Three Kingdoms Role-Play - Page 2 Empty Three Kingdoms Role-Play

Post by JerriLeah7 28th November 2011, 7:15 pm

First topic message reminder :

Three Kingdoms, Brynom, Inlantria, and Aandrin, are all in alliance with each other, sworn to aid each other at all costs in any event that one should find itself at war with another Kindom outside of their region. They are all located next to each other in a large, circular edge of the continent, named Arzworn, in the world of Carid. They actively trade, work, and support each other in all needs and never ask for assistance outside of this region.

It is the the season of winter, where lakes freeze, the ocean is wild from the icy winds, and the snow conquers the deadened land. It is currently dark, the sun long resting, but still long yet to rise. As the snow begins to touch the earth with gentle caresses, Mica watches and waits patiently for the right moment to enter through the portal.

She dreads moving from her warm palace into this dreadful, white, and bitter contrast, but it must be done. She can only enter, hope to be welcomed into the Three Kingdoms, and find the ones that she seeks with such fervor. Only they can stop what has already come to pass--so into the past she walks, deeply hoping that the ignorant will become learned and listen with wise ears.

As the cold, desperate air bites at her skin and the snow begins to dampen her clothes immediately, she shivers from the feeling of her history. The land around her is so empty--so dark, it's almost as if Arzworn knows what future calls to it and it is calling out to be freed, saved. She looks around her in sorrow, missing the scenery as it had been. It is truly beautiful here, nothing like the blackened and fiery place that it has become in her time.

She shakes her head, pushing away the memories and the sadness, reminding herself that she hasn't the time for soft kindness to the heart or any other sort of sentimentality. All that can be done is to find them all, one by one, and make them see the truth of their mistakes. The first target: Tatren.

((OOC: Feel free to post what you wish for your introduction, be in whatever area you wish and have fun! If you have any questions about how to start or about your characters, feel free to ask in the discussion thread. Thank you!))

Frica smiled as she bowed slightly to him. The night didn't seem so cold in the presence of others. She looked at him delighted to be in his company. A walk sounded marvelous at the time especially with someone of his nature.

"I will walk with you if you do not mind. I understand business is business but in the company of others it can be grand and splendor." she said.

She continued to smile as she stood beside him. "Please sir if you will escort me I will be happy to accompany your rounds."

[ATTN: Kilika]

Lalinda stands and smiles, her face slightly cheery. She looks about her with hope and says, "Of course. Thank you, Kilika. I'll be off, now, I've got much to do to get my house warm again.

You know that they are developing a new sort of fire wood from some sort of special trees that only grow in Aandrin? Apparently, the wood burns longer, and burn even when damp! They'll probably charge us a lot of money for it, but I think I could afford some for my fireplace to at least try it out."

Lalinda starting gathering her things, ready to take her leave. Her shawl keeps slipping down as she tries to ready herself for returning home, so she repeatedly has to pull it back up as she speaks to Kilika, a smile in her eyes.

[ATTN: Tatren]

When Tatren shows his interest, Mica smiles. She looks down and takes a seat on a tree stump where a tree had previously stood tall. She begins to tell her story, her eyes darting occasionally to the men behind Tatren as she does so, in order to be sure that the fools do not ruin her plans.

She would hate to kill in front of Tatren, for if death became necessary, he may not trust her...not that he should even trust her now. However, he will, when she has saved his life for the first time. Especially since he is the first target on the dragon's list.

"There is a dragon, they say, that can take the form of humans, like we are." Mica says sweetly, "This isn't a kind dragon, Tatren, this is a vengeful one that would devour our kind, if it could. That dragon has two discerning marks when it has taken our shape.

Those two markings are its eyes, which will forever be reptilian and yellow, and a particular tattoo on its face."

As Mica began to describe the tattoo, she bent down and began to draw in the snow with her finger, somehow showing marvelous detail in such an odd design. There were no correct words to describe it efficiently, but she could only do her best while drawing it as accurately as possible.

When she finished, she continued, "It is said that the dragon searches, Tatren, searches endlessly for certain beings that show a potential to bring an end to its kind. It will kill those with the potential first, and then rid this world of us all."

Mica pauses, making sure that Tatren gets a good look at the design that she drew into the snow, the odd, twisted mark that seemed to almost melt into the snow.

