. One of them, and one of her easiest as well. Her name had been... Kanna, she was sure of it.

She couldn't remember the reasons Dark Ascension wanted her gone, but she remembered the kill had gone far too easily. Most people tried to fight for obvious reasons, but Kanna... she hardly tried. It bothered her then, and it still bothered her now.

She looked down at the photo, biting her lip and glancing over to the window. She pulled the curtains on the window and made sure it was locked - no signs of a break-in. Did they sneak in during my hallucination?

She shoved the photo into the bottom of her bag and changed quickly. Someone had a vendetta. Whether they were the same person who was kidnapping women and girls, she couldn't tell yet, but either way she was ready.

Nadia took a breath, adjusting her new dress. This had to end.

[Attention: Ilyana, Slymeria, Nymeria, Kennot, Open]
[Location: Infinity Edge Training field; Perta City, Ventya State - UMS Territory; Late Morning]

Xiax's hands sought his throat trying to free the fibery obstruction. There might have been some shouting, some rushing of bodies, but both panic and suffocation where pretty much everything at that moment.

There was a shock to his back, and a tearing sensation inside his body. Then Xiax was shocked back to existence as choking forced him awake. Another blow, another vulture ripping away his innards. This time he managed not to blank out, and he kept trying to cough up, until someone clapped him on the back again.
His vision blurred, his face was hurting from the choking, dots where swimming... or where those fishes? His power washed away more of the beach that was Xiax as the contact to Kennot washed more of the sand away.
The world was growing dim, Xiax knew he was dying, unable to get air. Kennot finally freed the horrid intruder from Xiax's throat. Xiax's head was touching the grass, as he kept pulling in sweet sweet air. He felt weak, but that would be normal, wouldn't it? Faint trembles rippled through his body, one that wasn't getting any younger. He felt his forehead, where he was sweating, but his face and jaw hurt.
As he sat up, he shook his head slowly as he rubbed his jaw then his throat.....
!!!
Xiax couldn't be... he blinked his eyes a few times. Surely he was blinking? Wasn't he?
"Ok, slower this time." With slow patience he closed his eyes and opened them. He felt the flutter of his eyelids moving. "Oh, god." Xiax whispered in horrid comprehension, "I-I'm blind."
Xiax could still hear, there was some laughter, and silence of shock. Who was that girl? Who was that with that voice. Xiax jumped when someone touched him, asking if he was alright.
"I a-," he almost confirmed he was fine, "No. I don't think I am."
"Ok, just come with me." The arms wrapped around his arm and helped him up. "What seems to be the problem?" The young man asked as he escorted Xiax away from the training field, the old man weary and weak. Any minute the poor old guy might collapse, the other nurses had told the man about Xiax, Ilyana had told them that this guy's power had some kind of hardcore stamina or physical strain. "What seems to be the problem?" the nurse asked him again. Xiax was looking back over his shoulder, unable to see but somehow he looked back towards the field. It was kind of unnerving to the young man, "What are you looking at?"
"Where is he?"
"Who?"
"The Seer."
"Who?"
Xiax's body had recovered enough that he wasn't be held up by the young nurse anymore. "The one who st- helped me." he corrected himself, the guy probably hadn't meant to trigger Xiax's power.
"Kennot? Well he'd back out at the training field."
"Take me there." Xiax told the boy. "I can't see." he said as way of explanation, though there was a bitter thought of beating that thief half to death, maybe that would get his sight back. The boy lead him back to the field, and out of the way of people.
The boy's grasp on Xiax's arm tightened on his arm. "What's going on?" Xiax said swiveling his head back and forth as he tried to listen. The sun felt warm.
"Ilyana's going in the cage with the girl."
Xiax didn't really know what that meant, but he kept feeling his eyes drawn towards a point ahead. Maybe that was where Ilyana was, and the girl Sylmeria. That was who was supposed to be out there. It wasn't those two that Xiax's eyes kept wanting to drift towards, but someone else. With his hand against his head he tried to force himself to recall the details of who ever had touched him. It hurt to think to long on it, but try as he might he couldn't keep it up before he was sweating and the pain in his head unbearable.
"We can go back inside." The Nurse said as he caught Xiax holding his head.
"No, no, I'm fine." Xiax said waving down the kid. "Give me a few minutes, it'll pass." He now could tell just a tiny bit, when he blinked. There was a faint light, but no shapes yet, just light and dark. Xiax sighed in relief, if he was able to tell the difference now, then that meant that he was recovering.

[ATTN: Nadleeh, Ryushi, Open]
Southern Shaenet Train, Late Morning

Both of Chiron's guildmates appeared to be adjusting well to the jolt after the train came to a complete stop. He remembered his magical ability and used it right away, finding now damaged bones or muscles. Both Ryushi and Nadleeh checked out fine, but Chiron could tell Nadleeh was a little disoriented. Chiron's guildmaster jumped right into action as Valentino poked his head in the room.

Chiron followed close behind Nadleeh as she made her way to the front of the train. As soon as he laid his eyes on the half-destroyed car, Chiron's mouth gaped. He'd never seen such a gruesome sight in his life. A few lifeless bodies were noted, but Chiron used his ability to check for any signs of life. He didn't even noticed the smug figure at the opposite end of the car until he confirmed each of the bodies were dead. He also saw some other passengers in a panicked state, but he waited until he received directions from Ryushi.

[ATTN: Sylmeria, Illyana, Xiax, Open]
Infinity Edge Main Hall; Perta City, Ventya State - UMS Territory, Late Morning

Nymeria watched the scene unfold with analyzing eyes of a wizened elder. She had no idea what to expect to come of this. She only hoped the cage would hold Sylmeria if the situation got out of hand. As Nymeria watched Sylmeria turn into an entirely different person, her eyes sharpened. So this is the demon that I'm responsible for...Thank the heavens... She thought in a piqued tone. We're going to have to do something about that attitude once Illyana breaks her-well, if she breaks her. Illyana had the confidence to gain Nymeria's trust, although the next few moments should be an illuminating experience.

[ATTN: Seere]
--Dye Factory; UMS Border Territory--

Fuyu stopped what he was doing when he saw the two men appear. The way they talked it was obvious that they were behind this, and it seemed they were specifically targeting Fuyu and Seere. He positioned himself in front of the woman he'd saved when things looked like they were going bad, but she screamed and ran away anyway.

Fuyu faced the blond man, since he appeared to be his opponent. The man made the very familiar green flames appear; Fuyu knew he was in for a bad time as heat and fire were his weakness and he was injured from falling through the floor. However, he snapped his head toward the dark-haired man when he said "Iron Dragon's Scales".

"Iron Dragon...?" he said, surprised. He knew he should be paying attention to the fire mage, but he had never met someone like him before. No, I have to focus on the fire.

He looked back at the blond man. He assumed a fighting stance and waited to see what the man would do; he had to conserve his energy as much as possible so he couldn't make any unnecessary movements. Blood trickled down the side of his face from a cut on his temple.

(ATTN : Diggle, Sheridan, Lark)

-- Trentonsville Inn; Northern UMS Territory, Late Morning -–

As Diggle answers about the suspect, Ryla nods in understanding. ''Okay.'' Is all she answered which seemed rather short for anyone who knew her. Getting up she turns toward Sheridan and says ''Look after Lark alright ? I'll be back soon.'' She says as she follows Diggle outside. With haste, they move toward the ruins, walking at a fast pace.

(ATTN : Diggle)

--Shazeer Ruins; Northern UMS Territory--

Arriving on the spot, Ryla shake her head thinking on how the room with valuables had been blown up. ''Well I doubt there is a lot of value left in there.... So you can go ahead and seal it for now. '' She said toward Diggle.

