Elemental Reign Role-Play

{Attn: Juri, Fai}

"I am quite impressed, Lady Juri..." Xander manages to say in between strikes. "Your Uncle has taught you quite well." He finds himself taking a few steps back from the intensity of her attacks. "My dear, you confuse 'sucking up' with diplomacy. It is one of the things I take pride in. The ability to charm, get the information I need, then use it to my advantage at a later time if necessary."

Xander is starting to feel the weight of both his elemental and swords training, but he will not let this young lady beat him. He strikes at her more hoping to push her back.

(ATTN: XANDER, FAI)
"You're definition of 'Diplomacy' seems to be a bit off, love. But I change my opinion of you, I never once thought of you as a con man, I see the light now." Juri herself is beggining to feel tired, but has no intention of being beaten by a man such as him. " Thank you, now if you will continue to be impressed when I beat you? Ah, but this victory would mean very little, concidering you were all tuckered out with your training sessions to begin with. A pity really." She holds her ground and proceeds to block Xanders blows.
She hasn't been able to land one on him and that angers her. But at the same time he hasn't been able to land one on her, which is a victory in its own right.
"But on that earlier comment you were correct. Your so called 'Diplomacy' is one of the noticably few things in you, worthy of pride."

{Attn: Juri, Fai}

Xander smiles charmingly at Juri. He takes a step back, lowering his sword. He pauses for a brief moment hoping she would get the hint and bows. "Good show Milady! You have done your Uncle proud. I haven't been more entertained during a sparring match in quite some time. You must also be exhausted by the traveling you did. Please allow me to make myself presentable then I will escort you back to my place."

He also bows at Fai and heads for the baths. Xander smirks as he lowers himself in. *Quite a delightful young lady, if only she wasn't so pigheaded...

(ATTN: XANDER, FAI)
Juri takes the hint, smiles, and gives a bow as well.
"Thank you for a wonderful match." She says politely.
As soon as he leaves however, the scowl she had been supressing comes to her face and she gives a snarl.
"He pisses me off. I have never met someone that I want to punch so BADLY in my entire LIFE." She growled. Her eyes narrowed on the place she had seen him last before turning to Fai. She takes a seat next to her. Leaning back and muttering something about how Xander is a 'pompous bastard'.

(ATTN: FAI)
Juri gives another snarl. "He's a vile, disgusting RAT with no sense of right ot wrong. All he cares about is money and reputation. He can go in a HOLE and ROT for all I care. He's not attractive, he's a wolf in sheeps clothing. Don't let it fool you Fai, he's cruel and manipulative. He'll use you."
She impatiently taps her foot on the ground.

(ATTN: FAI)
"His uncle doesn't act as such and if it were merely his attitude, I could overlook that. But he shows no remorse! He doesn't care that he things poorly of the low class!"
"No...We aren't punk kids. We will behave while we are in this house...or at least behave civily."

(ATTN: JURI)

"Just a thought." Fai said softly with a smile. "When we have the time, we should work on your bending." Fai added quietly, shuffling her arms back inside her robes. Her stomach gave a small raspy noise. "Oh dear. That salad we had before was delicious. Do you think they have salads here?" Fai asked softly.

{Attn: Juri, Fai, Ares}

Xander steps out of the bathing areas in all high high class finery. He is wearing a velvet emerald suit. His long black hair is pulled back in a ponytail that falls to the middle of his back. A warm smile is on his face as he walks over to the two young ladies. He bows to both of them holding out a hand to each. "I do hope I didn't keep you waiting too long ladies. Now please allow me the honor to escort two beauties to my humble home."

He waits for them to each take his hand. Once they are outside he extends his arm to each of them, unable to do it before. Then they continue on their way. Once at the Montenegro estate Xander bows to them again. "Please excuse me, I do have some pressing matters to deal with. If you do need a tour, just ask one of the servants, they will be more than happy to show you around the estate. If you can wait I will also be more than happy to also."

Xander enters his home and goes immediately to his room. He bumps into two servants on the way. He yells at them angrily, barely sparing a glance. "Be careful you two, or I will have you fired." He walks away mumbling about incompetent help.