"That's the legend, they say," Mica says casually, "That is the only knowledge I wished to part with you, for it is a good story--a great myth. Now that I have told you a story, I can give you this, with which you can summon me, should you need me."

Mica handed over a tiny, black, pearl, one that she doubted he knew how to use. Tatren probably thought her crazy, now, but she didn't care. She did specify that it is only a legend, so she never claimed that any of it is fact. Though the pearl will seem strange, he will surely take it, for black pearls are one of the rarest materials to be found. She turns to leave.

[ATTN: Captain Sirrah]

As Aaron heard his name called, he rushed forwards, beckoning men to start moving. She sounds to be in a positive mood, so hopefully, he could get his men to move quick enough for Sirrah's liking. If they did, she'd not even have to step from her ship and be completely happy.

If they didn't, however, she'd have to step onto the land she shows no interest for simply to assist in resupplying the ship and removing the trade cargo given to her from previous visits. Still, he hopes that none of that will be necessary.

Men begin to struggle with the ship's movement, as the ocean is wild tonight, ready to throw the Leanne around at its own whim. He fights with a few of the crew men verbally, rushing men on and throwing out threats to keep them moving. It is hard to motivate men that are freezing and stiff...but, it must be done.

"Mistress Pendrik! Oh, am I glad to see you!"

Rebecca walked in--and tripped over the rug. Instead of falling flat on her face, however, she turned it into a near-graceful roll. She smiled sweetly at the now dumbfounded Theodore Maddox who had for the moment forgotten his wife's plight.

"Trixie," Rebecca said. "Got impatient to have that baby, eh?"

Trixie managed a small smile, though she grimaced. She motioned to Stellar, who had carried her pack for her, and began getting the right herbs. To Theodore, who now remembered his wife, she said, "Bring me lots of towels, if you please, and a mixing bowl, if you will."

"Right!" said Theodore, turning and scrambling for another room.

To Trixie she said, "Put some water over the fire and--"

"I already did, ma'am!" Trixie said brightly.

Rebecca looked over to their chimney and saw that, indeed, there was a large pot of almost boiling water. Trixie was beside herself with pride--her mother had told Rebecca that she intended to follow in Rebecca's footsteps.

"Very nicely done," she said encouragingly.

The Tremalkings were from a well-to-do family, so they had more rooms than the average household, decorated nicely with rugs and tapestries and a family portrait. Tremalking worked under his father making silk, which earned him many privileges.

When the water had come to a boil, and Theodore had returned with the necessary materials, Rebecca set to work at once. First, she mixed a concoction to help induce the labor and relieve the pain of the birthing. The baby wasn't long in coming.

However, a complication arose quickly: the baby was turned the wrong way. Before her studies, this would have proven fatal for the baby and ended in distraught parents, but Rebecca had learned much, and with gentle motions, managed to re-align the baby.

As she gave the orders to push, she kept Stellar waiting to catch the baby while Rebecca herself put her hands on the woman's stomach. She focused, and the power of life flowed through her and into Trixie, easing the birth, easing the complications that before would have threatened to kill this woman.

A healthy baby girl was born. A snip of the umbillical cord and some cleanup, and Rebecca was able to give the girl to the happy parents.

"Thank you," said Theodore, beside himself with joy.

"Thank the Goddess," was Rebecca's simple reply. "She granted the gift of life this day."

[ATTN: Aaron]

Sirrah felt her mood start to sour as the Leanne refused to calm down. Some wild, irrational part of her wanted to pull up the anchor and take her out of there, provisioned or not, but she had a responsibility to her men to take care of them.

Finally, she and her men furled the last great sail, and without the wind pulling her along, the Leanne began to calm down. Sirrah wiped the sweat and spray out of her face, looking up the mast.

"Captain!" Sirrah turned to see one of her lieutenants, Yoren Walsh, approach her and salute. She returned the salute, and tried to push aside her irritation and adopt a genial tone.

"What is it, Lieutenant?" she asked him.

"Sir, the enlisted men sent me to speak with you," Yoren said, glancing away from her quickly. "They want permission to... permission to disembark and spend the night in town."