***

(ATTN : Nadleeh, Chiron)

Advancing, Nadhleeh was encouraging people to go back to their seats, which was much appreciated. However when they opened a door toward another car, Ryushi went a bit pale as he was trying to analyse the situation. The car had a whole half missing, having barely a bit of chunks on the sides making it still stand. Aside from that only half of the hallway remained some dead bodies being outside the train, some parts inside. Then he saw this one figure eating metal with his bare teeth.

''How... ?'' Is all he thought when he saw this, then it clicked in his head that more people were alive and he moved carefully on what was left of the hallway. Looking at the people behind him first with a reassuring smile and then turned toward the villain, ready to create a barrier if needed. He address the man and asked ''Who are you ? How could you do such horror to innocent people ? '' He hoped to get answer from the man and also hoped Nadleeh and Chiron would get the clue to get close to him in case it went bad. He somehow hoped to get the Villain's attention as well so the same fate would not happen to other cars as well.

Jacobi
{ATTN: Open, Ryla, Lark, and Sheridan} #Guild_Key
--UMS Border Territory – train station; Late Morning--

Jacobi follows the compass, still unable to trust it completely. He has to wonder what kind of mission it is if Valoria is willing to work with Quinn. He loves being on a mission though better than being stuck in the guild hall. He trudges onward finally getting to the train station. He is arriving just in time. The next train is arriving shortly. He buys his ticket and waits for it to arrive. He takes out his list. Hopefully these people are at their guilds. He doesn’t want to waste time having to locate them on the field.

As Jacobi makes it to the train station, it has yet to arrive. There are, however, several seats taken in the large area where people sit to await for its arrival.

It is not scheduled to arrive for another half hour, so the wait should not take too long. A few people start chattering on excitedly about the news that there are several trains late for unknown reasons. Some suspect it is just a scheduling error, but the train workers seem quite hushed about it and will not give out any explanations to any inquiries.

Jacobi sits down, thankful for a chance to rest. The people keep a noticeable distance from him. He closes his eyes and leans back, listening to the gossip. It appears there is an issue with trains being late. Aw hell he would have better luck on foot. He opens his eye and digs out the ticket. If it wasn’t so wet out he would consider it. He stuffs the ticket back in his pocket and takes out the compass. The needle is turning slightly. He only hopes the train doesn’t take him too far off course. He knows the way to Shez guildhall.

As the chatter continues, the train workers and owners that are in uniforms begin to walk around the edges of the train station with megaphones, calling out loudly as any town crier would do.

The station workers request any available magic users, especially anyone in a Guild, to come to a specified table for a Quest request, which guarantees this next train ride free, as well as rich compensation.

Jacobi watches as the train workers mull around. They are in their uniforms calling out for magic users. Too bad he is already on a mission. He watches the table they have set up carefully. He takes out the compass. The needle is not pointing at the table. Damn, he just can’t catch a break. He was hoping to be lucky and catch one of the people on the list. He sits back keeping an eye and ear open. Maybe he will be lucky and one of the people will be on from the same guild at the persons on his list.

Diggle pushes all of his effort into making the barrier needed to cover the Shazeer ruins--it takes him thirty minutes to finish its development with included meditation, and then it takes another fifteen minutes to make it to the train station.

He looks to Ryla as they almost make it to the station, looking grim. "I see the train isn't there, yet. It's pretty late."

Ryla looked at Diggle do his barrier and watched carefully in case he would need some help on the way back after. ''Your barriers are always amazing.'' She commented, always fascinated by the man's ability.

As they get closer to the station and Diggle mention about the train being late she tilts her head on the side. ''Uh? ... That's strange.... ''

Diggle breathes a little more heavily, clearly very tired from the barrier creation from earlier. He looks to the station entrance and loos slightly confused as he hears some of the train workers walking from side to side outside, using megaphones to announce loudly as they pace in their uniforms.

"Please, all magic users--especially Guild Members--that are boarding this train, meet up with us and hear a Guild Quest Request. We have very urgent need of your assistance." The members repeat the message over and over.

Diggle looks weakly over at Ryla. "What's that about? Wanna check it out?"

As they get closer, Diggle can hear them talk about how the quest will guarantee that the train trip is free for them, as well as additional compensation. His eyebrows raise.

Ryla nearly jumps when the voice on the megaphone start to speak loudly. ''Holy crap! It's the apocalypse! Everyone run!'' She said acting a bit silly till she heard Diggle ask if they should go check it out.

''Uh sure. '' As they approach they overhear some worker and considering that Ryla is far from a shy person. ''HELLO THERE! MIND SHARING INFO I'M FROM THE GUILD SHEREHAZADE KRRRRRSSS'' She yells almost in the employees hears to finish with a sound that is a bit like the megaphone cutting.

Diggle cringes. This girl is crazy and loud. He follows her, albeit with a blush on his cheeks. The man nods his head in response, leading her into the station through the entrance.

"See that table in the far corner?" The guard says, "I need you guys to go there--the quest information will be given to you there. Thanks for listening to the request, guys...though, your partner there doesn't look so good."

''OKAY ! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE INFO.... MOVING ON!.... Okay I'm tired of talking like this. Seriously man check the volume of your megaphone they HURT!!! And no worries he's fine, he just need a small nap I guess?'' She explains before leaving dragging the other guy toward the table.

After a few steps they get in front of the table and Ryla almost dance on place. Raising her hand toward the man holding papers. ''SIR! COMING FOR INFO SIR! '' She says with a salute after clearly seeing that the guy was a military. Probably not from the council for sure, she wondered what was going on.

Jacobi looks over and can see a trail of smoke in the distance. About time he is getting cagey being around so many people. A woman’s loud voice cuts into his head. However this time it is a good thing. The noisy broad is from Shez. He looks at the list. Well Ryla can be a girl’s name. If not she is from Shez and can give him some information about Ryla. He looks down at the compass it is going nuts. Fucking piece of shit. He knew it was too good to be true. However it may be right…

He watches the girl closely. She seems to be the excitable high energy type. All he has to do is give her the key and move on. He takes the correct key and places his hand in his pocket. He approaches the couple. Time to have some diplomacy. “Hello, listen I overheard that you were from Sherehazade. Would you by any chance know of a Miss Ryla?” He hopes he does not scare the poor lady.

Ryla thought she was about to get an answer from the military guy when suddenly a bulky guy with long black hairs tied in the back approached them. He started to speak to her with this serious look of his and all she could think was ''Is he a creep trying to stalk me and pursue me to the end of the universe... or perhaps an alien trying to capture me ?! .... OMG I have to hide !'' Her next reflex was to hide behind the tired looking man that was with her.

''I-I did nothing I promise ! Please don't arrest me oh bulky and strong looking man !!!'' She clings to Diggle and start doing some angry cat noises. It was obvious that she found the tall bulky man scary and creepy. How is he suposed to know her name ?!

(ATTN : Broken train car)

**This is a collab post between me, Leah7 and Vye-Avis !**

--Southern Shaenet Train, Late Morning--

Chiron tensely came close to Ryushi and spoke softly in his ear, hoping the suspicious man wouldn't hear them. "What should we do with the civilians? I could look after them if you and Nadleeh lure this guy away from the train." Another look at the frightened hostages filled Chiron with a disturbance he hadn't felt in a long time. He could never understand why some people are so inclined to hurt others, despite his profession.

