Three Kingdoms Role-Play - Page 11 Empty Three Kingdoms Role-Play

Post by JerriLeah7 28th November 2011, 7:15 pm

First topic message reminder :

Three Kingdoms, Brynom, Inlantria, and Aandrin, are all in alliance with each other, sworn to aid each other at all costs in any event that one should find itself at war with another Kindom outside of their region. They are all located next to each other in a large, circular edge of the continent, named Arzworn, in the world of Carid. They actively trade, work, and support each other in all needs and never ask for assistance outside of this region.

It is the the season of winter, where lakes freeze, the ocean is wild from the icy winds, and the snow conquers the deadened land. It is currently dark, the sun long resting, but still long yet to rise. As the snow begins to touch the earth with gentle caresses, Mica watches and waits patiently for the right moment to enter through the portal.

She dreads moving from her warm palace into this dreadful, white, and bitter contrast, but it must be done. She can only enter, hope to be welcomed into the Three Kingdoms, and find the ones that she seeks with such fervor. Only they can stop what has already come to pass--so into the past she walks, deeply hoping that the ignorant will become learned and listen with wise ears.

As the cold, desperate air bites at her skin and the snow begins to dampen her clothes immediately, she shivers from the feeling of her history. The land around her is so empty--so dark, it's almost as if Arzworn knows what future calls to it and it is calling out to be freed, saved. She looks around her in sorrow, missing the scenery as it had been. It is truly beautiful here, nothing like the blackened and fiery place that it has become in her time.

She shakes her head, pushing away the memories and the sadness, reminding herself that she hasn't the time for soft kindness to the heart or any other sort of sentimentality. All that can be done is to find them all, one by one, and make them see the truth of their mistakes. The first target: Tatren.

((OOC: Feel free to post what you wish for your introduction, be in whatever area you wish and have fun! If you have any questions about how to start or about your characters, feel free to ask in the discussion thread. Thank you!))

Tatren simply nods at the being yelling at him. He looks around at the rest of the people. He secures the ones that need securing, not thinking twice about his magic. He can see the land getting close and closer. This is not good. It is going to be a rough approach. He only hopes the boat stays together.

Frica continues to stay where she is. The shore seems closer then it had. She begins to feel sick She begins throwing up knowing what is coming can't be good for all of them.

"Oh dear Goddess...PLEASE have mercy for all of us here." she said praying.

[ATTN: ALL]

Sirrah scanned the shore ahead desperately. The sea ahead was at least a little less rocky, and the shore was relatively smooth, but even then, at the pace they were moving...

She looked up the shore, gazing past the destruction, the burning buildings, to find, much to her surprise, a dock, still somehow standing. It was small thing, the sort of port that only barely got used during the year, but it gave her hope anyways. They would never be able to reach it, but at least they'd be able to tie the Leanne up there. Maybe they could save her ship after all.

No more time to think. Sirrah spun the wheel one last time, seeing the shore nearly upon them. She braced herself, and the waves lifted the Leanne, carrying her almost over the rocks in their way. She could feel her ship shaking though, and knew that if she were to go below, she'd see the hull taking on water.

There was a terrifying jerk as the Leanne ran into the shore, starboard side first, and Sirrah was thrown against the wheel, and she felt the wind rush out of her from the impact. The waves pulled the ship back, then slammed her into the shore again, and there was a sickening crack.

Sirrah only barely held herself up. No no no, please, she thought. Not her ship. She looked up, seeing the dock jutting out in the water, the buildings in the harbor still standing tall. They had been so close - though, she realized, had they managed to reach the docks they would likely have just destroyed them.

She could feel her ship starting to sag in the water. "Get to shore, everyone!" she called, staying at the wheel. They were close enough to shore now that they could probably take the lifeboats down and row them over to the dock, so long as they stayed in the shadow of the Leanne. She'd wait for them to go first - it was her duty to see them off her ship. And to stay with the Leanne in her dying moments.

(Attn: Leanne, open)

Cedrick braced himself, trying to secure himself more tightly to the railing. Then the ship hit the shore. Swearing as he was tossed about, Cedrick managed to stay attached to the ship, and both his sword and shield were still there. Then the waves slammed the ship against the coast again, and he fell to the deck, cutting himself on the cracking wood.

"This won't do..." He thought angrily.

Pulling himself up, he saw lifeboats being lowered into the water. He then glanced back at the helmsman - or helmswoman as he now saw - and saw her stubbornly staying at the helm, watching people get into lifeboats.

"Hey! This is no time for heroics! Get yourself off the wheel and down to the lifeboats!"

When the woman seemed to ignore him, he grabbed his sword, slashing through the rope, and ran over to her, grabbing her wrist.

"We have to leave, before that dragon sees us."

He then started trying to drag her in the direction of the lifeboats, knowing that he might end up with some scratches.

Tatren makes all his chains disappear. He stands at the edge of the boat. He looks out at the docks. He studies the distance and makes one of his magical chains and throws it across.

A dockworker sees the chain and doesn't think twice about grabbing it. He begins to secure it as Tatren waits.

ALL

Fricka feels Tatrens chains disappear and she finds herself looking out at the pier. They had survived. She sighed as she looked for a way to shore. She sees a rope that is hanging on the mast. She walks over and tests it and sees that it is secure.

"Hey everyone! I think we can at least swing over to the pier from here!" she said as she began to pull the rope back with her. Taking a running jump she nimbly swings herself landing lightly on the pier that was still in tact. She smiles as she thanks the heavens that she is off that boat.

"Now WHERE is that BARD!" she said yelling at the rest of the party to make sure that they could hear her. "I THINK WE HAVE A BONE to pick with her."

After the dock crew secured his chain, Tatren swings across. He sees the destruction around the area. The destruction caused by the dragon. He watches as the being yells at the bard. He narrows his eyes "Bard saved us. I go find dragon."

He turns and begins to run off.

This role-play is being moved to the archives due to massive inactivity from many participants.

It may be continued at a later date when people decide they aren't too busy with other role-plays. Thank you.