He goes to his room and takes off his sword. He then goes to his dresser to say a prayer to his mother only something is missing...His Mother's necklace...It is gone. "DAMN IT."

He races out of his room, yelling the whole way "LOCK DOWN THE ESTATE, SEARCH EVERYONE! I'VE BEEN ROBBED!!!!"

(ATTN: XANDER, FAI)
Juri reluctantly takes his arm, only as a sign of courtosy and respect. Once they part, Juri frowns.
"Well GEE someones on the pompous side today." She sighs. She is about to turn when she heard Xanders voice boom through the halls. Juri's head snaps around.
"Wha-?" She then hears the news, and she couldn't help the slightly snide feeling.
"Serves the bastard right.." She mutters. "But come on Fai, let's move and find the theif. I admit he's an ass, but we may as well pay our respects to our host."

[ATTN: Xander, open]

Ares almost had a heart attack when he and Caed ran into someone as they left the room. The guy didn't seem too concerned, though, and let them continue on their way. Caed smiled evilly at Ares.

"We could rob this whole place and no one would notice!" he laughed.

Before Ares could say anything, someone started yelling.

"Shit! He noticed we stole it!" Ares exclaimed.

The two began to run down the hall, trying to make it back to the servant's hall before they were caught. They got there and opened the door, only to be grabbed by some guards from behind.

"Sorry, servants, no one's leaving. Now to search you..." one guard said.

The guards held the two boys firmly and began searching. Ares began to panic. They were going to be caught and executed. This was it. He was so pissed at Caed for insisting on going this far.

"What's this...?" the guard said, pulling the necklace from Caed's pocket.

"Master Xander! Is this what you were looking for?" another guard called.

(ATTN: JURI, CAED, ARES)

Fai's eyes snapped up and she grabbed Juri's hand. "Quickly-!" She hissed quietly, quickly going inside pulling Juri along. She heard angry voices and a bad feeling that the thieves who had taken this jewel would be executed. They came across the servants being checked and two boys with dirty, thinned faces. "What is going on here?" Fai asked quietly to the guards.

(ATTN: XANDER, CAED, ARES, FAI)
Juri heard the gaurds call and rushed over to the boy. Her brow furrowed slightly. She waited for their host to arrive before saying or doing anything. She looked on the boys with an expression of pity, and began to rummage in her pockets for something.
"Listen, I understand you two are in difficult situations, but theivery isn't really the best thing..." Juri sighed. She knew from the looks on their faces and from what they had done that they must have been from low or irrev class.

{Attn: Juri, Fai, Ares}

Bastian walks over to the guard holding the necklace. He holds it in his hands, fighting to regain his composure. "Yes that's it. Please return it to my room and stand guard, I will handle these two."

He ignores Juri and Fai, grabbing a hold of the young man's shirt. "HOW DARE YOU STEAL FROM ME!" He looks the boy in the eyes. His eyes widen as he releases him. Xander takes a step back and bows deeply "Forgive me your Majesty...I didn't realize it was you. But why would you take my mother's necklace, you know how important it is to me." Xander's panicked looks turns to a smile. "You were trying to prank me weren't you? Life at the castle boring you again?"

Xander turns to the guard. "Please show the prince and his companion to his room, and get him something decent to wear."

He then turns back to the Juri and Fai, nervously laughing "Sorry you had to see that miladies. The Fire Nation Prince is a known prankster." He looks away sudden sadness in his eyes and a somber tone to match. "Still I wonder why he went after her necklace...If you'd excuse me I have a guard to relieve."

(ATTN: XANDER, FAI)
Juri looks at Fai, complete shock in her eyes but her face tells a diffrent story.
"Prince?" She mutters. "Well, you aren't showing us anything that we didn't know was already there."
At the word 'necklace' her hand goes to her throat to assure herself it was there. She felt it underneath her clothing and give a slight breath of releif.
She sighed and looked to Fai.
"How about we go to our room? You said you wanted to talk to me about something." She sighed and turned, walking off down the hall.
She was glad that escapade was over and that no one was ever harmed.