Hearing from Chiron in his ear he simply nod and then look at Nadleeh briefly before looking toward the man chewing on metal again, still waiting for an answer.
Nadleeh's bones jump from her body as the man's head jerks up and his gaze finds Ryushi with an almost feral look and motion. Ryushi's voice was almost like a trigger, pulling the metal eater's focused chewing to a halt. Loudly, he swallows, looking only at Ryushi.

"Oops." He says in response.

''Oops ? ... Is that the only thing you have to say to these dead bodies ?!'' Ryushi said looking angry. He couldn't believe the nerve of this guy. Ryushi could see the spirit forms of the fallen ones around looking at the man with hate also, others were just trying to go back in their bodies crying out.

Chiron didn't bother to take another look at the guy as he inspected the still living bodies huddled together. "Don't worry, we're from White Cross." He began. Luckily, he brought his emergency medical equipment in his briefcase. He used his ability to check each civilian before doing any work.

"Yeah." The man says, taking another bite and crunching down. Nadleeh cringes. He is disgustingly nonchalant and doesn't seem fazed at all.

Ryushi jumps from the train to approach further the man with a plan in his head. Although giving the strenght of the man he didn't know if it would work well or not. When he was close enough he created a reverse barrier in the shape of a sphere around the man. This barrier would basically keep him from getting out of it if strong enough.

''I just established a barrier around you since I judge that you could endanger others lives. Though I am still wondering how you can be so nonchalant about taking peoples lifes. Though I am not searching to fight you could you do so and act responsible of your act in the least ? ''

The man just stood there eating as Ryushi approached. His expression turns to that of annoyance as the barrier rises up.

"I don't like being trapped." The man says with warning. "Let me out. Now."

''After you answer me and promise me you won't hurt anyone else only. You don't like being trapped, I don't like when innocent victims dies or get hurt. I just want to make sure you won't hurt anymore people nor eat anymore parts of this train. There's enough metal in this world you don't need what's here.'' Ryushi said with a serious face, doing his best to keep calm. He didn't like the idea of answering violence by violence.

"You let me out or I get out and I kill you." The mans hands clench into fists. Nadleeh looks at Ryushi nervously and the man's gaze switches to her with a smirk. "I can take her first. While you watch."

Ryushi looked at the man with fury in his eyes. ''So in short... that I let you out or not you'll hurt people ?'' Ryushi send more energie on the barrier for it to get stronger as his feelings to protect only grew stronger. ''What tells me I should trust you won't hurt anyone if I let you out with this attitude then ?'' There's no way letting that man out was a good idea.

"People get in my way, they get hurt. Their problem, not mine." The man shrugs. "You gonna be in my way?"

''This train wasn't in your way it was going on normally. You still attacked it and you feel no shame in killing. Your logics seems to have a few screw loose. '' Ryushi couldn't believe the words of this man. Although at the same time he didn't really know if he would be able to contain him. ''I'll repeat, I'll let you out only if you don't hurt anyone and leave this place.''

"I'm not going anywhere." Thr man looks over the train. "I'm hungry."

Ryushi couldn't believe the guy. ''All right since only the train interest you... if I release you you have to let me evacuate every single person and dead bodies from this train and then you get to continue your meal ... that way we both win something. How's that ?''

"Deal." He says, relaxing his pose.

''Good... We came to an agreement, I'll give you the signal when everyone is evacuated. Please hold on till there.'' He said releasing the barrier and he started walking toward the train.

''Nadleeh, run to Valentino and then split up to help with evacuation. Try to get as many people to help on this to do it in a fast paced, but calm manner alright ? Chiron, try to direct people to help you carry the injured. We're gonna need help if we want to reach the next station by foot. We'll follow the tracks till we reach it.''

While Ryushi and the stranger were conversing, Chiron tried to get some information out of the survivors as politely as possible. As he dressed the wounds of the hurt passengers, he learned that the man ripped off the side of the car, killing a handful and sending others onto the tracks as the train kept moving. Once Ryushi gave his order, Chiron instructed the healthy to help him take the wounded to the back of the train. He felt uneasy about trusting such a heinous criminal, but he had people to evacuate.

Sheridan watched as his guild members prepared to leave. “I will…” He said as Ryla and Diggle walked off. For a moment, he did not move. He sat still and looked down in front of him. His fingers tapped the table absently.

Standing up from his table, he checked that Lark was alright. He then gathered his belongings and made sure his companion was ready before proceeding to the train station.

As soon as he entered the train station, he surveyed the area. With how his past few days had been, he felt some caution was needed. It looked like the train was running late as well. It was all for the better since they needed to join up with Ryla and Diggle. "We should be meeting the others here." He mentioned to Lark and partly to himself.

Jacobi
{ATTN: Open, Ryla, Lark, and Sheridan} #Guild_Key
--UMS Border Territory – train station; Late Morning--

Jacobi watches the young lady closely. He can tell by her response that she is the one he is looking for. Ryla’s reaction does not surprise Jacobi. He knows what he looks like, but this time he was actually ‘trying’ to be friendly. He must admit there was a part of him that wonders what would happen if he opened his eye. He has not scared anyone to death, but there is always a first time.

“Don’t get your panties in a bunch, I just need to talk to ya. I was sent on a combined guild mission to find ya. Don’t worry it won’t interfere with anything else. After you are done accepting the other mission, come over by me. I will be right over there.” Jacobi points to a bench. “I need you to be alone. I am not going to hurt ya. If I was, I would have done it already. Just see me before you board the train. If you don't then I will find you, only I will not be in a good mood.”

He walks away from her and goes over to the aforementioned bench. He sits down and waits for her. If a person gets to close he stares at them until they scramble away. It is not even fun anymore.

[Attn: Noire, Sheridan, Ryla, Open]

He had merely nodded when the lively girl Ryla had written to him instructions to pack and get to the train station. He didn't mind. He had been led to this group, so maybe it might lead him to that door. All that mattered was finding that door.

He aided the man called Sheridan, who seemed lost in his thoughts and sadness. Lark remembered and felt a touch of something, but he couldn't name it. Instead of dwelling on it, he just focused on getting packed. The half-naked chick Noire and her eternal shadow seemed to be doing their own thing. He pondered why they might be coming, as they hadn't lost their hearing, but it was ultimately none of his business. So, instead, he sat there at the station waiting, a staccato rhythm forming in his head as he felt the rhythm of the train station.

(ATTN : Diggle, Jacobi, Lark, Sheridan, Open) #Guild_Key

--UMS Border Territory – train station; Late Morning--

*Collab with Leah for a big part, seeing Lark, Sheridan and Jacobi near the end/Quest details are also mentioned in here.*

Diggle is leaning on Ryla for support, barely able to stand. He moves up towards the table with Ryla, getting closer after moving about in the small crowd. They are almost there when they approached by a rather large man--one that Diggle, unfortunately, recognizes instantly.

S Rank, Valoria. Crap. Diggle's mind begins to race, wondering what the man could possibly want. When he asks after Ryla, his eyes widen in surprise.

Within an instant, he almost falls over as he loses his support in her fear. Ryla moves behind him, using him as a meatshield and he inwardly feels slightly frustrated. This woman is gonna get him killed.

He is ready to speak, but Ryla instantly begins to ramble on about how she's done nothing wrong, making ridiculous sounds and gestures of defiance.

As Jacobi speaks, he is quite friendly and nonchalant, giving Diggle quite a bit of relief. He sighs as the large man-beast walks away, looking over at Ryla with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm a shield, now? Really?" He says, shaking his head.

Ryla nearly fell with Diggle when he lost his balance for a few seconds and listening to the large man speaks, she looked at him wondering if he was still creepy or not. That's when Diggle words woke her from that. ''W-whaaa... OH !'' She instantly came back in front and helped him up a tiny bit. ''I'm sorry ! '' She said with some puppy eyes.