A night off, in other words. She smirked. "They have it," she said, loud enough that those around her could hear. Aaron could deal with the rest of the cargo - she knew her men didn't love the sea as she did, and without a break on land, they might well get restless. "And you do as well, Lieutenant. Don't go wasting your pay, you hear?"

"Yes, sir," Yoren said, relieved, and turned back to shout something over the wind. Sirrah let her smile drop from her face, turning to the walkway down to the dock. She hated tying the Leanne up in port - it made her feel caged. She had to move, somewhere, anywhere. Perhaps she should follow Yoren's lead and walk amongst the landrats for a time.

She jogged down the walk to find Aaron. "I trust you can take care of the lady until I return," she said, gesturing behind her to her ship.

{Attn Mica}

Tatren stands with his arms crossed as Mica tells her story. He is very observant as she draws the markings in the snow. Those particular markings he has never seen before, and he has seen a lot of tattoos. Then she tells a story, a story he knows all to well. Stories from his childhood that was cut short. He looks at her again, his stance not changing, but if one looks at him closer they would see sadness in his eyes.

Then she hands him a black pearl. He looks at it oddly never have seen a bead like this. She mentions about summoning her. As she turns he raises his eyebrow. "Why need you? I kill it myself." He states gruffly.

Moving back to his mansion, he get back inside, dismissing the guards. A slave come near him and help him remove his warm coat to place it back into the closet.

Kameron didn't say much and rushed back to his father office. Where his source would wait if any information was given. Entering the office, he saw two familiar faces as he enter. ''Welcome and sorry about the wait, I wasn't sure when you would have made it back.'' He said walking behind the desk and sitting on his chair.

''So any information on the matter ?'' Kameron asked, looking serious.

''We have some however I fear it is quite vague sir.'' One said looking a bit sad he didn't find anymore information then this with his partner.

''I see... Do tell still.'' Kameron said listening to the two before him.

''We found information that you may find what you are looking for within Inlantria capital. However we do not have details nor do we know if info can be completely trusted.'' The second said.

''Mmm, that is pretty far. Although if necessary I will go there. Igton !'' He called out.

''Yes my Lord? '' Igton replied as he had been there the whole time.

''Please make any necessary operation to protect my father while I'm gone, I'll be going to Inlantria's capital.'' Kameron said with no hesitation.

''But, my lord you should bring an escort with you !'' Igton said to him a bit worried about his sudden decision.

''Please, I'll be fine don't you worry about me. I will be fine alone.'' Kameron said.

''Alright, but let a few guards get to the port with you at least. '' Igton insisted.

''If they do it'll only alert people that something is up, that is why I want to go alone, or do you doubt my judgement Igton? '' Kameron replied with a severe look.

''I understand... And of course not my Lord, I am simply concerned of your safety.''

''Good. I shall go make preparations, and you two, good job upon finding the info. Igton will give you the money, you are dismissed.'' Kameron said rushing out of the office to his room. Making quick preparations with strict necessary and his equipement.

''When will you leave sir ?...'' Igton said entering the room.

''Tomorrow morning and please do knock before entering, it's common sense.'' Kameron exclaimed a bit angry.

''Alright then. I'll try to look into which boats are in our port for you to slip in.'' Igton replied as he then chuckle a bit. ''Do excuse my manners my Lord.''

Kameron looked at the other man with a sigh and say ''Fine, you try to find a ship.''

''On my way then.'' Igton said leaving the room.

Darian was walking around the dining hall, serving a few warriors some food and eavesdropping on their conversations, hoping to hear a story. It was a typical day for him, so when he was done serving the meals he had been carrying, he went back into the kitchen and smiled. "Wow, I can't wait until I'm older... Then I can finally become a warrior."

"Huh, that's pretty neat," Kilika replied to Lalinda. "Have a good night."

It's not like her talk about wood really interested Kilika, but she had learned to at least pretend to be interested. People generally liked that. She began to walk forward once again, trying to remember what she had been thinking before she had run into Lalinda.

However, when she went a bit further, she happened upon the lifeless body of a rat on the side of the path. She was wearing gloves, so she bent down and grabbed it by the tail. It was frozen to the ground, however, so it took some work to actually pick it up.

When she finally did get it free from the ground, she held it up to eye-level. It was completely frozen; its fur sparkled in what little light there was. Death was beautiful, people just didn't take the time to realize that.

