Three Kingdoms Role-Play - Page 10 Empty Three Kingdoms Role-Play

Post by JerriLeah7 28th November 2011, 7:15 pm

First topic message reminder :

Three Kingdoms, Brynom, Inlantria, and Aandrin, are all in alliance with each other, sworn to aid each other at all costs in any event that one should find itself at war with another Kindom outside of their region. They are all located next to each other in a large, circular edge of the continent, named Arzworn, in the world of Carid. They actively trade, work, and support each other in all needs and never ask for assistance outside of this region.

It is the the season of winter, where lakes freeze, the ocean is wild from the icy winds, and the snow conquers the deadened land. It is currently dark, the sun long resting, but still long yet to rise. As the snow begins to touch the earth with gentle caresses, Mica watches and waits patiently for the right moment to enter through the portal.

She dreads moving from her warm palace into this dreadful, white, and bitter contrast, but it must be done. She can only enter, hope to be welcomed into the Three Kingdoms, and find the ones that she seeks with such fervor. Only they can stop what has already come to pass--so into the past she walks, deeply hoping that the ignorant will become learned and listen with wise ears.

As the cold, desperate air bites at her skin and the snow begins to dampen her clothes immediately, she shivers from the feeling of her history. The land around her is so empty--so dark, it's almost as if Arzworn knows what future calls to it and it is calling out to be freed, saved. She looks around her in sorrow, missing the scenery as it had been. It is truly beautiful here, nothing like the blackened and fiery place that it has become in her time.

She shakes her head, pushing away the memories and the sadness, reminding herself that she hasn't the time for soft kindness to the heart or any other sort of sentimentality. All that can be done is to find them all, one by one, and make them see the truth of their mistakes. The first target: Tatren.

((OOC: Feel free to post what you wish for your introduction, be in whatever area you wish and have fun! If you have any questions about how to start or about your characters, feel free to ask in the discussion thread. Thank you!))

Tatren everyone aboard ship

Frica looked up and noticed the sky. She knew a storm was on its way in. Before she could secure herself she was jarred into someone.

"I am so sorry sir!! I didn't mean to fall into you. See the waves are hitting the boat and I kind of just was pushed into you." She said standing up.

{Frica, All}

Tatren ignored the other members, his eyes focused on the land. He is disgusted knowing he could have taking care of that dragon. Instead he is trapped on this boat in the middle of nowhere. He grounded himself to the mast and keeps his feet in the ground. Pretty much keeping his balance on the tossing ship.

Suddenly one of the beings crash into him. It's body feels soft against his and its smells.... Tatren inhales deeply... differently than he has ever experience before. He quickly makes a thinner chain...out of his hand and wraps it around the mast and the being. "Safe now." He grunts looking away.

Before Frica could argue with the man she is held tight against the mast beside him. "Sir Do you know whats going on?" she asks him.

"What is your name. Mine is Frica." she said to him.

Tatren hears the being's voice from behind him. "Tatren. I don't know." He answers succinctly not bothering to face the being. The wind from the storm blowing her scent the opposite way. He only hopes this storm will end soon.

Immediately after she had woken up on the ship, The Sister did what she did best: blend into her surroundings. Unlike on land, her surroundings were completely unfamiliar to her, but she managed to find a hiding place with Vision's help. From her spot, she listened to the others as they spoke. The Sister recognized one voice as the woman who gave her the pearl, and the woman's heartbeat was disappearing and reappearing; one time it returned with two others. It was clear that she had the ability to teleport, which made her no laughing matter.

The Sister felt the tenseness in the air before the storm hit. She also didn't need to be able to see to tell that there was an immense amount of destruction on land. All those souls, finally liberated. She had to wonder why she was among those who were spared.

The storm only seemed to get worse as time passed. Sirrah white-knuckled the wheel, wincing as a wave rose up over the ship and crashed over her head, leaving her soaked. The poor Leanne was groaning from the constant pressure of the storm.

"Come on, come on," she muttered to her ship. She looked up as she saw movement, and only then did she notice the destruction on land. She felt herself go cold. Terrence.

There was a massive ripping sound, almost like a bolt of lighting, that brought her back to reality. Sirrah glanced over her shoulder to see that the mainsail had ripping, finally giving way to the pressure of the wind. Sirrah gritted her teeth, cursing the storm. She hadn't been given the time to furl the sails, and so now they were all in danger. The only thing to do was sit this out and hope the Leanne survived.