"Well, let's do this quest meeting, first." Diggle says grudgingly, though his tone softens a great deal. "Then, you gotta meet with Jacobi--you do as he says and you behave. He's dangerous. And when you are meeting with him, don't look in that eye if he opens it, okay? Look the fuck away...actually, I don't even know if that would help."

At the mention of quest meeting she nods once and then when he mention Jacobi she nods a second time or rather was about till it clicked in her head. ''Y-You know this guy ? .... '' She commented and then talked in his ear. ''Is he like... a underground stalker that kill people with laser beams coming out of his eyes ?.... Should I put something on my eyes to keep safe or will he burn me with his laser beam ?! .... '' Ryla had apparently made herself a version of the man in her own head. Clearly none of this made sense, but it sort of made sense for her.

Diggle sighs again, shaking his head. "Jacobi is Rank S for Valoria, Ryla. His ability is fear. FEAR. Like, I saw someone piss all over the damn ground because of him."

He looks back at Jacobi over his shoulder nervously, as if afraid that the man could hear them from afar through all of the talking people. "The council has forbid him, specifically, from using any weapons. The last time he had one...he did more than destroy everything and everyone around him. People say he even opened a rift into the spirit realm just from his raw power alone."

Ryla swallow some saliva out of fear herself... she wasn't sure she wanted to be close to the man that much and especially alone. ''I hope I didn't do something I don't remember that would offend him.... Diggle ... Gimme a good luck charm ! Anything ! .... ''

Diggle is ready to reply, but the man with the papers in his hand, clearly a high compnay worker within the train station, begins to speak loudly with an announcement. He looks up at the man with curiosity.

"Listen up! The train will be here soon!" The man says, quietening the nearby Guild members. "This is an emergency! Our other train has been attacked by a magic user of some kind, so what we need is to speed up this train, head them towards the train in question, and get you guys there to protect our cars--and passengers, of course! Now, the tracks are paralell and close, so you wouldn't have to get far to deal with this magic user, whoever it is. So far, only one attacker has been reported and we need that train as intact as possible and running again as soon as possible--we need to get all passengers to their destinations before the Great Storm!"

He pauses a bit, handing out several papers with official quest seals on them. "Use this to complete our quest at the other station and we will give you the train ride free, plus a small payment to you and a notice to your GUilds for your good deed--the sooner this accomplished, the more you will make. If any of you injured, as some of you appear to be, we do have a single healer at our disposal. Do you have any questions?"

Ryla raise her hand. ''S-s-s-should we make a strategy ? '' She wasn't talking as clearly as earlier thanks to something else being on her mind at the moment. ''Also my friend here who is from the same guild is weak at the moment, does he have the time to catch a nap ? Or can the healer fix him ? ''

"Wha?" The guy looks at Diggle, then to another man who nods his head. "Yeah, he can help him. We don't have a plan, we just hope you guys know how to take care of this for us."

''Yay ! You're awesome ! '' She said toward the healer. ''Though... is there any way to contact people you may know that is over there to get more details maybe ? I mean our success rate can only go higher if we know a bit more what we're fighting.''

"Unfortunately, that is not possible." The man replies with a frown, "Which is why we decided to hire as many as we could. No clue who it is, how many there are, or what they can do."

''Woaah... Well... I'll do my best to provide support... I mean after all, our trains needs to get home too ! Right Diggle ? ''

"Yeah." Diggle says, nodding his head weakly. "Can they heal Lark, you think? He'll probably be working with us. Anyway, we accept!"

A couple of other magic users accept after him, copying his last statement with similar tones as they reach for the papers with the seal. THey also, of course, fill in their names and Guild name where needed so that they can be contacted later, if neccessary. The healer moves towards Diggle with a polite gesture.

"Ready?" The man asks.

Diggle nods, "Yeah. Ryla, send Lark over here while I'm doing this before you talk to Jacobi, alright?"

''...Oh ! Right... um... I'll go look for him ! '' Not that she wanted to be done with this task right away considering she had to see Jacobi after. Not only that, but the thought of the good luck charm had totally escaped her mind. She looked around for some time, but not so long and found Lark sitting next to Sheridan in wait. She did a sign that she wanted to write again to communicate with him and when she was given what she needed.. ''Hey Lark ! There's a healer that could heal you here, you should go see Diggle over there.'' When she was sure that she had Lark's attention, she pointed toward Diggle who was being treated by a healer himself. She gave back the book with a smile after writing I'll be right back alright ?'' Ryla then looked at Sheridan and said. ''You should probably join Diggle too, I'll be there in a bit.''

And there it was folks... she had to go see the super scary guy. She went toward Jacobi and approached slowly.... till she sat really carefully at the other end of the bench of which he was sitting. ''Ryla's is now present before you... please leave a message after the beep..... Beeeeep. '' She was talking in a robotic way, since it was pretty much how she felt next to that guy. Then again if he joined the mission on their side... well that could be reassuring.

[Attn: Diggle, Ryla, Sheridan, Open]

The energetic girl Ryla was suddenly before him as he was considering writing a third rhythmic piece, looking to talk to him again. He honestly didn't understand the girl--how was anyone that happy and energetic all the time?

He spoke of a healer being able to help him. That got his attention. He gave her his best fake smile and walked on over to where the man she had pointed was. He looked the worse for wear as well. He stood next to the guy, waiting to see if he could be helped.

[Attn: Ilyana's group]

Valkyrie's grin deepened. She seemingly vanished, reappearing in front of Ilyana, the blade in her hand shooting forward in a thrust aimed for Ilyana's heart.

As Valkyrie's quick movement is brought to Ilyana's attention, she stands perfectly still as the blade is then thrust towards her heart. As she expects, the blade stops a mere two or three inches from her flesh, refusing to make her torso its new home. The sword's voice echoes into Valkyrie's mind as Ilyana's right arm rises after a quick spell is spoken under her breath.

A white blade appears in her right hand as it swiftly moves to strike down at the arm that holds the talking sword. As the sword speaks into her mind with a masculine voice, it sounds mocking and unimpressed.

"Is that really the best damage that you can do?" The sword asks Valkyrie as Ilyana's blade of light readies to remove her arm with a bright slash.

Valkyrie expressed surprise as the blade stopped, halting her forward advance through the weakling. The voice didn't unnerve her--she had no doubt about her power. She spun her arm up in a parry against the slash and followed it up with a stomp kick to the woman's chest. "If the sword can't harm you, my fists will."

Ilyana's attack is blocked, so she moves forward and thrusts her elbow into Valkyrie's sternum, which prevents the intended kick. As the bird-creature speaks with her threat, her other hand charges energy, glowing with a light of its own as she moves with her elbow. The sword's weight doubles.

Valkyrie hid feeling the blow and felt the weight increase of the sword and noted it, focusing instead on the current predicament. She turned her jammed kick into a spin and parry, throwing the lifted foot back to do so and giving a palm strike to the annoyance's ribs followed by a spinning elbow with her sword arm toward Ilyana's head. Unfortunately, she met Ilyana's counterstroke as a blast slammed into her face, knocking her backward.

She hit the ground and rolled, returning to her feet. Her face singed. She looked over and spat blood from her mouth. "That the best you got?" she inquired mockingly, shaking the sword in her hand.

The sword laughs in her mind, it's weight doubling once more. "You really are pathetic. Ilyana has much more finesse."