Brandt continued down a side street of Inlantria. The city was fairly dark, only being lit by a few lights so that travelers could find their way. Stopping for a moment, he let himself take a deep breath of the night air. It made him feel cold and crisp inside, but it also helped make him feel more alert. Inside, he was glad that the cold helped keep him attentive. He was not afraid of being attacked since he knew he could defend himself fine, but he wanted to be ready for the unexpected. That was the best way he could train himself to be a bodyguard.

Brandt began to think back on his reason to be a bodyguard, and it was all because of one person. In the past, he had always been a hard worker, always going the extra mile and pushing himself to his limits. Back then, it was just part of his nature as if he had something to prove, but now he had a reason. He was going to protect her no matter. As he thought of Kilika, he realized that he should try to find her. He hadn’t seen her as much because he was taking various jobs as a bodyguard. But now that he had finished the job, he wondered if he should try looking for her or if it was too late at night. Deciding that it was worth a try, he started to continue on his way.

Witack smiled at her remarks, knowing he'd be much better off with someone whose company he'd enjoy rather than the company of his guards who didn't seem to talk at all. He thought of where to begin on his rounds and he quickly replied.

'And I'd be happy to escort you as you accompany me on my rounds.'

He gestured towards a nearby street where one of his clients lived. The night was slowly dwindling and dawn was creeping around the corner but Witack knew of the festival and most people did not sleep until the evening of the next day after they had finished their daily labour.

'I only have one client to see but he is important in my trade. Every other client must visit me at my home and request an audience with me otherwise I will go about my day in normalcy.'

He explained to her as they walked at nearly the same speed. Occasionally, he would pull ahead and would stop to wait for her to pass him before he started walking once more. This town was rather rich but it still needed work to be done and so, people came to him for favours while he made money from trading guards to Inlantria or transporting resources around the realm.

Witack was in ownership of several mines and lumber camps, all of which fueled his market of trading resources and bartered these resources for money which he spent again on turning boys into soldiers, either going to Inlantria, the Knights of the Round, to the Wall or his own home.

Aandrin is content with their naval fleet, only our ancestors know their fate when an army creates a conflict on the land. Nevertheless, they still get paid for transporting resources during seasons such as this where horses will most often lose their way and most definitely find themselves in the hell-bent town of Thieves' Landing. If rumour has its way, then the monarchy should be sending a small force led by one of the Knights of the Round to exterminate the scum living there.

Witack Open

Frica smiles as she takes a few steps in front of Witack. However she stops and spins around her dress twirling around her as she does so. She walks back to him and takes his arm in her own arm in the same manor as a gentleman would escort his lady.

"How about we walk together and not just me in front of you." she says. "Besides You know where we are going and I do not sir." She tells him point blankly. She then continues on in the conversation that he started.

"I see. It must be very interesting to be in your work field Mr Witack. I have only ever known dancing. It has been my life sir."

She had only known her foster mother as she has no family. Sadly she had passed on. However Frica was never really alone as she always had someone to talk to talk to and it never took her long to make friends. Dancing had become her life and she was well known for it. That is how she met a lot of people.

[ATTN: Captain Sirrah]

Aaron tenses as the Captain leaves her ship, dreading any sort of anger that she may contain. The woman is dangerous--he knows all too well from experience. As she speaks to him briefly, he nods his head with sincerity.

"Of course, Captain. I wouldn't dream of letting a scratch reach the hull." Aaron replies, shifting his feet nervously. He hopes she isn't too miserable while she is away.

[ATTN: Tatren]

Mica smiles at Tatren's statement, chuckling with amusement. He has truly never before seen a dragon, which is of no surprise as they have never been seen by mankind at this point in time. Still, the statement comes across her thoughts as irony.

"Perhaps you will." Mica says, no mocking in her tone, "Perhaps you will. Either way, it is always wise to have a defense, even if you don't need it."

With that, Mica turned away and decided to head out towards her next target. Hopefully, this won't take too long. She is running out of time and she still has so much to do.