[ATTN: Xander, Open]

Ares feared the worst when the guy they ran into earlier came over, grabbed him, and screamed at him. He knew he was a goner. But suddenly, the guy started being nice to him.

"P-prince?" Ares stared back at Xander with confusion.

Caed elbowed him and whispered, "Play along, this is the perfect chance."

"U-um, right. It gets so boring around there, y'know?" he had no idea how to talk like a prince.

How could he mistaken me for a prince? What's going on...? Thoughts swirled around in his head as the guards led him and Caed through the large house.

(ATTN: JURI)

"Of course.. It's important, Juri.." Fai said softly. She followed her friend down the hall to a set of doors. Fai pushed open the doors which led them to a wide and expansive room with two, huge beds. Their trunks were already set inside and a little table laid in the middle of the room. "What a beautiful room.." Fai whispered with a smile.

{Attn: Ares}


Xander goes back into his room, thanking and dismissing the guard. He looks at his mother's necklace and smiles. He takes a few minutes to completely regain his composure before speaking to the prince again.

He has to laugh at the ingenuity of the prank though. Waiting until the staff was busy to have guests to launch his joke. Taking the necklace though was wrong, for the prince knew what the necklace meant to him. Not trusting it to be safe anymore, he puts the necklace around his neck and tucks it under his shirt. Figuring it was enough time for the prince to settle in, he leaves his room heading for the Prince's.

Xander raps on the door lightly "Your Majesty, it is Xander. If you have the time, we need to talk."

[ATTN: Xander]

Ares and Caed were escorted into a room, the door closed behind them. The room was even more amazing than the last one they had been in. There were some clothes laid out on the bed.

Ares turned to Caed. "What's wrong with these people?! How can they think I'm the prince?!"

"Stop freaking out! This is an amazing stroke of luck!" Caed said, going over to inspect the clothes.

"But what will they do when they find out I'm not really the prince?!"

Caed shrugged his shoulders. "We'll deal with that when it comes time. Just act like a prince for now."

Ares sighed, he had no idea how to act like a prince. What would happen if he blew it? He walked over to the bed and took the outfit that was there. He quickly got changed, feeling weird the entire time.

"Whoa, you kinda do look like a prince," Caed said.

Ares looked at himself in a mirror. He didn't really see it, to him he was just a skinny, dirty kid playing dress up. He whirled around toward the door when he heard the knock.

"Um, come in!" he called. Lies immediately started flying around in his head.

{Attn: Ares}

Xander enters the room he crosses his arms and looks at the Prince. "You do realize you are lucky it is I who caught you. If it had been my father he would have paraded you back to the castle. I for one know you father is edgy right now."

"You are welcome to stay as long as you need. I will calm your father down so he doesn't lock down the whole town. While you are here please treat my servants as if they were your own. All I ask for in return is that you please stay out of trouble.

We also have some guests here from the Earth Nation, the Wakapa family. They are friends of my father's. I would avoid the young niece, Juri. She may be high class, but for some reason she loves the low class scum. Is there anything you need before I head out?"

(ATTN: FAI)
Juri sat on the bed, looking up at her friend.
"So what did you want to talk to me about?"

(ATTN: JURI)

"We should go see the Overseer. He could possibly unravel this mysterious about the woman who's impregnated with the next Avatar.. It's like you said. There's something terribly wrong.." Fai said quietly, not wanting for others to hear. "He can look into the future, Juri.. We can see what will happen.." Fai whispered, taking Juri's hands in her own.

[ATTN: Xander]

Ares just nodded as Xander went on about various things. When asked if he needed anything, Ares replied, "No, I think I'm good."

The thought of having free reign of the place excited him; he had suddenly gone from irrev to royalty in one fell swoop. Though he knew at some point he would have to meet the king, and he knew that wouldn't go well.

{Attn: Ares, open}

Xander nods. " Very well. Dinner will be at the next chime, you are more than welcome to join us in the dining hall or have it here. I have to be in the dining hall since Dad is at the castle right now. Have fun, and stay low."

Xander leaves the room and checks on the dinner preparation. He wonders if the others will be joining him for dinner. After alerting the staff about the extra guests he goes to his room and waits for the chime.