Ilyana smiles, almost exactly as the sword finishes its taunt. She raises her hand and signals towards two others that then enter the cage a few moments later. The first is the familiar Gren with weapons and armor prepared and a cloak grasped in one arm, and the second is a young man wearing only robes, bearing no evident weapons to the visual eye.

Gren waits just inside the cage, as does the other man. As Gren speaks, his voice is horribly garbled, probably due tot he physical mutilations on his face. Gren says, "All spit fire in that little, weak body."

She looked at Gren. "Ah, Jigsaw," she said. "I would like to thank you for showing me my glorious future!" She sped for him, slamming she blade into the ground and vaulting, planting both her feet in his chest hard.

Gren watches her approach as she jumps towards him from fidty away. He vanishes just as her feet make contact, re-appearing next to the blade that Valkyrie abandoned. He grabs it and vanishes again.

Aa Valkyrie recovers, Gren can be found at Ilyana's side, returning her weapon to her.

Valkyrie was to her feet in an instant. She had thirty tics before she became that horrible weakling again. She sped for Jigsaw with a grin on her face. The bitch could keep her sword, she'd take his from his corpse.

She threw a haymaker followed by a cross, but was met with surprise when instead of Gren's mangled jaw, her hits collided with Ilyana's instead. Damn. She'd planned on taking the man's head off. Instead, Ilyana's jaw swelled and blood trickled out of her mouth.

Valkyrie smiled. "You can take a hit, little one, I'll give you that." She reached for the woman to headbutt her in the face.

Ilyana grunts as she takes the hit, dropping her weapon and holding her hands up against Valkyrie's chest as if to push her away in an attempt to resist being headbutted. The man in the robes leaps onto Valkyrie's back, though is is remarkably heavier than he should have been for his scrawny form. The arms wrapped around her neck are now made of stone, giving an explanation as to the slowness of his movements.

Gren, stepping to the side from around Ilyana, pulls Ilyana backwards and down in efforts to prevent any further damage to the woman.

Valkyrie roars in frustration as Ilyana is pulled out of her reach and stone-hard hands latch onto her throat, closing her windpipe. She slams her elbows into the scrawny rat on her back as her spots start dancing before her eyes, finding herself being slowly dragged to the ground, his weight too much even for her ferocious strength.

Gren remains out of her arm reach as the stone-man remains on top of Valkyrie, holding her down as Ilyana tries to recover more. The man tries to hold her until Sylmeria returns.

Gren says, "She's a lot faster and stronger than I'd give her credit for. But your power, Val, is fleeting."

"You..." Valkyrie gasped out, "talk big...when you have...something to hide behind..." She gave him a defiant smile. "We'll meet again...cowards..."

There was a brilliant glow and a powerful release of energy as Valkyrie dispersed.

"What...where...?" Sylmeria coughed, her smaller neck leaving clearance in the stone hands around her it. Her body ached all over. Dawning comprehension showed on her face and she lowered her face in shame. "Did I...did I kill anyone...?"

Gren shakes his head. "Barely scuffed up anyone."

After Kennot gives the signal, the stone man apologetically gets off of Sylmeria, granting her space and the ability to better breathe. Ilyana picks up her weapon and sheathes it, slowly lowering the cage around them. She smiles, bending down to help Sylmeria stand and offering her a hand.

"S'all good." Ilyana says, "no harm done."

Sylmeria looked at the hand and at the swollen face it belonged to as she took the hand. "I did that, didn't I? I'm sorry." She stumbled once on her feet. Her entire body ached.

"No prob." Ilyana says. "I'm sorry for all of the pain you may feel. Want to see a healer? Shu here weighs a ton."

"More, actually." The bald, robed man says with an accent, sounding rather refined. "My apologies again."

"I-if it's not too much trouble..." Sylmeria said. "It's al-alright," she said to the robed man. "I'm just glad I didn't manage to seriously injure someone..."

As Sylmeria moves up to the healer to be relieved of some of her suffering, Kennot, Gren, Ilyana, and some strange little girl with black eyes and blonde hair all begin to talk to each other in an enclosed circle formation. When Sylmeria is finished, Ilyana gestures for her to come closer.

"Sylmeria, I'd like you to meet Fedra." Ilyana gestures to the little girl, who bows. She's not even five feet tall and looks to be about ten years of age, at most. Her blonde hair is up in pigtails, though her black clothing is far less adorable or lady-like.

Fedra smiles after her curtsy/bow and holds out her hand to shake Sylmeria's. "How do you do."

"Fedra is a councilor." Ilyana continues. "While Gren will be in charge of your physical training, Fedra will take part in your mental training. Kennot has revealed that your ability is nothing like mine--whereas I am but a host to another being, you are yourself, even as Valkyrie. Fedra would like to help you reach into that aspect of yourself."

Now that the battle has ended, most of the on-lookers are moving away from their windows, having lost interest completely now that everyone appears just to be talking. Kennot moves away from the group after the two girls are introduced, bidding them all farewell politely and appears to be headed in a different direction.

"A-a pleasure," she said politely, taking the hand proffered. But all that is lost in the next instant.

"Wh-what?!" she exclaimed incredulous, getting lightheaded and leaning against a wall for support until her head clears. "You want me to...to...to do that again?! W-with a-all d-d-due respect, m-ma'am. I-I'd rather not b-b-be responsible for your face looking that way on a...on a regular basis. Or worse..." she added in a lower voice.

Ilyana laughs. "Sweetie, you let me worry about that. That was nothing, I can handle myself. Besides, it's not always training as Valkyrie. We'll be teaching YOU how to fight better, too--just with non-weapony weapons."

Fedra smiles, her voice soft, small, and adorable, "You must be drained. I have an office on the second floor, and I'd like to talk to you sometime, when you're not busy. Would that be okay?"

Sylmeria sighed. "S-so be it..." she said. "I gave Master Rook my word that I'd give my all in this...this madness..."

She nodded to Fedra. "I don't see why that should be any problem. Any time you'd like, just send for me."

Guilds Role-Play - Page 10 Empty Re: Guilds Role-Play

Post by Red 21st December 2014, 8:31 pm

[ATTN: Inn]
--S'venton; UMS, Targon State, Late Morning-–

Xaroff sticks tightly to the girls after having read the files with Sache. After realizing the purpose behind obtaining a dress and seeing Attica's choice of attire, he is far from happy or comfortable. However, Nadia is in charge and they do things her way.

After the entire morning has passed into early noon, their investigation continued without interruption or oddities. With relief, they successfully inspected all of the biuldings that had melted and were now ready to interview witnesses.

Several town citizens have already lined up at the tavern entrance just outside, upon the mayor's request for this purpose to make the interviews go by with efficiency.

As Nadia asks the questions, Xaroff sits nearby, greeting each person and introducing each of their group by name with a friendly manner. As Nadia is being somewhat more business like for the sake of the interviews, he decides to save her voice btween each one to spare her some vocal labor.

All is going well as their sixth witness, a young lady by the name of Abbygail, walks up in a lovely dress of lace and flowered patterns. She gets close, moving to the front of the line and introducing herself politely after Xarrof's introductions.

She speaks with a shy smile and the atmosphere around Xaroff shifts aa he feels the deep hunger and need for Abbygail's flesh. With wide eyes, Xaroff rises to his feet before she finishes her sentence, his arm reaching out for her with as swift as a movement as he can manage.

His arm is outstretched, palm facing outwards over the interview table as he moves forward in his haste and presses it forward with his knees in his panic.

Within a breath, he exhales her name with alarm as the darkly cloaked figure appears behind her, its left arm embracing her waist as its free hand covers her mouth.

Abbygail's name leaves Xarrof's lips completely as she and her captor vanish from sight.