ATTN Frica

Witack for a few moments about the trade he would go about routinely. It seemed so second nature to him and he could do it with so much efficiency. Nevertheless, his fortune is that of inheritance and not of what he had managed to scrounge together into what people call their savings. But now he was trading by the thousands of coins and one moment, many thousand coins would depart and another moment, twice as many would return to him.

The client he must see owes him money for a favour he had done him. He has requested a service and since that service had expired, it was time for him to be paid. The specificities of the favour cannot be disclosed but they are kept somewhere in his library at home with all the other records of his transactions. The transactions that would turn his image from a saint to sinner.

He watched the dancer twirl with her usual grace, the dress following her movement as if it was part of her. He smiled when she had linked their arms, feeling a certain happiness to be near her.

'You've only known dancing so how must you live? Surely, you must be in employment to dance like you do so well.'

He spoke as they walked, he glanced at the houses down the street, looking for the client's home. The town was dark and quiet apart from the town square, all the townspeople would be banqueting with their families and friends. Like Witack must be doing with his wife before he had felt the sudden urge to leave his home.

{Attn: Mica, Open}

Seeing nothing to add to the conversation, Tatren stays silent. He does not have long to wait before the being leaves. He looks down committing the markings to memory. He knows what his next mission will be, but for now he has to return to the original one.

He walks over to the hunting group who are all standing around the carcass talking about the kill. The leader of the group claps Tatren on the back. Tatren fights the urge to take the man down. He has seen the other guys do the same action before. It is something that is acceptable in this group.

Tatren is handed a pouch as the leader mention something about payment. He looks in the pouch and there are round pieces of gold and silver. He looks at the leader holding the pouch out. "I want hide."

The leader looks at him and laughs. "I forgot." He takes back the pouch removing some of the coins. He gives it back to Tatren. "Here keep it along with the hide and the meat, we have enough to take with us." Which is true they have been on a three day trip and gotten at least one deer a day.

Tatren parted ways with the group taking the deer back to his hut. There is a full moon and he butchers the deer to the best of his capabilities. He is thankful for the cold temperatures, the meat will not spoil. He then goes inside and dumps the round pieces out of the bag. There are some gold and silver. The gold he pick up and puts into a box. He really has no use for them. Gold is a soft metal. The silver he can melt down to make heads for his arrows. He is not skilled enough to make other weapons. He walks over to his bed and falls asleep. He has lot of work to do tomorrow.

"I hope not," Sirrah says, stepping down onto dry ground. She lurched, unused to the lack of motion, and stood unsteadily. She frowned. "Any damage done to her will be done back in kind, you understand?" she snapped, lashing out verbally like a caged animal. She walked off quickly, not waiting to hear a response.

Already she was feeling worse, bitter Going into port was always like this, like she was walking into a trap. She would get used to it, given some time, but she needed to move, first. At sea there was always something to do, somewhere to explore. At ports, especially ones she knew, there wasn't, and in all honesty, it scared her. She couldn't understand the landrats that were content in a place like this.

She wandered aimlessly, making sure to pay attention to her surroundings. She had a good sense of direction, from all that time navigating at sea, but that wouldn't be enough to help her navigate through these confusing streets. She wrapped her arms around herself, only now feeling the bitter cold. It seemed that everything bad about that night was amplified in the confinement of the small, landbound city and it's people. How could anyone stand it?

Sirrah kept walking, hoping that it might help her relax.

[ATTN: OPEN]

Mica quickly returned to the portal area, a limited, five foot by five foot placement in the veil where it is much thinner than everywhere else. These placements are few and far between, difficult to find and even more arduous to balance and manage. However, with the appropriate help, Mica has managed quite effectively and efficiently.

When the doorway appears, she steps through quickly, eager for the warmth of her home. As surely as she steps through, she looks to her left, where the palace wall used to be. There isn't a wall there, now, the black markings from the dragon's flame hanging on to the remnants of the small slabs of stone at the base of what used to be a wall.

She sighs, looking out at the dead earth beyond her home, observing the destruction of her lands before closing her eyes and imagining the beautiful landscape of the Inlantrian snow that she had just previously experienced.

"Your majesty?" A voice calls. Mica is not royalty, nor has she ever been. She knows only the basics of how those of high class are to deal with lower class citizens and so on. She doesn't care, though. She is only treated as royalty because she was the only one left who was willing to step up to the plate and take control of the situation. As such, everyone decided to be followers and begin to give her the entitlement of becoming their queen.