(Attn: Kameron) - FINALLY

Seeing as Izaya had succesfully succeeded in finding his charge, Kameron, he now noticed the immense chaos and horror that was happening all around him, much to his utter dismay. Fuming waves crashed against the side of the pitiful wooden boat, thunder cracked throughout the sky like a devils raging anger and terrifying dragons roared in sky, setting the landscape ablaze in apocalyptic fire.

Izaya could not believe his eyes. What Mica had said was... true? It didn't make sense. His mind, normally quick to react and able to create and emergency plan in a jiffy, was frozen with fear and confusion. He just stood there, maintaining his balance and staring sadly at the flames that consumed the world.

Thankfully, his reverie was broken when his protégé, Kameron, lost his balance and fell when a large struck the side of the ship. He yelled out and fell to the ground, sliding towards the edge of the boat. Luckily, he managed to grab hold of a frail looking rope.

Izaya's mind snapped into action the moment Kameron fell. He grabbed a rope from his satchel, wrapped it around his body and a large wooden post, and threw it towards Kameron in desperation, hoping that he would grab hold of it.

Naoya wasn't much of a sailor, but he knew that the ripping of the sailcloth was a big problem. The woman at the helm was struggling to maintain control, and he had to do something to help.

"You there! At the helm! What can I do?"

Kameron was fighting to keep his grip on the wet rope as more waves were coming to hit the ship. He wondered if this was truly the end of not and didn't know how he would make it up back inside the ship. Just then a new rope was trown near him and he gladly would took it, only the wind kept pushing it from left to right.

While waiting for the opportunity to catch it, the other rope he was on was starting to give up on him. The first rope suddenly shatter, but lucky enough he manage to catch the other one and after a few seconds, he started to go up. Finally getting back inside the ship, Izaya quickly came to his side and he said "That was a close one..."

Tatren hears a large ripping noise from above him and saw the cloth like piece tearing. That cannot be good. He looks at the being at the wheel of the boat, he hears the other man ask what to do. He will do what he is told, anything to survive this storm.

All he knows is he has to get back to land to stop that dragon from destroying the world. Not only for the bard, but himself as well.

[ATTN: Brandt]

Kilika hugged tighter to Brandt as the storm continued to worsen. There was a murderous ripping sound above them, the cloth tearing from the ferocity of the storm, as if it were seriously out to kill them. Was this it? Were they all going to die out here? At least, if they were going to die, her and Brandt could die together.

Sirrah turned as one of her new crew members called up to her. "Just hold on!" she yelled back. As much as she'd like to go up and furl the sails, that would be suicidal in this storm. And even if it was possible, the storm was still bad enough that there wouldn't be an impact. "Just hold on and don't die on me," she said again, watching as the Leanne dipped down into a trough between the waves.

Another wave rose high over the ship, and Sirrah had enough time to think Oh s*** no before it rammed into the Leanne. The impact was strong enough that she lost her grip on the wheel, thrown to the side by the sheer force of the wave. Sirrah tried to stand, but even for her, this storm was too much, worse even than the one that had nearly killed Terrence. The ship was completely out of control now, and Sirrah struggled to stand, trying to reach the wheel so she could have at least some control.

Tatren feels the latest wave hit the boat…Hard. The boat seems to be out of control. Sure enough when Tatren looks at the wheel there is no one there.

He throws up a magical chain as far as he can wrapping it securely around a sturdy object. He pulls himself over before throwing out another one. He is not concerned with the others. He only knows that the wheel thing is important. Finally he makes his way over to the wheel. He looks around and sees the being who was using it before. He wraps one last chain around the base and goes out to it.

He picks up the being and pulls it back to the wheel. He secures it with a chain, enough to give it some freedom. He doesn’t say anything as he moves away using his chains again.

[ATTN: All]

The dragon flew over the land, raining fire down on everyone and everything. He revelled in the screaming and fear of the humans below, and in the destruction of everything. Other dragons flew around him, also unleashing their wrath on the world. He directed them toward a city which had not yet been touched and watched as they laid waste to it.

He then flew down and landed on the ground in a particularly devastated area. He threw his head back and bellowed; it was an indescribable sound which reverberated through the air and the earth. It was then that the undead army marched in.

The undead creatures swarmed through the devastation, killing any survivors they found. The dragon assumed his human form and smiled widely. He followed after the army, his yellow eyes glowing with wrath and delight.