Nadia stood with a start as the man appeared, grabbing Abbygail and vanishing with her in an instant. She shoved the table out of the way in her haste to reach them, but it was too late, and she stood where moments before Abbygail had been.

She turned to look at Xaroff, who seemed confused. "What is it?" she asked.

"I...I don't know. Something is off." Xaroff speaks with uncertainty. "Sache, check out that building!"

Sache looks over at the melting mess and runs towards it for a better look.

Nadia looked over at the people who had been lining up - they were starting to panic. "Xaroff, go with him," she said - mute as he was, they'd have no sign of something happened to Sache as well while he was alone. Nadia turned and raised her hands, trying to get the crowds attention.

"Everyone please, I need all of you to stay calm," she said loudly. "I want everyone to make their way calmly inside the building and give us room to work."

Xaroff nods, following reluctantly. He doesn't wish to leave the girls' side, but hr moves to inspect the building. He gets nothing from it...it makes no sense...it is just slowly liquifying, somehow. He is confused.

As he tries to focus on the building, moving about it behind Sache with careful movements, his mind keeps slipping back to Abbygail's disappearance, replaying it over and over in his mind. A scowl moves onto his face as he tries to figure out why it seems so...wrong. He can't wrap his fingers around it.

His head jerks up as he realizes Sache has been signaling to him. He apoligizes and learns that Sache can't see anything explanatory about the building, either.

Nadia got the witnesses herded into the tavern and apologized to the owner, asking him to keep an eye on things for her so she could catch up with the boys. She grabbed Attica's hand.

"Stay with me, okay?" she said, looking down at her as she moved to meet up with Xaroff and Sache.

Sache signs about the objects and Xaroff nods his head with understanding as Attica and Nadia approach. Attica looks nervous and Xaroff knows that if he used his ability more fully, he would sense fear from her.

"Not just the building has melted. Everything inside is melting, too." Xaroff says to Nadia.

Nadia could tell Attica was nervous too, and she was reconsidering keeping her with them. Would she be safe in the tavern with the rest of the witnesses?Nowhere is safe, if we're going to be honest with ourselves.

"Any signs that anyone is or was here? Xaroff?" If he'd picked someone up he'd have told her by now, but it was worth making sure. She squeezed Attica's hand.

Xaroff shakes his head, looking frustrated. "No. No, nowhere around here. This building was empty for all of this morning."

He looks at the luquid mess, pondering what building this was and what purpose it served. He has no clue what it was or what was in it, due to the severity and swiftness of the damage. He didn't expect it to fall apart so quickly.

"What about when she first disappeared? Did you catch anything then?"

Nadia, her hand in Attica's, fought the urge to pace. Why the melting? It clearly wasn't supposed to be a distraction, everyone noticed. A side effect? A cost, even? All magic had its cost after all, but why would it be this? What cost did this hold?

Xaroff puts his hands up to his head, scrunching his face with irritation. He begins pacing, replaying the moment over and over in his head.

When he speaks, his words are angry and confused. "I-I don't know! I can't-"

"You okay, Xar?" Attica is scared by his behavior, the fear coming out in her voice.

Nadia embraced Attica from behind, holding her reassuringly against her. If everywhere is unsafe she needs to get out of here. This was too much for a child. "Sache, can you take Attica back to the tavern quick?" she said, her eyes scanning the melted building.

Her eyes widened as a thought occurred to her. She had been assuming teleportation or invisibility, but what if it wasn't quite that? What if it was something else? What if this melting was a cost? Could he be.. whats the word... a dimensional shift? Could he have transported her to this building, but a different version of it, one they couldn't see? Was something going on here right where they stood?

Xaroff jumps forward, eyes wide and arms reaching out almost desperately. "No!"

He steps back, forcing himself to quiet down with a cringe. "No. You two stay close to me. Real close. I'm the only one to see him coming. I'm the only one."

Does that even help? Nadia took a deep breath, distancing herself from... this. He was starting to scare her too, and she needed to pull back.

She didn't want to say it in front of Attica either, but it had to be discussed. What she was thinking. "Okay," she said. "We're staying. Xaroff. Breathe for me, I need your mind right now."

Nadia took another breathe, mentally pulling back even further, as if she was watching a play. "Xaroff. What if this..." she gestured to the building, "isn't an effect? What if it's a side effect?"

"That...that makes sense." Xaroff says after a pause. "As of yet, all melted buildings have been empty, so if the perpetrator wanted to cause harm, it could explain why more chaos hasn't been caused."

"Then what sort of magic would cause a side effect like this?" she said steadily. The side effect was always tied closely to the effect of the magic itself. Destroy the building to shift it elsewhere? Some sort of... what's the word, like the building is out of phase with us? Even if that was true, what could they do about it?

"Transference magic is most likely..." Xaroff looks to Sache, who nods in agreement. "The question is where they transfer to and why."

Nadia narrowed her eyes in thought. I am thinking too narrowly, it could be any variety of transference magic. "I think we all can guess the why," she said pointedly. "To commit the crime. So the concern is where."

"But what crime?" Attica asks. "I mean...are we on a clock? Is he killing them? How long do we have to save the last victim?"

Nadia rubbed her eyes with her hands. It was a good point. "I don't know," she said. "But it's probably safest to assume we are on a clock."

"Okay." Xaroff says, "Let's think defensive. How can we prevent future kidnappings? Close-knit buddy systems?"

"You saw how she vanished," Nadia said. "Nearly the whole town was there, a buddy system won't prevent further kidnappings." Her mind turned briefly to the photo she found in her room. Two different people or the same crime? "The only way this ends is if we find where he's taking them."

Xaroff sighs with frustration. He has no idea how to find where they are going

Diggle nods to Lark as he arrives, the healer looking him over and healing him rather quickly. He is surprised at the speed of the overall process, but smiles at Lark after the deed is done and after having thanked the healer for his time.

"Diggle." He says, holding out his hand. Now that the lad can hear, the situation calls for a proper greeting.

Lark felt a "pop" as his hearing came back. Then the noise of the world came back in a torrent and he flinched. In a way, the silence had been nice, but then he heard the full rhythms of the world around him and already music was being written in his head as he processed it. He stood that way for a full minute before he blinked and realized someone was in front of him.

"Hello," he said in a cheerful voice. What had the man said? He held out his hand in an introductory greeting. He took it. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I didn't catch what you just said."

"Diggle." He repeats happily, "Name's Diggle. Nice to meet ya."

"Oh! Yes. Hi," Lark said. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance. You're with the hyper girl, Ryla." Cheerfulness was easy enough to emulate, and most people never looked past the surface. Though, since that vision, he hadn't had to put a lot of effort faking it, he just tapped into that hope of the door.

"They are paying us to do a mission while in the train. If you help, we will cut you in." Diggle adds, "Though...I have no idea what your skills are."

"I see," said Lark, "that's no problem, then. Nothing's free, as they say." He thought for a moment. "I'm a musician by trade," he said finally. "I can use my music to bolster people--orif the danger gets too close to home, then I can focus it as an attack. Will that be acceptable?"

"Interesting." Diggle replies as he leads Lark closer to where the train is about to be. It is arriving. "Ryla really likes you."

Lark did his best impression of a laugh--he'd gotten better. "I get the impression she finds most people agreeable," he said. "Of course, preventing someone from suffocating to death also doesn't hurt."

"I am sure." Diggle says with a chuckle. What a delightful fellow. "I look forward to working with you."

Lark nodded. "Mmhmm! Likewise."

They looked on as the train was arriving. Soon, the conductors were issuing people to get on board. The adventure would start soon, it seemed.