She turns around, pushing down the anger and frustration of her destroyed home, finding one of her trusted servants standing only a few feet away. She is wearing her usual servant attire, but it is now covered in blood, just as is the dagger that is currently resting in her hand.

"What's going on?" Mica asks, alarmed.

"Everything is okay, your majesty." The servant replies, stepping forward slowly and placing the dagger onto the floor, "While you were away, there was a man that came through, ready to assassinate you. I took care of him, majesty."

"Stop calling me that." Mica says, moving up to her and pointing towards the door, "Go get cleaned up. Honestly, Kari, respect yourself...and thank you. For protecting me."

"Yes, my lady, right away." Kari replies, "Are you about to go in again?"

"As soon as I've made some adjustments, yes." Mica replies, "Who is my next target?"

Kari cringes grimly. "Kilika Armstrong."

Witack

Frica walked arm in arm with Witack. She answered his question truthfully. She looked up at him as she began to speak.

"I was raised by a foster mother, I never knew my real parents. I don't know who they are, what happened to them or anything. I even took my foster mothers last name. I loved her, however a few years ago when the plague went around she passed from it. There was nothing I could do. I live alone here. I am a professional dancer so any and all will come to see me dance. It doesn't take me long if I need work. Usually they come to me and ask for me to dance though. How can I tell them no though? For dancing is my life." she said smiling.

The night breeze blew lightly in the early dawn hours. Her dress blew slightly in the breeze. She always had something to say to anyone and everyone. She was never really lonely since it never took her long to find someone to talk with.

ATTN- Frica

Witack listened to her story and imagined a very young girl being taken into care. His mind didn't recreate the effect of the plague as the image would've become so grim to bear. He watched her as she spoke to him, their proximity didn't bother him as much as the cold did. When she had finished, he thought of a very impossible or very difficult idea.

'If you feel so lonely, why don't you occupy a room at my home?'

He made the suggestion and only just realized the parameters of bringing another girl into his home. There would be consequences but he is not inviting her in as part of an intimate affair. He only makes the offer so as to ease her living knowing she probably hasn't been treated like she will be treated if she agrees.

He cannot get involved with his girl, for it would risk a lot more than his family's honour. The same honour which has allowed him seven wives. He will help her but friendship must be his limitation.

[Attn: Open]

The birthing had been draining, but she felt lighter on her feet all the same on her way home. Bringing life into this world was a blessing of the Goddess and she was blessed that the Goddess had allowed her to do it. She felt so giddy, she started skipping...until she tripped on a random stone in the street and fell flat on her face, unable to roll out of this one.

She picked herself off the ground and still had a bounce in her step as she got moving once more. Though most hated this bitter cold, she loved it. The air was crisp, the night sky sharp and bright, and she could hear music in everything around her.

She stopped. That was music she was hearing, not just the normal she heard in everyday life. It was late, but she didn't care, the music called to her.

She burst into a tavern, the cold whipping at her heels. Musicians stood on the stage at the furthest end, making a lovely tune come alive. The patrons of the bar--what few there were at this hour--all turned to regard her. Recognition dawned in their eyes.

"Mistress Pendrik!" Oliver the bartender called. "What brings you out in this dreadful chill?"

Rebecca looked at him and smiled. "Music, my fine lad," she said happily. "Music."

Oliver smiled. "Just don't overwhelm them," he said with a laugh.

She walked up to the musicians and saw a viola laying behind them. They stopped when she approached, looked at each other when she hopped on the stage, and started to object when she grabbed the viola. She held it and its wand in her hand and got a feel for it. Instantly, a soulful melody filled her and it was all she could to contain it. The musicians looked on in abject astonishment, shook themselves, and began trying to accompany it after a few bars.

Before long she was finished and the patrons clapped. The musicians looked at her with a newfound sense of respect and awe. But before they could say anything, she felt another song in her, this one a catchy dancing jig. Once more, she played what was in her and once more the musicians began accompanying. Before they knew it, the tables had been pushed back and there was dancing all around. People in the streets were even coming in to join along.