Tatren Open

Frica was a pale woman. If it had not been for that fact, she surely would have turned pale by this time. She had only been on a boat one other time. It had been a much larger boat as well. She felt almost seasick. The ship was having a hard time it seemed. The sails were tearing and were flapping hither and yon. Then there seemed to be "magical" looking chains. Tatren was not wearing a collar, and he was the source of the chains. Wild sorcery she thought. She knew that it was not right for this type of magic to be used.

"Tatren! Why would you go against the rules sir!! It is frowned upon to use that king of magic!" she said. "However if you can use that to help us now on theis ship I wouldn't care if you ran way from a master or not, I would love you for life!" The storm scared her some what. She was unused tobeing on the open sea and knew she wouldn't be any good to anyone on the ship right now.

Then she saw the dragon. She could not explain what she felt at the time due to there were no words to explain it.

[ATTN: Sirrah]

The wave had knocked her off her feet, but another of the passengers helped her back up... with magical chains. No matter. For the time being, arguing over a magician's abilities in the midst of a life-saving situation would be foolhardy and idiotic. He would certainly have a word with them later... if they all survived.

Naoya ran to her side and helped her steady the helm. Wave after wave battered the hull of the ship, which seemed to brave it time and time again. The woodwork groaned, but Naoya could feel the wood fight back, as if it were a living being. The sail flapped in the wind as if it were some sort of banner. The water had soaked everyone to the bone, and the wind simply made it worse. The cold- the unbearable cold began to set in.

"Let's pray that the steering chain will hold in these waters," Naoya said. "And let us pray we get to land soon."

Cedrick was getting cold. He didn't mind, but he knew that it would slow him down and maybe do some damage to his system. He looked around. It was a large ship, and there was a woman at the helm who was struggling against the elements, both in commanding the ship and in holding on, although she had been secured by a chain of some sort. Cedrick glanced at the ocean, and because there were no dangerously large waves coming quickly, he dashed over to the helm, grabbing onto railing to support himself. He then grabbed a coil of rope, and tied one end to what looked like a secure section of railing and the other tightly to his waist.

"Helmsman! What needs to be done? We need to make it to shore!" He yelled, willing to do whatever it took for the ship to stay in one piece.

{Attn: Kameron}

Izaya quickly helped his protégé up; he secured a rope around Kameron’s waist, noticing that the other man was blushing, despite the icy coldness of the rain that was pouring on everyone’s faces. Making sure that the rope was sufficiently solid, he issued a curt, yet attentive order to Kameron:

-My liege, that was indeed a close call. It would be prudent to watch where you place your feet. This storm is unnatural and the chances off death in this situation are excessively high. Also, I would like to ment-

He suddenly cut off, as the ship lurched forward and he fell to the ground, hitting his head on the hard wooden deck. His vision flashed from the impact, but Izaya was a rigorously well-built man, so he managed to retain consciousness. Slowly getting up, as he clutched his throbbing head, he looked around to make sure Kameron was all right, but his vision froze when he saw the Dragon in the distance.

Never before had he seen such a terrifying creature. From its mouth, waves of burning fire incinerated everything, and hordes of undead monstrosities passed beneath its massive form. Izaya managed to retain his panic but he could not help but feel extremely uneasy. This Dragon was not according to his plan. It was a warp, an anomaly. The destruction of the world was not meant to be, but Izaya knew, deep within his heart, that the Dragon was part of a greater plan, whose machinations merely overwhelmed Izaya mind.

Shacking himself free from his delusions, he immediately began to search for Kameron, despite the fact that the blinding rain prevented him from seeing the nearest object. And he was sure of one thing: he was an idiot for trusting that **** bard Mica.

(ATTN : Izaya, Cedrick, Open)

Kemeron did the only thing he could do, hold on to something hard. He gasp as Izaya fell backward, but the rain was pouring in harder, making it difficult to see anything. One thing he could see though was the massive destruction happening on the land. These creatures couldn't be real.... if they were it would mean that his home would be nomore as well as his father.

He however shook those thoughts aside as there was something more important to do and it was to survive this chaos. Hearing someone yelling about getting to the shore he yelled back at him to be heard. ''I dunno who said that ! But there's no way we'll get there ! And even if we did look at the lands !!!! As well as the waves !!! We would smash in with no escape route !'' Hoping that message got through he thought again.

They were trapped like rats into this storm and icy cold rain. He truly had no idea what to do at this point. Then he noticed Izaya getting closer and trying to see a thing. ''Over here Izaya !'' He called out hoping that the other man would notice him.