Finally the young Ryla comes over to him. She sits at the very edge of the bench and greets him oddly. “I ain't going to take up too much of your time. I have other people to meet as well. As I said, I am on a joint guild mission. I need to give you this.” He pulls out a good sized key. It is a gold one with fancy scroll work on it. “You should not tell anyone that you have it, and keep it with you at all times. Other than that I have no clue what it is for. Now, I have to go see about delivering the rest of these.” He looks at Ryla slyly. “Be glad that you aren't my opponent...this time.” He hears the train whistles blow as the train stops. “Goodbye Ryla.” He stands and slings his bag over his shoulder.

When the man started to speak, she looked a bit in his direction, but avoided eye contact as she was still rather a bit afraid of what the man would do to her. However when he took out a key, it picked her curiosity. Is it to open some kind of shiny treasure ?...'' she thought wondering about the key source. She took the key that had a good size to be honest. She hid to face the back of the bench and looked in her bag for a rope quickly and used it to make a necklace with the key and place it around her neck. She hid the key under her blouse which was under her one piece suit.

Ryla was rather scared by his last sentence when she turned back to look at him, accidently looking at his face. She just nods and run toward the others.

(ATTN : Lark, Diggle, Open)

Joining with Diggle and Lark, she was happy to see that Lark seemed to be hearing again. ''You're healed !!! YEAH !'' Ryla exclaimed pulling Lark into a hug. She did not get any vision this time however. ''Would you like to still come with us so we may properly thank you at our guild ?

It didn't take long for the girl to find them, in her usual high spirits, as usual. He nodded. "Sure," he said. "But I can't stay too long. We wandering minstrels get antsy if we're in a place for too long." Hospitality was rare, so it would be better if he could get supplied for the trip and maybe find some information. They seemed to be a guild of archaeology, so maybe they might have some records regarding this door. Only time would tell.

[Attention: Ilyana, Slymeria, Nymeria, Kennot, Open]
[Location: Infinity Edge Training field; Perta City, Ventya State - UMS Territory; Late Morning]

His vision was barely even cleared up much at all when the whole sparing match was well and over. Plus there was so much chatter going on, in so many places that it was really hard to make out much of anything. If he squinted a bit he could roughly make out the shapes of people. Chalk this up to just another reason why Xiax hated his power, the whole mess had him super tensed up. After all anyone could walk up and shank him right now, it really got the paranoia to start running rampant.
Turning around, Xiax squinted hard as he worked his way back out of those gathered all together. If he could just get his back to a wall, he knew he'd feel more comfortable, more safe.
"Excuse me."
"Let me through."
"Pardon me."
Xiax kept it up, meeting fairly little stubborn people. It was really frustrating to get out without touching anyone. He couldn't push his way through, because he was super paranoid about touching everyone. After all everyone here was a magic user, or just about everyone. There where a few of those normal nurses, but he just couldn't risk touching anyone here. There was the wall, finally something solid he could put behind him for a bit. Xiax settled in against the wall for now.
Maybe if this new Blazing Sword girl was undergoing training, then perhaps Ilyana or someone was going to start with him soon. If he ran off now he might be wasting their time, and he'd hate to do that.

[ATTN: Fuyu]
--Dye Factory; UMS Border Territory--

As the people that have been saved run off in fear, they realize that they cannot run very far. The ground has practically sunk in due to the explosive damage, and they are trapped within the rubble and debris--somewhat as if they are trapped in a pit.

They call out for help and the two magic users, scaly and the fire shielded man, both look annoyed, but step away impatiently.

"We're here to hurt you. Not innocents." The Iron Dragon user says, "Go get them out and then we can finally fight. I want some action."

"Ah, now 'e cares," he said, still not looking over at him. "Shoulda thoughta that before they blew this place up." He pulled one man from the wreckage and straightened, slapping his hands together. "This'll go faster if ya loonies help out," he called over his shoulder as he made his way towards the people trying to get out.

The other two looked uncomfortable, but just stood there, not offering to help. Seere sighed, turning back to the rubble and assisting those trapped.

He boosted the last civilian up out of the ‘pit’ that had formed. “Gimme a hand 'ere,” he said, raising his hand to the guy he’d just helped up. The man nodded, grasping his forearm and pulling him up the side of the pit.

He dusted himself off and looked down at their two assailants and Fuyu. They all seemed eager to fight, but now that everyone was safe… yeah, he wasn’t feeling it. He’d gotten his ass kicked too many times to be interested now. “Seeya round, loonies,” he said, flipping the both of them off before turning and hightailing it out of there.

Guilds Role-Play - Page 10 Post_s10

[ATTN: Seere]
--UMS Border Territory, Southern Council State; Noon--

As Seere makes his narrow escape, a familiar, grungy face finds him with a grin that spreads from ear to ear. It's a short boy with an average build, lean muscles with a dirty, disheveled look. The boy laughs, jogging up to Seere and wrapping his arm around Seere's shoulders for just a moment and ruffling his hair for a brief second before releasing him.

"Heeyyy!" The street rat says, "Seere, it's been a while!"

His name is unknown and most just call him Rat. Most know why he has that nickname, but many have clung to the ties of ignorant bliss, claiming openly that they did not wish to know. Those that do know have told them that they are wise for this decision.

Seere and Rat have worked together on the rails, as well as a few other..."side" jobs that many people of the common populace would have a problem with. Rat's a thief, a diplomat, a saleskid, mediator...whatever he has to be.

"I was about to head west and go see what that new Guild looks like. They finally got a Guild Hall, I have learned." Rat says mischievously, "Wanna check it out with me? If we go now, we can catch it before the storm and then they'll have to grant us shelter overnight."

Guilds Role-Play - Page 10 Post_s10

[ATTN: Xiax, Slymeria, Nymeria]
--Infinity Edge Training field; Perta City, Ventya State - UMS Territory; Late Morning--

Ilyana sighs. There is so much of the day left and so much to do. She looks about the group and ponders on what would be best to do.

Ilyana says, "Okay, I'd like Kennot and Gren to work with Nymeria and Xiax and we'll give Sylmeria a break. What I want to see is as many members out here training today as possible. We need improvement. Progress."

Gren replies, "Ilyana, she can at least do some runs around the track. Her head's out, not her body."

Ilyana nods her head in agreement. "Very well. They are in your hands."

Guilds Role-Play - Page 10 Post_s10

[ATTN: Ryla, Sheridan, Jacobi, Lark]
--UMS Border Territory, Ventya State; Train Station; Noon--

The train arrives at the station, finally, and members are allowed to board while the aids assist with larger and heavier luggage and the train conductor is switched out.

Diggle subtly asks what Jacobi wanted to Ryla, but she is unable to reply when they are interrupted by calls for more people to board as soon as possible. It is obvious that the boarding is being rushed.

When all are aboard, the train starts to movie and heads South towards White Cross, where it will then head towards Sheherazade after a turn and a few stops.

The ride continues for a couple of hours uninterrupted, but this does not last for very long. As the sun rises into the sky's center, brightly declaring the noon hour, the train screeches to a slow and steady halt far ahead of the nearest train stop that is scheduled.

Many of the passengers stand up and walk about, murmuring to each other and looking out the windows with interest and confusion. There isn't a town nearby, and it would seem that they are still in central Ventya state. The train on the other, parallel track, which should be passing them by now, is not in sight.

Guilds Role-Play - Page 10 Post_s10

[ATTN: Nadia]
--S'venton; Nothern UMS, Targon State; Noon-–

The Quinsenterra members are discussing things further, going over various possible preventative measures and trying to figure out where a secret shelter could be to hide someone around here could be.