Witack

Frica thinks for a moment. She did not want to intrude if he was a married man least he start to fall for her and ruin his marriage. At the same time living with someone else would be a good thing. If anything it could only benefit her. She admits shes never usually lonely but the thought of living with someone was a good thing.

"Tell me sir. Are you a married man. I would not want to intrude upon you and your wife if that was the case. I would feel sorrowful if I came between you and your wife least you should fall for me and ruin a good thing between you and your wife." she said standing her ground.

"I am a very proud woman Witack I wish for you not to harm yourself in your offer to me."

(ATTN: Sirrah, Open)

Igton sended servants to go look for a ship for his highness while Kameron was making all preparations for his trip. Being now in front of his master of art he explain the situation and told him about his departure.

''It it much unfortunate to see you leave your home and have to go so far, but I will give you wishes of good luck in your quest. '' The master said to his student with a soft smile.

''Thank you very much, I will now go around the mansion and notify a few more people. I'll come back to get my equipment tomorrow morning.'' Kameron said with a serious look as he left through the door.

''My Lord...'' Igton called hoping Kameron would hear him as he came out of the sparring hall.

''Yes? What is it Igton ? Found any ship yet ? '' Kameron asked him wondering what was wrong.

''Yes although I believe the captain is somewhere in the city.... from the info I've got she is a bit taller then average womans with red hairs and hazel eyes. And her name is Sirrah.'' Igton replied to Kameron with a smile. ''Will you go looking for her, or shou-'' He was then interupted.

''Yes I will go, thank you for your help Igton, you are dismissed.'' Kameron said promptly, turning toward the direction of his room, changing into something more 'normal'. He put on a pair of pants and a comfortable long sleeve shirt. Now rushing to the exit, he take a blue coat that ended at his knee and put it on with the help of a servant that insisted on helping.

With that he was off to search for the Captain Sirrah toward the city. After several minutes of walking, almost fourthy minutes to say, he finally find someone that seemed to match the description.

Kameron get closer to her and call out being straight to the point. ''Captain Sirrah ?....'' He wasn't sure it was her, but had a good feeling it was.

[ATTN: Brandt]

Kilika put the rat back down and continued on her. As she walked, she happened to look down a side street and saw a figure walking in it. She couldn't see any features, but she could tell by the massive, muscled build that it had to be Brandt. She wondered for a moment why he would be out there, but then figured he was probably looking for her.

"Hey! Brandt!" she called, waving to him.

[ATTN: Kameron]

Sirrah wandered in the city, walking at a fast clip, trying to calm down. She still stumbled, every once in a while, when she let herself relax and forget that the ground was solid. She kept an eye on the streets, watching for road signs, people, important buildings, learning as much as she could of the city.

She came to a sudden stop as she heard someone calling her name. She turned quickly, composing herself, and found herself facing a short, muscular man.

"Yes, I am Captain Sirrah," she said, turning to face him completely. She kept her hands flexed at her side, in case he meant ill - though from his stance, he didn't seem to be looking for a fight. "Do you have business with me, then?" she asked.

Kameron nod to the red-haired lady and stay in his serious term, although do talk to her into the best manners possible. ''I do have business with you, forgive my rudeness for not giving you my name first. '' He look around and seeing there wasn't anyone else around he continued.

''My name is Kameron Aardis. I am the son of this city's mayor, although he is not quite in good shape at the moment... and from what I recently learned, I will need to go to Inlatria in order to find a way to heal him.

Which is where you come in, from what I've heard you have quite a great ship and if it's okay with you, I could use a lift to the other side. I will pay you of course for the time I could be stealing from you and your crew. '' Kameron stoped talking but stayed serious ''So this is the situation, will you help ?''

Sirrah paused for a moment, considering. "I don't care whose son you are," she said, "and once we're out at sea, neither will my crew. To an extent, you will be treated like the rest of the men. Any orders I receive will take precedent over your mission, and we aren't leaving until early tomorrow morning."

She took a breath, then continued sternly. "I don't know exactly what role you play in this city, and really I don't care. But I won't tolerate you belittling my authority while we're at sea. If your okay with those terms, then we have a deal." She waited, crossing her arms, not expecting too much. She had been approached before with requests from nobles for passage, and many had backed down before. Still, his mission was more urgent than others she had heard, so she wasn't sure what to expect.