General Garrius looks up from his maps it seems his army is doing an excellent job at decimating the silly humans. Too long have they been in control of the planet. It is not their time to rule. He hears the dragon overhead. It won't be too long before they are in complete control.

Silly humans for trying to control the magic users. Now they are paying the price, for now is the time of reckoning on this miserable planet. He gets onto his horse and decides to have some fun of his own.

{Attn: ship}

Tatren barely hears Frica's responses in the wind. It mentioned something about magic being wrong? How can magic be wrong he's been using it his whole life. He pays her no attention as he watches the being at the wheel. He awaits her instruction.

[ATTN: ALL HANDS ON DECK]

Sirrah gave a small yell as chains suddenly appeared, dragging her back up to the wheel. Some form of magic? She searched for the man who had saved her, and saw the woodsman standing back a ways. She nodded at him thankfully - magic or no, she was back at the wheel.

They were all looking at her now, searching for orders. At least that was how it was supposed to be. "She's out of my control!" she said, gripping the wheel tightly. Ahead of her the shore rose up, the sea in front of it rocky and violent. The storm blew them towards the cliffs with mounting speed, and Sirrah jerked the wheel to the side, trying to direct them where the rocks were less numerous. "We have no choice in the matter, anymore!" she yelled. "We're gonna get thrown onshore whether we like it or not, so just hold on tight!"

"Mage!" she yelled, looking back over her shoulder at the woodsman. Maybe he could be useful after all. "Secure the crew! No one's dying today!"

Sirrah turned back to the wheel, bracing herself for the upcoming collision as the shore flew ever closer.

Hearing the woman's words made Cedrick wince. He gritted his teeth, readying himself for a jump if he needed it... He untied his sheath from his belt, and tied it to his shield. Remembering the rope, he took out his sword and slashed it, leaving him open to another wave that tumbled over the ship. Cedrick almost fell out, grabbing onto the railing at the last second. He watched the shore grow closer, trying not to remember that he couldn't swim.

Brand saw the horrific dragon as he let out a cry and summoned an army. Brandt didn’t even realize that he was squeezing his grip on Kilika as he stared out at the massacre that was going on. It all was happening so fast. He shook his head to clear his thoughts; he couldn’t focus on what was going over there. He just had to concentrate on Kilika and him surviving this.

Sirrah made an announcement that a rough impact was on the way. At least, if they survived the impact they would no longer be drifting through a storm. He made sure that he had a good grip on Kilika with one hand and was holding on tight to the ship with the other. “Just hold on tight.” He knew he didn’t have to instruct her, but he couldn’t help but be worried. He looked out at the shore. They were going to survive this.

{Attn: Kameron, Open}

Hearing Kameron's distinct timbre of voice, Izaya blindly made his way across the ship's dilapidated deck, praying to every one of his gods that he would not fall into the torrential waters that surrounded the ship. Using the rope between him and Kameron as a guide, he stumbled and half-ran across the ship.

Finally, thankfully, he made it to Kameron's position. Arriving beside the completely soaked and horrified man, he quickly made sure to tighten the rope between him and his protege. Satisfied that the bond between them would not break no matter what, Izaya turned towards the shore, and gasped in suprise as he saw how close it was to the ship. In a matter of seconds, the boat would be smashed to pieces against the hard and jagged rock that formed the coastline.

Moving closer to Kameron, Izaya yelled something to him with a small smile, over the sounds of the torrential rain and chaotic thunder:

-Sir Kameron! Unfortunately, we will be arriving earlier than usual! I would be wise of you to stick closely to me! I am your bodyguard, and it is my duty to protect you with my life!

Ignoring the man's reaction, he pulled Kameron towards a safer part of the deck, on the side of the ship that wasn't going to ram head-on into the shore. Arriving there, he safely secured Kameron and himself to a solid piece of rigging, and braced himself for a violent impact.

All in all, just a day on the job!

Kameron watched Izaya come slowly back to him and looked at what was coming, unsure of what had to be done. From what he could understand, they would soon hit the continent and hard. Sirrah turned the ship to try on taking less damage, and the impact was arriving fast.

He would give an answer to Izaya, only this one dragued him out of the way into a more secure place. They both were now secured to a solid piece of rigging and Kameron instinctly gripped on Izaya's as a nervous reflex and closed his eyes. Might as well stay close to a cute man if it was the end right ?

''I hope we'll get out of there alive.......'' Kameron thought but still tried to stay calm.