The Mayor is quite unhelpful, having no idea where any group of hostages could be successfully hidden within the town, nor nearby. After some time, he also does change the subject of their discussion to something else important.

The Mayor says, "The Great Storm. The Council has forewarned us all of its coming. Although we are in the central area and have far less damage to fear, the rains and winds will not be easy for us."

Pointing to a large building made of an odd stone, he continues. "We all gather in the storm shelter and the walls are then fortified with magic--but our fortifier, Greggor, passed away in his sleep a few months ago. We need to get everyone inside and do what we can to keep everyone safe. And supplies--the Storm threatens to begin just within a few mere hours--the rains have already started in Holstein and it will find us soon."

The Mayor's voice rambles on with a mild panic, pushing the words out with a force as if the air within him is swelled up from all of the fear that has built up within him.

Guilds Role-Play - Page 10 Post_s10

[ATTN: Kaimele]
--Terrenia City, Crye Estate; Noon--

The sun has risen to announce the afternoon and Lady Crye still has much work to do. The party decorations are not fully set up, nor are all of the foodstuffs--but this is not the main issue.

The doors have already been opened up to the Guests, as the rain is slowly getting heavier as the hours pass and the Great Storm will be upon them within a couple of hours.

The entire capitol city, Terrenia, has had protections placed up by the Blazing Swords Guild. As they are closer to the continent's edge than most would like to be during times like these, this is something that Lady Crye is quite appreciative to have.

Since most will be staying the night, all of the guest rooms have received the most attention, to make way for comfort and luxury for all that will stay, and all of them are slowly being filled up with luggage and belongings to last the night.

It's going to be a long night, but a great party. Placing a smile on her face, Lady Crye moves to the door to greet more of the guests. Her father is already about, mingling with those that are in need of entertainment and chatter.

Guilds Role-Play - Page 10 Post_s10

[ATTN: Chiron, Ryushi]
--Southern Targon State; Trainwreck, Late Morning--

The Conductor rushes over to Ryushi as the train begins to be emptied, several of the people working together to empty the cars of luggage and the more panicked passengers. As he realizes what is happening, he speaks with a hushed panic, anger showing through.

He says, "You can do this! This train belongs to the Tri'an Comp'ny and you can't just--just--hand it over! He's gonna eat it!"

Then, he yells out to everyone. "WAIT! STOP! If we get out here, we'll have no where to go before the Great Storm hits us!!"

Kaimele
{ATTN: Open}--Terrenia City, Crye Estate; Noon--

The gates were just being opened as Kaimele arrives. There was a good group already gathered. They start to move in quickly to avoid the worsening weather. Kamiele puts on her Clementina attitude as she approaches the back of the crowd.

She can hear the beginnings of chatter. 'Look, there is Clementina. I wonder if she will be performing tonight?...We are in for treat if she does. I saw an impromptu show she put on by the fountain earlier and she was fantastic.'

Some of the bolder people stop her and ask for her autograph. Which she cheerfully signed. Internally she is humbled that people love her for her dancing. However she loves to be Clementina. How often can people play two different facades?

She finally gets inside. Her mouth drops as she looks around the entryway. This room is almost the size of the first floor of her whole house. Not only does the sizes stun her, but the furnishing and décor do as well. She is almost afraid to touch anything.

An attention grabbing cough from a uniformed man catches her attention. “Miss Clementina, I have been assigned to help you with your bags. We have a room prepared for you and I will bring your bags to it.”

“Oh thank you so much.” She hands over the little cart. The man assists her with her cloak and hat as well. She makes to follow him.

“Don't worry, you will be shown to your room later. Why don't you mingle with the other guests.” The servant winks at her.

She looks around the room filled with people who she only knows by name. Influential people that a person like her never get to meet in her lifetime. She smirks burying away the feelings of inadequacy. She finds Lady Crye greeting the guests. Clementina waits for an opening. “Good afternoon Lady Crye, you have a beautiful home. It is such a pleasure to be invited to dance at your party.”

Jacobi
{ATTN: Open, Ryla, Lark, and Sheridan}
--UMS Border Territory, Ventya State; Train Station; Noon--

Jacobi waits impatiently for the train to stop. Eventually they start letting people on. Jacobi goes towards the back of the car he enters. He takes a seat next to the window. He wonders if anyone will be brave enough to sit by him.

He closes his eyes once the train starts moving, hoping to get a nap in before reaching White Cross. He does not know what to make of that guild. They are a bunch of freaks who believe in mumbo jumbo crap. They are not ass kissers like Quinn is, nor grave robbers like Shez, but they still make him uncomfortable. Once he gets to the stop, he will use the compass to find the next recipient.

It is a few hours before Jacobi is almost thrown forward. The train is stopping unexpectedly. The sheep around him act as he expect them. They are wandering around looking outside. Jacobi stands, throws his bag over his shoulder. He walks to the front of the train car. “I am sorry sir, we are asking...” Jacobi sneers at he poor employee who freezes upon seeing him. He continues to the next train car. He hopes to get to the conductor to find out what is going on.

[Attn: Ilyana's group]

Sylmeria sighed as she stopped walking away after Ilyana's initial dismissal and Gren had cancelled it. She wanted nothing more than to go to her room and hide in the corner. The healer had already come over and her aches had melted away, though, so it should be fine. Without a word, she began running laps around the area, lost in her own thoughts as she managed a couple laps before she started feeling winded.

[Attn: Diggle, Ryla, Open]

Lark chose a seat and immediately began writing a new composition to go with the drum rhythm he'd already written. He had been dying to, but with all the activity, it had been the first chance he'd gotten. He was so lost in his work, as usual, that he didn't even notice when the train came to an abrupt stop and continued to work.

[Attn: Ilyana, Gren, Open]

With Sylmeria's training supposedly finished, Nymeria wondered what Ilyana had next in mind. She then heard she'd be working with Gren, Xiax, and another member she wasn't familiar with. While Nymeria didn't know what to expect from training with Gren and Xiax, she held her tongue diligently. She was surprised Sylmeria wasn't allowed to rest until the girl began running laps unannounced. The girl certainly had an interesting personality. Nymeria walked up to Ilyana, feeling ready for whatever she had to do.

[ATTN: Rat]
--UMS Border Territory, Southern Council State; Noon--

Seere mimiced Rat's grin upon seeing him. "'Ey little guy," he said as Rat embraced him, holding him tight a moment and just lifting him off the ground when he first tried to pull away. He released him and took a step back, crossing his arms. Man, running away was a great decision.

"New Guild Hall?" he said, trying to remember what the name of this new guild was supposed to be. Someone had probably mentioned it to him before...

He glanced up at the sky as he mentioned the storm. He wasn't real keen on going back to Walsh right now, and probably wouldn't be for a while, so... "What the hell, yeah," he said.

[ATTN: Mayor and Co.]
--S'venton; Nothern UMS, Targon State; Noon-–

The mayor's fear was obvious, and Nadia nodded, adopting a calming smile. "Of course," she said. "We will assist you however we can." Her mind was still deep in the issue of the missing women, but they couldn't just ignore the storm.

She looked at the building. When was the last time someone was in there...? The last storm? She wanted to ask - but no, surely if that's where he was keeping the women someone would have noticed, or they would find out soon enough.

"If we can't fortify the building magically we'll just have to do it some other way," she said. "Mr. Mayor, I'm going to need you to help mobilize the town for me. Send whoever is able our way. Xaroff and Sache, you two see if you can figure out some way to fortify those walls non-magically. I'll work on supplies."
